Kaname had looked up all of Zero's phone contents.

"Nature lover, listens to rock music, loves to cook, no girlfriends, seems to be gay, reads detective stories, etc etc. How boring.", he mumbled.

"What are you talking about Kaname?". Kaname looked up to see Takuma staring at him in amazement. He hadn't even noticed Takuma's presence in the room."And you got a new phone?"

"Uh...no. I mean yes. I got a new one. The old one...uh...fell into the toilet.",Kaname said. Takuma gave out a little laugh.

"Sleep well Kaname",he said and went away smiling to himself. Kaname wasn't sleepy so he ddecided to go out to get some fresh air. He was just out when he saw Zero runnung like crazy.

"What's wrong Zero?", he asked amazed. "I think he really is out of his mind.", Kaname thought.

"Oh everything is wrong. I lost my phone. Yuuki thinks I like her and I'm running away from her."

"Why isn't Yuuki pertty?"

"No, that's not the problem"

Then what is?"

"I am not interested in girls."

"Then what are you interested in, monkeys?",Kaname said mockingly.

"I mean I'm gay! But you wouldn't understand would you huh? You have all you want. You are rich,good looking and could get any girl you want. Your life is perfect."

Kaname could see tears rolling down his cheeks. He didn't think it wouled hurt him so didn't know why but he didn't like to see Zero crying at all. Not even a bit.

"Zero, I'm sorry. I didn't intend to hurt you."

"But you did so fuck off! I don't need people like you to mess up my already messed up life. Go away!"

"I'm gay too if that makes you feel better."

"Huh?"

"What's wrong with being gay. I mean there are more hot boys than girls in school and you get to play videogames with your partner."

"If it was only like that. When you tell people you are gay they walk away from you like you didn't ever exist."

"Nobody does that. Somebody did that to you."

"Yes. He was my best friend and I liked him but when I told him about it he walked away.",with that said zero started to cry inconsolably. Kaname hugged him.

"Warm. He feels warm.", Kaname thought. "Why didn't I meet him before?" Kaname wiped the tears off Zero's face. Zero was now looking at him in the eye. There was nobody around. It was only him and Zero staring at each other's faces. Kaname didn't think twice before leaning and kissing Zero on his lips.

"Very soft.",Kaname thought but a voice broke into his thoughts. It belonged to Takuma."What? Takuma? Hope he didn't see any of this.",Kaname thought. He turned around to confront Takuma. Takuma was all in tears.

"I thought you...liked me",he said and ran away. Zero tugged Kaname's shirt sleeve wanting him to stay but Kaname yanked Zero's hand off.

"This is all your fault.",he said furiously to Zero and walked away. Zero was hurt. He shouldn't have been as Kaname was no more than a stranger to him but he was hurt. He liked the way Kaname hugged him. It' felt warm. He didn't know why he liked the way Kaname's lips felt and it hurt him to know he was never going to feel it again.

"I am so stupid. I should have never told him in the first place and all this would have never happened. I am left alone again. Everybody walks away.", Zero thought bitterly.

"Takuma, I'm sorry. It's not what you think.", Kaname pleaded.

"Oh yeah, then how do you put it.", Takuma replied.

"He was crying and I hugged him and it all happened. Trust me he means nothing to me"

"Maybe that is why you hugged him when you saw him crying" Kaname was silent. He had nothing to say. Takuma was right. Zero did mean something to him. He felt happy when he had seen Zero for the first time. His happy had struck him. He thought of Zero's happy face.

"Happy face….wait…Zero was crying. How could I have left him like that.", Kaname thought. He rushed towards the door. "I'll be back", he said to Takuma. Takuma knew where he was going but didn't stop him.

"Good luck Kaname"

"Thank you",Kaname said gratefully. He was thankful that Takuma understood him perfectly well. He smiled at the blond in appreciation.

Kaname rushed out to the garden where he and Zero had been earlier. Zero was there sitting on a bench with his face covered in his hands.

"Zero I'm sorry"

"Go away! I don't care anymore. Go, walk away! It doesn't matter to me. You don't matter to me. Who do you think you are? I only met you three months ago and you think you matter to me?"

"I never said I mattered to you but you matter to me."

"Maybe that's why you left me all alone"

"I wasn't thinking well. I was unclear of what I felt about you or what I felt about Takuma", Kaname said sincerely.

"Like you're all clear now."

"I am. Takuma has been my friend as long as I remember and I just couldn't see him hurt. I only like Takuma but I love you.", Kaname couldn't believe he uttered those words. He had denied to accept that he loved Zero even to himself and now there he was speaking of his love to Zero. He saw Zero's shocked expression and realized that he had made a big mistake. "I'm sorry. I know you need time to think and we've only met but you've been in my head ever since I saw you that day. I like your smile. I want to know things about you."

"I…love you too", Zero was hazy and had no control over his speech." Kaname it felt warm when you hugged me and everything was cold when you left. I want to be with you…always."
