The group walked in silence as they made their way through the cave. The ice and snow was gone and they were back to dirt and solid ground. As they reached an opening, they looked around to see the place covered with cave paintings. Sid was completely entranced.

"Look, look!" he said. "Tigers!"

The baby fussed in his arms as he looked at the pictures. The tigers in the pictures looked vicious as they attacked.

"No, it's okay", he said. "It's okay, look. The tigers are just playing tag with the antelope…"

He stopped when he saw the sabers biting down on the antelope.

"…with their teeth", he finished.

"Come on, Sid", Diego said circling him. "Let's play tag. You're it."

Sid chuckled nervously walking away. Frida looked at the cave paintings and softly gasped. Right in front of her was a cave drawing of her when she was a cub. She looked at the pictures of the little black cub on the cave wall.

"What's with you?" Diego asked noticing she stopped moving.

He looked at the wall and saw the drawing of a little black cub. He looked at the drawings watching the little black cub with its mother. The drawings showed the mother leaving the cub alone, running to the group of humans, getting killed. The cub walked to the humans where instead of dying, a human picked up the cub and hugged it.

Diego looked at Frida who had tears in her eyes.

"Mommy", she softly said looking at the pictures.

Frida blinked back her tears and looked down, trying not to let them see. Diego looked at her and put his paw on her shoulder. Frida turned to him and laid her head on his shoulder as she cried. He froze and looked at her, unsure of what to do. Sid and Manny watched them, and then turned away.

"Look, Manny", Sid said changing the subject. "A mammoth."

"Ooh", Manny said unimpressed. "Somebody pinch me."

"Hey, this fat one looks just like you."

Frida and Diego turned and looked at the picture on the wall. The drawing did look like Manny. He came back and took a look, freezing up just like Frida did.

"Aw, he's got a family", Sid said not paying attention. "And he's happy. Look, he's playing with his kid. See, Manny? That's your problem. That's what mammoths are supposed to do."

"Sid", Diego said noticing Manny's look.

"Find a she-moth, have little baby mammoths."

"Sid", Frida said.

"What?" he asked.

"Shut up."

The three of them watched Manny look at the pictures, looking lost in his memories. The looked at the pictures seeing the mammoth with a female and a baby mammoth. The baby ran around to its father, hugging him. He ran off and suddenly ran back as humans started following it. The humans ran, attacking the mammoths, killing the female and the baby.

Frida, Diego and Sid watched as many reach his trunk out and ran it across the picture of the baby. His trunk touched the baby's hand looking down at him. He picked up the baby and pulled it into a hug with a smile on his face and tears in his eyes.

"How sweet", Frida mumbled, laying her head on Diego's shoulder.

Diego froze again and looked at her. He was really not used to dealing with emotions, so this was all new to him. Manny put the baby on his back and walked out of the cave. Sid followed him with a smile, leaving Frida and Diego alone.

"You okay?" Frida asked looking at him.

Diego sniffed as tears came to his eyes. He never knew how sad Frida and Manny's pasts were. He said nothing as he walked off, following Manny and Sid. Frida followed him and gently nuzzled him for a moment to help him cheer up.
