Chapter 12: A New Beginning
"Ok human I have a very simple challenge for you" Neji raised his hand at Naruto. "A duel"
Naruto smiled. "oh,"
"Simple rules, first to throw their enemy on their back wins"
"Simple"
"They have to be," Neji commented swimming towards Kiba leaving an annoyed Naruto behind.
'Finally I will get rid of some of this pent-up frustration', Naruto punched his fist,'all over his smug face'.
"Kiba you will referee," Neji called out and Kiba nodded and stood up, Naruto and Neji started to swim to their spot at the center of the ring.
"Wait Neji" Hinata called out and everyone turned to her. "Isn't it a bit unfair that its a fighting competition, I mean Naruto is not used to the underwater pressure nor is he used to the new way of moving down here"
"Its alright I can beat him anywhere" Naruto yelled.
"I does not seem that he has a problem with the challenge lady Hinata", Hinata stared down at him with a sad look and Neji sighed. "But I am a fair merman I will not use my gentle fist against him", Hinata smiled and Neji turned away swimming towards the center again.
"Ok ready", Kiba yelled now that both of them were at the center.
Naruto's and Neji's eyes met, Naruto raised his balled fist and Neji raised his hands and curled his tail down.
"Begin"
Neji swam forward first landing a hit on Naruto's chest sending him flying backwards. Naruto caught himself before he landed on the sand. He then moved forward and the fight began. Neji would attack and Naruto would either counter or dodge. When Naruto would attack Neji would counter or dodge. Even though Naruto was not used to the new environment he seemed to be handling himself very well.
From the sidelines everyone watched. Hinata held her hands before her, her heart pounding in anticipation over who the winner would be. Yet even with all this excitement she suddenly let out loud yawn.
"What's wrong Hinata are you not entertained" Kiba said looking up at Hinata as she covered her mouth with her hand as her mouth stretched open and invisible tears formed in her eyes.
"No that's not it its just I'm suddenly very tired", Hinata then realized she had not gotten a good amount of sleep in the past 3 days.
"Is it because Naruto kept you up most of the nights you were over there" Ino said giggling to herself .
"What?" Kiba asked
"D-don't listen to her she's... m-making things up", Hinata stuttered blushing heavily.
"Ohh am I, what about how you two shared a bed the second night you were over there" Ino said
Back in the fight Neji had gotten a good hold on Naruto and was slowly pushing him to the floor while Naruto struggled to get back up.
"Give up human its no use fighting the inevitable"
"No way, I said would win and I never go back on my word"
"You barely met her 3 days ago how can you go on saying things like loving her you don't even know anything about her".
"Then I'm ready spend the rest of my life learning everything about her ", Neji was taken aback by Naruto's confident answer and by the determination in his eyes.
"I-I don't know what you're talking about" Hinata blushed and looked away from them.
"All I saw from the beach is you climbing into his room. I don't know what you did behind close doors"
"Ino!"
"WAIT YOU TWO SLEPT TOGETHER" Kiba shouted.
Neji heard him and was caught off guard by his comment. "WHAT" the glanced over to where they were sitting. He saw Kiba waving his arms frantically up and down, "YOU BARELY MET HIM", he yelled. Neji looked towards Hinata as she sat on the pedestal hiding her face, blushing brightly.
"Whats going on", Neji let go of Naruto shocked by what he was hearing.
Naruto noticed how unguarded he was and took advantage of it. He bent down and with all his strength he kicked upwards and punched Neji on the chin sending him flying. Neji landed a few yards away. Everyone looked in shock.
"Did he just…..win" Kiba asked.
"He did! Naruto won" Ino squealed.
"This is quite surprising" Shino said.
Hinata got off of her throne and swam as fast as she could to Naruto. "Naruto"
Naruto turned to her and opened his arms letting he swim into them. She wrapped her arms around his body and he too gave her a strong squeeze, feeling her so close to him caused butterflies to flutter in his stomach. Naruto separated enough to look down at her face. "I told you I would win"
Hinata looked up at his face and stared into his eyes. She smiled at him,"I knew you would win". Naruto stared down at her. His eyes wondered over her face, looking into her eyes then slowly started traveling down to her lips.
Kiba and Shino had swam to Neji who still laid on the ground. "Hey Neji you all right. Hey Neji", Kiba waved his hand over Neji's face but Neji did not attempt to get up.
Hinata heard them and looked away from Naruto right when he was about to bend down to her. She pushed Naruto away and swam towards Neji. Naruto watched her go feeling a bit peeved.
"Pff" Naruto looked to his side and there Ino stood giggling at the sight she had just witnessed.
"Shut up", Naruto swam to Neji , Ino followed snickering to herself.
"Brother are you alright", Hinata bent down by him curling her tail under her and grabbed his hand.
Neji sat up and sighed running his finger's through his hair. "I'm just worried about you"
"Don't be I'll be alright"
"Yeah... but you don't even know him very well" Hinata squeezed Neji's hand
"Then I'll have to spend plenty of time with him to get to know everything about him", Neji smirked remembering Naruto's words. "Ok I'll accept it", Hinata beamed and wrapped her arms around her cousin.
"Thank you" she whispered she hated the idea of having to choose between family and love, so she was extremely happy that that was no longer an issue, Neji smiled and patted her back.
Neji looked up at Naruto who had finally made his way to the circle around him. "Listen here hum… Naruto if you hurt Hinata again I will not hesitate to end you and bring her back down here again got that."
"I would never hurt her"
"I'm keeping you to that promise", Kiba said and wrapped an arm around Naruto's shoulder.
Hinata seperated from Neji and looked up and Naruto and Kiba then giggled at the sight of them together. When brought her hand to cover her mouth then felt the little squid on her wrist brush against her skin. "Oh, Neji can you take this off now"
Neji looked at her wrist remembering he had placed it there when he took her back on the beach. "oh right" Neji grabbed the head of the little creature and it let go of Hinata, then released the small squid.
"What was that" Naruto asked as he watched the little black squid swim away.
"That is a special type of cephalopod known only to the merpeople down here in our kingdom. It has a special ability to be able to manipulate the circulation of chakra in a merperson's body rendering them incapable of physical combat" Shino answered. Naruto stared blankly at him.
"I'm assuming Neji put that on Hinata so she could not fight back when he took her", Kiba said separating from Naruto.
"Oh. How does it work? "
"I just told you how it did are you really that dull" Naruto glared at Shino who just simply adjusted his glasses.
"It basically blocks your chakra so you cant fight"
"Oh that makes sense…but why would Hinata need that"
"Naruto the Hyuuga are known all over the sea for their martial art form, Hinata is the next in line for the throne she is required to master their unique fighting style. Neji did not want to confront her back on the beach so he put that on her so she would not put up so much of a fight" Ino said
Hinata rubbed the spot where the squid had been then looked up only to realize her friends were staring at her. She smiled at them then helped Neji to stand up. Naruto stared nervously at Hinata, memories of an angry Sakura attacking him started filling his head he then felt a jab at his ribs he turned to face Kiba.
"Don't worry I've never seen Hinata even furrow her brow in anger she probably does not have a mean bone in her" Naruto sighed in relief. Kiba started going through his memories trying to remember a time Hinata ever lost her temper. "Yeah probably". Naruto was about to ask Kiba what that meant but Hinata grabbed his hand and claimed his attention. Hinata hovered over him a warm smile on her face.
"Come on Naruto I want to show you my home" Naruto swam up to face her and she started leading him away from the group.
"Wait where are you going!", Neji yelled he tried swimming after them but Ino and Kiba held him back. Hinata and Naruto stopped and stared at him struggling to get free.
"Don't worry brother I'm just going to show him around"
"Naruto you better keep your hands to yourself I mean it"
"I'll make sure to keep them in appropriate places" Naruto said as he wrapped an arm around Hinata's shoulder. Neji glared at Naruto and tried to get up again but Kiba and Ino pinned him down to the sand.
"Leave them alone, you owe them some alone time", Kiba said. Neji glared at Naruto then gave up his struggle. Hinata and Naruto nodded at each other then swam off.
Naruto and Hinata swam hand in hand, Hinata then led him to an arc made of coral. Naruto looked out and before 2 great walls of coral parted then expanded into a large circle in side the walls of coral a few flickering lights glittered. Large round stones line the walls of the coral walls with colorful undersea plants around them.
"What is that" Naruto asked squinting his eyes at the gathering of stones below him. The flickering lights seemed to be moving.
"Its the village" Hinata answered.
"The village?" Naruto looked down again and realized that the large stones where actually houses and the lights were actually merfolk swimming. Those are more merfolk", Naruto said amazed by this entire civilization that was living just off shore of his home. Hinata watched Naruto's eyes roam over her home a warm feeling growing in her chest. Suddenly a large shadow passed over them. Naruto looked up and his mouth dropped as a large shark passed over them.
"I-is t-that a shark" Naruto said stuttering as a shiver of fear ran down his spine.
"Its ok Naruto" Hinata placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder."They rarely cause problems", she looked at the shark it seemed to be going about its own business but she still decided to play it safe. She grabbed Naruto's hand and pulled. "Come on, there's someplace else I really want to show you".
Hinata taking the lead was steering them towards her private garden. "This is my favorite spot in the castle grounds", she said as she spotted the colorful plants grow closer.
"Wow look at this place" Naruto looked around and suddenly realized that this was the place he saw in his dream. Everything he saw then was here the stones, the fish and the girl. Naruto squeezed Hinata's hand and she smiled at him.
"Hey whats that" Naruto pointed at a gate at the back of her garden surrounded by long strands of kelp.
"Oh that's a maze"
"Huh"
"Come on there's plenty more to see" Hinata swam forward.
"Hey whats this weird fish" Naruto asked staring at a striped, spiky fish.
"That's a lion-fish"
"Wow" Naruto reached out to it.
"Ahh don't touch it" Hinata said as she grabbed his hand. "The spikes are poisonous"
"Gahh", Naruto backed away from the deadly fish and bumped into the coral reef behind him.
"Naruto be careful of the-"
"GAHH" Naruto yelled as the head of a moray eel popped out of a hole in the coral and snapped at him. Naruto swam behind Hinata and watched as the eel swam back into the hole.
"the eel", Hinata giggled and Naruto sighed.
"Is there anything that wont hurt me"
"Hmm the turtles are pretty nice", Hinata said pointing out the 3 sea turtles that lived in her garden. Naruto swam up to them and they swam slowly around him.
"Hey these are pretty cool" Naruto said pointing at them.
"Naruto don't point or they will" suddenly one of the turtles snapped its mouth towards Naruto's finger. Naruto backed away on time and swam back to Hinata.
"Everything wants to kill me" Naruto said a feeling of gloom surrounding him. 'I must look so uncool'. Noticing his gloomy self Hinata pecked Naruto's cheek.
"I'm not", she said and started swimming away from him. Naruto's mood immediately changed and he followed her.
"Naruto look here these wont try to kill you, and they sorta remind me of you too", Hinata said when she stopped in front of a small branchy plant. Naruto kneelled next to her and followed her gaze to these little bright yellow creatures in the branches. Hinata extended a finger to one the little things and it wrapped its tail around it.
"What are they", Naruto asked staring at the fish on her hand. It had a long nose and a small curved body it kinda looked familiar.
"They are sea horses" Hinata extended her finger towards him and he lifted one of his own the little sea horse then swam on to his member.
'That's it they look like, horses' Naruto thought as hr stared at the little fish in his hands. " So I'm guessing its the color that makes you think of me"
"Maybe" Hinata said. Naruto looked up and suddenly realized how close they were.
"N-naruto?", Hinata blushed looked at Naruto when she noticed he had stopped talking. He seemed to be staring at her very intensely she suddenly felt a shiver go down her spine. Naruto slowly started moving his head towards her, as his lips neared her, he closed his eyes and waited for their lips to crash together but after a few moments he did not feel anything he opened his eyes to find himself alone.
"Hinata?", a quite giggle entered his ear and he turned towards the entrance of the maze there Hinata stood. She had her hand over her mouth covering a mischievous smile. She gave him a quick wink before disappearing into the maze. "So its going to be like that huh" Naruto said out loud and gently placed the sea horse back on the plant and made his way towards the entrance of the maze. As he entered a giggle echoed through the walls of kelp.
"You'll have to earn it"
"What was all the work I put into the challenges for", Naruto yelled stopping at a dead end and turning around.
"This is my challenge"
"What if I just swim over the maze and find you that way"
"You will be disqualified and you wont get your prize", her voice seemed really close and Naruto swam faster. He rounded a corner and saw a flash of lavender, he smirked and quickly followed it quietly nearing his prey. Hinata swam elegantly forward twirling her body about, her tail flowing behind in waves of transparent purple. Her heart was filled with glee as she continued swimming completely oblivious of her stalker. Although she was within arms reach Naruto followed her watching her swim. She was so beautiful, the way the light glittered off her scales her, the long streaks her hair created as it floated around her, she was a brilliant jewel of the sea. 'She gave that up to be with me', Naruto smiled and his heart began to beat faster.
"Oh", Hinata had reached a dead end and turned around only to bump into Naruto. He latched on to her wrist with a wicked grin.
"Got you"
Naruto held onto Hinata, she smiled and raised her hands up to his face running her fingers along his birth marked whiskers, "looks like you did", she tried to suppress the excitement inside her but it felt like her hearts was going to burst.
He looked deep into her eyes then pulled her to his body feeling the curves of her body under his arms as he placed his hands on the small of her back and the back of her neck gently but firmly holding her close. Their faces were milometers apart, his nose grazed her cheek as their lips brush against each other. Naruto's pent up feelings flooded out and he bent down, his lips finally meeting hers.
Their lips pressed against each other hungrily as each tried to get closer to the other. Hinata was starting to feel light headed as she caressed his face and their kiss deepened. Naruto to was losing himself in the kiss, he had been holding himself back but now all reason seemed to fly out the window, suddenly he felt an odd feeling he had never felt before and out of an odd instinct he wrapped his tail around Hinata's. She suddenly gasped, a low moan escaping her mouth then pulled away from the kiss and a deeper shade of red covered her cheeks. Naruto tried to continue their kiss but Hinata looked away. "Hinata?"
"N-naruto this is a bit soon isnt it? A-and we are outside if someone sees us...", Hinata was breathing heavily and Naruto looked at her face her eyes were hooded and her gaze averted . He was confused at why she was acting so strange it was just a kiss but he did not want to make her uncomfortable and untangled himself from her and held her hands. "OK if you want to taking things slow its fine".
Hinata smiled her blush lightening to a light pink and lead Naruto back to the castle to find her friends.
"Hey Naruto so did you do anything interesting while away" Ino asked giggling to herself. Everyone was gathered in Hinata's room as she was saying her good byes to her friends she also seemed to be discussing something else with them but Naruto was currently too distracted to listen.
"No we did not do anything inappropriate"
"Wait a second you would not even know would you"
"What?"
"he he" Ino had a slight blush on her cheeks and started thinking. "how do I explain this"
"Explain what"
She motioned for Naruto to get closer to her and he bent his head down. she then started whispering into his ear, "you see when mermaid and a merman love each other very much...".
When she finished Naruto froze. He felt his face start to heat up. 'WHAT DID I DO' Naruto was as red as a tomato and covered his face with his hand leaning against the wall.
"Naruto?" Ino asked. "You didn't actually... uhhh you know"
"NO...well I think I didn't", Naruto repeatedly slammed his head against the wall. 'idiot idiot idiot'. Naruto turned around and stared at Hinata she turned to face him smiling and waved her hand at him. He blushed again and looked away leaving Hinata confused over his odd behavior.
"Ok are you ready" Naruto asked as Hinata and Ino stood next to him outside of the castle. Hinata looked up at the balcony where Neji, Kiba and Shino stood with a final wave the were off back to the surface.
"Ok Naruto when we get to the surface me and Hinata have to be the ones to get out first OK"
"why?"
"uhh mermaid stuff you would not understand"
"what do you me-" Ino swam up to Hinata and covered her mouth
"Right"Ino said emphasizing the word, Hinata was a bit confused but nodded anyway wondering what she had planned for when they got out of the water.
Hinata and Ino now sat on a hidden beach near the castle drying themselves while Naruto waited for Ino's signal to get out of the water.
"So your not staying", Hinata asked as she twisted her hair and let the water slide down her fingers.
"I'll be around I kinda like the dark haired boy in the castle"
"Sasuke?"
"yeeeeah" Ino said sighing. Finally they were dry and had legs now. Hinata sat on the sand in only her sweater and felt a bit exposed it was an odd feeling to have skin under her waist. Ino on the other hand was already dressed. Hinata raised an eyebrow at her.
"Magic, anyway lets get you into something nice" Ino pulled out a small bottle from the pouch at her side and dropped a little bit on Hinata. A puff of smoke appeared and Hinata was now dressed in a simple long lavender dress with short sleeves Hinata liked it but the neckline seemed to be a bit low showing off a bit more cleavage than she was used to.
"Lovely" Ino dropped another drop on her hand and another outfit with a towel appeared in her hands and she handed the outfit to Hinata and held onto the towel.
"what are these for"
"You will see now sit over here" Ino motioned towards a large boulder at the end of the beach. Once Hinata sat down on it Ino tossed a small rock into the ocean which was the signal for Naruto to come back ashore.
"Finally" Naruto said as he dragged himself out of the water and up on to the sand bank. Ino tossed a towel at him and Naruto started drying himself. "wheres Hinata?"
"shes over there once your dry you should go over there" Ino said yanking the towel away from him.
"ok?" Naruto said and suddenly he found himself with his legs again. Also he found himself with out any clothes on. "Ehhhh!"
Ino started laughing loudly and Hinata stayed on the stone confused as to why Naruto was so worried about being shirtless.
"INO!" Naruto yelled as he held his hands in front of his crotch and sat down awkwardly.
"To think I almost missed this when you wanted to go get the stones", Ino laughed again unable to keep her balance and fell.
"Naruto I have some clothes over here" Hinata yelled and Naruto suddenly realized Ino's main plan he had to walk across the beach towards Hinata naked to get his clothes. But he refused to go through with it.
"Hinata can you bring them over" Naruto asked still sitting.
"Ok" Hinata said as she prepared to jump off. Suddenly a cat appeared from the side of the stone she sat on. She made eye contact with it and saw the hunger in its eyes. "KYAA!" Hinata pulled herself up on the rock squeezing the clothes in her hands and stared at the cat as it slowly started making its way towards her.
"ohh what a lucky turn of events" Ino said as she herself started stepping back afraid of the cat too.
"Hinata!" Naruto had no choice and jumped to his feet and ran towards Hinata. He made it to the stone and reached up to Hinata. "hey its ok its just a cat" Hinata looked at Naruto with teary eyes.
"But it wants to eat me"
"its ok just give me your hand and slowly get down" Hinata gave Naruto her hand then turned to face the cat again and it suddenly pounced near her and she screamed jumping onto Naruto dropping his clothes in the sand.
Hinata now found herself sitting on Naruto. His back to the ground while her hips straddled his. She turned around to see if the cat was still there and saw it staring down at her. She bent down and wrapped her arms around Naruto's neck. "G-get it to go away" Hinata cried into his neck. Naruto blushed heavily as Hinata laid on his naked body but he still managed to somewhat think straight and grabbed a rock tossing it near the cat. It hissed then ran off.
"Its ok hes gone now"
"Are you sure", Hinata asked refusing to open her eyes. She pulled herself closer to him and he gulped loudly as he both saw and felt her chest pressed up against him. "I can feel your heart beating quickly is it really gone".
"I'm sure and its beating for another reason." Naruto said as he turned his head to the side. Hinata sat up placing her hands on his chest. She looked around scanning the area making sure it was safe.
"Naruto whats wrong" Hinata shifted on top of him and their hips slid against each other. Naruto took a deep breath and could feel that he had sweating.
"uhh Hinata"
"Yes" Hinata shifted again and Naruto balled up his fist grabbing a pile of sand squeezing it as hard as he could. This was the ultimate test of self control.
"You remember that thing I did with our tails"
Hinata blushed "yes"
"well...your kinda doing the human version of that to me now"
"oh...OHH" Hinata quickly jumped off him then handed him the clothes that had fallen near them. She looked around to find Ino sitting down writing something in a small notebook.
"ahhh this is pour gold"
"Ino please stop" Hinata said blushing heavily.
Naruto then walked up behind her dressed in and oversized white shirt with orange trim and black pants. Hinata turned to face him and bowed her head. "I'm sorry for what I did Naruto. I promise that wont happen again"
"Its alright Hinata this just makes us even ok." Naruto said making Hinata straighten up he then turned around facing the ocean. "Besides it would be a bad thing if we never did that again"
"what"
"what"
"I heard that" Ino yelled as she wrote something down again then closed her book. "Ok well I'll be going now thanks for the fun story I'll be around again so I can continue watching it grow", Ino then ran into the water and swam away but not before waving good bye to Naruto and Hinata.
"Soooo I guess your moving in?" Naruto asked.
"I guess I am" Hinata said grabbing onto his arm a big smile on her face.
they leaned against each other as they slowly made their way up to the castle.
3 weeks later
"I'm telling you there is something wrong in our relationship"Naruto said sighing heavily.
"You're just seeing things" Sasuke answered.
"No you don't get it. She has been sneaking out of the castle and when she sees me she quickly turns the other direction. She avoiding me I know it", Naruto leaned over the railing letting his arms droop over the edge. "what if she wants to break up with me"
"Your an idiot why would she do that after all the trouble she went through to be with you in the first place", Sasuke pinched the bridge of his nose he was getting tired of hearing him complain.
"that's just it what if she no longer likes me what if she already bored of me"
Sasuke took a deep breath. "it's been 3 weeks since she moved in"
"and that's how long it took her to get bored with me!" Naruto started furiously rubbing his hair.
"Will you shut up. You are such a pain look do you see her sneaking out a side door with a bag over her shoulders headed towards the sea" Sasuke pointed down over the balcony.
Naruto looked down and saw the path that lead to the secret beach Hinata would head to every few days. "Yeah your right" Naruto straightened up running his hand through his hair and stepped away from the railing. "I'm probably just imagining things Hinata would never-", just then the door below them creaked open and Naruto ran to the railing looking down gripping the rail so hard his knuckles were turning white. Sasuke just turned his head slightly to look down.
From the door Hinata walked out and look both ways to make sure she was alone then she went back inside for a moment. "What is she up to" Naruto said as he leaned down the railing as far as he could. She then came out again with a large bag over her shoulders. She closed the door silently behind her and speeds off into the forest following the path to the beach.
"I TOLD YOU!", Naruto pushed himself away from the rail and ran towards the door heading down stairs.
"Tch" Sasuke quickly followed behind.
"What did I do wrong Hinata" Naruto pushed the door Hinata had come out of and speed down the path. "Don't leave!"
"Quit yelling dumbass" Sasuke yelled behind Naruto.
Once on the beach Naruto looked down the cove and spotted Hinata sitting against a large rock with her face down in her hands. "Is she crying" Naruto ran down the beach kicking sand on to Sasuke's face.
"Hey!" Sasuke brushed his face and followed behind only he was walking towards Hinata.
"Hinata!"
Hinata looked up to see Naruto running at full speed towards her. He reached her and got down on his knees so he would be level with her face.
"Naruto?" Hinata epped when Naruto suddenly grabbed her hands
"Hinata please don't leave. If I hurt you or if you're not happy with me please tell me. what is that is bothering you. I'll change it, just promise not to leave me. I don't think I could stand to be apart from you."
Hinata stared at Naruto for a while,"uhh Naruto"
"Yes" Naruto moved closer to Hinata causing her to blush.
"What are you talking about?"
"Hey Hinata how do you put this on" Kiba emerged from the side of the stone Hinata was leaning on. Dressed only in an over-sized shirt. Neji and Shino also appeared poking there head out by the side of the stone.
"What is going on here" Naruto yelled
One explanation later
"what do you mean your also moving in" Naruto whined after pushing everyone but Hinata behind the boulder and started helping them get dressed.
"What you seriously thought we would let Hinata go into a new world alone." Kiba said tying the string around his pants.
"Don't you trust me"
"Its not that" Neji said looking at the socks in his hands questionably. "...we mostly trust you its just we want to protect Hinata and are used to being near her, and as much as I would like to deny it i am curious of the human world", Neji slipped the socks over his hands and then looked at the boots before him.
"I guess..." Naruto walked over and pulled the socks off of Neji's hands and pointed at his feet and Neji switched the socks to his feet then put on the boots.
"Why do you humans have such complicated clothing" Kiba looked over and Shino who was already dressed in a large coat that resembled the one he usually wore. "How the hell did you get dressed so fast", Shino did not answer and started looking down at some ants.
"Well at least your here to help us figure this clothes thing out did you also help Hinata when she came ashore"
"No I was not the one who found her" Naruto said as they walked around the stone over to Hinata and Sasuke who had caught up and was casually talking to Hinata .
"So who found her"
"Sa...suke...did..." it suddenly click in Naruto's head. "Gaaahhhh!" he yelled
"what are you yelling about" Sasuke said and Naruto ran up to Sasuke grabbing him by the scruff of his tunic.
"You saw her naked didn't you" Naruto said glaring at Sasuke. Sasuke did not say anything and looked away a small blush on his cheeks.
"I have no idea what your talking about"
"Bullshit you saw her" Naruto started shaking Sasuke back and forth, "I have not seen anything and you already saw her. Its not right", its not that Naruto was mad at Sasuke it was more that he was jealous that he had seen something he hadn't yet.
"Let go of me you idiot" Sasuke was now struggling to get Naruto to let go of him. But Naruto was not thinking straight and held on.
"Come on Hinata lets go", Kiba said grabbing her hand before she got the chance to brake them up. "So where is the cas..." Kiba stopped in his tracks looking up at the end sand bank. "What is that", Kiba pointed as a large white dog walked down the beach. Naruto looked up from his skirmish to see what he was pointing at.
"oh that's just a dog"
"get off me" Sasuke pushed Naruto's face and they went back to their childish fight of push and pull.
"its... its magnificent to think such a glorious beast existed" Kiba said as his eyes started to water, "I must have it" the dog looked down the beach and spotted the shining dark haired boy staring at him and turned around running in the opposite direction. "Hey don't go", Kiba ran after it dragging Hinata behind him.
"And his gone. How childish" Neji said pinching the bridge of his nose.
Seeing his chance to escape Sasuke he pushed Naruto back,"Hey your girlfriend just ran off with another guy".
"Huh?", Naruto looked over to see Kiba and Hinata running off. Naruto dropped Sasuke on the sand and ran after them,"wait Hinata where are you going".
"Uhh dumbass", Sasuke said getting up patting the sand off him and started walking towards the castle.
Neji and Shino watched as Naruto caught up to Kiba and Hinata who had caught up to the dog and were currently petting it. Naruto grabbed Hinata possessively and held her close to his chest. He seemed to be yelling at Kiba about something probably about dragging his girlfriend away.
"The surface is a lot louder than the sea and Naruto seems to be the one causing most of the noise and trouble." Neji said.
"Yes but Hinata seems to be enjoying herself" Shino said and they both watched as Kiba and Naruto yelled back and forth at each other while Hinata smiled in Naruto's arms.
"Your right"

Hey so I said I had something planned for the 2nd book well I plan on making it mostly short stories about Hinata, Nej, Shino and Kiba getting used to things up on the surface you know learning new things like new foods, social manners, don't touch hot things and when your supposed to wear pants. So if you got an idea for something interesting send it in, it may become a chapter. Please try to limit it to characters already introduced I have plans for the others to show up later on in book 2 and 3 but still message me if its a character I was not planing on using then hey they have a short story. Sorry updates take awhile I am pretty picky about my punctuation and capitalization and spelling and stuff since its my 1st fanfic. If anyone is interested in being a beta for me give a heads up.
