A/N: So I have not been very good in getting this story written and I apologize for that. I've been thinking about this story during the past week and logged into my account to see someone messaged me about it and that pushed me to start it up again. So there will be more updates in the future. I would love to finish this story out.
I'm making a few slight changes to the story, mainly regarding my main character and how she and Mia split their days working at the cafe. First off, I changed her name from Nicole to Alexandria, Alex for short. Nicole is a good name but I wanted something more prettier, if that makes sense. Also when I write a story I always picture someone playing them and let that be known instead of relying only on a description. I've changed that actress a couple times already but this new one will stick because she's the perfect person I think to portray her and I didn't even have to think about it once I thought of her. Emmanuelle Chirqui will be the actress to portray Alex Toretto. Everything else about her that I have in my head and the storyline for her is still the same.
In the beginning of the story I introduced her as being a surfer and meeting one of her friends at the beach. I've decided to bring her friend further into the story and have her as another main character and she will be portrayed by Schuyler Fisk.
Sometime within the next week I'll be tweaking the first two chapters just a little bit but it won't be necessary to read them if you'd rather continue on from here. For the most part, everything is the same. Just a little added depth. When I have them uploaded I will be sure to include it in my next note for you guys.
Now that I've rambled, on to the next chapter.

Alexandria walked down the stairs, her purse and a small duffel bag over her shoulder. Her hair had already been done in waves and some of her silver jewelry around her neck, fingers and wrist. She was wearing a simple t-shirt, shorts and sandals.
Mia and Letty were nowhere in sight. They were still in their respective rooms finishing getting ready for the races later that night. All the men were in the living room, playing their video games while they waited for the girls to finish.
Jesse, who had finished his turn at the game a few minutes prior, noticed she had come down the stairs, underdressed for the races. "You know we're going to the races, not the beach tonight, right?"
Alex laughed a little. "Ha ha Jesse. I do know we're going to the races, I'm going over to get ready at Kristen's."
At the mention of this, Dom who had been next to Jesse listening, stood up. "Why don't you go with one of us? I'd rather not have to worry about you or not be able to find you and keep an eye on you."
"I'll be fine. Her brother's going, Dom." Alex told him, sighing. Alex wasn't completely into the races but she went most of the time. Every time she did go though, her friend went with her. Her brother was into street racing and even raced himself a couple of times. "Besides everyone knows I'm related to you. No one will even want to try something with me."
After Alex staring at him for a few seconds, that seemed like minutes, he spoke. "Fine."
She smiled, her eyes lighting up. She was nineteen which meant she could do whatever she wanted but it was always easier and better to get approval from her brother. "Thank you." She moved closer to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "I'll see you later." And with that she walked out the door, giving a quick wave to the rest of the guys in the room.

Alex stood next to the eldest Ritter's car, her friend Kristen by her side. Alex stood dressed in tight white shorts and a sparkly silver tank top, flat sandals adorned her feet. Kristen had light jeans on and a basic black t-shirt on. Unlike all the other women that came to these races, they wore simple clothes that didn't show everything they had to offer.
As a green and blue Mitsubishi pulled up, a tall blonde man got out and Alex instantly recognized him as the guy that went to her family's cafe every afternoon. She nudged Kristen, who had been talking to a couple guys next to them.
"Huh?" She asked her friend as she looked in the direction of Alex's focus.
"That's the guy that Mia's interested in. Pretty cute. But Vince has a problem with it." She said as the annoyance came across as she finished what she was saying. Kristen was the only person who knew of her interest in her brother's best friend. And she knew how much Vince was into Mia.
"You might want to think about letting that go and finding someone to help you get over him. Might be healthier?"
The brunette laughed. "It's not unhealthy. I go out with other people."
"You should just tell him already. You never know unless you get it out in the open."
A few seconds later the crowd gathered around moved to the sides, which only meant one thing. Dom and the rest of them were here. She watched as they neared the end and they each got out of their cars.
Everyone stood behind Dom, with the exception of Vince who sat on the hood of his car. She was reminded of Vince's jealousy when Brian mentioned he could box and Vince knew it. After a few more words, Dom and the rest of the guys racing that night, got into their cars to drive to the spot. With that, the four of them lined their cars up for the short race ahead of them.
A/N: Yes this chapter is shorter than I intended it to be, but I've had this for awhile and decided to just post it and work the rest into the next chapter. Hopefully you like it and I promise the next chapter will be good. Thinking there might be a little something to happen between Vince and Alex, or at least the start of something.
