" Now, now... since my shop is closed for the holidays... who should I use the power on?" thought Mai when she was all settled in her cozy little mansion.

" I've got it! Heehee. Well, he is so cute..." said Mai while blushing bright red. " Oh J... I love you!" she said remembering that Joey might fall asleep.

After some time of planning, Mai did her evil grin and walked over to the hospital Serenity was at. She was almost positive Joey would be there.

" Hey Mai!" cried Joey the second she walked into the room. " The doctor says that I'm short of money for the operation. Oh no... I really need money! I've got to win the tournament Marik set up!"

" None of my business. " said Mai with a smirk on her face.

" Please Mai! You have to help me!" wailed Joey.

" Nope and can I talk to you for a second? Outside in the hall?" asked Mai smiling.

" Ok, be right back Serenity." Joey said.

Joey followed Mai to the back of the building.

" Ok, what's up?" asked Joey with a sadness in his voice.

" Joey" she whispered.

Joey fell straight into Mai's arms.

" Teehee. Joey's mine!" she thought.

" When you wake up, you have to be deeply in love with me." Mai said.

" Now wake up. Yeoj!" she whispered.

" Hun? What's going on?" he looked around confused.

" Oh Mai!" he cried when he saw her." Oh Mai, you have the prettiest eyes I've ever seen! Will you go out with me?"

" Oh yes my darling!" said Mai, happy that her plan worked.

" Well, let's go!" said Joey all love eyed.

" Let's go to the dance hall. I'm all dressed and ready." said Mai in her sparkly purple dress.

" Whatever you say, my love." answered Joey.

Holding hands, they walked away from the hospital.

" Wait Joey!" cried Tea. " I've come to visit your sister."

" Well, she's in an upstairs room, ask a nurse. I don't have time, I need to go out on a date with Mai." he called, his voice slurring.

Giggling, Mai and Joey walked to the Dance Hall.

" Well, that's odd..." thought Tea. " I remember Joey saying that he needed more money for Serenity's operation. He still has time for dates? Well, I'm going to trail them. Something weird is going on.

With that, Tea followed Joey and Mai to the dance hall.

" My darling" said Joey twirling Mai around.

Mai giggled and thought about how well her plan was going.

Well, I need to make Joey kiss me next. She thought.

" Come on, my love, let's go to the back of the building, I have something to show you." said Ma.

" Okay" Joey agreed.

Meanwhile, Tea was having some trouble with the crowd and all the boys that wanted to dance with her.

" Ooops,"

" Sorry"

" I'm terribly sorry to bump into you."

" Oh! Ummm, I'm in a rush today so I can't dance with you"

" Sorry, I can't"

But after sometime she finally got through the crowd. She was just in time to see Mai kiss Joey.

" My darling! I'm sorry but I'll have to do it. Joey!" she said.

Joey fell into Mai's waiting arms.

" Hee hee," she murmured. " Good thing that Mokuba gave me this power" she said out loud knowing that it wouldn't have any effect on him because she had used it on Joey already.

She whispered to herself everything she knew from Mokuba about the power just to make sure that she was doing the right thing. But she didn't notice that Tea was hearing every single word.

Tea stepped out of the shadows.

" I heard everything Mai!" she stated accusingly. " Give me the power now."

" Oh Tea...okay, you can have it. But wait a sec." Mai said sadly. " Forget everything I made you do. Yeoj!"

Joey sat up, all confusion. Then he remembered about Serenity.

" Got to go. Bye Mai. Bye Tea." he called running off.

" Well there is one thing left for me to do, and that is to wish you luck with the power." Mai gave a wary smile and collapsed.
