When I returned to the house, I discovered that no one slept. Kevin said it was because they wanted to make sure I would return, but I knew better. They wanted to make sure I wasn't dead.
I wasted no time in unrolling the map across the black wooden table. Sure enough, it was a detailed map of the city and the surrounding forest and mountian range. Three red dots were located in three specific places: the power plant within the city, the compass stone in the forest, and the caves in the Mountians. Ji knew that those places we're key points that connected the Nighlok world to ours, and his assumption was clear. "Crysus seems to want to open the portals and use the Netherworld to over flood the earth," he said with a sigh. He then pointed to the Compas Stone in the forest. "it looks like this is his first target". I breathed in deeply as the others were in conversation. Studying the map more and zoning out, my nightmares replayed in my head. But I had to thank Deker. Without him, we wouldn't have this information. But something did not seem right. Even though Crysus and Deker hate each other, why would Deker betray his own kind? How would Deker know just when and were Crysus would strike? For a deadly sibiling hatred, they sure kept in touched.
After assessing that the Compass Stone attack was in four weeks, I went to my room. Cobra zord slithered out of his bamboo box and beeped, happy to see me. I rubbed his metal head and sighed. "How did we get here buddy?" As I pet him, I saw a familiar shadow walk down the hall. It was Antonio. Oh, how I longed to feel human flesh against mine, and flesh that didn't have a scales undercoat. It was time for our daily practice, so I put on my uniform and grabbed my sword; rushing down the halls and into the courtyard. But things were not so cheerful with antonio as I hoped they would be.
While the others swung away, I joined him in hitting a practice dummy. "Feels good to be kicking ass again," I joked. But Antonio acted like I wasn't there. After two minutes of silence, I blurted out, "Are you going to be a dick all day?" that caused everyone to stop and stare. Antonio grumbled,"you had another dick in you all night, so we are even." I was taken back by his words. "That's what this is about?" I asked. He groaned. "You couldn't have had another theory on how to get that map?!" He threw his sword directly into the straw head of the dummy. I had never seen him so mad. "I didn't have a choice!" was the only retort I could think of. But he lifted his hands and walked back inside. I stood there, shocked. What in the world was going on here?
