Percy, Annabeth and Thalia-
"I do not get why we had to stop, Percy! We were going fine!" Thalia yelled at him, as Percy walked to a restaurant. "Thalia, he stopped for a reason. Don't yell." Annabeth said in a calm yet freaked out tone.
"Don't yell. Course, I won't yell." Thalia stomped to Percy and caught hold of his hand and swung him around. "Tell me why we have halted or else I swear-"
"Or else your swear what, Thalia?" Percy's green eyes looked straight into those electric blue eyes of Thalia. He sighed and started speaking in a much lower and compressed tone. "You're gonna go on this quest all alone? You're gonna overlook the main points? You're gonna walk into this unknown danger all by yourself?"
"If it means to avenge my father as soon as I can, then yes. I will go on this quest alone. I will overlook all the main points. I will walk into this unknown danger all by myself. I don't care what it takes, but I will do it. We can not stop just so soon. We started yesterday only and now you wanna take a halt at a restaurant? What for? Want to get cuddly with your girlfriend? Listen up if both of you have come on this quest with me so that you can have time together then please leave me. I'm better off alone than being with a couple."
Percy looked at Thalia, bit back a nasty remark and for a few minutes stayed silent. Then he said something they didn't think he would. But Percy was Percy. "Fine. Go. Leave. If you think all this stuff, then you can carry on all alone without any stopping from our side."
"Percy!" Annabeth exclaimed. She was shocked. Well, that's obvious.
Thalia looked at Percy in disbelief. She had realized she had said that in a impulsive way, but she didn't mean it. She knew she couldn't work without Percy, no matter how pain in the arse he was, Thalia enjoyed his company. Andddd... she could do nothing without the brain. Annabeth had always kept a check on her actions. What would she do without them? She wanted to apologize but she didn't want to. She looked at them, took a sharp intake of breath and turned around to leave.
"Percy, stop her!" Thalia heard Annabeth yell. "Let her be Annabeth, she'll be alright." Percy replied.
Percy took Annabeth inside the restaurant.
"Listen, she'll be alright, okay? She would come back, I know. She has to."
"If she doesn't? What are you gonna do then?"
Percy saw the fear and anger and sadness all at the same time in Annabeth's grey eyes. He held her by her shoulders and whispered,"She'll be alright. I assure you."
Winchesters-
Dean was still stuck on nada about Cass till his attention shifted to what the girl at the bar had told him. The Huntress. The companions. Disharmony to their abode. What was she talking about? Who was she referring to as these "The Huntress and her companions." ? He had already asked Sam, what would have been the consequence of them, or Artemis, killing Zeus. But still there was something missing. This piece of the puzzle that just wouldn't fit in.
His chain of thoughts broke the moment he heard footsteps and saw Sam's worried face making way down to the place he was sitting.
"What happened, Sammy boy?" Dean questioned smirking. Sam kept Dean's food on the table and hurriedly started speaking. "You told me about this chic coming up to you at the bar and talking about this ridiculous stuff? So, a girl came up to me too."
"Somebody has an admirer." Dean joked. Sam gave him that nerd face and continued telling him about what the lady said.
Dean was shocked for a few minutes. "Do you mean to say that we are being warned about something related to... Greek gods?"
"If that's how you put it, then yes."
"But it was Artemis who killed -"
"We provoked her. So."
"Indirectly us" the boys said in unison.
"Who do you think they are referring to as our predators?"
"I would get onto that. This Huntress thing can be related to Artemis in a way. She is the goddess of the hunt."
"So her own daughter is going to come to kill us?"
"Can be."
"But.. why would Artemis's daughter come to kill us? Shouldn't it be Zeus' daughter?"
"I don't know, Dean. I'll go get my own facts clear and then I'll answer you."
Dean nodded. But somehow, he was sad. He thought probably in something he could get some straight answers. Sam stood up to go and do some research. Then turned and said,"Dean I think, this time we have caused some serious trouble again."
Percy, Annabeth and Thalia-
Thalia walked the lane, going past the mortals to make way to her Pegasus. She was sulky. Very sulky. How could Percy even say all that? How could he be so rude. Well she was talking as though she hadn't said anything. She kicked a stone and watched it fumble. Thalia suddenly heard a high pitched cry and the shrieking of the mortals. She looked up to see a flock of monstrous pigeon like birds making way towards her. The people ran past her telling her to run too. These were the Stymphalian birds. Thalia gained confidence as she let her shield expand from her bracelet and took out her spear. Come on babies, Thalia said to herself. She shielded herself when one of them shot an arrow down at her. She stood in a stance and slashed at one of the birds. It fell down in pain and disintegrated. One down. many to go.
She heard a shrieking from behind her, she turned, before she could react, the bird lacerated at her with its teeth.
Their teeth made of celestial bronze.
She let out a cry and sank to her knees. It was her arm that was bleeding. No, I can't give up. Get up, Thalia, you are the lieutenant of Artemis. You cannot let her down. Get up, Thalia, get back up to your feet and fight out like a warrior. Your father. For him.
One of the birds shot an arrow at her. It grazed her shoulder. She bit her inner cheek. The birds were now flying around above her in a circle. She stood up and held her spear tightly. Patiently, she put it back. She grabbed her bow and her arrow. In a swift manner, the arrows flew at the birds. Some dodged it and reacted back with the help of their own arrows. Others would just get hit and fall down. They were never ending. It was yellow dust all around, yet there were many. Thalia's wound kept on burning. The pain was now weakening her. The bow felt heavier than before. She lowered her bow and started to pant. She may be immortal, but her body was weak now. Very weak. Neither Percy nor Annabeth were around. Her eyes stung with tears. But she blinked them back.
Thalia heard one of the birds shriek. She gasped. She had no idea what happened. All she felt was the arrow penetrate into her back. All she heard was Percy yelling her name. All she knew was Annabeth and Percy had come to her rescue. But she had fallen down.
Hunters lose their immortality only if they if the fall down in a battle, choose to leave or fall in love.
Thalia had fallen down. The last thing she saw was Percy's green eyes, last thing she heard was him saying "It'll be alright."
A/N- hehe..! Yeah left it here :P! I love doing this! Anyhow! Views! Thank you :*
