"Full name?"

"Addison Grace Remington. You?"

"Logan Phillip Henderson."

After finishing their Marvel marathon, Logan and Addie had quickly grown bored and decided to play the Question Game. The rules were simple, ask questions about the other person to try to get to know them better. But so far, they had only found out that Logan grew up in Texas and Addie in Darwin.

And now they knew each others full names.

"Any siblings?" Addie asked and Logan nodded, smiling at the thought of his little sister, Presley.

"Yeah, she's just a kid but she's probably the funniest person I know. She always makes me laugh." Logan grinned and glanced at Addie. "What about you?"

"Nope, it's just me. I wish I had brother or sister. Someone who could braid my hair for me or protect me from bullies." Addie sighed, resting her cheek on the palm of her hand. They were both sitting in wheelchairs facing each other as they sat in the middle of the room.

"But I thought you were a hairdresser?" Logan cocked his head and Addie laughed.

"Not when I was three, genius!" Addie had certainly come out of her shell since the day before. She was still a little shy and wasn't a complete goofball like Logan or Carlos but she was definitely showing small shards of her true personality.

"Fine, fine!" Logan chuckled, holding his hands up in surrender. "If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you want to go?"

"England." Addie answered immediately. "I've always wanted to go since I was a little girl but my parents didn't have enough money to bring me there."

"I'd want to go to Brazil...or maybe Mexico. I'm actually going to Mexico in March because Carlos is getting married so I guess Brazil. Yeah, that'd be nice." Logan answered. Addie had no idea who 'Carlos' was or who he was marrying but he must have been close to Logan if he would spend so much money just to go to Mexico to go to his wedding.

"What's your favorite memory?"

Logan had to think about that one. His first audition, his first time performing or maybe finally getting the call that he would be cast as Logan Mitchell for the show. All of them were pretty amazing experiences. But even though these moments were amazing and life changing, it was really the small things that made it his favorite.

Finally he said "The past few years of my life have been pretty amazing and I can't really pinpoint something. But I remember this one time when me, James, Kendall, and Carlos all went to the beach. We thought it would be funny if we wore Speedos..." Addie started giggling. " It wasn't a big deal. We just took some pictures, ate ice cream and listened to music. It turned out we had to go to a signing so we all sprinted through the streets, ice cream cones shoved in our mouth and the boom box playing some awful rap song."

Logan started laughing as he finished the story. "So we got to the signing, dripping wet with ice cream all over out faces and gasping for breath. We didn't have time to change so we just wiped our faces off and did the rest of the signing in our Speedos."

Addie was laughing, but she also looked a little confused. "What do you mean by signing?"

"You don't know who I am?" Addie just looked plain skeptical and a little creeped out. "I'm one-fourth of a boy band called Big Time Rush. We have a TV show too and we just had a concert the day before Bessie attacked." The decided that the saltwater crocodile that had attacked them would be named Bessie. They don't know why, the name just fit her.

Bessie the man-eating crocodile.

"Oh, that's cool." Addie smiled, not looking at Logan any differently. "I guess my favorite moment would be when I went to Haiti. After the earthquake, I went with my church to go rebuild a school. It was amazing working with the kids. They had just gone through something so traumatizing and still found a reason to smile. If I ever have the chance to do something like that again, I'm taking it, no doubt about it."

"That's really amazing." Logan smiled. "It's awesome that you could get the chance to do something like that. I wish I'd have done something like that. Anyway, Least favorite memory?"

"Bessie." Addie said immediately. Logan nodded.

"Bessie would definitely be considered a horrible experience." Logan grimaced at the memory of the crocodiles large teeth puncturing his skin and dragging him under. He had given up at that point.

"Would you take it back if you could?" Addie asked curiously. Logan nodded immediately. After weeks of being in a coma, he was still in pain, but it was nothing compared to the pure agony he endured during the real attack.

"I honestly can't think of anything good that will come from this. The entire thing was just...traumatic, you know. What about you?" Logan answered. Addie bit her lip thoughtfully as she thought.

"I don't know if I would. It's too early to tell, you know?" Logan didn't. "I'm a strong believer that there is a reason for everything and I might just not know that reason yet."

Logan nodded, getting what she was saying but still not agreeing with her. He couldn't think of anything that would have made that terrible experience worth it. Publicity? Big Time Rush was already popular. A life lesson? Logan already valued his life before Bessie and wasn't someone to take it for granted.

Logan's phone beeped and he opened the text to see it was from management. They had scheduled a Skype interview with him to tell the fans that he's alive and about what happened. All they really knew was that she was attacked by a crocodile and the details were vague.

"We're going to have to cut this game short. I have an interview to do." Logan wheeled himself over to his bed and picked up his laptop, which James had dropped off earlier that morning. He flicked it open and waited to get the call. "Do you want to be in it?"

Addie's face immediately paled. "Uh, n-no thank you." she stammered. Logan simply shrugged.

Finally, he got the call from ACN Media. A smiling face popped up on the screen. She was in her mid-thirties, with shoulder length brown hair, brown eyes and was sitting behind a large desk.

"It's been all over Twitter, Facebook and on the cover of every magazine; what happened to Logan Henderson during Big Time Rush's trip to Australia? We have Mr. Henderson here to give us exclusive details himself." Addie had turned on the TV to mute and was watching it. "Logan, how have you been?"

"I've been better." Logan shrugged. "I'm still in a bit of discomfort but I'm a lot better than before. The doctor says I should make a full recovery."

"That's good to hear. I see you have some cuts on your face there, those don't look like bite marks." the interviewer mentioned and Logan touched his face where the scratches were. They weren't very deep and were almost completely healed up, showing thin, broken lines of red down his face.

"Yeah, that's from where I got whipped in the face by its tail." Logan smiled a lopsided grin.

"Why don't you tell us the full story?"

Logan started, "The guys and I wanted to go to the beach on our day off so we went to a more secluded spot, away from everyone else. There were only a few other people there actually but one of them was a girl named Addie." Logan continued to tell about greeting Addie, her falling into the water and when he thought she'd simply fallen, him diving in after.

"The thing was huge. It had Addie in its jaws and it was rolling around. I started attacking it to get her free and I ended getting whipped in the face. I managed to pull her free and we swam to the top. I thought we were finally free but the crocodile, we like to call her Bessie, grabbed my ankle and pulled us under."

"When you say 'us' do you mean Addie as well?" the interviewer asked. Logan wanted to roll his eyes but remained respectful.

"Yeah, I was still holding on to her when I pulled her out of Bessie's mouth so I pulled her down with me when I went." Logan explained. "Addie beat Bessie up with a rock and this time, we actually were free for real. The rest was blurry but I remember getting pulled to shore."

"That's a crazy story, Logan. Have you seen Addie since you woke up?"

Logan nodded. "Yeah, she woke up a day after me and we've hung out a bit today."

"Is she with you now?" Addie started shaking her head, trying to convince Logan not to say anything. She really didn't want to be in the interview.

"Uh, she's asleep." Logan lied and Addie gave him a thankful smile.

"That's too bad, I would have loved to talk to the other victim." the woman seemed truly disappointed.

"I guess you're stuck with me for now." Logan teased and she chuckled.

"I guess so." The woman ran her thin fingers through her hair as she continued the interview. "So what are your injuries like? Logan honestly didn't have very many injuries, and neither did Addie. The wounds they did have, though, were very severe.

"I have a broken ankle, some nasty cuts on my ankle and just some random scratches all over my chest and face. The doctor said I'm stuck wheelchair for the next few weeks but I'll be back to doing backflips and jumping around on stage in no time."

"And what about Addie? Will she make a full recovery as well?" Logan glanced at Addie and she nodded, letting him know that it was okay for him to say it.

"No, her leg was almost completely ripped off and it's a miracle it wasn't. She's always going to have a limp and she'll have some physical limitations." Logan recited the doctors words. "But we're both extremely lucky to not have had it worse. Like I said, Addie could be missing a leg right now and both of us were supposed to be in coma's for longer."

"That's great. The entire world can rest easy now that you're up and walking...well, maybe not walking quite yet but we're all happy that you're alive." the brunette smiled and Logan happily returned it.

"Thanks, and I'd like to say thank you to everyone who has sent me and my family love. These past few weeks have been especially hard for them." Logan smiled and pointed to the screen, "I love you guys." Logan hadn't actually been on any social networking since he'd woken up but Kendall, who was in charge of tweeting about Logan's condition, told him that everyone, whether they're a Rusher or not, were sending him nothing but love.

"That's all we have time for but I feel that I can say this for everyone, when I say that we can't wait for you to get out of that hospital and back on stage where you belong." The woman smiled one last time. "Bye Logan, it was nice talking to you. Get well soon."

"Thanks, it was nice talking with you too." Logan smiled just before the camera shut off. Logan turned off his laptop and set it on his bed. He wheeled around to face Addie, who had also turned off ACN Media. "So what do you want to do now?"

"Want to finish our game?" she asked, a small blush forming on her cheeks. Logan grinned and nodded.

"Sure. If you could change one thing about you, what would you change?" Logan asked. He was worried about the boundaries he was pushing with his question but he decided to risk it. How was he supposed to get to know this girl if he didn't ask her anything deep?

Addie bit her lip as she thought, "I wish I would have more confidence." Addie admitted. "I've always been the kind of girl who everyone pushes around and I just wish I could stand up for myself."

The words sent a dagger through Logan's heart. He hated seeing anyone hurt and it sounded like this girl was hurt beyond repair. Like a porcelain doll that's just been dropped a few too many times for it to handle.

"What about you?" Addie quickly changed the subject.

Logan thought for a moment. He's always been the type of guy who likes who he is. His parents drilled it in his head that he was who he was and nothing was going to change that. There was no point in hating himself over it.

"I would... I would make myself a better human being." He finally said. "I used to think I was so great because I was nice to my fans but you've told me about how you went to Haiti and there are other people who give their lives away to help others. I wish I could do something like that."

Addie tilted her head. "Why can't you?"

"It's too late, I guess. I'm too busy with my job and I have barely any time to talk with my family, let alone save the world." Logan shrugged. It took him a moment before he realised how absolutely pathetic those excuses were.

Addie didn't push the subject. "If you could go back in time, what would you change?"

Logan smirked. "I thought I already asked this one?"

"No, you asked my least favorite memory. And I said I don't know if I would change it if I could." Addie shrugged. "So I guess this is more of a biggest regret than anything."

Logan let his head fall back as he thought. Sure, he had lots of regrets. He sure wouldn't go to the beach that day if he knew what was going to happen but that wasn't his biggest.

"You're going to hate me when I tell you this..." Logan grumbled under his breath before looking up to meet Addie's eyes. "A few months ago, back in Texas, I met this girl. It wasn't anything romantic, we were just friends and she was too young anyway. I kept on noticing these small things about her but I always brushed them off. Things like her hair was greasy or she smelled bad."

Judging by the look on the brunettes face, Logan could tell she had no idea where he was going with this. "I just assumed her shower was broken or something. Then I noticed how she never went to school and her ribs were always showing. I finally put together the pieces and figured out that she was homeless."

Addie's eyes widened as Logan continued. "I wish I would have given her money or something but I felt like I would just make things awkward so I pretended like I didn't know her secret. It turns out it wasn't that much of a secret. Everyone knew and a few weeks later, she got arrested. She needed the money..."

Logan sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "...I could have easily given her it."

"Logan." It took a minute but Logan finally looked up at Addie. "Don't beat yourself up over this. That girl, she didn't tell you either. If you had given her money and she still landed in prison, would you really feel any better?"

Logan thought about it. "No, I guess not. I'd still blame myself. Besides, she's not actually in prison. She's in this camp thing. I forget what it's called."

"See? I learned a long time ago that blaming yourself for something won't change anything. All you can do is try to correct your mistake and move on." Addie smiled.

"Well I can't exactly just steal her out of camp now, can I?" Logan chuckled.

"I guess not." Addie giggled. "But why don't you write to her or something?"

Logan paused. She was completely right. "Thanks Addie. Has anyone ever told you, you give good advice? You're like a wise old man...minus the man and the old part."

Addie simply laughed as Logan pulled out a pen and paper. All he could do now was hope that Tegan could read his chicken scratch when the letter reached her.

Next chapter, they're out of the hospital and hopefully, things will really get going! Review please! Reviews are what keep me going :)
