To say Sasuke was annoyed was an understatement. After twelve hours on a plane with Naruto acting like Naruto then getting through customs was always a bitch. Then Naruto had lost his bags and then Naruto was hungry (sighs). After what seemed like forever the group finally made their way out of the airport and took a cab to their new house.

What should have took a thirty minute drive ,like the cab driver said it would, took almost two hours due to the heavy amount of traffic they were in. 'Welcome to America' the young raven thought bitterly.

The cab finally came to their destination. Sasuke quickly paid the man and hurried out of the cab before he strangled Naruto. When Shikamaru opened the door to the flat he almost cried of joy. Almost. The apartment was a four bedroom flat with a small office, a nice sized kitchen, one bathroom, and a view of the city.

"Yeahhh!" Naruto yelled for no apparent reason. " New York, Naruto Uzamaki is here! BELIEVE IT!" Shikamaru sighed and Sasuke's eyebrow twitched. " Well I'm about to get in the shower. This day has truly been troublesome." Shikamaru said lazily as he waked to his room with his hands behind his head.

"Naruto come to the store with me. We need to buy some things for the house." Sasuke brushed his hair through his spikes. Man was he tired. "Okay. Maybe they sell ramen here too!"

They had to grab a cab to take them to a store called Wal-Mart. After about another hour shopping for everything they needed and wanted in Naruto's case they headed back home.

After a good shower, Sasuke lay back on his futon and tried to go sleep. "Grrrrrrrrrllll" Sasuke's eyes opened in frustration. He looked towards his stomach. He sat up and went to the fridge.

After taking turns from glaring at the pantry to the fridge and back at the fridge he decided that he would go grab a quick bite to eat from a diner he saw not to far from where they stayed.

He slipped on his shoes and grabbed his keys then headed out. After walking for ten minutes he came across the small diner he saw. Denny's. Hope its good.

He entered the small place and went over to the counter where a woman with black hair stood. "Welcome to Denny's. Will it just be one?" "Yes ma'am" She smiled at him. " Right this way hun." He followed her to a small booth in the back. She poured him a glass of water and handed him a menu. "Your server will be Ino," Sasuke nodded as the woman walked away.

A few minutes later and a blonde hair beauty walked up to him. She smiled the brightest smile he had ever seen in his life. "Hello my name is Ino and I will be your waiter tonight can I start you with any drinks?" Sasuke forced himself to look away and cleared his throat." Can I have an orange juice?" She wrote that down on her pad. " No problem are you ready to order or do you want a few more minutes to look it over?"

"Well I have a question?" She looked at him. " What do you recommend. I never ate here before." She looked surprised. " Well you must not be from around here are you?" " No my first night in the states." She smiled that same gorgeous smile. " Well let me be the first to welcome to you to America." She giggled. He smirked. " And I recommend the Grand Slam. Only if your really hungry though." " No that will be fine." "Well one Grand Slam coming up." She smiled grabbed his menu and walked away.

She came back a few minutes later with his food. "Here is your Grand Slam," she said as she carefully sat his food down. " Thank you can I ask for one more question." "Sure" " Can you sit with me I just have a couple of questions about America and all if you know,not to busy or anything." "Oh no I'm not busy at all. " She sat down next to him. " Are you hungry do you want some of my food?" " Oh no thanks," She laughed. " After working here for a while I kinda get sick and tired of the food you know." He nodded his head.

"So this place doesn't close?" She shook her head. " Nope not at all. There are just different shifts. Its my turn to have the shitty shift." SHe laughed again. He found himself liking her laugh way too much. "So how do you like it so far?" He shrugged. " I just need to give it some more time that's all. I haven't seen very much of it that's all." She nodded. " If you don't mind me asking but why did you move all the way out here?"

A pang hit his heart as he thought about Itachi. " Well lets just say I had to do something for me." She nodded her head again. " I feel ya. So what do you want to be?" "Well I want to be my own boss. Not having to answer to anyone that's all. She laughed. " We are alike in some ways."

He smirked." How so? And what do you want to be?" "Well I don't want to answer to anyone either. I want to have my own fashion line." " Oh really? So why don't you?" "Well back to reality I have to help take care of my daddy. He can't work so I had to drop out of school and help with the bills."

"Well thats brave of you to help him." She coughed and turned her head. Sasuke saw the faint blush. She cleared her throat. " So you never told me what you were going to do." " I am going to run my own buisness." "Wow good luck with that." " Thanks"

Hours passed and before they knew it was three in the morning. " Wow time has flew my shift has been over for thirty minutes," She laughed. " Sasuke stood and left a twenty on the table. " Let me walk you home." "Oh you really don't have to," She began to protest. " No I want to please Ino." She nodded.

They walked for about twenty minutes in a comfortable silence." Well this is my home sweet home." "Well Ino thank you for talking to me." She walked up the steps and unlocked the door."No problem, goodnight!" "Goodnight," He turned and walked down the street.

"Hey!" Ino yelled. Sasuke turned around. "What's your name? You never told me!" "Sasuke!" He yelled back. "Well I hope we see each other again Sasuke!" And just like that she disappeared inside of her house. " Yeah me too," He whispered to himself.

He finally made it to the apartment around three thirty and let himself succumb to sleep. The last thing on his mind was Grand Slams and blue eyes.

I know this chapter isn't really important but it does have some sasino interaction.

For the future chapters: Just a forewarning I Know NOTHING about running a business so I wont get into too much detail about what they are going to do.
