Honey sat on the bed, looking around the dark room. He hoped the others were okay and he genuinely hoped he could talk some sense into Haruhi. The door opened and he looked over to it, his head snapping in its direction. Haruhi entered it calmly, turning around and closing the door.
"Haru-chan!" Honey grinned and ran over to her, hugging her firmly.
Haruhi looked down at him, her eyes wide, "Honey."
He looked up confused and removed himself from her, "What's wrong?"
She shook her head and walked over to the bed, sitting on the edge, then patted the spot next to her. He followed and sat down in the place she had motioned to. His caramel brown eyes watched her with a deep concern.
"Haru-chan?"
She stayed quiet for awhile, looking at her lap. Her eyes met his and his became even more clouded with confusion. Her lips parted but no sound came out.
"I...I'm not proud," she murmured quietly.
Honey tipped his head and looked at her quizzically, "Not proud of what?"
"What I've done.."
"Haru-chan, you don't know what you're talking about."
She looked at him, "Yes I do."
"No, there's so much you don't know."
"Oh? And you do?" Her anger was flaring slowly.
"Haruhi, calm down.." Honey whimpered quietly, scooting away from her.
She stood and walked over to the window, her back to him.
"Haruhi, please, I need to talk to you. I'm sorry…"
Her hand went up and wiped her face.
"...Are you crying, Haru-chan?"
"N-No.." she replied brokenly.
Honey appeared next to her, hugging her tightly, "I didn't mean to make you cry, Haruhi…"
She sniffled and hugged him back, "You didn't Honey.."
Honey smiled slightly, "I need to tell you something, Haru-chan, and I don't know how you'll take it.."
"What is it?"
"I found out while I was travelling with the others, that we are related.."
"Really? That's cool," Haruhi smiled softly.
"You're actually my little sister."
"That makes me Chika's older sister right?"
Honey choked quietly, his emotions reacting harshly to the sound of his departed brother. The tears rolled freely, dripping onto the floor.
"Honey, what's wrong?" Haruhi asked concerned, wiping away his tears.
He began to sob, resting his head on her shoulder, "Ch-Chika's gone, Haru-chan! They killed him!" he cried loudly.
"What? Who killed him?" Haruhi asked alarmed.
He sniffled and shook his head, not going to say it.
