Thea called Oliver in the middle of the night. She asked him to meet her at basement of the mall. He didn't want to wake Felicity up, she deserved the rest and also he had to do this on his own. When he got there the place was abandoned. He still used caution when he entered the basement, he didn't know her anymore, didn't know the extent of her malice towards him. Sooner or later he had to talk to her, she is his key home and he needed to go home to save her.

As Oliver walked down the stairs he noticed Merlyn's earthquake machine. Probably the same one he was tracking yesterday. Ten years ago yesterday. Is this their big plan? To level the city again? Honestly Merlyn don't you have other plans?

"I know you're there." Oliver looking over his shoulder.

"Of course you do. The ever popular and elusive Arrow." Thea came out of the shadow. "Tell me how do you like your life here Ollie? Perfect house, perfect wife, perfect children, perfect friends."

"How did you know?"

"That was easy, the look on your face when I shot you. You didn't even get up. Pathetic"

"Not all my life is perfect."

"Aw right, there's Roy, Laurel, Mia. Damn I forgot you haven't met Mia yet have you. Don't worry you will proud of that one, like the sister you never had."

"What are you talking about?"

"Didn't Felicity tell you about them? Tsk tsk tsk. Always trying to protect you that one. Roy's a junkie Ollie. He couldn't live up to the pressure and standards that it takes to be the next Arrow and it's entirely your fault. Laurel, oh you did a number on her didn't you. Say you love her then sleep with her sister, come back from the island, say you live her again and sleep with her sister again. Now she's gone all loony and dresses up in fishnets."

"It's not perfect because I don't have you in my life Speedy."

"DON'T CALL ME THAT" Thea shouted. "I am not your speedy. I am…"

Oliver heard Thea's voice break and could see the tears in her eyes now. Seeing her cry always made him want to cry, this time was no different.

Thea swallowed hard and straightened herself out before she continued. "Two hours from now, several cities around the world are going to be destroyed. Nanda Parbat, Starling, Gotham, Metropolis, Central city, Coast city, Blue Valley, Smallville and Hub city. Millions of people are going to die and nobody can do anything about it."

"Why?"

"To punish the heroes of the world. To let them know loss so that they will fight harder to save everyone. For them to take action and govern the world so that people can walk the streets without fear of being raped robbed or killed. To stop the senseless war going on now, prevent the child soldier from ever coming to be. They have great power and yet they let people die anyway." Thea said it as if it was rehearsed, not her words.

"You believe this? You, Thea Queen, believe that this is the solution. Killing millions of people to change the world? You can't believe this! After all we went through with mum and the Glades that killed 503 people including Tommy, your brother. Nearly killing Roy. You can't believe this!" Oliver pleaded.

Thea looked up at him without flinching as tears ran down her face and answered. "I don't."

Oliver ran to her pick her up in his arms and held her. He kept repeating the words " I didn't loose you." to her over and over again while tears ran down both their faces. She hugged him back.

About a minute into their embrace, Thea pushed him away and explained. "I didn't know Ollie, I swear I didn't know what he was planning. By the time I knew, it was too late. He acquired the technology from the future. I have left you a video massage in the past and made sure you will receive it when the time is right. You will have to undo this. All of it. Especially me. You have to come for me this time, you have to save me and KILL Malcolm. I have done some terrible things Ollie, I can't even…"

"Shhh it's okay, I will fix this, I will fix it all. You just have to send me back. Where is the time machine?"

"I destroyed it, so Merlyn can't use it anymore."

"Then how-"

"I have to kill you."

"Thea."

"I have done it before, I went back, got stuck and someone killed me, the next thing I know, I am back where I am suppose to be. Trust me Ollie."

Oliver hesitated he remembered the things Felicity has been telling him about Thea. This could all be a lie and just so she could get close enough to kill him. But if she wanted to kill him, she could've have done it in the afternoon. Felicty didn't see what he saw; she is still his sister and the only left to do is to take a leap of faith.

"Before, why did you shoot me?" Oliver asked

"What? To find out if you were past Oliver or present Oliver. I don't usually apologize for shooting people but I'm sorry."

"Okay, I'm trusting you." Oliver said as he took off his jacket and stood in front of Thea.

Thea drew her gun and pointed it at Oliver's chest. "Goodbye Ollie." Just as she squeezed the trigger a hand hit her arm and the gun jerked to the side.

"NO!" Felicity pushed Thea on the ground and ran to Oliver. The bullet had hit Oliver's chest just shy from his heart but all she could see was blood. "No no no, Oliver, please don't leave me." She pressed her hands into his abdomen trying to stop the bleeding. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?" Felicity screamed at Thea.

"It's okay Felicity, it will all be okay." Oliver put his hand in her hand.

"You can't leave me, I love you, you hear me. I have loved you for a long time, even ten years ago." Tears ran down Felicity's cheeks like running water.

"I love you too and I promise you, we will have this life. You, me, Ellie and Conner, only even better with-" Oliver was choking on blood and could barely speak now as the life drained out of him.

"No" was all Felicity could say as she pressed her forehead against his. He felt so cold to her touch. A split second later, he was gone.

"His dead" Thea declared not quite believing it.

Epilog

Felicity heard a sharp ringing sound coming from some distance away. Her eyes jerked open but her body felt so heavy so emotionally drained. She didn't know how to tell her children that their father was gone. It took a minute for her to register her surroundings. She is back in her room and it is morning. The last thing she remembered was Thea killing Oliver, Oliver dying in her arms. How is she here, her head moved slowly to the space next to hers, relief flushed through her entire body, he is here, sleeping next to her. She reached out to touch him, a confirmation that he is alive. Oliver took her wrist and pulled her to the other side where he was facing and held her.

"Good morning Mrs. Queen." Oliver said as he nestled her neck.

"You're alive." Felicity said as tear prickled her eyes. She turned to face him.

"Hey, of course I'm alive, I'm right here Felicity, I'm here and all yours." Oliver held her closer.

"Good, don't every leave me and stay away from Thea." Felicity shed tears she thought dried up.

"It was just a dream. It's okay. What's Thea got to do with it?" Oliver went from comforting to confused.

"Where is she?"

"She's at home with Roy I think, they will be babysitting for us tonight. We have to host a ball remember?"

"So she's not evil and I never put her in jail?"

"No of course not, aside from you, she is the best Queen I know. That must have been a really bad dream."

"Yeah horrible."

Then came knocks on the door.

"Tell me about it later, okay? It's the little monsters zoo day, we have postponed one too many times" Oliver said as he got up, put on his pants walked to open the door. "You might want to cover up before they come in." He tossed Felicity's nightgown to her.

"Thanks, Oliver? "

"Yeah."

"I'm glad we're here." Felicity said as she dressed, wiping the tears from her face.

"I made you a promise didn't I?"
