Hi guys - first off, please review - it really does help! Also, I'm limited in what I can write about before the game comes out, so expect slow replies. There won't be any immediate hacking and meeting of Aiden Pierce, but of course you can expect it to happen - it is Watch Dogs after all...

I rang the doorbell, glancing around the grotty neighbourhood with a sense of caution, but also, in the smallest part of my head, I felt a pang of injustice for these people as well. I smirked to myself - if they knew I was a copper, they'd probably fight each other to shoot me.
I turned back to the door, waiting a few moments with anxiety - now the operation was really going to start. I sighed deeply - I did not like lying, especially to family, but I had to focus on the bigger picture here - if we could destroy the Network, we could finally catch all the suspects we had identified - namely Aiden Pearce.
The door opened, and a familiar face grinned at me.
"Billy!" He grabbed my hand and pulled me into a hug. "I didn't know you were out!"
"Only got out this morning. How've you been Jacob?"
"A lot better now." He smiled back at me. "Come on man, come in!" I followed him into the house, taking out a cigarette as I followed him into the kitchen. "Been too long man."
"Yeah, it's been a long time." I chuckled. "Long fucking time..."
"Listen cuz, I wanted to visit you... I just thought I should keep my distance... you know, after Davis pulled the plug..." I shrugged.
"It's cool cuz, I get it." I nodded.
"I still can't believe it..." Jacob chuckled, "Billy fucking Reilly... in the flesh! You know, you look like shit."
"Yeah, you don't look too good either." I said, pushing him playfully before lighting my cigarette. "No, six months in jail does that to you."
"No kidding." Jacob smiled. "Hey, when you were in the joint... they didn't like...you know..." I smiled and took the cigarette away from my mouth.
"No, I didn't drop the soap if that's what you're referring to." He laughed from embarrassment. "So, what've I missed out on?"
"Oh, shit has happened cuz." He took out two beers and passed one to me. "You remember Finn? Down in Chicago?"
"Finn Slaite? Yeah, I remember."
"He's a Captain now - got his own gang down there now - I've actually got a few things going with him myself." Jacob bragged.
"No shit." I opened the beer. "Finn a leader huh?"
"Well, he's not like, a Mafia boss or anything but yeah - he's doing pretty ah... pretty fucking good you know?" I laughed with him.
"I can imagine. I can also imagine you're doing pretty good huh?"
"Yeah, not bad man - not bad at all."
"I'll say." I said, tapping my cigarette into the ashtray before standing up and admiring the lavish decoration of Jacob's apartment. "Hey, Jacob. You wouldn't happen to have any... well, if you need any help with Finn's stuff-"
"I'm glad you brought it up first." He smiled. "There's actually a job - Finn's always on the look-out for some new guys." He grabbed a packed bag from the couch and picked up a two sets of keys, throwing me one of them. "Come on, we'll swing through town and get you some new clothes on the way to Chicago."
Kitted out in new designers labels and my old leather jacket that Jacob had 'kept safe' for me, we set out on our long road to Chicago.

"Man... Billy Reilly... this is gonna be great!"
"Thanks again man - I appreciate you hooking me up like this."
"No worries man - we're family remember? You know, I watched the News - when you were arrested. I knew you wouldn't rat me out man."
"You know me Jacob." I smiled at him. I looked at the slums of Chicago as we drove in. "So, Finn's a Captain now huh?"
"Yeah - got a gang of guys working for him. All this," He gestured to the town, "is his territory. Although, another gang is starting to push in on his land."
"Another gang?"
"Yeah... rivals with Finn's." I nodded.
"So what? They do the whole extortion thing as well?" Jacob looked over to me.
"How'd you know Finn has us doing rackets?" I slipped up - it had been informed to me in my briefing before making contact with Jacob. I simply chuckled.
"We grew up with Finn Jacob - the guy was never really bright. I figured strong-arming people would be his forte." Jacob laughed.
"Well, to answer your question, no. They're more into... well, dealing with... live products." He looked over to me. I looked back at him, glancing back every now and then at the road.
"No shit?" Jacob shrugged.
"We let them run their joint, they let us run ours. Although lately they've been getting kind of... well, more bold."
"Bunch of assholes huh?" Jacob chuckled.
"Well, you said it, not me." He sat up in his seat. "Hey, listen; when we get to Finn's... let me do the intro yeah? What with all the gang shit going down now... everyone's a bit cautious of new faces."
"How come?"
"Finn set up... let's call it a mousetrap." He grinned at me. I did my best to smile back at him. "Tied a copper upside down, handed the new guy a gun and the guy bottled - couldn't do it. Turned out he was a cop. And what they did with him after..." Jacob shook his head. I waited for him to finish.
"What?"
"Man, let's just say the rumours aren't enough for a guy with a weak stomach." I nodded.
"Okay, I get the idea." I followed Jacob's directions until we pulled up outside a bar with a Celtic Knot engraved on the door. "Here?"
"They're in the back." He said, getting out of the car and walking into the pub. I followed shortly after parking the car and followed Jacob to the kitchen in the back. With a deep breath, I readied myself to come face-to-face with the Halsted Heavy.
