I not sure, it just sort of happened one day. I didn't really realize where I was at first; the question of how the hell you wind up in the middle of some wintery woods rather than in your cozy bed is reasonable first thought, I think. I mean, my fingers were numb with frost, toes stupid with single-digit degrees, and testicles fighting the fangs of Cold's bite, so wondering how I got there was a fairly large pace in priorities. The fact I was stuck in my boxers didn't make that trek any smoother. I quickly figured that finding some warmth was my top priority; I know the worst that would've found me would've been death, but if I ain't against dyin' there's little else I can actually be motivated to do, you know? Maybe it was just the frozen straightjacket stabbing me as I got up, but I swore that those trees not only held pink foliage, but were deciduous at that. I couldn't say for sure what I though at this discovery, as the haze of days past already fogs those memories, but I imagine it was something along the lines of "Damn, those some tough trees."

I probably blamed the strange hue of their leaves to my half-dead state and moved on. Again, I apologize for being such a pussy in the face of death, but, I don't know, living is sort of enjoyable? I can't remember much after that (due to being half-ice) aside from how much worse than working tree-lot it was. I liked to sell the Christmas trees and tie them to peoples cars, but by god when you get so many customers in a chain you have to just keep your gloves off to keep tying them trees down to cars and it just feels like they're dead. You literally cannot feel your fingers. Not to mention they start to feel warm 'cause they are actually dying right before your eyes. Now, take the loss of touch and spread that liberally over your feet up to your thighs and you'll get an idea of how cold I was. (I'm not going to erase that, because I hate to waste eraser, but that felt like such poor writing just then).

Aw phooey, that's really about all I remember; Princess bubblegum had to have come at some point, I suppose, but I can't really say that I remember that.
