The Doctor was coming into the console room and eyes went immediately to the door. On the floor was a 3rd envelope, curly lettering on the front read "Friend". He had been expecting it, every day he'd walk in the console room and look to the door. He opened the envelope careful, making sure not to rip it.

The questions were pretty simple but the idea of these silly questions where intriguing, so grabbing a nearby pen, he started writing his answers next to her questions.

"

Mac or Pc? Microsoft, though i usually use the Tardis.

He paused thinking about how he had once met Bill Gates when he was still working in his garage. What a nice fellow.

Coke or Pepsi? Dr. Pepper obviously.

He couldn't stop the chuckle that escaped his lips at that.

Bing or Google? I use the TARDIS, so I don't really have a need for a search engine.

Do you knock, or ring the doorbell? Barge right in.

He smiled again at that. He did often just barge in, didn't he?

Vanilla, strawberry, or chocolate? I quite like Vanilla, you can mix things in and it's sweet.

PC or tablet? Again, TARDIS.

Sweet or Sour? I like sweet things like Jelly Babies, although I haven't had any in years.

Listen and understand every language, or read and write every language? I already can do both, it's pretty useful.

Cat or Dog? Once you get threatened by a cat in a Nurse's wimple it kind of takes the fun out of it.

He smiled again, and paused. He was smiling. He hadn't really smiled much, not since Ro... He stopped smiling, and swallowed thickly before putting down his pen and folding the letter back into the envelope. He didn't want to think about that. This letter, this absurd and impossible letter that had slid under the crack of the door, was nearly the only thing that had made him smile in far too long.

He really needed to get out more. He stood and with a small smile tugging at his lips, starting searching for a new adventure.
