"Again."

A sweaty body and long brown hair whipped back and forth as Nicole performed an Irish Whip on her opponent. Cody Runnels back smacked against the turnbuckle, not fazing him in the slightest.

"Again." The word was swift.

"What's the problem now?" Nicole asked, performing the maneuver on him once more. A loud rumble from back to turnbuckle bustled through the performance center.

"Nothing, just want you to practice." A bright smile formed on his face as he received an eye roll from the younger of the two.

"Gimme like 10 minutes." She sprawled out in the middle of the mat.

"Here." As Cody got out of the ring, he rolled a water bottle over to the diva. She simply raised it in the air as a signal of appreciation. Nicole sat up, legs straight and spread.

"What's up girl? Where you been?" Nicole didn't have to turn around to see who it was. The ring shook a bit as the man entered through the ropes.

"What do you want Joe?" She turned to the large Samoan, a smirk on her face.

"To wrestle you." He held a hand out to her. Hesitating, she grasped the kind gesture and was swiftly pulled to a standing position.

"You don't talk to me for a week and now all of a sudden you want to train with me?" She placed a manicured hand on her hip.

"You haven't talked to me! I've tried calling you. I don't even see you at the arenas."

It was true. She had been doing everything in her power to ignore the man. But wouldn't any sane person not want to get hurt?

"Well, we've both been busy with Wrestlemania." She quickly made an excuse as they locked up.

"Irish Whip." He watched as she bounced off the ropes and back to him. She went for a clothesline, which he ducked. She was gently put into an armbreaker by the large man.

"How have you been?" Changing the subject, she took her free hand and slapped the one that was currently in Joe's grasp, signaling for a reversal. His arm was now at her mercy. She watched as he winced a bit, and really locked it in. a sinister grin plastered to her face.

"Alright. Jess really is trying. How have you been? Hurricanrana." She ignored the first part, but obliged to the latter. They both went gracefully crashing down to the mat below them.

"Oh yeah? How's all that going?" Distain leaked through her words, which she didn't bother showing. She quickly removed herself from his grasp and slid out of the ring. A loud sigh rang through her ears.

"Look, I came here because I knew you'd be here and I wanna talk." Looking in the opposite direction, knowing he couldn't see her, she let a snarl cross her features.

"Talk." She didn't see him cast a somewhat dirty look in her direction.

"I've said a lot of things to you that might've led you on a little." It was Nicole's turn to let a dirty look cross her face. Her head whipped around as she stared in disbelief. But she listened as he continued.

"I'm still here for you no matter what, I just don't want things to be weird. I know you think the same thing I do. It was a stupid mistake." The look of disbelief long left her face. Instead a smile started to form.

"You're right. A stupid mistake. And things won't be weird. I promise." Nonchalantly, her shoulders shrugged. Nicole grabbed her gym bag before he could say another word, and walked out of the doors, letting them slam behind her.

The leggy brunette pulled her cell phone out of her purse once she got into her car. She quickly dialed a familiar number as the tears threatened to spill.

Xoxoxo

"You're cooking sucks." Nicole twirled her fork in the food in front of her. She looked up to see Jon Huber's expression. A middle finger. She slightly giggled but decided to go along with it.

"What's that mean?" Long brown hair spilled to her right as her head cocked in a confusing manner.

"It means fuck you." A smile started to form under his beard as he watched the woman in front of him start laughing.

"I was just kidding." A roll of the eyes sent her into another fit of giggles.

"I'm glad you're smiling again." Seriousness soon washed over her features. He watched on as she quickly looked down at the table.

"Forget I said that then! I don't wanna see you smile anymore." Jon raised his eyebrows, trying to get his point across. Sheepishly, she looked up at him and offered a small, sincere smile.

"You're fucking great." Nicole finally held her head high, shaking her head and giggling again. "Beer and tv?"

"Yeah, I'll be in inna minute." The Wyatt family member stood and grabbed the plates off the table, placing them in the sink.

"What do you wanna watch?" Nicole laid her petite frame down on the hotel couch.

"No no no. Make room, or get up." Jon towered over the couch intruder. He watched on as she crossed her arms in a mocking manner.

"I'm gonna pull a Bray Wyatt and deliver a Sister Abigail." He earned another laugh from the woman.

"I'm not moving. You have to make me."

"That can be arranged." As he went to pick her up, he heard his cell phone go off.

"Saved by the phone." He reached on the coffee table behind him and read the name.

"Baby mama, is that what you kids call it, is calling. I wouldn't answer it but she has my kid for the week." Nicole waved and stated she completely understood.

After about 5 or so minutes, Jon emerged from the kitchen.

"Everything okay?" Nicole sat up, leaning on her elbows.

"He has a little cold. Just keeping me up to date. (A/N: I know he has a kid, just don't know if it's a boy or girl or what the child's name is lol.)" Nicole watched as he placed the phone back on the coffee table.

"Now where were we?" Jon placed his hands on his hips as he walked towards her. Nicole burst into a fit of giggles, trying to ward him off by kicking her feet.

"You're like a child." Jon stopped in front of her. Catching her off guard, he hoisted her up over his shoulder.

"Put me down, NOW. If you want the damn seat so bad, take it." She punched his back as she stated a matter of factly.

"Oh, you want down? Okay." So he wouldn't hurt the poor woman, he bent down a bit before he dropped her on the floor. A successful laugh escaped his lips as he took his rightful spot on the couch. Like her, Jon sprawled his large frame out.

"You. Are. An. Asshole." Nicole stared at him in shock before she got up and jumped on top of him. A grunt left the mans voice, but he ultimately grabbed her in his grasp. Another grunt escaped his lips when she kicked his shin.

"Let me go!" Nicole squealed.

"God Almighty, you ARE a child." That preceded him to get another kick in his shin. Somehow, Nicole caught Jon off guard and flipped him onto his back.

"I'm in control now big man." The smaller brunette mocked in his face.

"I let your ass you take control." He smiled up at her. "You know if I wanted, I would beat your ass." He looked up at her in a sure manner. After quickly throwing her hair up, she reached behind her and grabbed his leg.

"1,2,3! I win! You lose!"

"Ah, you beat me." Jon rubbed his hands over his face in defeat. "You don't get anything as a prize though." Nicole watched as his shoulders shrugged. Neither of them said anything for a moment, trying to figure what the other one was thinking. Jon was the first to speak.

"You do realize I'm about to throw you on the floor again, right?" He watched in amusement, as the female on top of him shrieked a loud 'NO' in disproval and tried to scoot backwards. Luke Harper quickly grabbed her waist once her realized she was trying to get to the floor. The movements sent them both toppling down, ultimately leaving them in a flurry of limbs.

"I hate you so much!" A slap to the chest caused the large man to grab her wrist and pull her face to face with him.

"Say it to my face missy!" His eyes widened in that weird Luke Harper manner that only Luke Harper can master. Nicole leaned in, almost touching his nose, and said it again.

"I hate you." Her own eyes widened in a mocking mannerism.

"No you don't."

"You're right." The small woman quickly leaned in and placed her lips on his. She felt as he stiffened a bit, causing her to pull back.

"Oh my God, I was just in the moment. I'm so sorry. This is weird." Jumbles of words tried to escape her mouth. As she tried to get up, a large arm pulled her back. They stared at each other for a moment, giving Nicole a chance to calm back down. Butterflies started again, though, once she realized he was pulling her lips back to his.

"This is bad. Baaaaaaad." Nicole pulled back a little to make her statement.

"How?" Jon asked as he sat up, allowing her to straddle him. Her hands ran up and down his arms, not wanting to look into his eyes.

"Because nothing is going to come of this…and I don't wanna be hurt again. And you're my best friend. And this would be like me and Cody kissing. Weird." Jon put a hand behind her head, giving her no choice but to look at him. This time when their lips connected, something else washed over her. A feeling of comfort and relief. To know this person wasn't going to hurt her like Joe was a feeling of pleasure.

"If you honestly think this is a bad idea, leave now." The ultimatum that was given to her once they pulled apart sent shivers down her spine. "Because you and I both know it's not gonna stop here. I don't want you to regret anything. And I also don't want you to think that what happened with a certain guy, is gonna happen here. I wanna be more then what we have now."

"Me too." As the words left her mouth, she knew she was making an awful decision.
