It had been weeks. Both Logan and Addie were out of their wheelchairs and Logan had been on crutches for a while, but he was now healed enough to do shows without them. Maybe not backflips, but he could do the easier dance moves. There was still around two months left of shows so he was hoping that by the end of it, he would be completely healed. At least the scars on his face had healed. Now, there were only two thin white lines, one directly under his eye and the other on his jaw.

"You ready, man?" Logan looked up to see it was James. He had a cup of tea in his hand; a ritual they had before every show. The tea cleared up their throats so they could hit the high notes easier; having a voice crack in the middle of Windows Down wasn't exactly something they wanted to happen.

"Yeah, I always get a little nervous before a show but once I get out there, I'm pumped!" Logan grinned. He couldn't begin to describe the rush he felt when he performed. It was something he wanted to feel forever! And to top it all off, he and Addie had a Skype date planned for after his show.

"Big Time Rush! Big Time Rush! Big Time Rush!" The four boys grinned simultaneously when they heard the chanting of their beloved fans.

Back in Australia, Addie was hearing the exact same chanting, only from her computer screen. She knew that she would probably never see a Big Time Rush show in real life, so she settled for the next best thing: watching it over her computer. Logan and the rest of the guys (save for Kendall) had figured out a way to stream the show live, all the way to Australia.

It took a lot of pleading and bribes, but they finally managed to convince a tech team to set up streaming to Addie's computer so she could watch the show live. So now Addie had her laptop sitting on a pillow in front of her, her body was wrapped in a warm blanket, and a cup of chai tea was warming her hands. It wasn't exactly cold in Australia, but it felt wrong if Addie wasn't curled up in a blanket while watching any form of movie.

The stage was set so there was a large drape with Big Time Rush in big letters on it. Rave lights were flashing as the music started blaring, playing a fast paced beat. "Are you ready for Big Time Rush?"

Screams.

"I wanna see y'all out of your seats! Put your hands in the air if you're ready for James!"

Louder screams.

"Carlos!"

"Logan!"

"And Kendaaaall!"

"If you are, I want y'all to put your hands together for Big. Time. Rush!"

The crowd was insane by now as the BTR drape dropped, revealing four boys, standing on large stairs that surrounded a huge trampoline. Addie's eyes immediately darted to her favorite little hospital buddy standing on one of the top steps, along with Carlos. Kendall and James were standing on the steps closer to the bottom.

The four singers were jumping, each with one hand in the air, and the other singing Windows Down in their microphones. Carlos stepped up first to sing the first part of the song and Addie couldn't help but smile. The ways his eyes lit up and how he waved to his fans; she had never seen anyone so passionate about something in her life.

Kendall sang next, something about 'pedal to the metal.' He was extremely talented and like with Carlos, she could see that unexplainable glow in his eyes as he belted out the lyrics.

And then there was Logan.

Addie had to use her hand to cover up her smile as she watched him. She was just so...proud of him. He had mentioned that he was in a band, but when Addie turned on that laptop, she hadn't expected to be hit with such talent and passion. These boys were... phenomenal. Logan's voice was so pure and strong and perfect.

Let's just make this clear that Addie was not fangirling. She was simply stating the obvious. The fact that this man who had grown to be a close friend of hers was also a star made her a little more happy inside than she should have been.

Roll the windows down, let your hair flow. Let it all go, tonight..

Woo Hoo!

For the rest of the song, Addie smiled and sang along as she watched the boys. She even screamed a little when she saw their first dance sequence. The next time Addie spoke to Logan in person, she was going to slap him right across the face! If he was going to 'mention' he was in a band, he'd better phrase it as "I'm in one/fourth of the sexiest, most talented, singing and dancing group in the twenty first century."

They even got to jump on trampolines!

T.R.A.M.P.O.L.I.N.E.S!

But Addie noticed Logan didn't jump as much as the other boys. While they all went crazy on the thing, Logan jumped maybe once or twice and Addie knew exactly why.

Immediately after the song ended, a new song began. They hollered a bit about how they'd be 'partying all night long' and all that jazz. Addie was too wrapped up in their voices to really hear the words. And the fact that a certain friend of hers stuck his tongue out at the camera the second he had the chance.

A few songs later, Logan was covered in sweat and bliss.

BTR had just finished singing 24/7 and they were now standing on the top of the set, introducing themselves.

"Before we go any further, I'd just like to introduce you all to this handsome man to my left," James patted Logan on the back, "Logan Henderson!"

"And we can't forget Carlos Pena!"

Carlos stepped up and waited for the screaming to calm down a little before pointing to his left. "And this, is my good friend Kendall Schmidt!"

Kendall basked in the glory a bit before pointing over to the guy who stared the whole chain. "Finally, tall, dark, and handsome over there is James Maslow!"

James grinned as the crowd blew up. "Before we start our next song, I wanna give a shot out to Phil, Ali, and Charity!" The crowd cheered anyway, even though half of them didn't know who those people even were. Phil and Ali and James siblings while Charity's a girl that James is interested in.

Carlos jumped in after, "Shout out to Alexa!"

Everyone knew who that was.

"Shout out to Dustin!" Kendall cheered and then it was Logan's turn. They hadn't even planned out the whole shout out thing but Logan definitely knew who he was calling out.

"I know you're watching this so shout out to my favourite cripple, Addie!" Logan grinned. The audience on the other hand had a mixed reaction. Most cheered, some didn't do anything, and others looked a little pissed. Back in Australia, Addie's jaw was on the floor and she was completely shocked. At first she was kind of terrified; Addie was not the public type. But it only took a second of seeing Logan's smile to know he only meant the best.

Besides, she was on the media for weeks, Addie should get used to the whole publicity thing.

The concert ended far too soon and Addie knew it was only going to be around another twenty minutes for Big Time Rush to finish backstage and greeting some fans before their Skype date would take place. She patiently waited and logged onto Skype. She refilled her cup of tea and sipped on it. She was really hoping that her singing and the concert hadn't woken up her parents, especially her mother.

Addie pulled out her phone and tapped on the twitter app. Her phone had blown up with notifications.

Ginarae: At BTR concert! fangirled a little when Logan gave a shout-out to A_Remm

Rusher4Life: OMG who is Charity? And are 1LoganHenderson and A_Remm dating?

TeganCarter: Fuck A_Remm

Well...not exactly all positive but nothing too horrible. It wasn't like she was getting hate from everyone and a good majority of the tweets thought it was cute and they wanted to know how close Addie and Logan really were.

Addie sent out a quick tweet, basically saying that she'd never been so impressed over anything in her life. Any Rusher at the concert would know what she was talking about. Soon after, Addie got a call on Skype from the one and only Logan Henderson. She answered it and a few moments later, a familiar face popped up on the screen.

"Well?" Logan smirked the second he saw Addie's face.

"When you said you were in a band, I was kind of expecting you to be one of those bands who sings at restaurants and proms...not some amazing boy band who sings and dances and-" Addie stopped herself, "Next time maybe clarify."

Logan chuckled. His entire face was kind of red from her rant. "Will do. So when do you think you're going to see us in person?"

Addie smiled thoughtfully. They both know that she couldn't just up and leave whenever she wanted to. Her chances of actually seeing Big Time Rush perform live was slim to none. "The next time you come to Australia?"

Logan groaned, leaning back. "But Adds, that's so long!" he whined and Addie giggled, playing with her necklace that Logan had given her six weeks ago. She tilted her head to the side and smiled.

"Well, maybe I could-"

"Who are you talking to?" Carlos jumped onto the couch that Logan was sitting on. "Oh, hey Addie! Did you like our show?"

"Yeah, you guys are really talent-"

"Oh, you're Skyping Addie?" James popped in, and jumped on the couch as well. Now it was the three of them, all squished on one screen together. Logan looked mildly amused but a little more annoyed. He was kind of hoping to talk to Addie alone instead of being sat on by those two idiots. "Scale of one to ten: how good of a singer was I?"

"Nine-point-nine." Addie answered immediately and James started fist-pumping before freezing, mid-pump.

"What! What happened to that point-one?" James screeched and Carlos covered his ears and fell off the couch from James' loud screaming. Addie laughed as Carlos' hand shot up, flashing a thumbs up sign.

"It got drown out by thousands of girls screaming." Addie joked and James flashed a smile. He could take that...

"What about me?" Carlos piped up and Addie tapped her chin thoughtfully.

"Ten."

"WHAT?!" James' screech sent Carlos jumping again.

"Just kidding! He got a nine-point-nine too!" Addie held up her hands in defense. Carlos pouted but James shot him a victorious glare.

"What about me? I mean, I even gave you a shout-out and everything!" Logan winked and Addie giggled. She shifted positions so her bad leg was crossed over top of her good one.

"Of course! You were so amazing out there and talented and- four." Addie's smile dropped the second she said the number and she gave him her best poker face. "You got four."

Logan's jaw fell while the two other boys cackled. "But...but... four?!" Addie nodded, keeping her straight face. Logan shook his head and ran his fingers through his hair, letting out a breath. "I don't know, Addie. After this, I think this is it. Friendship: over."

Addie just laughed. James lightly punched the pale singer in the arm as he pouted. He picked up his computer, stuck his nose in the air and sauntered off. "I think I'll take my business elsewhere if you two will be so mean." Logan sassed as he walked out of the room. He could faintly hear Carlos and James calling in the background 'don't leave! we love you!' and 'Addie started it!'

Logan found a secluded spot in an empty hallway where they could talk alone. He looked around once before setting his laptop down and getting into the comfiest position that he could on the linoleum floor. "So...four?"

Addie laughed and shook her head, making her little brown waves bounce around. "I was kidding, you were a solid eleven!"

Logan's eyebrows shot up at that. "So you mean you like me more than Carlos and James then?" he teased.

"I never said that! But by now, you've earned a few brownie points." Addie's hand immediately flew to the chain around her neck. "Enough about numbers - it's giving me a headache. How are you?"

As if on cue, Logan yawned, answering her question for her. "Tired."

"Should I let you go?" Addie's eyes widened. She knew he just came off and must be exhausted after the amazing show he just put on. The last thing she wanted to do was keep him up even longer just to talk. "I don't want you to be tired-"

"Nah, it's fine." Logan smiled his famous crooked grin. "I'd rather talk to you anyway."

Addie blushed as she pulled her blanket closer. Logan was such a good person...

"Let's stop talking about me. How are you?" Logan asked as he adjusted the computer so he could see Addie's face more clearly. "How's work?"

Addie's face fell. She tried to cover it up with a fake smile but Logan had seen right through it. "It's good. It's nice to be back to work and... it's been good." Logan frowned at the obvious lie. What was wrong with her?

Working as a hair stylist couldn't be that horrible, right? Maybe there are a bunch of people coming in who recognized her from the media?

"Addie, what's wrong?" Logan asked and Addie shook her head, quickly saying that nothing was wrong and everything was absolutely perfect. She clearly looked upset about something and she wasn't looking straight at Logan. She was also doing this weird thing where she would use to thumb to push back the cuticles on her pointer finger. "I can tell that you're lying, Addie."

Addie sighed, "Okay, maybe things aren't exactly perfect but it's fine. Don't worry about it."

"I've seen enough tumblr posts to know that fine really means you want to shoot yourself in the face with a rifle. Tell me what's wrong." Logan glared as her and she looked away, chewing on her lower lip. Logan felt a wave of protectiveness flood him as he waited for her to answer.

"Things just aren't... working." Addie's voice cracked at that but she quickly got her composure back as she straightened up. "It's late, you should get some rest."

"No, Addie-"

"Bye Logan..." And then the screen went black. Logan stared at it for a second before slowly closing his laptop. Addie was hurting and there was nothing he could do. How could he fix it if he was on the other side of the world?

Logan opened his laptop once again and pulled up a page for flight listings. If he couldn't help Addie in America, then he was using the few days he has off to go to Australia and make things right.

Addie sighed as she brushed her freshly straightened hair out of her face. It was the day after she had talked to Logan and she was going back to work. "Maybe today won't be so bad..." she mumbled and then snorted. "Yeah, right." Addie opened the car door and slid out of the drivers seat. She did her best to hide her limp as she walked up to the doors of Sharp Cuts.

The second she walked through the doors, Addie was greeted by the lovely face of her boss, Stan. "Wow, you actually made it to work today. No 'crocodile' attacks on the way over?" Stan snarled and Addie ducked her head.

"No sir." Addie muttered as she limped to her station. Every day for the past few weeks, Addie had been insulted and ridiculed by Stan for her limp and the entire Bessie attack. He thought the entire thing was a set up and the limp was just an excuse for Addie to slack off. Another reason was that while most of the other employees could wear short skirts and heels to work but Addie couldn't. Her legs were littered in scars and she was self conscious enough, she didn't need everyone whispering about her legs, so she wore leggings or skirts with black tights. As for the heels, it was torture on her leg to wear them.

"Hey Addie, come help me carry this." Stan ordered as he pointed to one of the new sinks they were setting up. The other workers sent sympathetic glances to Addie because they knew that Stan knew full well that Addie wouldn't be able to carry that much weight with her injuries.

"I-I can't." Addie looked down and Stan snorted.

"Figures. I shouldn't have asked someone as worthless as you to help me with anything. I don't even know why you work here, Addison! You're completely useless! First you take a month off to get over your injuries, and now you're telling me that because of these injuries, you won't be able to even perform your fucking job?" Stan snapped. "Cara, come help me lift this!"

Addie looked away, biting on her lip. It was one trauma to another...

And she wasn't sure how much she could take.
