Hey people I'm sorry that I'm incredibly lazy actually I'm not really...anyways I've been a bit confused about Nobume's name is Nobume her first name or Imai it would be great if someone could tell me thanks!
It was hot, really hot, too hot. Kagura liked summer;there was no school and they could go to the beach or to the zoo but she hated the heat.
"Gin-Chan, Gin-Chan! I'm hot! Why Don't we have an AC moron, you're a stupid idiot!" She said wreathing on the floor.
"Don't call me that you're the stupid one, brat." Ginpachi told her stoically picking his nose and reading Jump.
"Shut up!"
"If you stop moving around so much I'm sure you'd feel a lot cooler, Kagura-Chan." Shinpachi explained from the bathroom he was cleaning. "This is really disgusting." He added in an almost whisper.
With a loud sound she jumped up from the floor and stood up."Come on, Sadaharu, we're going for a walk." She announced. Her abnormally large dog trotted alongside her and out the door.
The silver haired teacher took his pinky out of his nose and flicked off whatever was on it. "That girl is getting more and more rebellious. You think she's PMSing?"
"That's sexual harassment Gin-San." Shinpachi rebuked him.
Due to the heat the red-headed girl walked by her pet's side instead of riding on his back. It was even hotter outside; she was really feeling miserable. One of her best friends is no longer her friend, she is having mixed feelings about her rival and she was melting from the summer heat. What was a girl supposed to do with so many 'third-world problems'(really only first-world)? They are hardly a big deal but Kagura has an inevitable feeling that her world is ending.
Kagura is not the only one in torture, Soyo also was in a sort of a pickle. She cares an awful lot for her two friends; she knew her blue-haired friend assumed that she picked favorites but that was not the case at all. The little 'princess' had no idea of what to do and thought it best to stay away until they fixed things themselves. She was nothing like Takasugi; there was no way for her to intervene and make things better, rather she was sure to make things worse and in any other case she would love that.
Friendship problems had to wait for, now she had a more pressing matter like the family dining room walls needing to be repainted. Soyo had no idea who painted it but the colour was attrocious. Magenta pink did not belong in home decor especially along side cherry brown cabinets. She picked a colour card that seemed friendly enough called almond. It was a light pretty shade of brown.
Behind her were cases and walls filled with knives and guns so she was not too excited to meet the scene again but she was going to have to. It was extremely unwelcoming to have that sort of stuff next to the paint. When she finally did force herself to turn she was met with a familiar back looking at the locked up machetes.
"Takasugi?" She called out to the boy.
Shinsuke turned around with a "hmm." When he realized who had called him he smiled that usual unpleasant smile that was actually calming to Soyo who was distracted from the weaponry behind him.
"What's the princess doing shopping for herself?" He questioned simply curious. Rudely he grabbed the card from the girl's hand and examined it, she took it back a little irritated.
"Someone messed up and painted the walls in a room a nauseating colour." She smiled. "I don't want to risk it happening again."
"What colour?"
"Magenta pink."
"I thought girls like that kind of shit."
She stared at him for a bit contemplating whether or not he was really gay or just said he was for fun. There was a few minutes of silence and disgusted smiles from both of them before she replied to him. "You have absolutely no sense of taste, Takasugi." She giggled but she was no doubt frustrated.
First her friends were acting like babies, then in the morning she ate surrounded by obnoxious walls, and now she had to deal with an annoying guy. There were no breaks in her life.
He laughed and Soyo wondered if it would be okay to break his nose. She was a bit queasy when it came to blood but it would be completely worth it.
"I'm getting hungry." He told her once he finished laughing. "Want to get something to eat. Women always try to flirt me up when I eat alone, it's bother some."
She stopped herself from snorting; snorting was ugly. "Would you rather it be men?"
That made him smile, few people actually knew his attraction to the same sex because it was practically impossible to guess with him being so...him. It's not that he hides it, he does not care and he even let it out to his friends before they were his friends. Being that Kagura is Kamui's sister the girls soon found out as well. It was amusing when they insultingly commented or made stupid jokes about it.
"That's annoying too." He admitted.
"Well I guess it's okay, I'm getting little hungry myself."
Before leaving with Shinsuke, Soyo ordered twelve gallons of the paint to be sent to her mansion. The worker she was talking to stared at her strangely but he typed down the order anyways. It was not uncommon for people to be surprised when she ordered objects of any kind. He asked her if her guardians were alright with her purchase while she slid her card for payment. She told him that she could buy whatever she wanted and that her parents never cared. Undoubtedly he misunderstood it as her parents not caring about her and sending her off with money to try to please her and get her out of their hair; that was what she was going for. The expression people made when they were feeling pity was amusing. Shinsuke appeared to think the same way.
Kagura was happy. A cool wind had picked up along her walk and she was able to comfortably ride Sadaharu again. Her stomach growled telling her that she needed to eat. It was quite easy to scare the restaurant workers into giving her a few free meals with her huge dog and since she had no money that was what she was going to have to do.
The closest restaurant seemed small on the outside so she had a look through a window to see if there was room. She did not want to have to wait for a seat. Her stomach turned at the sight before her and somehow she was not that hungry anymore. There was a pinching pain in her nose and she was sure she was going to cry. Soyo and her brother's dark haired friend were eating together; they were having fun and enjoying each other's company. An inevitable surge of feeling betrayed wound up in her.
Sure she had watched a movie with the sadist alone but they had talked often. Soyo and Shinsuke hardly made conversation and now they were suddenly comfortably eating lunch together? Kagura was unsure if it was a simply coincidence that they were hanging out after the three girls' friendship started to be disrupted.
Was she leaving them for Takasugi? She could not help but to allow negative emotions to take surface in her head. She was now feeling depressed and the heat that was gone came back.
A brother was supposed to be there for their sister during times when she felt down but ever since her twin Kamui left her in China a couple of years back their relationship has not been the same. When they were younger she used to go to him for even the smallest of things and he would give her immediate comfort. They acted like they were both alright but the truth was most of the time being with each other felt awkward, like being with a friend you barely knew. Of course it has gotten better when they first met up again it was only awkward eye contact and small talk. It was so bad one of their conversations was about the chalk board. They still are not at the stage of confronting each other with their problems; she talked with her pet as they walked home.
Someone mentioned that a relationship between Soyo and Shinsuke would be nice and I thought yeah that would be nice! I had actually been thinking about it before as well but I wasn't really sure if I should but here it is a developing friendship.
