I can't believe this is the last chapter, I hope you like how I end the story.

It was the afternoon of the following day when the doctors finally okayed me to leave the hospital. Kyoya had brought me a periwinkle tunic shirt and some black sweat pants which I gratefully changed into.

It felt so nice to not be wearing soiled clothes or a hospital gown and to be in something soft and light wight that felt comforting on my cuts and bruises, especially the cuts on my back that really hurt.

The cut that my captor had given my to make me scream in order to lure Kyoya into hids trap had required almost thirty stitches and was really sore.

"Are you almost done?" Kyoya called through the door of my hospital room.

"Yes, I'm done. You can come in now," I said as I finished straightening my shirt.

Kyoya came in and looked my over. I searched his eyes for some trace of emotion but that remained hard with a hint of indifference. "How do you feel?" he asked after surveying me from head to toe.

"Sore," I answered with a grimace.

Kyoya gave a hint of a smile before offering me his arm saying, "let's get you to the Kazahara's so you can rest and put Mrs. Kazahara at ease." I nodded in answer and let Kyoya guide me out of the hospital.

When we exited the hospital, a blond streak shot across the street and would have barreled into me if Kyoya hadn't put out his arm to stop it. "What are you doing here, Tamaki?" Kyoya said coldly, glaring down at the host who had been knocked onto his rear.

"I came to see how Madoka is doing. The second I heard that she was kidnapped I gathered everybody up and rushed over here to see how she is," Tamaki said with a little whine in his voice.

"I'm fine I said," looking at Tamaki. "I'm a little sore and tired but I'm fine."

"Oh, what a brave girl you are!" Tamaki said as he got up to to hug me.

"Out of the way, idiot," the twins said pushing Tamaki away as they joined us.

The twins stood in front of me, looking me over with a critical eye. "What?" I asked feeling uneasy under their gaze

"Oh, it's nothing," Hikaru started.

"We just wanted to know," Kaoru continued.

"What those men did to you," they finished together. "You're still a virgin, right?"

"Of course I am!" I said with blazing red cheeks as I pushed the twins away. "You two are insensitive jerks for asking that!"

"We were just curious," the twins replied in a bored tone.

"Devils!" I mumbled.

"Madoka chan! Are you okay? Did those men hurt you?" Hunny asked anxiously from his perch on Mori's shoulder as they and Haruhi joined the group.

"I'm fine, Hunny," I replied sweetly. "I have a few cuts and bruises but they'll heal."

Hunny grinned happily and Haruhi said in his straight forward manner, "Madoka, I'm glad you made it out of this safely."

"Thanks," I answered with a smile.

As I said this a limo pulled up. "Time to go, Madoka," Kyoya said opening the door.

"See you guys later," I sad as I started to get into the limo.

"Why don't you stay and play with us?" the twins said as the wrapped their arms around me.

I let out a small cry of pain as their hands pressed against the cut on my back. The moment the cry of pain left my mouth Kyoya, in a swift movement, pulled me away from the twins and gently held me protectively in his arms as he said, "think idiots! Madoka is in no condition to mess around, she has stitches on her back."

The twins mumbled their apologies as Kyoya pushed me into the car, getting in behind me and swiftly telling the driver to go.

"Thank goodness you're alright," Mrs. Kazahara cried as she tenderly hugged me. "If I had been more careful then this wouldn't have happened."

"It's not your fault," I said as I hugged her back. "I should have been more wary of Nadare but I trusted him to easily."

"All's well that ends well," she said as she wiped tears out of the corners of her eyes.

"You don't have to worry anymore," Mr. Ohtori said from his seat on the couch, "I had my men put Nadare, Doton, and their boss behind bars with the rest of their men. They won't be able to do anything now."

"That's good," I murmured as I sat down on a couch.

"You've had a long day, Madoka. Why don't you go to bed while I call your parents and tell them you're all right?" Mrs. Ohtori said quietly and kindly.

"Thank you," I said as I got up.

"I'll come with you," Kyoya said shortly as he got up from his seat. I nodded and together we went back to our room.

When we got there, I sat down on the bed before lying down on my stomach and groaning as I softly touched the stitches on my back.

"Does it hurt?" Kyoya asked as he sat down beside me.

"Yes," I moaned as I put my hands under my face.

"Here, this should help with the pain," as he said this, Kyoya rolled up my shirt and started putting some cream on my back.

I blushed before saying, "what are you doing?"

"I'm putting some ointment on your back, it should help ease the pain and help you back to heal more quickly."

"Okay," I murmured submissively as I let Kyoya rub the ointment onto my back.

Although this was comforting, some tension remained in in my body as I tried in vain to completely relax.

After fiveish minutes, Kyoya stopped and I sat up. "Thank, I feel better now."

Kyoya gave me a small smile," no problem."

Silence followed and I hesitantly cleared my throat and said, "um, thank you for saving me yesterday."

Kyoya glanced at me out of the corner of his eyes before saying, "I was only doing my duty." Then he looked at me as he ran his finger gingerly over the cuts on my lips saying, "I only wish I had gotten there sooner."

I looked at him in surprise. 'Is that a hint of remorse in his eyes?' "Kyoya?" I asked a little sheepishly. Whatever had been in his eyes vanished as my voice brought him back to reality.

We stared in silence at each other for a minute, then Kyoya slowly put his arms around me and pulled me to his chest.

"Kyoya, what are you doing?" I whispered in surprise at this uncharacteristic motion.

"You haven't said a word about what happened when you were kidnapped. Cry now, let all your feelings out so that the wound they made can can begin healing and we can move forward."

I stiffened. Kyoya had read me like an open book but then, my lower lip quivered for a second and I gave into my girlish desire and cried into the safety and comfort of Kyoya's embrace.

As I cried my heart out, Kyoya quietly sat there, gently stroking my hair. I hadn't seen this soft side of Kyoya before and as my tears started to ebb so did all the pain from the ordeal I had just under gone.

I pulled back and looked at Kyoya, when we first got engaged I hadn't loved him one bit, but now I found his presence comforting and reassuring. Sure there still are some things about him that I don't understand but I still have the rest of high school to get to know him.

I pulled out of my thoughts as I felt Kyoya put his arm around my shoulder. I looked at him as he whispered, "I won't let anyone hurt you again." Then he softly cupped my face in his hand and kissed me.
