Hey guys, it's DataGrowth here. I originally was going to add this note to the end of the first chapter, but I was in a rush because I was travelling somewhere and wouldn't have internet access where I was going. I found a little wifi port where I'm staying, but I just wanted to have the chapter out before I left.
The first thing I want to say is that this story has been an idea that I've had for a pretty good while. I've put quite a bit of thought into this fic particularly, moreso than some of the other fics that I've already started written. Also, if you've ever heard of me or follow any of my other stories, you probably know that I'm not able to update my stories as frequently as I'd like to be able to. Starting from today, as I type this, I'm hoping to find some more time to continue writing due to the wrapping up of a large project that I'd been working on that consumed most of my time in the past.
Thanks for the reviews too, guys! You guys are the greatest. I just want to say that by no means do I consider myself a perfect writer, and I really am thankful for the criticisms I get on this website that help me improve as a writer as well as the knowledge I have of the time periods that I base some of my fics around (like the shotgun anachronism, I didn't even realize haha!)
