Before the two teens can notice them, the three adults retreat with grins on their faces and phones clutched in their hands. Returning to the campsite with glee, they are greeted with knowing looks.

"I'm assuming you found them," Roxy is the first to speak once they sit down.

"Of course, it isn't like they drove off or something," Meenah smirks.

"Soooooooo, show us what you got," Roxy giggles, walking up behind Meenah and peering over her shoulder at the two boys, giving a silent squeal as she grabs the phone and passes it to someone else.

"Are you sure they're not dating?" Kankri asks, looking at Roxy specifically.

She snorts, "I'm sure they're not 'officially' dating, but Karkles has eyed Sollux since the first day he was at school, despite the fact that he claimed that the bee-boy was annoying."

"When you say 'officially', what do you mean?" Latula questions, looking curiously at the blonde. Roxy gives a cheeky smile in response, looking ready to give a story telling, but before she could, Mituna interrupts her.

"Karkat thtayed at our houthe for almotht a week, and each night he ended up thleeping in the bed with Tholluckth, although not intentionally, hith shocked shout woke me up."

It silent for a few seconds before Meenah grins in an all-to-creepy way. "Ya know, we should really try to get them together now shouldn't we."

The others stare at her blankly for a few moments before Kankri joins her in mischief filled grins. Latula jumps up from her position on Mituna's lap, swinging an arm around Meenash's shoulders.

"I'm totally in!"

Rufioh sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose, "I'm all up for getting people together but do you think it's the slightest bit strange that we are trying to get two teenagers, well, one almost teenager, together?"

He earns mocked contemplation looks before he gives up, sighing once more before getting a knowing look from Horuss.

"You do realize Rufioh that they did almost the same thing to us though right," the mechanic says with a small almost nostalgic smile.

"Yes, which I can say was the best and worst time of high school," Rufioh snorts, resting his chin on his hand as he watches the others converse about the two teenagers currently sleeping in the back of a truck.

"But if you really think about it, they aren't so much different than how we were, and yet they're like on the opposite side of the colour spectrum," he continues, noticing the similarities in the way Karkat and Kankri interacted with people, thinking back to earlier in the day.

"Yeah, and yet after all of the time we haven't seen each other it's kind of like nothing changed, like we just took an extra long break from school and never went back," Rose comments, walking over to sit beside the two men. She looks at the others with a strange sort of fondness; looking at the two out of the corner of her eyes afterwords.

"That's a pretty accurate description actually, if you really think about it," Horuss chuckles.

The three of them are quickly noticed talking and Meulin runs over to hug the three of of them simultaneously. She grins widely, then sits back slightly to sign to them.

"Hi! I was reading your lips and yes, I agree that if you pay attention, you can notice little bits of our craziness mixed in with the younger generation, although, there is also their own mixture of craziness."

"Well, that's essentially how everyone is now isn't it," Rose laughs, returning the hg Meulin gave her, earning a sheepish smile in response.

"Hello chaps! I see you've decided not to join in the plans to get the crab and bee together," Jake greets, winking at them before sitting beside Rose.

"Well me and Rufioh have already experienced the horror of matchmaking and decided it would be better for all of us not to get involved," Horuss explains, then sending a glance over at Rose, asking for an explanation.

"I'm merely observing from afar, I honestly think the two of them will end up together without me even trying, just like your boy and Gamzee," she waggles her eyebrows at Rufioh, who merely nods in agreement. They look over at the teens who are similarly passed out on top of each other, Gamzee's head resting on Tavros's stomach and gripping the edge of his shirt as he slept.

"I believe the same!" Meulin grins in excitement.

"Hm, it's gotten pretty late hasn't it," Aranea notes, joining their small group after having listened to the others scheme for awhile, "Don't you need to teach tomorrow?"

"No, the schoolboard has a meeting so the school will not regain session until Friday, which I'm sure many students will be glad about."

"I bet Tavros and them will be glad, they have to perform a song for their class; they're nervous about it despite the fact that it sounds amazing when they practice," Rufioh smiles, recounting the few times he's been able to listen to them.

"Really? What sort of song?"

"Some band they all like, the song, from what I can tell, is called 'Don't You Dare Forget the Sun,' and cod damn they are good, the kids anyway, I don't understand why they're nervous."

"Oh yes, that was one of Jades assignments I believe, she told me they were going to be playing something for their project, she's told me how good they are, I wish I could listen to them though," Rose comments, looking thoughtful.

"They recorded themselves the first time they played it together actually, I bet it's still there," Rufioh says quickly, realizing that they did actually record themselves. Rose looks contemplative before smiling lightly.

"That would be nice, if you will excuse me, I am going to talk to the others about something," She says with a small smile, standing up and walking away. Jake follows after her as he caught her eye.

The three left sitting there give small smiles in response and look at each other.

"It's been an interesting day hasn't it." Rufioh sighs, feeling nostalgic as he stares up at the sky.

"Yeah, not in a bad way though, in the best way possible!" Meulin signs energetically, broadly grinning at him. The listen to the others laughing and talking for a few moments before Rufioh gives a short chuckled laugh.

"Yeah, sure has."
