I Dont own Fairy Tail or Full Metal Alchemist.

To clarify Edward also sells various items he makes with alchemy, he doesn't only repair.

"Natsu, what the hell are you doing in my shop?" Edward growled out as he walked down the stairs that lead up to his living area.

Natsu yelped, and jumped a little hitting one of shelves that held some of Ed's merchandise, Ed winced but sighed in relief when the shelf settled without anything breaking.

Natsu ,backed away from the shelf slowly and then quickly gave Ed a nervous grin. "Oh hey Ed!"

"Just tell me what you want and leave before you destroy everything in my store." He could fix all of it of course, but it'd be a pain to fix so many items.

Natsu had already three times before walked into his shop and destroyed multiple shelves full of his merchandise. The last time he set some of his shop on fire, and his friend (or rival) sent a spike of ice through his wall. They had been having some sort of brawl over who knows what.

He was angry the first two times, but the third he came unglued on the two, from then on they where nervous around him. Also After that incident they were banned from his store, so usually when Natsu needed him now he'd wait til he was outside his shop, before pushing requests for repairs on him, but the last two days Edward had stayed cooped up in his store working on a new alchemical formula, so Natsu probably got impatient, and just took a chance and came in.

"Well you see um... I sort of destroyed some houses, again … But I told them it's totally fine because your around with your awesome magic that can fix anything! So if we could go over there you can use your zap repair magic stuff, and Erza wont have to know!" Natsu blurted out quickly before grinning widely at Edward.

Ed stared at Natsu, his face contorted into a scowl of half disbelief, and half annoyance. He sighed and looked at the ceiling in exasperation, before fixing his gaze on Natsu.

Edward knew from experience Natsu wont leave him alone when he wants him to do something. So he might as well give in now.

"How many this time?" Natsu eyes brightened immediately, and he grinned widely.

"So you'll do it awesome!" Natsu was obviously avoiding the subject of how many.

"Natsu, how many?"Edward forced out.

Natsu looked away before replying. "Three … and a half."

"Your an idiot. This is going to cost you big time. Oh and your caring all my supplies."

Edward's eyebrow twitched at the sight of destruction Natsu had caused. All of the first three houses where significantly burned, and the last one was completely caved in on one side.

The owners of the houses where buzzing around Edward as he surveyed the damage of the houses.

He waved them off with his hands and kept telling them he'd have it all fixed, gathering his supplies he set to work. He had a drawing of what the houses used to look like it was provided by one of the home owners. His mind whirled with calculations, before he stuffed the paper in his pocket. He set boards around the houses, and various other materials.

He then walked a ways away, rolled his shoulders, and then cracked his neck.

"You people might want to stand back." He said looking over his shoulder.

All the owners nervously backed up quite a ways , Natsu just stood back grinning barely holding his excitement in.

Clapping his hands together he concentrated, and then laid his hands on the ground. The power of the world flowed through him, after he discovered that using magic could make his alchemy more powerful, stuff like repairing three houses, and a half at once became a cinch, but he doesn't like to do it often, gives him a headache, and makes him feel sick.

But he wanted to get this over with so he could get back to his shop, so channeling magic it was.

The owners looked on in awe while Natsu cheered.

"You could have left him SOME money Ed. He looks pitiful." Cana said to him as she downed some more liquor.

"He'll get over it." Edward replied as he ate. Lunch time, then back to his shop later, using magic to repair so much left him hungry.

Natsu was moaning to him self looking dejected, as he sat at the bar his upper body sprawled out on top of it.

"You have no soul Ed." Cana said smiling.

Edward just smirked.

"Edward, my boy here to join the guild!?" Markarov asked hopefully jumping onto the seat beside him.

"No, just lunch. Stop asking old man you know my answer will always be no." Edward said before stuffing more food in his face. He acted annoyed, but he didn't really mind all that much, this was just the routine they went through every time he comes to the guild building.

"Cant blame me for asking!"Markarov then laughed.

Edward just rolled his eyes. Truthfully everyone already treated him like a member of Fairy Tail, and he started coming more and more to the guild house to eat, and socialize, so it was already like he was an unofficial member.

Edward just didn't see a point in joining, furthermore he didn't want to be tied down to one group of people. Who knows when he'll have to move again, or leave completely.

But he'd been alone so long in this world, it felt sort of good to have some people to talk to again.

Suddenly a thought hit him 'Al would have loved it here.' his eyes dulled, ad he stared at his food no longer hungry. The faces of all his friends from his original world flashed through his mind. Would he regret leaving these people behind? He felt like he would. He suddenly wasn't hungry, he pushed his food away and set some money on the counter before leaving.

Maybe he shouldn't get attached to these people, he could just end up hurting them in the end.

"Whats his problem?" Grey asked walking up to the counter, Cana shrugged, and Markarov stayed silent.

Those old eyes, Edward is a enigma. A young man with such wielding a dead art(AN: Edward eventually told him he uses alchemy), and carrying so much pain. Maybe to much pain for one so young to carry. If only he knew how to help him.

"So I don't want to eat at the guild building I don't see what the big problem is."Ed muttered to himself.

Various members of the guild where starting to show up at his door, casually stopping by. Some where obvious in their persistence for him not to be so closed off and come back (Natsu), and others more subtle.

It was obvious they where worried about him. He just didn't feel like it is all.

'Nii-san, Thats a lie, and you know it.' his inner Alphonse said speaking up.

'There is nothing wrong I feel fine' Edward repeated to himself.

'Your shutting them out on purpose, their your friends.' his Alphonse consciousness said speaking up again.

Edward sat down on his bed in a huff.

'Your lonely, and afraid.'

'What do you know you're a voice in my head.' Edward replied.

'What would the real Alphonse want? You to wallow in guilt, and fear or get up and keep walking?'

"Hey Ed your back! I havent seen you here in a while!"
