She hissed when Lucy ran some bandages on her right hand. They sat on the bench outside the house. Cool breeze was really helping after all. It was a long time ago when she can feel those breezes. So calm yet so cold.
Hm, cold, huh?
It reminded her about Kanda.
"You have changed a lot, Meena."
She looked at Lucy with surprised look. Lucy covered her fingers with bandages carefully. Meena tried to avoid the bandages but Lucy insisted on it. She has some broken bones in her fingers, some bruised until becoming a light purple. Kanda's death grip is really something.
"So, you came here just to returning his bracelet? So sweet…"
"What?! That's not!"
"So? The other reason?"
"I got a mission. It is about send a back up on our General. Or you can say, our Master."
"So?"
"Don't give me that look! I crossed this village because this is the fastest way to reach my Master. And suddenly, I got an idea to returning his bracelet."
"It's still nonsense after all…."
"Your chuckle is really something, Lucy."
Some footsteps were heard by them. They looked at the centre of the sounds. A man around Suman's age smiled towards them. Lucy smiled back and kissed him. Meena blushed.
"Oh, I forgot. This is Sam, my husband. Sam, this is Meena. She is an Exorcist and Kanda-san's comrade. She came here to back him up."
"Nice to meet you, Sam!"
"Yeah, you too."
Meena looked at Meena with some disappointed look. Lucy knew what it means. She hugged Sam romantically. Meena huffed.
"Don't give me that look, Meena. I got married 2 years ago. We have one cute daughter as the result. I didn't know where your branch is so I couldn't send you the invitation."
"Uragirimono…" Meena whispered with her dark aura. *Uragirimono: traitor*
"Hey, how about him? You know… you know…." Lucy gave Meena a wink at her left eye. Meena snapped. How could that Lucy….
"Meena snapped! So you feel about it! Don't be shy…. In my opinion, he is beautiful."
"Yeah, it makes me like a shameful girl beside him."
"Don't be so desperate like that! You can make some decent babies with their cuteness. When they grown up, you will see the result! You and he are going to having some beautiful and handsome children."
"Beautiful and handsome? It sounds creepy."
"You know what I mean. But, Sam is more attractive in his own way-"
"And in your eyes. Just, please. We just friends or you can say, comrades."
"Oh…. How silly…"
"Mou… I give up! There is no way we can be like both of you! He is so cold and-"
Meena felt a presence behind her back. She looked at the couple's expression. With a 'bravery' heart, she looked behind.
There was Kanda with his black pants and his buttoned white shirt. A blanket was covered his shoulders. He lied at the edge of the door. Still waiting (courtesy of Meena) their silly conversation.
"Kanda! What are you doing in here?! How about your fever? Do you have any symptom? Still in headache?" Meena put her hand on his forehead to feel his temperature. It was fine, so she ran her hands on his chest to feel his heartbeat. She felt a little amazement that Kanda didn't has an idea to shove her hands away.
"C'mon! Let's lie down on your bed," she took his hand and guided him on his room. She nodded on the couple and snapped when a suppressed giggle was heard from outside. But the important one is Kanda.
"So, why?"
"Hm? I got a mission to protect my Master. General Sokaro. This is the fastest way to reach him."
Kanda gave her surprised look. Meena smiled. She asked him to lie down but he insisted to sit down.
"Watashi no shishou wa Sokaro gensui desu. Odoroita? Yapparri!" *my Master is general Sokaro. Surprised? Like I guess!*
'Of course! With all your personalities!'
"Tch!"
"So, how about your mission?"
He looked at his Exorcist coat. She took it and looked inside one of his pockets. A little cube is glowing with green light. Meena chuckled. Kanda finished his mission without other's help (again). She put the coat beside Kanda (including the innocence).
"So? Did you hear about Yeegar gensui?"
"Aa.."
"You got the mission? To back up your Master?"
"Yeah."
Meena rose up and gave him a sad smile. He looked her with widen eyes. What was the meaning of that smile? But that smile changed to a beautiful smile.
"May our paths cross again. I don't know but I have a feeling that we will not see each other in very very long time."
"Is that your prophecy?"
"I have a dream. But it was so real until I can felt the sadness after I woke up."
Kanda still in his stoic and silence position. But she knew that he wanted her to continue.
"I'm… all alone. No one Exorcist or finders around. I engulfed by darkness which I don't know why."
"It was a dream after all."
"But it felt so real. And I felt some whisper around me about my destiny. I'm scare…." She sat beside Kanda and brought her knees on her forehead. She embraced herself and sobbed. Kanda looked at the other side but his hand ran on her head.
"Let it out if you can feel some relieves."

Kanda woke up when he let Meena to touch his head. So, besides those healing abilities, she has the other abilities after all. He rubbed his eyes and sat down. A footstep was heard. He rose up and tried to stand. He put his Exorcist coat and his other equipments. Maybe Meena was gone far in early morning.
"Kan-Kanda-san?"
"We back to the headquarter. The mission completed."
"O-Okay."
"Where is she?"
"Do you mean Meena-sama?"
"Aa…"
Garry guided him outside. Gentle breezes were touching his lock and ponytail. He looked at the outside and found Meena with her usually cheerful face. She played with a little girl around one year old in her arm. The baby just tried to speak but it became some mumbles. Meena laughed and kissed her cheek.
"She is so cute, isn't it?"
"Yeah! Oh my God! I love children!"
"Do you want some children like my child? With their 100% cuteness?"
"Yeah. Why not?"
"How about to make them with him?"
"W-WHA-WHAT?!"
"Aaahhh… perfect! Just look at that!" Lucy pointed at Kanda and his finder, Garry. Meena smiled because Kanda was back like the normal one, yeah, hateful and cold as usual. She carried Lucy's baby and gave her on Lucy's arms. Lucy gave her some 'spirit' looks. But Meena is Meena after all.
"So, you want to go back?"
"Aa."
"Be careful."
"You're the one to talk."
"My Master is General Sokaro, so don't worry about me. Your Master is…. Oh yeah, General Tiedoll, right?!"
"You look so happy with your sparkling eyes."
"He is one of my favorite General. His drawing is pretty cool after all. Ne Kanda, would you like to help me?"
"What's with that kicked puppy face?"
"Please, could you ask him to give me one of his drawings? I love his art of drawing."
"Tch."
Suddenly, Meena's Golem flew from her dress. She ducked its wings with ease. But her hat fell down on the dirt. From inside the Golem, a familiar sound was heard.
"Meena? moshi-moshi?! Hey! Where are you! I'm waiting at the other side of the mountain. You asked me to wait in here but where are you anyway?!"
"So-Sorry! I will be there soon. Just wait and don't leave me!"
"It's depends after all. Don't be late liked usual!"
Thrashing sounds were heard from the other side of the talked mountain.
"Hey! She always late like usual. Just wait her, Suman!"
"You want to save her, Labon?!"
"I'm just wanted to explain the detail!"
"She's the only girl among us. Besides, she's the youngest…."
"You're right, Reed. I think it's only Suman who tried to act like her only father."
"Whatever."
Meena suppressed her laughter. They are really never change….
"So! Meena! Just come here already!"
"Okay okay… Ooyajii-san tachi….." *Ooyajii: Pops*
"What the-"

Kanda huffed. They are so damn annoying. Just like Daisya. But, he felt a little grateful because only Daisya who has that attitude. But in Meena's team?
"So, Good bye Kanda. I'll be in my way. Be carefull, okay?"
"Tch! We have same direction until we reach the mountain. What's with the good bye sign?"
They wavered to the Igory's and Lucy's family (except Kanda). Meena walked beside Kanda and Garry behind them. Meena opened her map and Kanda just rolled his eyes. They will get separated in the next village. He gave her a quick glance on her face. She looks so beautiful with that civilian dress.
But, he never said it out loud.
"We reach the place. So, see you again."
Meena tore her civilian dress. Her new pants was like Miranda's pants. Her new boots covered her leg to her knees. She walked on the opposite direction. She tried to look behind but a hand was intertwined on her wrist. She looked at the owner.
"You said it just a dream. I believed it."
Meena's eyes got widen when Kanda pulled out his Golem. She knew what he means and also pulled out her own Golem. They exchanged their Golem's numbers. Meena pulled out her tarot cards. She shuffled it and asked Kanda to pick one of them. Kanda did as she instructed.
"It's a nice card, Kanda. Take it with you. The card said that you will get something good called 'fortune' in destiny. And the nice part is you can't predict it."
"How about you?"
"Hm?"
"Yourself."
Meena sighed. She picked out two cards. Surprisingly, the cards have same appearance but their back was different.
"I made these cards by myself. Sorry for the bad drawing. But I believe that the effect is still remaining same. I bring this by myself and you will bring the other. Is that fair? These cards are not the part of my tarot cards. So, don't worry."
She slipped the card inside his pocket. He tried to avoid it but Meena's faster than himself. Meena gave him a cunning smile and sprinted on her way. Kanda just stared at her back dumbfounded. He clutched the card but in the end he slipped it inside his pocket. He looked at her back for the last time and noticed her ponytail. The tie was from Kanda.

Kanda walked to the tavern. The appearance was same like Daisya's description, he walked in and found that turk with his innocence on his finger. He sat in front of Daisya. Daisya looked so malicious with those eyes. Yup, he never let go his eyes from Kanda's eyes. He knew something had happened.
"What?!"
"Something has happened. Am I wrong?"
"Tch."
"Was that before you reach this tavern? I bet you do!"
Yeah, it was happening before I help that finder named Gozu.
"I heard from my golem that there is a new Exorcist. My finders said that she is so cute and pretty in other way. You must be met her in the main branch. Aren't you?"
"It's Meena."
"You know her? Can I have her golem's number?"
Kanda had to fight the urges to punch his teammate. He didn't know why he feel so angry when someone trying to do something bad for Meena.
So angry?
Do something bad to Meena?
Now he wants to punch his own face. He stood up when Daisya walked out from the tavern with his chuckles. Really, what's wrong with his body? He never felt like this before…
No, he have.
That was when he knew about Alma and that stuff a long ago. Now, must he do it again for that silly and cute girl?
"Are you come or not? We must find that old geezer before he gets surrounded by Akumas."
"Tch!"

"Hey… here you are! Look! Suman almost be an old geezer just to waiting you."
"Sorry…. I got stuck in the way. So, we go now?"
"Yeah, we must never waste time!"
But a white light shone in front of them, she tried to shielding her eyes because the piercing light. A man with a suit came out and put a top hat on his head. She noticed some strange marks on his forehead. His grey skin was a conclusion for one reason.
A Noah.
"He is a Noah," said Meena to her comrades. "He looks powerful beyond us."
Suman knew what her means. Some years with Meena made him knows what she thinks. He commanded his comrades to take some steps back. He grabbed Meena's wrist because she couldn't move on her own. It was because the shock.
"Just run away as far as you can! Tell the others about this Noah!"
"I can! I can fight! Together we can!"
"Don't lie! You said it earlier. You are the only hope. Your recording with your mind drawing can give the others about this information. Just-"
Meena doesn't know why the Reed's words got stopped. She didn't know but some strange feeling kept creeping up inside her chest. What is this?
She looked down on her own body. Some bloods seeping and wetting her Exorcist uniform. She didn't feel anything but some numb feeling around her chest. A cold hand cupped her chin and forced her to look upward. A pair of golden eyes met her eyes. She chocked some blood and drew some shocking expression from her teammates.
"A little girl in her Exorcist uniform trying to help her friends. They said that you have some power to give the others about my information. But I think I can't let you go although you are so cute in my eyes."
She gave him her last death glare and a hand came out from her chest. She chocked more bloods. Suman tried to help her but Meena grabbed that Noah's hand. She crushed it with her remaining strength.
"Sorry, I am a gentleman. So I will give you some respect. I never let a woman die in pain."
Another hand grabbed her forehead. A loud crack could be heard and Meena felt her body got numb again. She couldn't stop her body from falling in the river. From her blurring vision, she saw her teammates got killed one by one.
She tried her body to get up but the damage she took was too much. She tried to heal but her breaking bones refusing it. Tears came out from her eyes. The scenery was too hurt for her fragile heart.
'Innocence…. Please…. I want to help my friends…'
'I want to help them…'
'I don't want to see them killed…'
'I want to see them alive until the war is over…'
'Please….. I beg you….'
'Although you are the one who killed him…'
'I don't want to lose anymore…'
She tried to stay awake but some vision stuck her mind. A shadow came out in front of her. She blinked her tired eyes, the sound of battle cry was ignored by her ears. The shadow was so familiar. The height, the gestures, the hairs,
She missed him…
That shadow offered her a hand to take. She looked at her teammates who got killed one by one again.
"Suke….."
And she fell to her own deep slumber…
Same like the dream that she told to that Kanda…..

Sorry for the late update. I got some troublesome homework (including some research and using some alchemic potion in the lab with some chance to fail) but in the end I could do it with my crazy resolve (without take some good measures among the liquids).
So, here we go the chapter 8…. ^_^
