"Crap..." Brendan moaned, "Looks like the snow's gonna keep us here for a while..."
"I guess we can just try to relax here until the snow stops..." Wally said in reply. Perhaps, at least in his mind, this could be a good thing. At least he could spend some more time with his two best friends, Brendan and May – especially May, the girl whom he'd had a crush on for a long time.
He let out a loose cough. May immediately took notice and asked, "Wally, are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine." Wally responded, despite the fact that he was starting to feel a bit weak.
"Really?" she asked, placing the back of her hand against his forehead, "Because you feel awfully warm..."
"Really, I'm fine..." he attempted to reassure her, but failed when he started to wobble a little.
"Hmm... I'd feel better if you layed down," she replied, leading him over to the couch.
Wally layed down on the sofa, feeling much better now that he was off his feet.
"May... I feel a bit cold," he said to his friend.
"Okay," she responded, taking a blanket off the arm of the sofa by Wally's feet and spread it out over his body.
Then, a thought came to May's head, "Hey, how 'bout I make you some soup. I bet that will make you feel better."
"Yeah. That sounds good." he responded.
"Aww, crap..." Brendan moaned from the kitchen.
May sighed, "What is it now?"
"My PokéNav is broken again..." Brendan replied.
May walked over to where Brendan was in the kitchen and noticed his broken PokéNav lying in the microwave.
May let out another annoyed sigh, "You tried to charge your PokéNav in the microwave again?!"
Brendan nodded embarrassedly.
And then, they started arguing. Wally began to feel a bit more sick, most likely due to the stress.
A few minutes later, May came back with a tray with a bowl of chicken noodle soup and a damp washcloth. May set the tray on Wally's lap as he sat up, and placed the washcloth on his forehead.
"May..." said Wally.
"What is it, Wally? May asked.
"Please stay with me..." Wally replied.
"Don't worry..." May responded, patting Wally on the head, "I will..."
