Chapter 19: Conclusions and Regrets?

Firstly as the Authors note, I would like to say gomenesai that I haven't updated in awhile and I really appreciate all the reviews that you all provided for me, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! I was just so busy with my high school work as well as my after school activities. After all, what do you expect from a 5 foot 8 sophomore asian girl that has to deal with hockey practice and games, Student Congress, Speech, Drama, Church, Violin Lessons to prepare for contest, and also social time with my friends. BUT EVERYONE WHO READS MY STORY IS MY NAKAMA AND NOW I WILL PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO YOU GUYS AND SHOW YOU MY NEW UPDATE!
Also, please expect a new story from me coming up pretty soon. I probably will publish it on here sometime soon. It will be like a Fairy Tail high story and called, "The Elegance." Yeah, I know, it sounds awesome. Anyway, let's continue where we left off~
'Previously on Turning Your Back on a Nakama.'
"Last Match of the Day. Opponents please step forward." I called out.
Both mages had walked slowly forward to the battlefield.
The last match was the leaders of both teams. On one side, it was my EX-best friend and partner, Natsu Dragneel and the other was my new team mate, Austin.
'This is going to be a LONG match'. I thought to myself.
(Lucy's P.O.V)
I stared blankly up at the front of the battlefield. Both mages were glaring at one another until one of them decided to speak up…
"Oi Pinky. You wanna quit while you're ahead. There's no way you can beat a Pegasus Slayer, and a water elemental at the same time." Austin said with a genuine smirk planted upon his lips.
Natsu didn't replied. He just kept his head down with his pink locks of hair covering his onyx eyes.
"Guess you're not gonna reply. Well then… Luce, can you start the mat-"
"Shut it you arrogant asshole." Natsu whispered but it caught on to Austin and he cocked an eyebrow to the Fire Dragon Slayer.
"What did you just say bastard?!" Austin screamed. Apparently, the rest of the crowd watching this match didn't hear what Natsu had said to Austin so Natsu looked up with fire in his eyes and growled back a response, "I told you to SHUT IT!"
"No one dares talk back to me like that! What gives you the right?!" Austin countered.
"For one, I want you to know that this will be an interesting match cuz whoever loses… this will be their last match ever." Natsu replied calmly with his glare piercing through Austin with every single word.
Austin stood in his place looking at the crowd, who currently had a worried expression written all over their face.
"Hehe, well I accept your terms Pinky.. lets start." Austin stated while getting into his position.
"FIRE DRAGON'S ROAR!" Natsu yelled as the burning flames came out and headed toward Austin.
"Simple…" Austin had said as he held out his left hand and covered it in water. The flames hit the water and caused a smokescreen due to condensation to develop.
"What the?!" Austin said as he tried looking for the Fire Dragon Slayer, but it was too late. Natsu's apparition appeared before him and landed a Fire Dragon Iron Fist in his gut. In which, Austin was thrown back at least 20 feet back.
"You need to do better than that! Water Pegasus Hoof Kick!" Austin screamed out as he dashed toward Natsu and nailed him directly with the powerful pumps of water that shot out of Austin.
"You're good dude. But, I want you to know one thing."
"Oh? And you care to explain what it is?" Austin said with a smirk.
"From all the matches that I had, I always fought for my nakama and put my blazing passion into it to show off my true strength. And what I learned from this time, I figured out the person that gave me that strength hidden within me was one person, and that was Lucy!" Natsu said as he slowly got up from that previous attack.
I looked at Natsu's onyx eyes. They were full of regret and most importantly there was the sincere look that told me that he was not lying. This was the truth.
"Also, from the strength and power comes that incredible feeling called love. Luce- I mean,- Lucy Heartfilia, I love you and I totally messed up with that incident. What you didn't know was that Lisanna hypnotized us in order getting rid of you and you should know that we would NEVER abandon a nakama when in need. So please, we want, no need, you back in Fairy Tail with us!" Natsu said while looking up at me.
I stared there… What is this feeling? My heart is slowly pulling toward the man who loves me… Natsu….
"Huh?" As I stared at the two boys, I saw the tear coming down from my cheek… it reminds me of all the tears that were once shed in the Fairy Tail guild when all of my nakama protected me but the one picture in my head was glue throughout….
It was that genuine grin that Natsu always makes, the one that you could always could count on when all hope seems to be lost. At that time, I found myself smiling… one thing is true…
Fairy Tail will always be my home… the home where I believe that needs me the most right now…
"Oi Pinky, lets finish this with our last move. The one that decides everything." Austin said emotionless to Natsu.
"You're dead Pegasus boy." Natsu said as his eyes started glowing red. He was starting to seethe with anger and the flames surrounded his body as he started his ultimate move. It became a deadly match when it was quite noticeable that his normal body had taken up the attributes of a dragon such as the scales on the face as well as on his arms. Dragon Force was activated.
Austin on the other hand was starting to glow and shimmer blue along with his eyes with water surrounding his body and creating hand signs.
"Dragon Slayer Secret Art: Crimson Lotus: Exploding Flame Blade!" Natsu screamed as he charged at Austin.
"Pegasus Slayer Secret Art: Sapphire Storm: Colliding Water Whirlpool!" Austin countered back.
''IT'S ALL OVER!" Both of them screamed as I watched in horrification.
Only one thing was now on my mind as I then screamed the word that first came out, "NATTTTSSUUUU!"
I saw everyone stare at me but I didn't care… all I cared about the health about the two before me. As I tried to run there and the smoke all around I was surprised at the end. Standing there in the middle was an unconscious Austin and Natsu and in between was… LAXUS AND WENDY?! Along with Shouga?!
"Laxus, Wendy? What are you doing here and what did you do?" I asked him hurriedly.
"Sorry Luce. But we really wanted to see you once more." Laxus explained while looking away with a little blush.
Just as Laxus said that, Mira was coming out of the guild with Manny beside her.
"Laxus?" Mira whispered.
"Let me guess.. that's the one you were talking about earlier. The one you love, ne Mira?" Manny said with a soft smile.
"Yea… but what is he doing here?" Mira questioned aloud to the angel mage.
"Well when Luce first came to the guild, he was with her. We thought that he was her boyfriend but I'm not so sure now." Manny replied back.
"Well, maybe I should see what he thinks if I ask about his relationship!" Mira declared as she stomped off toward him.
"Laxus!" Mira screamed out as she was headed toward his direction.
"Eh? Mira?!" Laxus said as he turned even more red and was considering to walk away.
"Laxus. I have a question. Who do you love?" Mira said directly with a rather serious face.
"WHAT?! WAIT?! WHAT BROUGHT THIS UP NOW MIRA?" Laxus questioned rashly.
"Well, I've always loved you Laxus, but I wasn't sure about your feelings toward me. Plus, now even Manny knows.. so now I want a clear, cut response. Tell me now Laxus!" Mira pleaded.
"Umm.. Mira. I appreciate your confession but I would really need you to wait for a response." Laxus responded.
"Hai.." Mira shyly said as she walked back to the crowd of people with Manny by her side.
"And what exactly are you doing here Shouga?" I then questioned as I walked toward her.
" , it was I who stopped the battle. Also, the purpose of my appearance right before you is so that I am able to take you with me to Heavenly Phoenix Island." Shouga replied.
"EHHHH?!" Was what everyone in the crowd replied startled.
"Whats the matter everyone?" I questioned unaware of the reason everyone gasped.
Just then Master Bob showed up with the most serious face he's ever shown. Almost similar when he scolded Karen about how she should treat her spirits.
"What would you like with Lucy and why do you want to take her to Heavenly Phoenix Island, Shouga?" He questioned.
"You know her Master Bob? What's so bad about Heavenly Phoenix Island anyway?" I questioned.
"Yes, Shouga is- I mean was- a Blue Pegasus member. That is until she left suddenly and never returned until now. And this Heavenly Phoenix Island that you've been hearing about is our guilds holy ground where our founding masters grave lies. Now answer me Shouga, WHAT DO YOU WANT WITH LUCY?" Master Bob had questioned.
"It is quite simple Master Bob, I'm here to escort Ms. Lucy to the island so she will be able to train with the founding master and learn Pegasus Slaying Magic. After all, she is the chosen one to fight off the forces of the entire dark guild in all of Fiore. In addition, in order to perfect this art, she must train diligently with her for 3 years. So if you do not mind, we shall excuse ourselves." Shouga replied contently.
"THAT'S RIDICULOUS! We are so close to having Lucy being back into Fairy Tail!" Natsu groaned as he struggled in the effort of getting up from the ground.
"Sorry to say, but if I haven't stopped the match, the blonde fellow would've won without a doubt. Be thankful for not looking like a complete disgrace to your guild. I did you a favor. Lucy has higher expectations and potential than any of you Fairy Tail members, now see you all within time."
I looked at her and just felt the shock overcome my entire body. This was just way too much to take all in a single day.
I then look over to my Blue Pegasus team that was just as astonished bout the news and my old team of Fairy Tail that was just wrecked. Finally, I just start to feel my heart fasten and I just sprint over to Fairy Tails side.
"NATSSUUUUUU!" I screamed out, that is until I started to slowly lose consciousness.
It was Shouga, who used a magic that I've never seen before. Totally unrecognizable to my memories extent.
And soon, there was no one but her and I together. What will come happen to me next?
I deeply apologize to my viewers for this very,very, very late update on my story. Don't get me wrong, I love my story with a passion, but I always seemed busy and not available. So I will definitely keep track of this starting again today. I looked at my messages from some of my readers and I literally felt honored and just so loved by all of you guys that continue to support this story. Literally teared up to some of the reviews and messages that you guys sent me. I will make all your worries disappear with just having this story try and make the best it is able to in my abilities.
