Lenalee stood in front of Elvira's hospital room door,a trembling hand on the doorknob. What would welcome her,or torture her,when she opens that door? she didn't want to imagine. She wanted to let go of the cold metal doorknob and leave. But she couldn't. A part of her was screaming for her to twist it and see how her 'little sister' was doing. Up until then,she felt a familiar feeling when she saw Elvira. She's happy and somewhat short tempered but Lenalee saw the truth beyond her eyes. She reminds her of herself. Before she decided to put the past behind her. Cold,lonely,and scared. Very scared. Lenalee wanted to help her. She wanted her to let go of those heavy burdens. And so,she made her choice. She clutched the doorknob,twisted and walked into the room. yyIn front is Elvira,connected with a hundred machines,beeping in many sounds. Yet she was sitting on the bed,the gas mask hanging from her neck and her hand over her eyes. The tears on Lenalee's eyes fogged over the fact that there's cold sweat on Elvira. " ELVIRA! " she shouted and embraced her,two streams of tears running down her eyes. As her arms wrapped around Elvira,she couldn't help but find that her body was cold. It was shivering. In a whim,she retracted but her hands didn't leave Elvira's shoulders. " Elvira-chan... are you okay?" She said with knitted eyebrows. What Elvira said did not match her body language by one bit. " I'm alright. " she said with a smile, " just a bit tired... " Lenalee would've suspected her if she weren't so relieved that she was okay. What her brother found in her body was deadly. Too much for a normal human body.

Lenalee saw that her brother looked confused but she didn't say a word about it.

" Lenalee... chan... " she heard Elvira's voice and snapped back to reality.

" Y-Yes? "

" You're crying... " Elvira said and used a cold finger to wipe it away.

" Ah... it's nothing. You lie down a bit. I-I'll get Komui nii-chan and te others. " she said and gently pushed Elvira didn't fight back and laid down as she was told and closed her eyes. After covering her with a blanket,Lenalee went out the room,furiously wiping her tears away. Komui was not having a good day. Not only the specimen of the poison in Elvira's body was gone mysteriously,he had at least fifteen stacks of paper that were as high as he was waiting to be signed. With a heavy sigh,he got back to work. But his mind was somewhere else. Before the specimen disappeared,he found that the Akuma blood oil was diluted with water,poison,anomia,sulphuric acid and many more chemicals that would've kill a human before it could reach the stomach yet there were also chemicals that subdued the poisonous effects. So in conclusion,it was a poison made for pain and suffering,not death. The thought made Komui unconsciously rip his pen through the bottom right of the paper and oak table,creating a light but permanent scar on the wooden surface. He was about to swing his hands at the stack of paper until Lenalee swung open the door,shouting his name. " Komui nii-chan! Quick! " she said and before he knew it,he was dragged across the floor,his right hand almost being torn by his sister's sudden pull.

" Le-Lenalee-chan! Slow down! " he shouted while trying to keep up with her speed.

" What is it?! " then he saw her tears and smile and understood. Elvira was alright. He couldn't hear his sister's sentence as his thoughts wandered. How? How was she managed to do it?

Whilst being slightly dragged,he caught a glimpse of red hair. He craned his head to the back,knowing who to expect and nodded with an ecouraging smile. the boy knew the silent communication and ignoring the stack of books he dropped out of shock,Lavi followed them. Elvira cursed under her breath. Under her pillow was a slip of paper and a vial. the vial made her sick because of the black sluggish liquid inside. She took a shaky breath and read the cursive and thin writing on the paper. Something to hide your debt,Neko-chan. It's fake of course. Tyki Mikk The thought of that man made Elvira's blood run cold. Debt. She owes him. For what? Then it hit her. Clutching her stomach,she curled slightly and scrunched her eyes shut. That bastard took it out. He took out the damned poison. 'To hide' is for her to make sure everyone didn't know the truth. She needed to throw this somewhere. Somewhere where Komui couldn't take any specimen and find that it's fake. Holding the vial,She walked towards the toilet. But when she got to her feet,her knees buckled. If it wasn't for the support of her bed railing,she might've landed on her face and break the vial.

" Damn... " She cursed and walked slowly,her right hand on the wall. Her stomach still churned a little but considering that it's been 3 days since she got poisoned,it was natural her stomach needed food.

" ... I've gotten soft. " she thought to herself " 3 days used to be nothing. A week without food was just a small problem. That's what you get for being pampered. "

When she finally reached the toilet,she heard footsteps. Loud and fast. Shit. With hasty hands,she bit the cork off and dumped the contents into the water. She froze when she remembered a detail and left a few drops on her hand. When she heard the door opening,her heart raced and she began her act. She coughed as best as she could and smeared the black liquid below the corner of her lips,covering her hand and letting the liquid flow through the gaps of her fingers. She felt a hand on her back and opened her eyes,opening it slightly. With the cold sweat she has,it was easy to fool the trio. " Elvira-chan! " Lenalee said worriedly as she saw the black on her fingers and the toilet. She looked pale and sick.

Komui's eyes were on what was in the toilet. Diluted like that,he couldn't be able to get anything. But what was important was that Elvira was safe. He kneeled down and held the black-stained hand away from her mouth.

" Are you okay? " He asked,his eyebrows scrunched.

With a weak nod and tired eyes,she showed her usual smile, " Yes... I think this is al- " she said and suddenly collapsed.

Lenalee managed to catch her and the coldness of Elvira's body made her shudder in fear. " Elvira. Elvira! "

She shook as she shook her. " I'm... ok... tired... " Elvira said and without much of a thought,Lavi also kneeled and grabbed Elvira.

" It's alright. She's just tired. Well,anyone would. " he said and picked her up bridal style like while on their train ride.

Lenalee and Komui stood with him and Komui spoke " Lenalee. "

" Yeah? " Lenalee said,her voice etching with a hint of surprise.

" Get a wet towel to wipe Elvira's mouth and fingers,and please do flush whatever's in the toilet, " He said with a smile

" I need to do preparations to see if all the poison is removed. "

" Yes. " Lenalee said and got to work while Komui left the room. Lavi sat on the side the side of the bed,gazing at Elvira's sleeping form. Without the black liquid on her lips,she would've looked cute. Pretty even. When he snapped out of his daydream,he found out that he was staring at her. Immediately averting his eyes,he stood up and saw the bucket filled with warm water and soaked towel Lenalee was holding.

" Here,let me help. "

" Ah,but- "

" You wouldn't want your poor brother to do all the preparations himself right? " He said with his usual cheeky smile.

" I suppose you're right... " Lenalee said and handed him the bucket, " Please be careful of the poison. If it did THAT to Elvira,I wouldn't imagine your condition. "

" Aww,come on. I'm not that weak,am I? " He teased but Lenalee was already out of the door. Lavi set the bucket of water down and squeezed any excess water from the soft towel and started to wipe off the black liquid from Elvira's hand. Apparently,the thing was thick because it took Lavi 3 times of soaking the towel in water to remove everything. By then the water had a grayish hue. Yikes. When he started to smear off the poison on her lips,he couldn't help but gaze at her lips. But his fantasy was broken when he madly shook his head. " Get a hold of yourself! You're a Bookman for God's sake! " Getting the last bit of black from her,he threw the water into the sink and ran out of the room,trying to get rid of whatever was lingering at his heart. As the door clicked closed,Elvira eyes opened. A breath escaped her lips and she sat up. Taking out the note and now empty vial from the pocket of her dress,he red the message over and over again. Something to hide your debt,Neko-chan. It's fake of course. Tyki Mikk Elvira scrunched the piece of paper and buried her head into the pillow,shouting silently. When she finished pouring all her frustrations and anger and shame with that silence scream,fatigue came over her and immediately,she collapsed,her fist still clutching the note.

(I have no idea how to continue this drama so let's just skip it to when she's ok.)

It's been a week since Elvira got admitted out of the accursed silent hospital room. Her stomach didn't twist,her eyesight was alright and no trance of the poison was found. Immediately,she took on a mission.

" Elvira,I know your in a rush but you just recovered. You still need rest. " Komui said through the piles of paper. No need to explain about the unbelievable mess anymore.

" Don't forget Komui. I'm an assassin. I'm not your average hu- "

" You WERE an assassin. Now you're a exorcist. No matter how strong your body is,you're still human. You're not a superhuman. "

"'I'm a monster. " She wanted to say,but she let it roam only in her mind. With a click of her younger,she walked out of the office,slamming the door. Komui sighed and quietly whispered to himself " Here we are all monsters. "

As Elvira stomped down the hallway,her thoughts raced. What would happen if she encounter Tyki again? What would happened if it's another Noah? What if they're the same as Tyki? Her body shuddered at the thought. She was so concentrated in thinking she didn't see a certain white head bumping into her.

" Oof! " the sound escaped her lips when she hit the boy. The train of thoughts immediately got cut away when she saw what she did.

" Ah. Sorry! " She said and saw that the boy she bumped into was Allen,the one Kanda said cried over a doll and Lavi said was almost cut in half if it wasn't for Lenalee. Somehow he was shorter than she was... even by half an inch it was kind of awkward...

" It's alright. I was daydreaming and got lost. " He said with a generous smile. Then Elvira noticed that there was a huge red scar on his face.

" Me too but I'm not lost. Where are you going? I can take you there. "

" The cafeteria. I'm famished. " he said and his stomach growled as if a wolf lived in there.

" I thought you went there before. You know with the fight with Kanda. " she said as they walked down the halls.

" I knew. But unfortunately,I'm always lost... " he said with a sweat drop on his forehead.

" Next time I recommend another human. "she joked and notice that Allen was looking at her. " Erm... yeah? "

" You eyes. " Allen said,his eyebrows knitted," I can't figure out what color are they. "

Elvira chuckled a little " That's what made me a successful assassin. The crowd focuses too much on eyes and are never able to guess who killed their precious money source and slave source. "

" Assassin? " Allen asked.

" You don't know do you. Expected of Kanda and Lavi. I was an assassin since I was a kid. I don't even remember when or how. I just woke up in a slum pavement with these in my hands. " she said and showed the blades on her belt," That is,until Akuma tried to kill me and Lavi and Kanda brought me here of course. "

" That was rough... I was a clown once. "

Elvira almost choked on her own spit " Clown? "

" Yeah. I was always traveling with Mana. He was my guardian,but I like to call him my real father. It's funny actually. How fate can be as cruel as to twist peoples lives up like this... " Allen said with a distant look on his face.

" Em... " Elvira hummed. Suddenly she found herself in a dark hallway she never seen. " Where are we? " she asked and turned around. Behind and in front of her were only wall lights,shining dimly.

" I don't know... "

" Shit! We went the wrong way?! "

" It's your fault! " Allen immediately blamed her.

" Hah?! Who was the one who was lost in the first place?! " Elvira shouted at the boy. There is in hell no way she's taking the blame.

" You were suppose to guide me! So why am I to blame?! " Elvira had no comeback and just groaned in annoyance.

" I swear I have the worst luck in the world! Whatever. Let's just find a door or whatever and get out of here. " She said and touched the walls. The lights were barely enough to light a millimeter around them. She heard a mutter and looked back. Instead of a normal arm he used to have,Allen has a giant claw replacing it.

" What the- Why are you- "

" Wierdly innocence emits light. See. " he said and sure enough,the cross on his claw was emitting a green eerie light. Though it was kinda creepy,Elvira was grateful and took out her blades. They were also emitting light.

" What do you know. These things do more than killing. " She said and threw one of them in a distance. A flash of gray shone halfway and Elvira pulled the blade back. " There's a door nearby. Let's go. " Elvira said and walked,one of her hand on the wall. Allen followed,unsatisfied that a girl was leading him. And taller than him. He hoped he won't be called Beanstalk later. When she felt a cold door handle,Elvira shone the blade in front of her. A sign in front of the door says Storage room,but the cobwebs and yellow and black strips says other wise.

"You sure we should open that?" " No idea but when you live in a world with monsters anything is worth trying. " She joked,but cold sweat was coming out of her cheeks and she was trembling a little. Something in this room is giving her goosebumps. " Maybe we could find something to get us out of here. " and opened the door. " You see anything?" Allen asked as he followed Elvira in a distance. " Nothing useful. " she said and her eyes averted to a folded machine with tentacles and a very,very familiar barrette. " I think I found something. "

" What is it? " Allen asked and approached her. His eyesight didn't work well so all he saw was the blades emitting light dimly through her belt.

" A robot I think. I think I found the on button. Weird barrette covering it. "

" Barrette?! " A thought struck Allen" Elvira don't- "

Too late. The robot came to life and metal tentacles wrapped around Elvira's torso and arms. " What the fu-! " Her voice was muffled when one of the tendrils covered her mouth. " Shit... " Allen sweat dropped and backed away when he saw the red light. " ENEMY SPOTTED. ENGAGE BATTLE. " Komurin VI said and in a millisecond,Allen ran out of the storage room,The robot chasing him and Elvira struggling to break free and wanting to slash the machine into a million pieces. Sounds of crashing can be heard in the Science division office. The tray of coffee Lenalee was holding was vibrating as the ground trembled a little. There was only two possibilities that could cause these quakes since earthquakes can't be felt here. The Noahs have came to attack. Or a Komurin has attacked. And since there was only one scream and a robotic voice,it was a robot. Thw whole Science Dovision went into frenzy and dragged Komui outside of the office,questioning him halfway through the journey. When they stopped and saw the gigantic robot,everyone froze. THIS they have never seen before. " KOMUUUUIIIIIIII! " Allen shouted as he was wrapped in metallic tentacles,Elvira on the other side of the robot,giving a death glare to Komui as she tried to free her arms. " Komurin VI?! I thought I hid you! " Komui shouted louder than he should and every single one if the science division glared at him. Reever punched him in the head" YOU IDIOTIC BASTARD! THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THIS MONTH!" he shouted with anger as Komui lied on the floor,his butt on the air. " S-sorry... " he whimpered and immediately regained his composure " But I hid it nicely,so no one should know of it. " Elvira managed to get the stupid metal from her mouth and screamed at Komui " EITHER YOU STOP THIS THING OR I KILL YOU! " before the robot averted it's head at Elvira.

" THREAT UNSTABLE. STABILIZE. " Komurin VI's robotic voice rang and Elvira saw a fingered tentacle holding a syringe, and her body tensed.

" Komui... " Elvira's instinct started to kick in and the needle slowly approached her.

" That's a tranquilizing liquid. Don't worry you'll just be unconscious for the next six hours. "

" Ho? " a vein popped on her forehead as she gripped her blades, " But that makes a six-hour waste of KILLING YOU! " she said and the mtal arms confining her movements were cut with a slash. Every finger,even the syringe on Komurin VI's arm was cut into slices the thickness of a pencil,metal clashing with the ground as a dark figure climbed onto its head.

"Hi-Hiii! I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry!" Komui knelt and pleaded,tears flowing out of his eyes. Elvira approached him,her hands still gripping tightly on the blades and soon she was one step from killing Komui. Everyone wanted to stop her but her aura was so terrifying that they all froze on spot.

Elvira let her blade drop and punched Komui on the head. The blow was painful,throbbing and fasinatingly full of stars but Komui tilted his head up,surprised that his limbs were intact. Elvira looked angry and annoyed though.

" These annoying piece of shits, " She said as she pointed at the pile of thin sliced metal( How does she do that?! Koumei asked) "I better not see them anymore. GOT IT. " She said and gave shivers to Komui's spine.

" Y-Yes! " Komui stuttered and got to his feet and bowed. Sighing,Elvira pouted.

For once,all the fear and depression was gone. For now.
