Another day of work at Cafe Mew Mew. As Ichigo was taking orders from the customers, she looked over at Pixel who seemed to be going to and fro with a smile on her face. Cleaning, replacing silverware, checking customers out and even saving a near accident with one of Lettuce's orders. "Wow, she's a natural." Ichigo mused to herself. "Well, she's Shirogane-san's sister, so maybe she got some practice in Na No Da." Pudding said. "Still, it's quite odd he's never mentioned her before." Zakuro pointed out. Ichigo nods, remembering when Keiichiro told her about the death of Ryou's parents. "Yeah...and with that happening to Shirogane-san, Akasaka-san would've at least brought her up..." She murmured. "His parents were famous scientists, right? Maybe she was in a different country at the time of their experiments." Lettuce suggested. Suddenly Minto speaks up. "Wait...what time is it?" Ichigo looked at the clock "It's 3:40." Ichigo replied. Minto panicked "Eh!? Why didn't you say so sooner!?" She then got up from the table she was drinking her tea at. Walking over to Ryou, she asks "Shirogane-san, may I take some time off?" "And leave in the middle of work? What would you need time off for anyway?" Ryou asks. "My cousin is flying in from out of country. Her parents just recently died in an accident and so she's going to stay with Obba-san and I." Minto says. The Mew Mews gasp. "I'm so sorry to hear that Minto-san..." Lettuce says. "Oh, alright, given the crucial circumstance I'll let you off. But, try to be careful about being attacked." Ryou sighs. Minto nods seriously. "I understand." "Good. You are dismissed."
Ichigo asked, "So, Minto, what's your cousin like?" "Her name is Shinamon She's a gymnast of a pretty high caliber, but still has a long ways to go before she can be a professional. She only found out about her parents the morning after their accident and we only found out a day after that." Minto said. "Oh wow! A gymnast? Maybe she can teach me more flips Na No Da!" Pudding cheered. "I don't know about that, after all, she's still in her mourning period." Minto said a little irritably. She heads to the changing room. "Well, I should probably meet Obba-san at the airport, Shina-chan's flight will be here in about an hour." She then walks off.
Once the day was done, the girls changed out of their uniforms and headed home. "See you all tomorrow." Ichigo waved as the mew crew departed. "Ryou may I go for a walk?" Pixel asks. "Go ahead. Just don't get lost." Ryou nodded. "I'll be right back!" Pixel calls as she leaves the Cafe` with Shinka.
"So, Shinka, where should we go?" Pixel asks as she looks around. Then she sees a park. "Want to go to the park, Evo?" She smiles. Shinka minimizes itself, causing Pixel to gasp. "To the park~" Shinka chirped. Pixel giggles "Cool! I didn't know you could change size." She then takes out her cell phone Ryou gave her and made Shinka into a disguised cellphone charm. "You don't mind that, do you?" Pixel asks. "Camoflauge~ Less suspicious~" Shinka chirped once more. Pixel closed her eyes in a smile. "I'm glad you understand." She then heads to the park where she sees a man throwing a frisbee to a dog and a couple walking along the paths. A fountain was right in the center and there were families that were having picnics on the grass. "What a pretty sight!" She exclaims sitting on a bench. Suddenly she looks over and sees the airport as well as Minto and an old lady leaving with a girl about Minto's age with dark red hair tied into buns but having strands of hair that trialed to her waist coming off of the buns. She wore a dark red dress and had chocolate-brown eyes. "There's Minto-san! But who's that with her...? What do you think, Shinka? Should we check it out?" "Check it out~" Shinka confirmed.. Pixel then looks back up to see them getting into a limo and driving off. Pixel then followed.
"I hope you understand that the timing is a little on the off side. You see, we have a family member over who is just recovering from a loss." The old woman said to Pixel. "My condolences to the family, I just came to see Minto-san It won't be long." "Right this way dear." the old woman said as she leads Pixel inside. "Woah...this place is huge!" Pixel excalimed. Minto then came down stairs. "Obba-san, what should we do with Shina-chan's-Pixel, what are you doing here?" Minto exclaimed once she sees the blonde. "I just wanted to stop by and say hi. I didn't know you lived in a place like this!" Pixel beamed. "I'm sorry, Pixel, but this will have to wait another time." "Minto-chan, who is this?" Came a voice from the stairs. Pixel and Minto looks up to see the red haired girl that was with them at the airport. "Oh, Shinamon...this is Pixel. She works with me at the Cafe`." Minto said. "Shina...mon." Pixel drawled. "Uhm...Nice to meet you?" Shinnamon awkwardly waved.. "I'm sorry, Pixel, but you will have to leave now, we're in the middle of unpacking Shina-chan's things." Minto said. "Okay, it was nice to meet you!" Pixel called up. Shinamon smiled weirdly and nodded.
"Shina-san seems really nice, Don't you think Shinka?" Pixel asked. Suddenly, Shinka turned back towards the mansion. "Shinka, what's wrong?" "Go here! Go here!" Shinka said as it continues to pull itself with Pixel trying to tug the cellphone towards her. "No, Shinka, Minto says they need to finish packing." She grunts. But then the cell phone slips from her hand and Shinka turns big again and flies towards the mansion, dropping the cellphone in the process. "Shinka! Jeeze, What has gotten into him? Shinka, wait up!" Pixel called as she picked up the phone before running after the green fur ball.
Meanwhile, in her bedroom, Minto and Shinamon were catching up. After a while though, Shina seemed to have stopped listening. "Shina-chan, are you okay?" Shinamon snapped out of her zoning out, "Huh?" "You were zoning out, is everything alright?." Minto asked once more. "Sorry." She hesitates before saying, "...Something weird happened yesterday." "Oh? What happened?" Minto asked. "Well, the gymnasts and I were to have practice outside. It was my turn to go up on the beam when suddenly, the sky flashed red. Next thing I know, a white light appeared underneath me. I lost my balance and fainted. Hours later I wake up to my teammates hovering over me in the nurse's office. When I insisted I was fine, the coach called practice off for the day and then as we were changing, a fellow team mate noticed a tattoo that I haven't seen before." "A tattoo?" Minto gasps.. 'Could it be-...!?' She opens her eyes wide in realization. "M-may I see it?" Minto asks hesitantly. "Sure..." Just then, Shina unzips the back of her dress to the small of her back just enough to reveal a pink mark that looked like a native american symbol of an eagle.
"This is-" Minto began, but was interrupted by Shina screaming.. Minto looks up to see Shinka flying in with a frantic Pixel after it.. "I am so sorry! I-?" Pixel begins but then Shinka's eyes turn a bright blue for a few minutes and regains to normal before spitting out a gold pendant. "What's this?" Shina asks. "Evolution Mew Mew...1/4 found~" Shinka chirped. "Evolution Mew Mew? Minto-chan, what's going on?!" Shinnamon demands. "So you are one of us..." Minto breathes in amazement. "What are you talking about?" Shina asks. "It's a long story...pretty bad timing though..Follow us." Minto says as she gestures to Pixel to move on.
Just then, they reach Cafe` Mew Mew. "Minto-chan, is this the Cafe` you're working in?" Minto nods as she opens the door. Right then Ryou was there to greet the three of them. "Ah, Pixel, glad you made it back safely-hm? Minto-san, what are you doing here, and who's this?" Ryou asks. "Shirogane-san, this is my cousin Shinamon, Shina-chan this is our boss Ryou Shirogane. " Minto introduces. "Nice to meet you." Shina bows. "Yyyeah...You still haven't answered me, what are you doing here?" Ryou asks turning his gaze to Minto, but then shifts to Pixel when she answered for her. "Shinka and I were about to leave when Shinka wanted us to turn back then he flies into Minto-san's room and his eyes turn blue before spitting out a pendant at her. He then called her an Evolution Mew Mew." "I see." Ryou said. "So, what does that mean?" Shina demands. "Follow me." Ryou said as he turns and heads to the HQ.
After giving the lowdown, Shina looks at Ryou with exasperation. "And you expect me to believe all this?" "You have to, you have no choice." Ryou said. "You were right Minto-chan, bad timing for this! I mean, my parents just died and now you tell me that I have to save the world?" "It's okay Shina-chan...Just calm down." Minto hugs her cousin as she breaks down in sobs. Ryou closed his eyes solemnly as Pixel looks on in sorrow. After a while, Shina lets go of her cousin as she asks Ryou, "So...when do I start?" "Usually, we'd say as soon as possible, but in your case, I'll let you get some rest and come in tomorrow." Shina nods wearily.
