As the twilight portal opened up, Saix turned his attention back to Roxas and Xion, giving them a serious look that was making them feel a bit nervous. More than that, they could feel some odd energy coming from the portal; seeping through from the world on the other side.

"Remember, you two. Stay on your guard while in this world. Not only is it an unknown to us, but we're getting odd readings coming from it as well. Something we can't currently identify" warned Saix.

"Isn't this normally something another member would be checking out then?" asked Roxas. "I recall Axel telling me that I wouldn't be sent to worlds with issues like this one is indicating as a safety precaution. Xion, I assume, is in the same boat as me."

"And he's right. Normally, we wouldn't be sending either of you two till after one of us checked it out. But the thing of it is...we can't go there, or at least us Nobodies" says Saix.

"What do you mean?" asked Xion.

"We already tried sending Luxord there the day before. He only found himself being returned here instead of arriving in the world. Several more tries were made with other members and with the same results in the end. After doing a scan, we discovered that there was something about this world that refused access to anyone who lacks a heart. Meaning of course, us Nobodies of the Organization. You two, on the other hand, aren't restrained by that chain" explained Saix.

"So what are our orders then?" asked Roxas.

"Do your usual routines; look around for Heartless and see if you can locate the Keyhole of this world. Also..." says Saix before pulling a weird looking disc shaped device out of his pocket and hands it to Roxas. "Turn this on once you arrive. It will do scans of the world and will hopefully offer us Intel we wouldn't be able to get otherwise. Maybe even explain why Nobodies can't enter this one."

Roxas takes the device and places it in his pocket, then nods. "We'll be back soon." He and Xion then enter the portal.

As the portal closes, Saix says in a quiet tone "Be safe out there..."

Realm Hearts

chpt.15: Wreck It, Roxas

The short, momentary walk through the portal had been uneventful, like always. But the moment they had stepped through the other end of the gate, Roxas and Xion found their senses being bombarded by static and noise so intense, that it felt like they would lose their minds in just a matter of moments.

Then everything goes dark for them from their individual perspectives.

A hard yet cool feeling surface was the first sensation Roxas felt as he started to come around. Groaning from some discomfort and still feeling rather dizzy headed, he slowly picks himself up, needing but a moment to steady himself to keep from falling back down again.

"Ow...what the heck was that" he says weakly, a hand coming to rest against his face, covering his left eye. Things were still a little fuzzy to him, but that was quickly clearing up.

He looks around, seeing if he could get an idea about where he was. From his point of view, it was like he was in some sort of train or tram station as the layout was not all that unlike the station back in Twilight Town, just more brighter colors being used on the walls, floor, and ceiling.

Looking back, he sees what looked like a modified mine cart resting before a tunnel entrance with the words Legend of Feverhelm neatly placed above the arch. "I wonder what kind of world this...wait, Xion? Are you OK?" he asked, looking around after realizing he hadn't heard her speak up yet.

There was no sign of her, no matter where he looked.

With a panic beginning to rise up in him, he runs up to the tunnel and looks inside, seeing nothing but a never ending stretch of black along the path. Turning back, he runs to the other end of the room which had another arch way that opened up into a larger area from the looks of it.

Had she been sent back to Never Was? Was she here but just elsewhere, knocked away from him by some weird power this world had? He didn't know but he needed to find her. But as he reaches some steps leading down to the second arch, he comes to a stop as he realizes his feet were making clanking sounds against the ground as he ran.

Looking down, Roxas sees that instead of the garment he had been wearing before; the clothing of the Organization, he was now dressed in armor that shined with a green hue and pale blue colors. On his left shoulder was a metal guard.

"What the...?" he says, looking around and seeing a mirror like object next to the arch.

Standing before it, he sees his whole body save for his head was adorned with this armor. More so, he appeared to have an actual sword attached to his back, reachable from behind his right shoulder. And he also had an ornate purple colored scarf hanging from the shoulder guard.

And he found he looked different too; like he was looking at a video game version of himself.

"What is...?"

"Attention attention" comes a female voice from an intercom system, booming out from both this small room and the larger one beyond the arch. "The arcade has now closed for the night so sit back, relax, and have fun for tomorrow will be another busy day of entertaining gamers for us. Party!"

Roxas, still confused, walks out past the arch and within moments, sees dozens upon dozens of characters pouring out of other arch's cut into the large room, reach having their own individual names attached above the arch.

"Am I...in a video game?" asked Roxas to no one, unable to stop staring blankly at all the beings he was seeing appear. And what of Xion?

(with Xion)

Xion came back to consciousness, noticing immediately that she was laying on something that felt both soft and...tasty...wait, what? Her eyes open and she sits up, looks around and sees nothing but giant lollipops and candy canes sticking out of the ground. Recalling what she had felt when waking, she moves off the object, then turns back to look at it.

It was a giant Twinkie that seemed to be acting as a rock. She looks around, seeing even more odd things that had a food theme to them as well, but no sign of Roxas.

"Roxas? ROXAS?" she yells out, getting no reply in return. Feeling a little nervous, she debates if she should just stay put or go look for him. She decides to pull out her com-device and contact him. Only one problem though. It was missing. In fact, her clothes had undergone some sort of odd change.

Before, she had been dressed in a black tank top with string thing shoulder straps, black skin tight pants, black shoes, and the black coat. Now, she was wearing a purple colored knee length dress that appeared to be covered with chocolate colored spots that resembled the chocolate on chocolate chip cookies. Touching one, she realizes that they were actual chocolate too. And then she realizes something else. She was shorter than before.

Noticing a lake close by, she runs over to it to see her reflection, though it wasn't all that clear as this lake was filled with chocolate instead of water. But despite this, she could still see herself and what she saw was that she wasn't just smaller.

She had been turned into a chibified version of herself.

Xion kneels down, a finger lightly touching the surface of the chocolate lake to create a ripple. "What's happened to me?" she wondered.

A sudden noise is heard; a rustling from within the liquorish like grass; making her jump back to her feet and back away from the direction of the noise which was fast approaching. Whatever it was, it was getting closer and closer.

"Roxas, where are you?" she wonders aloud, hoping that she would be able to fight this thing, whatever it was...

(Roxas)

What an odd assortment of individual beings was the thought running through Roxas mind as he made his way through the Game Central Station. People and animals and plenty of oddities, all walking and talking with each other. And the weirdest part for him was that he actually recognized several of them.

There were two muscular guys wearing white and red colored karate gi's throwing punches at one another, but not connecting as they were just having fun. He saw a blue blur speeding around a man with an egg shaped body and super large orange colored mustache enough to make the egg man dizzy and fall over. The blur stops, revealing himself to be a blue Hedgehog who then laughs at seeing the egg man trying in vain to get up. And he sees a small mustached man wearing blue overalls and a red shirt and cap with an "M" logo on it talking with a creature Roxas recognized as Pac Man from the arcade back in Twilight Town. There were, of course, many many more besides them around this place.

As much as he wanted to go to them, interact with them, he knew that wasn't important right now. Finding Xion was. She had to be here somewhere; he was sure of that. But where to start looking for her? Sure, he could ask around and see if anyone had seen a girl matching her description, but what if this world had changed her clothing like it had his? What if it had done more than just that to her.

Roxas comes to a stop and sighs while slumping down. "I wonder how the others would deal with situations like this one?" he wondered aloud.

"Hey, check it out. A Feverhelm resident" comes a voice which draws Roxas from his depressed funk.

Looking to where the voice had come from, Roxas sees to figures approaching him. Once was rather on the short side, his height being around Roxas waist from the looks of it; dressed like a construction worker with a gold colored hammer hanging from his belt.

The other was a giant of a man with incredibly huge arms and hands and a big chin as well. Dressed wearing overalls with one strap hanging loose, they come to a stop once they had gotten to be a few steps away.

"Greetings friend, first time out of your game, huh?" asked the smaller figure.

"That's a dumb question, Felix. It's obvious that he is seeing the unsure look in his eyes. Besides, his game only just got plugged in the other day" says the bigger guy.

"Um...game? Sorry, but I don't..." says Roxas, not really sure how to respond.

"Boy, he must be out of the loop on things?" says the larger guy.

"Don't worry, friend. We'll explain everything to you" says the smaller guy. "First though, how about we all introduce ourselves. I'm Felix; Fix It Felix Jr. to be exact."

"And they call me Wreck It Ralph, though just Ralph is fine with me. We're both from the game Fix It Felix Junior" says the taller guy.

"Felix, Ralph. Got it memorized. I'm Roxas and I'm from...well, you already know that" says Roxas. "So, just where are we anyways?"

"This here is Game Central Station, friend. This is the junction point where all of us game characters here in the arcade come to hang out after hours. We can jump into another game and have some fun for a few hours like going to Tapper's for a drink if need be" explained Felix.

"So what about you, Roxas?" asked Ralph. "What brings you outside your game?"

"It is rather unexpected seeing a Feverhelm character come out on their own as ever since your game was brought in last week. We did ask your group if you wanted to come out and join us, but they said they were to busy with training after hours. So what made this day an exception for you?" wondered Felix.

"Well...I was curious about what existed outside our game" says Roxas, figuring the truth about him would be to hard to explain. "Also, one of our games...um, princess's has gone missing and I figured she may have come outside as she had expressed interest in coming outside before."

"Oh, that makes sense. Would you like us to help you look around?" asked Felix.

"That would be great" says Roxas.

"So, what does she look like anyways?" asked Ralph.

This question makes Roxas take pause as he didn't know what to say. But after a moment of quick thinking, he answers "She's around my height with black short cut hair. I would say what she would be wearing but she might be running around out her in desquise in case anyone came looking for her before she was ready to head back."

"OK, that doesn't really help a lot but its a start" says Ralph.

Felix gives an agreeing nod, then says "You two go ahead and start checking various games out. I'll wait here for a bit and see if I can see her walking around, then I'll join you..."

"You mean after the missus arrives don't you?" asked Ralph, giving Felix a playful nudge.

Felix cheeks become aglow with a honey color as he bashfully says "Well...yeah."

"No problem. Let's go Roxas" says Ralph, patting Roxas on his back and getting him to start walking.

"So, where should we look to first?" asked Roxas.

"I was thinking we'd go the game next to your own and look there. Besides, a lot of girls like going there to relax anyways" says Ralph, pointing towards his personal choice.

"Sugar Rush?" asked Roxas.

"Yeah, its a candy themed cart racing game and home to my friend, Vanellope Von Sweets. She the princess of the Sweeties that live there in Sugar Rush though she changed her title a while back to president as she felt it sounded more fitting for her personality" says Ralph.

Once they had entered the Sugar Rush station and reached the tram that would lead them into the game, Ralph stops Roxas and says "Be warned though. Sugar Rush is...well, let's just say its a little different than most games."

"What do you mean?" asked Roxas.

"You'll find out when you see it" says Ralph before getting on the tram. Once Roxas was on as well, it set off to deliver them to their destination.

After a few moments of high speed traveling, the tram comes to a stop and Ralph quickly hops off with Roxas a few steps behind him. From what Roxas could tell, they were inside what appeared to be a cave that had a rather nice aroma to it. Roxas takes a moment to try to figure where it was coming from, then decides to think about it later as he joins Ralph at the cave's mouth.

"Well, what do you think?" asked Ralph as Roxas finally exits the cave, now seeing all this world had.

Now Roxas knew where the smell within the cave was coming from. Out here in this massive land which was a dream come true to anyone who had a sweet tooth. The music that was filling the air was also quite catchy too.

"Man, this place reminds me of that board game, Candy Land" says Roxas, recalling how he and his Twilight Town friends spent one boring winter day.

"Never heard of it to be honest" says Ralph. "Anyways, we better get going. The Race Plaza is a bit of a walk from here."

They walk across the rainbow bridge that connected the tram cave to the candy land; Roxas eyes darting all over the place and marveling at all he could see. He couldn't help but wonder if everything here was edible? He also wondered he he should dare ask?

"So, what are you in your game exactly? The main character? A assist program? What?" asked Ralph.

Roxas hesitates, not sure what to say. "Well, I'm...one of several selectable characters in the game. You know, different skills and abilities to make things both easier and more challenging depending on the gamers experience. What about you, Ralph? What do you and Felix do in your game?"

"Well, Felix is the character controlled by the player who's job is to fix the damage done to the tower the Nicelander's live in while dodging falling debris. Success earns points and once enough have been gained, Felix can eat a pie that super charges him and allows him to fix the whole thing and clear the level, moving on to a greater challenge" explained for Ralph.

"As for me? I guess you can say I'm the opponent in the game. I stand atop the tower, wrecking it and throwing things down at Felix the player needs to make him dodge."

"Wait, you mean YOU'RE the bad guy?" asked Roxas.

"Well, yeah" says Ralph, rather sheepishly. "But just because I play the bad guy doesn't mean I am a bad guy. It's like the motto we video game villains take to heart say. I'm bad, that's good. I'm not good, that's not so bad." He stops and pulls a small candy heart from out of his clothes and holds it out before himself.

"There's no one I'd rather be than me" he says, his voice as warm as the smile on his face.

Roxas repeats the game villain motto to himself, then says "There's no one I'd rather be than me. Hm, I like that. It has a good feeling to it."

"I know, right" agreed Ralph. "Not to long ago, I found myself hating the whole villain thing. I had been doing it for thirty years and I was wanting to try something new for once. You know, be a hero and...well, I wanted to be liked. But after my experience her in Sugar Rush and meeting Vanellope, I came to realize that I liked being the bad guy. I was, for the first time in a long time, happy. I just hope this princess Xion of yours hasn't gone Turbo or anything on you and your game."

"Turbo?" asked Roxas.

"Huh? Oh, right. You Feverhelm guys probably haven't heard the tale yet. Well, you see, it all..." Ralph's explanation is cut off as they hear a rustling sound come from the bush's. On instinct, Roxas reach's back and grabs hold of his sword, reminding himself that he couldn't call his Keyblade for some reason while here.

"Say Ralph, does Sugar Rush have any monsters running around it?" asked Roxas.

"Oh, I'd say so" says Ralph, smiling a little.

Roxas looks around, wondering where the enemy would strike out from. He then feels warm breath hitting the back of his neck. "Boo" comes a voice, making him jump and spin around to see a girl with dark colored hair with little candy bits in it hanging from a candy cane stripped tree.

"Hello mister, you're new around here, huh?" asked the girl.

"Um..." says Roxas, not sure what to say to this chibi girl.

Ralph pats him on the shoulder and says "See, what did I tell you. Monsters..."

"Ralph, is that how you think of us? Is that how you think of ME?" asked the girl, faking a hurt look. "Fine then, see if I care..."

"Um...double stripes" says Ralph, making the girl look up just as the branch she was hanging from vanishes, though she quickly shifts her position to land on her feet.

"Good to see you remember, Ralph" says the girl, already forgetting the previous line from her giant friend. "So, who's the hero like guy?"

"This is Roxas from that new myth and legend game that got brought in a few days ago. Roxas, allow me to introduce you to Vanellope, princess...um, I mean president of Sugar Rush" says Ralph.

Vanellope steps forward and offers her hand which Roxas takes, surprised by the strength in her grip. "Nice to meet you, Roxy. So, what brings you here today or did Ralph drag you along?"

Roxas nods at her then says "Actually, we're looking for a friend of mine. Her name's Xion and she..."

"Oh, so that's where the new girl came from. And here we were thinking she may have been a glitch born from that power surge we had yesterday because of the storm" says Vanellope.

"So she's here then?" says Roxas, feeling relief wash over him.

"Yeah, she's with the others right now" says Vanellope before running off, stopping long enough to look back and add. "Come on, slowpokes. This way." She then continues running through the candy can forest.

"A little ball of energy, huh?" asked Ralph, getting a nod from Roxas. "Well, they're all like that here so you better get use to it. Welcome to Sugar Rush."

Roxas had felt the name was an interesting one for a racing game, even one with a candy theme to it. But now he had a good idea what the name really meant.

After a bit of walking and seeing more interesting sights, like Laughy Taffy Vines and Nestle Quicksand, they soon arrived at the race track. Roxas could see more chibi kids with various candy and sweets themes about them as well as actual bits of candy goodness walking around as well.

"Now where did she go?" wondered Vanellope, looking around. "I told the others to keep her here while we looked into her origins..."

"Roxas" cries a familiar voice, making said blond turn in the direction the voice had come from, only to find himself being tackled into hard and sent falling onto the ground. He groans for a second, then gets a chance to see who it was that had tackled him.

"Xion?" He couldn't believe it. She looked like the other chibi kids of this particular game.

Xion looks at him with watery eyes, saying "Roxas, I've been looking everywhere for you. I thought we had been sent to different worlds."

"Wait, you didn't say your princess was this small. You said she was the same height as you" notes Ralph, recalling what Roxas had said before.

"Yeah, I did...but..." Roxas wasn't sure what to say now apart from admitting the truth to their new friends.

"I wonder if she came into contact with something?" wonders Vanellope aloud. "You know, something that caused her to be reformatted into a Sweetie from what she had been before?"

"Is that even possible?" asked Ralph, looking down at her.

"Given what that guy Turbo did to Sugar Rush's code, who knows" offered up Caramel, the royal retainer of Sugar Rush as he comes walking up. "Even after Vanellope crossed the finish line and restored the game to normal, there could still be glitch's that could cause something like that to occur, like how Vanellope can still glitch herself all over the place."

"Yeah, I suppose that would make sense" thinks Vanellope, looking at him then back at Xion. "Do you recall anything happening to you after you came here?"

"Well..." says Xion, getting off Roxas so he could stand up again. She looks at him, wondering what she should say.

"Guys, there's something you should know about us" says Roxas, figuring there was no point in hiding it now. With their attentions all on him, Roxas says "You see, me and Xion..."

"MONSTER" cries out a voice, getting their attention. They turn to see a blond haired girl running up towards them. Once she had reached them, she takes a moment to catch her breath, then says "Vanellope, there's a weird monster trashing things down on the track..."

"What? A monster?" asked Vanellope.

"Another glitch from the power surge?" asked Ralph.

Roxas and Xion look at each other, nod, then break into a run in the direction the girl had come from. They hear the others call out to them, wanting to know where they were going, but they ignore the cries as this glitch monster was most likely a Heartless.

They just hoped they could deal with it, given their current states.

As they draw closer to the track, they see plenty of weird candy themed creatures running scared while seating stands shake and collapse. Amidst the chaos, they see a blue blur running around, striking out in every which direction. Was it a Soldier class Heartless?

Clearing the running candy people, they finally get a clearer look of the attacking glitch, but it wasn't a Soldier. In fact, they weren't even sure if it was a Heartless either. It was small in size like a Shadow, but colored a light and dark blue coloring across the its body; mostly light blue though. Its arms and legs ended in points with neither hands or toes to be seen. Its face was angular and triangle shaped with two pointed antenna sticking out at the end and small glowing red eyes with no sign of an iris or pupil.

"Roxas, what is that?" asked Xion.

Roxas sees the symbol imprinted in its chest and sees it was neither the Heartless symbol he had seen embedded on Soldier's nor did it match the symbol he had seen on that Dream Eater back in Kermit's world. It wasn't a Nobody symbol either so that could only mean...

"I don't know but it's causing trouble all the same here so we better take it out" says Roxas, pulling his sword free from his holster on his back. The moment the sword had been freed, it shifts its form, turning into his Keyblade. "Oh...there you are."

The others finally arrive, seeing the Keyblade in his hand. "Say warrior boy, that's a weird sword you got there" says Vanellope.

"Don't tell me you're planning on on fighting that...little guy with a giant key?" adds Ralph.

"It may look like a giant key..." says Roxas, a grin on his face as he charges forward. "But don't think that makes it any less powerful than a sword." He then swings the Kingdom Key at the blue creature, but the thing sees him coming and quickly sinks into the ground, becoming what appeared to be a puddle of water which then zips around the ground away before popping back at again.

"OK, that was different..." says Roxas. He had never seen an enemy turn into an element like this before. Shadows could become an actual shadow on the ground and Dusk would swim into the air and move around like a fish or a snake. But this thing...

"Here, let me try" says Ralph, pounding his huge fist together before running at the creature while yelling out a battle cry. He reaches it and sends his fist raining down in rapid motion, hammering the spot the creature was at. But it dodges the attack by simply going into its puddle form again and moving out of the way.

"Boy, that little guys pretty slick, huh?" notes Vanellope, looking at Xion.

As the creature reforms from its puddle state, Roxas was already on it with a powerful swing from his Keyblade. The creature ducks beneath the swing, then jumps up in a flip, kicking Roxas and sending him flipping backwards onto the ground. Ralph then comes running up, trying to smash it with his massive fist again, but the creature jumps onto his hand in mid swing then jumps again and crawls across his body till it came to a stop on its face.

"Why you little..." yells Ralph, sending his fist flying at the creature and realizing to late the error in this as the creature jumps clear just in time to leave Ralph to punch himself and send himself spinning around from the blow. "Anyone get the number of that blue guy?" he says sounding out of it.

"Don't worry guys, I'll get it" says Vanellope as she glitches herself on top of the creature, catching it by surprise as she pins it to the ground. "I got it. Now get your butts over here and..."

Her words stop dead as she hears a voice speaking within her mind, a voice that clearly wasn't her own. It distracts her, making her hold on the creature go limp which effects her attempt at weighing it down. This doesn't go unnoticed by the creature as it takes a chance to toss her off it and scurry away.

"Ow" cried Vanellope as she hits the ground. Ralph, having recovered from hitting himself, moves over to her as she picks herself up and ask, "You OK?"

"Yeah" she says before looking at the creature and adds "But that thing...I think it spoke to me through some sort of mental link."

"It did? What did it say?" asked Ralph.

"I am the Flood, born from the creators tears" said Vanellope.

"OK, what does that mean?" wondered Ralph as Roxas catches up with the creature and continues trying to strike it, but finding it moving and dodging his attempts with surprising ease.

While all of this has been going on, Xion just stood off to the side watching along with all the other Sweets. Well, not just watching as she had been attempting to summon her Keyblade forth as well. But, like Roxas, she couldn't seem to get it to appear like normal.

"Why can't I summon it?" she asked no one in frustration, getting an "summon what?" from one of the other Sweeties though she doesn't hear the question.

She then recalls Roxas had managed to call his out by pulling that sword clear from its sheath, making it turn into his Keyblade. Maybe she had something on her that could do the same thing? She then runs her hands all over her body, searching frantically but finds nothing useful save for the clothes she was wearing and the candy like accessories in her hair.

Looking back out at the fight, she sees Roxas, Ralph, and Vanellope all trying to defeat this creature and it still was giving them the run around. "I have to do something" she says, then recalls her trip to Agrabah and how she had managed to use some sort of fire like magic in the fight against the Antlion.

Holding her hand to her chest, she says a silent prayer then aims it at the creature as it was momentarily standing still while the others regrouped. "Dark Fire" she says and, to her surprise and relief, a ball of black and purple flames shoots from her hand and sails right at the creature, smacking it along the side but not appearing to do any damage. In fact, it had felt weaker to her when she gave it some thought.

"Maybe if I get closer" she thinks aloud, figuring her current physical state may be affecting her power, and runs at the creature, planning on attacking it with another Dark Fire at close range. But before she could reach it, her stubby legs trip over themselves and she ends up falling face first onto the ground.

Xion groans as she picks herself up, then stops as she finds the creature had moved to stand right before her. Her body freezes, thinking it was going to attack her and possibly end her life right then and there. But it didn't move to attack or anything. Instead, it just turns it head while looking at her in a quizzical way. Why wasn't it attacking her? And why was she having this feeling...

"Stay away from Xion" yells Roxas as he comes running up, swinging his Keyblade low and hard, finally managing to land a hit that sends the creature flying, smacking it into one of the candy cane trees. "Yeah, finally landed a hit" says Roxas, finally feeling good about the situation. He then leans down and helps Xion up. "You OK?"

Xion nods, saying "Yeah, but that thing..."

"Um guys, I think we just made it anger" says Vanellope as the creature gets back on its feet with its red eyes glowing. It then rears up as if to do something, but ti doesn't get the chance as a sudden blast of energy sudden shoots out from nowhere, hitting the creature and making it burst like a bubble of water all over the place. Looking back, they see standing a little higher up a woman wearing black body armor holding a big gun in her hands.

"Liquifed that little sucker" says Calhoun, a slight smirk present on her face as Felix appears next to her.

"Great shot, dynamite girl" he says before turning to Ralph and yelling out "Hey, yous guys OK down there?"

"Yeah, we're fine" says Ralph who then mumbles "Embarrassed but fine."

"Roxas, who are they?" asked Xion.

"The short guy dressed like a repair man is Felix. He's a friend of Ralph's. Don't know about the woman though."

As Felix and Calhoun hop down to join them, Calhoun ask "So, any of you mind telling me what was going on here is candy land?"

After several minutes worth of explanations, Calhoun nods and says "So that thing was some sort of glitch monster or something, right?"

"That's the only explanation I can't think of" admits Ralph who then looks at Xion and adds "I mean, if it can turn a princess from another game into a Sweetie here in this one, making some weird water monster wouldn't be that impossible, right?"

"Ralph does have a point" agreed Felix.

Calhoun still had her doubts but decides to let it go as the creature was dust now. Well, water vapor now anyways. "So, what about the little princess here? She very well can't go back to her own game looking like that now, can she?"

"I'm sure once we get back into our own game, she'll return to normal. Or at least I hope she will" says Roxas.

"And if not, then you can kill her and she should revive back in her normal appearance" says Vanellope which makes everyone look at her like she was crazy. "What? It's true, isn't it?"

"The little glitcher does have a point" admits Calhoun.

"I'm sure that won't be necessary" says Roxas, hoping he was right and as soon as they left this world, Xion would return to normal. "Speaking of that, we should be getting back to our wor...game before we're missed."

"Yeah, we'll get in trouble with the others if they find out we left without permission" adds Xion, having been told quickly by Roxas the cover story while the others had been catching Calhoun up on what had been going on.

"Understandable, but try to get out more often" says Ralph.

"Yeah, you have friends out here now so you would be wise to come visit them from time to time" agreed Vanellope.

"Just make sure you guys don't get in trouble for it though" says Felix.

"Ah, what's a little trouble? Adds some excitement to ones life" says Calhoun, thinking these two needed to grow a bit more of a back bone from what she currently thought of them.

"Yeah, I guess you're right" says Roxas. He and Xion then say their goodbyes and head back to Game Central Station, making quick time back to the game they were thought to be from.

"So, how are we gonna get home, Roxas? Neither of us have our com-devices on us while we're in this current state" asked Xion.

Roxas scratches his head and says "Honestly, I don't know. Maybe..."

Before he could finish, a burst of light appears over them, floating down gently towards Roxas. The Kingdom Key then appears in his hand without warning while the light dims enough for him to see it was a Keychain.

"Is the world...giving me this?" he wonders as his Keyblade forces his hand up to allow the new Keychain to touch the Kingdom Key's chain. The moment they touch, the two meld into one and the Keyblade shifts form, taking on a form that had a thick made handle and was red and orange, the Keychain looking like Ralph's fist.

"Retro Wrecker" reads Roxas, seeing the name printed on the side of the handle. In his mind, he knew what it could do; a Keyblade that can cause massive damage to anything it was hit against. Definitely a useful Keyblade to have in his opinion.

"That makes three Keyblade you now have, Roxas" says Xion, feeling a little jealous as she still had only the one. Then an idea pops into her head. "Say, maybe you can make a portal with it to get us out of here?"

"It's worth a shot" agreed Roxas, aiming the Keyblade out before him and wishing with all his might that it would show them the way. Retro Wrecker responds by shooting a beam of light from its tip, forming a familiar looking portal before them.

"It worked" says Xion excitedly.

"We'll know soon enough. Now, let's head back home" says Roxas as they step into the portal.

(Never Was, an hour later)

"...and if not for the Keyblade being able to make a portal for us, we'd still be stuck there" finished Roxas, having explained evertything to Zexion and Saix as they were the only other two current present in the castle.

"This could be a problem" says Zexion, placing a hand on his chin as he walks around a chair in a circular fashion. "We knew that there were some worlds out there that could make changes to you both for adaptation purposes. But for this to possibly take away your com-devices could be a problem if it happens again."

"Any ideas on how we can avoid this problem in the future?" asked Xion.

"Zexion?" asked Saix.

Zexion sighs as he stops, then says "Without more information on this matter, I can't give any answers that will suffice at this time."

"Well, we could set time tables for you both. A curfew if you will that we expect you both to be back by when we send you to a world together or alone. And if you don't return in the desired time, we can assume something has happen and send someone to investigate" offered Saix.

"That may be the best solution no matter what" says Roxas, getting a nod of agreement from Xion.

"Then we'll alert lord Xemnas and the others of this when they return" says Zexion.

"But for now, go rest you two. You've earned it" says Saix.

The two Keybearers's nod then leave the room. Once they were sure they were alone, Zexion looks at Saix and ask "About that creature they thought? You don't think..."

Saix nods, then says "It reminds me of the creatures that attacked our home ten years ago. Does this mean 'he' could still be in existance?"

This was a serious matter and both wondered what Xemnas would have to say about it...

AN: As I said last chapter, I have some bad news to share. And hear it is. During my current temp work with the Scholastic's company in their warehouse packing books (I'm a seasona employee, kept only as long as they feel they need me), something rather bad happened. A large bruise formed on my right leg, covering most of said leg and fudging me knee up pretty bad. I went to the doctor and they couldn't determine what caused this to happen as I hadn't hit or been hit by anything on the job though I remain assured that working in that damn factory did cause it from muscle stress and so on.

Luckily, m leg has nearly returned to normal, save for a few small remnant bruises that linger and a somewhat still stiff knee tough these are getting better and should be normal by the end of November. My left leg has started to go the way my right leg did, but not nearly as bad as my right leg did which is a good thing as it means it should recover sooner too.

But because I had to go to the hospital (a complete and utter waste of time as they didn't solve or find anything helpful and my leg is healing under its own power), I have to waste precious money to pay them for not doing jack which has set my return to independent living back god knows how long. I'll have a better idea when I get the bill and I fear it may be several thousand bucks knowing how they LOVE to overcharge or so I have been told. This is an especially painful blow for me as I hate, hate, HATE! livng with my brother for reasons I won't go into as its of a personal family based nature and it wouldn't be proper to speak of it aloud. It's enough to say I'm reminded why I prefer living alone to living with others...besides to the fact I enjoy the peace and quiet.

Anyways, next chapter will be the one where Donald and Goofy finally show up. Chapter 17 has been altered due to my current living condition. Originally, it was going to be about Roxas and Xion in the Tangled world but given my unknown return to living on my own and the fact my copy of Tangled is packed up AND because chapters 18,19,and 20 will have a Roxas and Xion thing going, I've decided to make 17 abou Roxas and Axel instead. Not sure what world I'll use yet but I think its needed for their personal bonding moment. So look forward to that gang.

Till next time...
