I wrote a chapter by chapter outline for this and it's already up to 37 chapters! And I'm not even finished yet! This is going to be a very ambitious story, I can tell you that. I want to make it AT LEAST 100, 000 words. That's more writing than all of my stories combined! And I also have another Logan fic in the making, but it won't be published until I finish at least ONE of my current stories. And that's probably going to be my Warriors fic, Bounce. If you're into warriors, check it out! To any dancers out there, if you have any tips on double pirouette's PLEASE let me know! Okay, I'll stop now...

It took longer than Logan thought to actually find Addie's hair salon. He couldn't remember what it was called and actually ended up having to Google Addie to remember that it was called Sharp Cuts. After that, it was a little easier to navigate through Darwin.

The city itself made Logan uneasy. Every time he heard a siren, he could only picture himself laying on a stony beach while paramedics rushed around them. Whenever the taxi drive went even seeing distance of any body of water, Logan had to ask him to pick a new route. It took twice as long to navigate through the busy city but soon enough, he was standing outside Sharp Cuts.

It was a polished salon. It wasn't like Addie at all but if his memory and the Internet proved correctly, this is definitely where he would find his best friend. He opened the door and stepped in, letting the smell of lavender and hairspray hit him. The salon was decorated in black and white with shiny black floors, white walls with abstract painting hanging off. Chandeliers hung from the ceiling and Logan had to admit, the place was nice.

"Hi, I'm Cara. How can I help you?" A skinny brunette with smoky eyes asked. She was standing behind the counter, typing something into her computer.

"Uh, is Addie Remington here?" Logan asked politely. The girl still hadn't looked up.

"Do you have an appointment?" Cara continued to tap away on her computer, not paying a single thought to Logan. The pop star glanced around the salon. There was a pile of unpaid bills on Cara's desk and the salon itself was almost completely empty.

"No."

"Sorry, appointment only." Cara answered and finally looked up at Logan. The second she saw his face, she froze. "But if you happen to be the same guy who saved an employees life, I'm sure we could work something out."

"That's a strange policy." Logan joked. "But it just so happens that I did in fact save an employees life."

Cara glanced back to see some of the people were watching Logan with curiosity and recognition. "She's in the back, probably mixing dyes. Why don't you take a seat at her station and I'll go tell her someone came in with desperate need of a cut and requested her." Cara pointed to an empty chair. There were a few pictures hanging off the side of the mirror.

Logan sat down in the chair and examined the pictures. One was of Addie, looking a little bit younger, next to an older woman and her father. Another was of Addie, wearing a baggy hoodie and holding a baby in her arms. And finally, was one of her and Logan, both in wheelchair and smiling at the camera. Logan swiveled in the chair to see a familiar brunette limping out of a back room, holding a bowl of dye in one hand.

Logan immediately stood up and waited for Addie to spot him. Her focus was on Cara and she glanced at Logan before turning back to Cara. It took her a moment before she froze, slowly turned back to Logan and gasped. The bowl of dye dropped out of her hands and shattered on the ground as her hands came up to cover her mouth.

Addie jumped in Logan's arms as she squeezed him tightly. Logan wrapped his arms around her and laughed as she buried her face in the crook of his neck. "Missed you too." he chuckled.

Addie pulled away a moment later, still with a ghost of a smile on her face. "Oh my gosh! What are you doing here?" Addie asked in one breath. Her arms were still wrapped around his neck and his were still resting on her hips.

"My hair needs an emergency trim." Logan said seriously. Addie's eyebrow shot up but she didn't say anything. "...And I wanted to visit you and maybe find out what's wrong with my best friend."

Addie's eyes widened and her hands fell from Logan's neck as she lightly slapped his chest. "Logan! You can't just fly to Australia whenever I'm-"

"Addie!" Addie whipped around to see a balding man storming towards her. "Did you break that bowl and waste that dye?"

"Uh, yes sir, but-"

"Clean it up! And leave money at the front desk for what you've thrown away." With that, Stan stormed away, leaving Logan confused and Addie on her knees, picking up broken shard of the bowl.

"That was...harsh." Logan muttered under his breath. The guy must have been Addie's boss and judging from the lack of clients, he was just having a rough day. "You need any help?"

"No, it's fine. I got this." Cara said as she shooed Addie away and started cleaning up. Addie smiled gratefully at Cara and motioned for Logan to sit down in the black leather chair. She glanced back at Stan to see he was still watching her closely. Addie turned back to Logan and began running her fingers through his hair.

"My word child, I've never actually seen a guy with so many split ends before." Addie muttered to herself and Logan chuckled. She pulled out a pair of scissors and began lightly trimming the ends of his hair.

"Now, let's get down to business." Logan said seriously. "What made you so upset?"

"Logan, it was nothing! Honestly, I don't want you spending all your money flying over here whenever I have a bad day!" Addie said, sighing. "I mean, I am ecstatic that you're here, but I don't want to be a burden on you."

"First, you aren't a burden on me, and second, I'm already here so you may as well tell me!" Logan argued. Instead, Addie simply walked away. It took him a second to realise that she was just grabbing some hair products and wasn't just leaving.

Logan couldn't help but notice how evident her limp was. He knew it was going to be bad but it was almost like she could barely put any weight on it at all. She also winced a little whenever she stepped on it. She had been on it all say that day and she didn't really have any time to rest. When she came back, Logan stopped her. "Hey, Addie, sit down. You look like you're in a lot of pain."

"Yeah but-"

"Addie!" For the second time, both turned to see Stan looking pissed. "You haven't done anything yet! So why don't you stop pretending to be hurt or injured and get to work! Oh wait! What now? Did you get attacked by a shark? Or maybe a tiger!" Stan scoffed and leaned a little closer. "Wait, I bet it's a rabbit, because that's all it takes to make you cry!"

"What the fuck?" Logan stood up, his hands in fists and his eyes were dark with rage. How long had this guy been treating her like this? Addie's face was pale as she glanced between the two men. Everyone in the salon had stopped to watch the spectacle. Nobody looked that surprised though; they all recognized Logan the second he stepped through that door and Stan had it coming.

"Excuse me sir, but this is strictly between me and my employee. This doesn't concern you, so please take a seat." Stan nodded to the seat as he crossed his arms.

"Actually, it does concern me!" Logan roared. Stan opened his mouth to say something but in that moment, he saw the picture behind the popstar's head of Logan and Addie. His face paled and it was like he realised that maybe Addie hadn't been bullshitting him after all. "You can't treat her like that! You can't belittle and ridicule Addie like she's not even human! And in front of people too? Well, fuck you! I'll sue you for everything you own, and right now, it doesn't look like you have enough!"

With that, Logan picked Addie up bridal style and stormed out the door. Just before the were completely out of hearing range, Addie twisted in Logan's arms and screamed, "I quit!" The last thing they heard before the door shut behind them was the applause of the small crowd that had gathered to watch.

Logan carried Addie a little ways down the sidewalk before finally setting her down. She had this huge, shit-eating grin on her face as she high fived Logan. "That was awesome! Now I never have to work for that asshole again!" Suddenly her smile fell. "Shit... I don't have a job..."

Logan's face paled as well as he watched Addie start to pace back and forth. "I don't have a job... I'm going to be broke! I won't be able to pay for my mom's medical bills and we'll have no place to live... I have to go back! I have to try to get my job back!" Addie started limping in the direction of the salon when Logan grabbed her by the waist and held her back.

"No, no, no. There is no way in hell I'm letting you go back there. We'll figure something out, Addie." Logan reassured her. What they would figure out exactly? He wasn't sure, but there was no way he was letting Addie go back to a place where she was getting verbally abused.

"Figure what out? I need a place near home and no salon is going to want to hire someone so young and with a messed up leg." Addie said, chewing on her thumb nail. "This is bad. This is really bad..."

"Addie, it's fine. You'll get a better job! With better pay. I'm pretty sure that a place like that doesn't have the best salary anyway." Logan tried, massaging her shoulders.

"But it was something... Logan, if I could sing and dance for a living, then trust me, I would. But it turns out I'm basically tone deaf and I have two left feet. I take what I can get and Sharp Cuts is what I can get." Addie said seriously and she twisted her hair in her fingers.

"Too bad, you could have been a fifth member of BTR." Logan joked lightly, making Addie crack a smile. "Having you on tour would have been so much fun too. I mean, do you know how much shit we could get away with by using the excuse, 'We're cripples, we don't know what we're doing- OH MY GOSH, I'M A GENIUS!"

Addie yelped and jumped back at his sudden outburst as Logan took a solid minute just fist pumping and screaming like an idiot. Finlly, he calmed down enough to explain to Addie what the hell was going on. "One of BTR's hair stylists is going on maternity leave soon and management is doing everything they can to try keep her there until the end of tour! If you come work for us, then you get triple the pay, you don't have to pay for rent since you'll be travelling all the time and you'll be closer to me and the guys!"

Addie hesitated. "Are you sure? I mean, can you really just hire me on the spot like that?"

"I can call management right now!" Logan said and without another word, pulled out his phone and dialed his manager's number. "Hey Phil, okay so I found this really awesome, cool hair stylist who would love to work for us! ...Addie Remington...Yes, I suppose she's the same Addie from Australia... NO, I am not sleeping with her! ... I'm in Australia right now." Logan yanked his phone away from his ear as loud screaming came out of it. "Calm down! I'm heading back today!... So is that a yes?"

"Great, I'll tell the guys!" Logan ended his call and sent a quick text out to Carlos, explaining the whole situation. "You're hired."

Addie gasped and pulled Logan in for a tight hug. "Thank you! I can't believe you would do that for me! I have to go tell my parents!"

As Addie freaked out, Logan got a text from Carlos. Great! Me and James thinks it's awesome but Kendall isn't so happy.

Logan glanced up to see Addie with her phone pressed to her ear and talking excitedly to her father. This could just possibly be horrible for her... Because when Kendall hates someone, he really hates them.

"Don't thank me just yet." Logan muttered under his breath as he forced a smile on his face and started telling Addie about the tour.

A/N: Not as long as the last one but I didn't want to write a bunch of random stuff just to fill up the word count. Review!
