Now I'm going to be doing a multi-chapter update for Bound by Love before trying to get a few chapters done for another story so I hope that the next few chapters tide y'all over until then

Bound by Love Chapter 2

When Hermione walked into the house, Ron immediately started yelling about her clothes again. She looked down and went over what she was wearing: Fred's old Quidditch team shirt and a pair of short khaki shorts. Fred's shirt. She smiled and remembered. She and Fred had dated during her 5th year. They had taken a break when the twins had left after pulling their prank on Umbridge. She thought about the first time she and Fred had made love and how she had gone down to breakfast wearing his team shirt. Everyone but Ron had figured it out. That summer, she and Fred had tried to resume their relationship, but because of the war and the fact that they had changed so much, they decided to be only friends. Fred had given her the shirt to keep as a gift.

Tired of Ron's bullshit once and for all, Hermione snapped. With wandless magic, she not only Stunned Ron, she also used a Silencing Spell on him. Hermione turned to Molly to explain herself, but before she could Molly just gave an approving nod and smile. She looked over at Harry, Ginny and the twins and saw them smiling as well. She giggled and soon everyone was laughing. Once she was able to breathe, Hermione asked Molly if they could have some of the D.A. over for an impromptu get-together. Molly quickly said yes and Hermione started planning with the others. Before she started contacting the D.A. members she wanted to invite, she revived Ron, dumped him Stunned him again and then locked him in his room so he wouldn't be a bother. She contacted certain members of the D.A. and asked her father to bring Draco. Since Molly knew the truth about the Draco, he was very welcome at the Burrow.

After contacting the people she and the others wanted there, Hermione helped Harry and the Weasley twins set up the tents before going with Ginny to get ready. Ginny was making herself pretty for Harry while Hermione was making herself pretty for someone no one was expecting. Who was Hermione in love with? Lucius Malfoy.

It had begun as hatred during her 2nd year after hearing what he had done to Ginny. Then it changed to a small crush during her 4th year after she remembered how he stared at her during the Quidditch World Cup. It had become love during the Final Battle when he had become a spy for the Order and had saved her during a duel with Bellatrix by diving in front of her to take the Cruciatus Curse. After the battle, she had thanked him and they had become good friends. Since he was a member of the D.A. and friends with her father, Lucius was sure to come.

Since Hermione and Ginny were sharing a room, they got ready together. As Harry's favorite color was blue, Ginny dressed in black hip hugger jeans and dark blue halter top that showed off the phoenix tattoo she had on her back. Hermione knew from her conversations with Lucius that his favorite color was dark red, so she chose black hip hugger jeans and a dark red halter top that showed off her tattoo as well. The black fairy wings on her back suited her and she hoped that Lucius liked them as well. She and Ginny did their makeup and hair, deciding against shoes since the yard was free of any pests or sharp objects. Before heading back outside, Hermione decided to tell Ginny about her feelings for Lucius.

First, she swore Ginny to secrecy, at least until she had told Lucius herself how she felt. Ginny swore and Hermione told her. Ginny was surprised, but not totally shocked at Hermione's revelation. Hermione needed to be with someone she could have an actual conversation with that wasn't just about Quidditch. Lucius Malfoy could do that for her. Ginny decided then and there that she would help Hermione get the man she wanted.

After their talk, Hermione and Ginny went downstairs to wait for everyone to arrive. When Snape arrived with Draco he told Hermione that they would reveal the truth after everyone had arrived and eaten. She agreed and not long after their arrival, everyone else started to show up. To Hermione's delight, Lucius arrived and to everyone's surprise, announced that his and Narcissa's divorce had finally been finalized and that he was in the mood to celebrate. So the party was not only a reunion, but a celebration as well. Molly had prepared a feast, so everyone was happy. Strangely enough, Ginny had been put in charge of the seating arrangements and had put Hermione and Lucius across from each other. During the meal, Lucius stared at Hermione in a way that made her feel warm in a way she hadn't felt since she was with Fred.

Deciding to flirt, she winked at Lucius before turning to Ginny and asking her a question. After dessert, everyone went outside to watch the twins' fireworks show. As everyone watched, Hermione turned to talk to Luna but found Lucius standing next to her and looking at her the same way he had at dinner. She looked around and found Ginny, who was sitting with Harry. When Ginny looked at Hermione, she had the same smile the twins had when they were about to cause mischief. Deciding to take a chance, Hermione turned and smiled at Lucius, who returned it with a sexy smirk.

Lucius asked, "Will you dance with me Miss Granger?" "There's no music though." "Indulge me." He shrunk his cane, took Hermione in his arms and as they danced he said, "Miss Granger, I…" "Lucius, I thought we had moved past formalities a long time ago." He smiled and said, "Of course, forgive me Hermione." Hermione squeezed his hand and said, "You're forgiven. Now, what were you going to say?" He pulled away slightly and asked, "Will you walk with me?" Hermione nodded and they walked away from the party.

Entering a quieter area of the property, Lucius conjured a blanket and sat with Hermione, who was patiently waiting for Lucius to continue. He turned to her and said, "Hermione, I have feelings for you. To be honest, I've had feelings for you for quite some time." Hermione was quiet for some time before she looked up into his eyes and said, "I have feelings for you too Lucius. I love you if you want to hear the truth."

He smiled and said, "I love you Hermione." Then he took her in his arms and seized her mouth with his in a passionate kiss. Hermione wrapped her arms around his neck as Lucius eased her back onto the blanket. When he broke the kiss a few minutes later, they both needed air. He softly kissed her forehead and said, "Hermione, I want you so very badly, but I won't pressure you into anything until you're ready." Hermione smiled and said, " Believe me Lucius, I want you as well but not out in a field where anyone could see us." Leaning close to his ear she whispered, "Not yet anyway." Lucius growled and kissed her again until they were breathless.

Hermione broke the kiss only because she heard Snape calling for her. Guess it was time to reveal the truth. She and Lucius walked back to the house and once they reached the party, Hermione squeezed his hand and went to stand beside Snape. Snape then revealed that he and Hermione were father and daughter. The four that already knew faked surprise, but soon everyone was congratulating and celebrating once more. Then it was time for bed since everyone had to go shopping the next day for school supplies. The D.A. had decided to spend the night in tents outside while all the adults slept inside the Burrow. Hermione and Ginny went inside only to bath and change for bed before turning their room over to other guests.

While they were changing, Ginny asked Hermione, "Are you going to tell him about the scar Hermione?"
