Author's Note: So sorry for how long it's been since I updated. I had about half of this chapter written but wanted to get the Vince/Alex thing set up a good way. Also was planning on including the actual racing part but since there's not much that is really needed for this story with Alex I decided not to include it and get an update up for you all. Thank you for all who have reviewed and added my story to their favorites.

"It's Friday night. Why are you up here doing your homework?" Alexandria asked as she entered Mia's room without knocking.
Looking up from her textbook, Mia and looked at her younger sister, a beer in her hand. "You're underage. Why are you drinking?" she asked her, a smirk on her face.
Alex laughed. "Who cares? I'm in my own house, I'm not going anywhere." She made her way to her sister's bed and took a seat. "So really, Mi, why aren't you downstairs?"
"Am I ever?"
She shook her head no. "Good point." After a few moments of quiet, Alex spoke up again. "Dom still isn't home yet you know. I hope he's not in any trouble."
Without looking up from her homework she had gone back to, she responded. "I'm sure he's fine. He always is."
The younger Toretto just nodded.
"Where did Kristen go?"
Alex swallowed the sip of beer she just took and then answered her sister. "She left shortly after coming here," she started, "Think she said something about seeing Rick. Told her she shouldn't go back to him but I can only advise her." She finished explaining as she brought the Corona bottle to her lips for another sip, finishing it in the process.
"Well," Alex started as she got up off of Mia's bed, "I'm all out. Time for a refill."
As she made her way closer to the door, the girls heard the sound of a car door closing and then voices. It sounded like Dom and Brian, the guy that visited the cafe everyday. She stopped in her tracks and turned around to see Mia had gotten up as well. After a few more seconds and the invite from Dom for Brian for a beer, she saw Mia whisper "oh shit" and start to change.
Alex laughed. "Guess you're joining the party for once." With that, Alex left the bedroom and proceeded downstairs.

"That shit was orchestrated." Alex heard Vince say as she got closer to the bottom of the stairs. As she reached the bottom step, she continued to the living room, eager to see what was going on before she went to grab another beer.
She couldn't hear what Dom or Vince were saying after that but she did see Dom take Vince's beer and then turn around just as Brian entered the crowded house. She nodded slightly to him, her way of saying hi.
Dom made his way towards them, both beers in his hand. He held them out, telling Brian he could have any brew as long as it's a Corona. As she heard Dom say Brian had picked Vince's, she looked up towards him, the anger clearly showing on Vince's face.
Brian made a comment about having to use the bathroom and then went upstairs. As Vince, Leon and Jesse made there way to the living room, Alex did the same, resting her back against one of the columns.
She listened to them saying they didn't know the new guy which Dom answered back with there being a time he didn't know Vince. She had to admit, Vince had a point when he said that was back in the third grade, but Alex also knew Mia was into Brian, and he was into her. Maybe she could finally get Vince to see her the way she's seen him.
Alex's thoughts were interrupted when Letty convinced Dom to take her upstairs. As they passed by, Brian came back down and she knew things weren't going to go too well with the four men in the room. And she was right. Vince made a comment to him about wiping the seat.
As Alex was debating on whether or not to go upstairs to get Dom, Mia came to Brian's rescue and offered them to get drinks for themselves. She quietly thanked her.
Jesse shortly went back to the girl he had been dancing with moments before, Leon back to the girl that had been sitting in his lap and Vince continued to stand there, looking in the direction Brian and Mia had gone to. She slowly made her way over, bringing her empty beer bottle into view.
"I need a refill. Want to come with me and get one?" She asked him, hoping to get him to forget about Brian being in the house. She waited a few seconds before he answered.
"Sure."
They made their way to the kitchen, Alex opening the refrigerator door, grabbed two Corona's off of the shelf and opened them. She gave one to Vince and kept the other for herself.
After a few seconds of silence that seemed like minutes, she opened her mouth to speak. "Do a few shots with me?"
"Why not."
Alex smiled, putting her beer down on the counter behind her. Opening the refrigerator once more, she took out the bottle of tequila and grabbed two of the empty shot glasses next to the sink. With her back facing Vince, she poured the contents of the bottle into each glass, filling up to the rim. "You don't need the salt and lime do you? Because I really don't feel like going the extra mile," she said, a slight laugh in her voice. "But if you do, I suppose I can get it ready."
Vince shook his head. "That's not necessary," he told her as he walked closer to her in order to get his shot glass.
Each of them picked up their glass, clinked them together and then took their shot.

It was now two in the morning and most of the party had gone down. Brian and been polite and left earlier rather than trying to get anywhere with Mia. Dom and Letty had been upstairs the entire night, only going back down to grab a few more drinks. Jesse finally listened and brought the girl he was with to his room. Leon, Vince and Alex were the only ones who lived at the house that were still awake.
Leon had been in the living room, waiting for the last few people to leave before locking the door and taking the girl he was with towards his own room. As he entered the kitchen he saw Alex and Vince. Alex was sitting on the counter, Vince leaning on the kitchen table. "Thought you guys were asleep. Haven't seen you since earlier."
Alex shook her head, clearly drunk. "Nope. Shots," she said as she laughed and leaned her head back.
Leon shook his head and continued making his way downstairs, leading the girl to their destination.
Vince got up from leaning on the kitchen table. He made his way towards Alex, taking the bottle next to her and putting it away. "Think you've had enough."
"How are you not as drunk as I am?"
Vince smirked. "I'm bigger. I'm drunk, just not as much as you."
Alex stared at Vince as he finished putting away what they had used. She was drunk but not completely to the point where she couldn't think or know what she was doing. She liked him and if she finally made a move and kissed him now, she knew she could blame it on the alcohol if things didn't go the way she wanted it to.
"Alright, off the counter." Said Vince, as he got closer to her to help her off the counter and get her to her room upstairs before he went to bed.
Vince put his hand towards her so she could use him to get off the counter safely in her state. With that, she grabbed his arm and pulled him a little closer, kissing him on the lips.
Their lips stayed locked, Alex grabbing him closer to her so that he was now standing in between her legs. Vince put his hands on either side of her, his left hand on the counter, his right one on her waist. A few minutes later, Vince broke their kiss, moving back a few steps. "We shouldn't be doing this."
Alex looked right at him, disappointed he broke apart only to say they shouldn't be doing this. "Why not." She knew he liked Mia and would make out with her the first chance he got so why was it any different for them?
"You're Dom's baby sister. He's extremely protective over you and he'd kill me if he found out."
Alex wanted to ask him why he tried with Mia if that were the case but she knew bringing that up right now wouldn't be the way to go. Instead she decided to bring up Mia and Brian, which probably wasn't ideal at this time either but it was better than the other. "Dom didn't say anything about Mia tonight."
Vince sighed, remembering how Mia went off with Brian for the night. "Yeah well that was after he went upstairs and he's even more protective when it comes to you, believe me. You're the baby of the family."
Alex crossed her arms. "Don't call me that."
"Let's just get you to bed." Vince got closer to her again to help her off the counter. "Come on, hop down."
Alex listened to Vince and got down off the counter, using Vince to help her balance when her feet touched the floor. Alex began walking to the kitchen exit but then stopped and turned around, right into Vince's chest. She stepped back and looked up at him. "Let me stay with you tonight? Please?"
Vince shook his head. "Now that is a bad idea."
Alex rolled her eyes. "No it's not. I did it all the time when I was younger. Remember when I had my bad dreams? It's the same thing."
Vince laughed. "No it's not."
"It's just to cuddle. Please? What if I don't feel good during the night?" Alex put her hands together and gave him the best pleading look she could muster up. It was a little hard considering the room seemed to not stay still.
"Fine," Vince replied, giving in to the girl in front of him. "I'm carrying you downstairs though. I have a feeling you might fall if you attempt it."
Note: There you go. I knew I wanted them to kiss at that point for awhile just not sure how far or what else would happen, if anything. Also decided to go with what someone had said about them being closer when they were younger and have put that in a little bit so I'll include some more into their past further in the story. Hope you guys like it!
