Obi-wan's Point of View

"That monster!" Anakin roared. He knocked a chair over, causing it to break into pieces. I held back a sigh, and let Master Windu put him in line. The boy was reckless.

"Calm yourself Skywalker. Anger is not something Knights express." Windu chastised. Anakin put his arms over his head.

"Master, how can you not be angered by this?! We are Jedi, and there you are sitting while this monster murders innocents. That was a Jedi espionage agent that he killed, making ten Jedi dead by this one. When will we be sent to end him?"

Mace Windu's voice dropped low. "'Ending' people is not what we do. We will bring him to justice, but the right way."

Anakin scoffed, making everyone raise their eyebrows. "You're honestly going to give him a trial?"

"We are part of-"

"We're Jedi! This is our affair!"

"ENOUGH Skywalker!" Yoda barked, getting down from his chair. Anakin thankfully shot-up, but not before letting out an angry exhale. He was very worked up; I bit my tongue. Anything I said now wouldn't help him, I let Master Yoda express himself.

"Master Kenobi," Yoda started. I turned my attention and posture to him to show I was listening, "Do something, you think we should? Agree do you, with your Padawan?"

I narrowed my eyes, not looking, but knowing Anakin was listening for my answer. "I believe...that this monster should be brought to justice. No trial, no press. We handle this, the right way."

I could sense Anakin's smirk. Yoda frowned, but nodded. "Go to end this monster, Skywalker and you shall."

Wait that's not what I wanted. "Why me and Anakin Master? We are not skilled enough to take this opponent on?"

Master Windu swooped in with an explanation. "It was your idea to take on this demon, you will execute it. This will help further Skywalker's training as well in light saber combat, as well as tracking and possible diplomacy. Find out who trained this monster, and don't come back until the puzzle is clear."

We were dismissed.

"Master-"

"Save it."

"Master I-"

"Anakin, save it."

I kept walking at a brisk pace. The youngling ran in front of me and blocked my way. I exhaled and stood level with the boy. His light curls were starting to come back, we haven't gotten a haircut since the last mission. His chin was starting to get defined, and there was a low stubble coming in. As for his eyes, well there were begging me to listen.

"What Anakin?"

Anakin ran his hand through his messy hair. "Master...I'm sorry. I know you keep telling me to be patient and to not argue...and I'm sorry I got us dragged into this." He spoke quickly, apologizing didn't come easy to him.

I folded my arms and chuckled slightly. "Well what did you think would happen? You did basically call the entire council lazy after all."

Anakin smiled too and we chatted animatedly as we walked towards our Starship. We were alright.

"Where to Master?" Anakin asked annoyedly. I had very promptly told him he wouldn't be piloting, as my lunch had yet to be digested, and Anakin was...oh to put it lightly…

Crazy.

"We are headed to Lakos V. If our culprit is still there, we were engage him together. Do you understand me, Anakin? We will not be reckless, we will fight together. You will listen to everything I say."

"Yes Master." Anakin replied seriously. I narrowed my gaze and pointed at him as the ship hummed.

"I mean it Anakin. This opponent will not be like the droids in training. Your style of combat of Shien may be too disorderly. Be smart, don't go for what looks like a mistake, an opponent of this caliber will want you to fall for the trap."

Anakin nodded, and I hope he was listening. Well, enough worries. The ship rose into the air as if in the palm of a God, and we were off.

As I flew, I felt Anakin practicing his blade work in the back. We were safe for the moment, but I turned on proximity alarms, and moved into the back silently. Anakin didn't notice my approach, moving so intently on his own strikes and stabs. He'd already worked a nice sheen of sweat on his brow, and his breathing was beginning to be labored. After a fierce flip and wide swing did he catch sight of me. "Master." He greeted. I walked down the short flight of stairs and nodded my assent.

"It's shaping up, but you're still putting too much force into your attacks. Learn angles, not strength."

Anakin looked at me, confused. "But Obi-Wan, I am strong. Why not use it?"

"You'll get tired. It's how my master died." My voice cracked at the last bit, and I turned away to hide the sudden sting of tears. Damn it, five years and I still grieve him…

"Master, are you...okay?" was the question warily posited to me. I wiped the tears and drew my blade. Anakin's eyes widened with surprise, and then narrowed with glee. He always looked forward to our sparring.

"Come on Anakin, show me all those flips you've been doing."

With a roar, blue ignited from Anakin's blade as he vaulted towards me. I felt myself grinning as I drew my own blade and met his. There was a flash, and soon we were whirling. Despite being Jedi, we were humans.

Humans love to fight, well at least, we do.
