Hello! I'm still here, alive and well. I have been suffering a very serious case of writers block. I am so sorry for the long wait!
But anyway, I made an extra-long chapter for you guys! It would be appreciated if you can R&R, as I love getting constructive criticism and just some reviews on what you guys think of it! Anyway, on with the story!
Disclaimer- I do not own Scooby Doo or Twilight, they belong to Hanna Barbara and Stephanie Meyer

Shaggy woke groggily at 9:30am. He climbed out of bed and looked around the room, which was slightly dark, as it was winter and the nights were longer. He saw the shape of Fred on the sofa and Scooby sleeping on the end of the bed. He jumped in the shower and then put on his trademark green t-shirt and a pair of Fred's jeans, which were slightly too big for him, but that was fixed by Shaggy slipping a brown belt around his waist. He slipped on his black sneakers and walked out the door making his way to the car park and climbing into the van.
Sitting in the Mystery Machine, with his hands on the steering wheel, he knew that the hospital would not gladly give away the Cullens address. Putting the key in the ignition, he started the van up and drove out of the car park. Road signs for Forks General Hospital were instantly shown as he pulled out onto the road. The hospital was only about 2 miles from the B&B, and as Shaggy turned into the parking lot, he started looking for directions to the reception. This was easy to spot, as he drove past a bright sign declaring that this was the main entrance. Stopping the van, he climbed out and walked inside the building and to reception, where a young blonde was sitting. Her mouth was moving up and down, as if she was chewing gum, and she had earphones stuffed in her ears.
He knocked on the glass wall separating him and the receptionist. The girl took the plugs out of her ears.
"Mom!" The girl yelled, and an older woman with short brown hair came out of a small looking office.
"Honey, if you want to be a receptionist, you need to start talking to the patients." The woman said, and she budged the blonde haired girl out of the seat.
"How can I help you, dear?"
"Hi, my name is Shaggy Rogers, I'm a detective from Mystery Incorporated. Is Doctor Cullen available to speak to?"
"Doctor Cullen? Yes, I think he is in this morning. Is it an emergency?"
"Well, no, but I am a detective."
"Of course. I'll just go check if he's with a patient, and if he's free I'll bring him out to you. Do you want to take a seat?" The lady said, as she gestured to the several plastic chairs. The lady then went through some double doors. Shaggy sat down on the seats, which were slightly uncomfortable, and looked around his surroundings. There was a hot drinks vending machine, and next to that was a chocolate/crisps machine. There were 2 tables with a selection of magazines, and a box of children's toys and books. Aside from all this, the waiting room was empty. The girl behind the desk at reception was staring at him, still chewing her gum very heavily.
Suddenly, the double doors opened and the woman came back, alongside a young-looking, tall man.
He had blonde hair, slicked up, and he wore some blue jeans, a t-shirt and a white doctor's coat, with a stethoscope draped around his neck. Shaggy stood up and shook hands with the doctor.
"Doctor Cullen?"
"Yes. And you are?"
"My names Shaggy Rogers, I'm part of Mystery Incorporated."
"Of course. Please, come into my office." Doctor Cullen led Shaggy through the various hallways and corridors, finally leading to a very large, expensive looking office.
"Sit down, Shaggy." The doctor said, as he gestured to a large leather chair. Shaggy sat down, sinking into the chair, which was very comfy. Doctor Cullen sat opposite in an even bigger desk chair.
"How can I help you?" He enquired.
"Well, I'm here with my friends to find out what these wolves are up in the forest. Have you heard about them?"
"I have."
"Ok, have you seen them, or do you know anyone else who might've seen them?"
"I haven't seen them myself personally-"
"We spoke to Charlie Swan yesterday, the chief of police, and he said your son, Edward, was married to his daughter, Bella?" Shaggy interrupted.
"Yes, he is. I was about to say, my son may have seen the wolves you are talking about."
"Really? But, your son is in Switzerland, with Bella?"
Doctor Cullen hesitated slightly, before carrying on. "No. Edward is at home, and Bella is in Switzerland. Edward will be joining her later this week…"
"Do you think, maybe, that Edward is available to talk to? Maybe, I could come to your house, and see him?"
"I really do not think that is very wise, Shaggy."
"Are you hiding something, Doctor Cullen?"
After a brief pause, Doctor Cullen replied. "No. Of course, you can visit Edward."
"Thank you."
"I finish my shift in ten minutes, I'll drive you to my home." Shaggy and Doctor Cullen exited his officer, with Shaggy making his way to the waiting room again.
After a while, Doctor Cullen came into the waiting room, his white overalls replaced with a black fleece jumper. The Doctor led Shaggy to a black Mercedes S55 AMG. Climbing it, Shaggy sunk into the black leather. The car was very fancy, and had that new car smell. Doctor Cullen climbed into the driver's side, and started the engine, which hardly made a sound.
"Nice car." Shaggy remarked.
"Thank you Shaggy." The two then resorted to an awkward silence for the rest of the journey. Eventually, the car pulled up outside a grand, modern house. The front of the house was nearly entirely made out of glass, so Shaggy could see right through. Exiting the car, he followed the doctor to the wooden door. It was very white; the walls, the carpet, the single chair in the corner of the room. Even the wide stairs were white. The only colour on this first floor of the house was from a potted green plant in the corner of the room.
"Carlisle." A female voice was heard from upstairs.
"Hello Esme." Carlisle called up the stairs. He wiggled his finger, gesturing for Shaggy to follow him upstairs. Climbing the stairs, he came onto the second floor, and into the faces of 6 frozen people.
"Carlisle, how could you be so stupid?" Esme shouted. Shaggy nervously glanced around, unsure of what to say.
"Esme, darling, wait. Look at him." Esme turned to look at him, making Shaggy feel uncomfortable.
"Uhh, hi?" He said, weakly.
"I'll let you off Carlisle. But it's dangerous for Bella." Hearing her name, Shaggy gave a confused look to the doctor.
"Bella? What about Bella?" Carlisle sighed.
"Follow me." He said, walking into the room on the right. There were two white sofas, and on one sat a brown haired girl and a boy. The same girl, in fact, that was supposedly very sick and in Switzerland.
"What the hell is going on?" Shaggy looked at Carlisle.
"I'm sorry, Shaggy. There has been a misunder-"
"No, this is no misunderstanding. Your dad thinks you're in Switzerland, you know!" He looked at Bella, who was burrowed into the brown haired boy's chest. She didn't appear to be breathing and her eyes were also closed.
"Umm, is she ok?" He asked the brown haired boy. The boy was staring at Shaggy, then turning to look at Carlisle, his eyes narrowed. Shaggy felt a sense of unease come upon him.
"Edward." Turning around, Shaggy came face to face with a tanned, black haired boy. He was holding a baby in his arms. Suddenly, the black haired boy's arms weakened. In the blink of an eye, the blonde haired girl, who had been standing about 5 metres away had the baby in her arms.
"Carlisle, what the hell is this?" The black haired boy demanded.
"Jacob, there will be time for explanations later. I'm sorry, Shaggy where are my manners? This is Esme, my wife. Then my children: Edward, Alice, Jasper, Rosalie, Emmett and Bella. This is Jacob, and Ness…Renesmee." He gestured to each of the people.
"Carlisle, I don't really care about formalities. What the hell is going on? How did she get from there to there in a quarter of a second?" He pointed to Rosalie.
"Why is Bella here and not in Switzerland? And why is there a smell of wet dog?" There was a small chuckle from the boy on the sofa.
"Shaggy, sit down, and I'll explain everything." Shaggy walked to the sofa, under the scrutiny of Edward's…gold…eyes.
"Don't lie to me, Carlisle. I'm a detective, I know these things." A snigger could be heard coming from Emmett. That did sound so geeky though Shaggy admitted to himself.
"Don't worry, Shaggy. As you can see, Bella is well." Looking over to her, she was still in the same position as earlier.
"Yeah, she looks well." He replied sarcastically.
"She is fine. The thing is, she fell pregnant. We were hiding her until she gave birth." He looked over at Rosalie who was holding the baby.
"Carlisle, I said don't lie to me. I saw pictures of her wedding, which was a few weeks ago according to Charlie, and she was not pregnant then."
"Shaggy, I can tell you that-"
"Are you actually telling me that in the space of 1 month, Bella fell pregnant and gave birth? I thought you were a doctor!" After thinking about how to answer the question, Carlisle looked to the rest of the family, who were nodding in agreement. Tell him. Tell him. Go on Carlisle, he already knows about Jacob. He's a werewolf, it's not as if he's going to care.
"Shaggy, there are some things in this world that humans, like yourself, don't need to know about." Carlisle had checkmated him. Shaggy couldn't tell them that he was a werewolf. He looked around the room at the different members of the Cullen clan, and his gaze finally settled on Jacob.
"There are some questions that cannot be answered." Carlisle quietly said. Shaggy continued looking at Jacob, the gears in his head ticking.
"Like, why is there a wet dog smell?" It finally clicked. Shaggy stood up, gasping. Jacob Black is a wolf. The abnormal large wolf. I've gotta tell Charlie.
"NO!" Edward startlingly shouted. He was glaring at Shaggy.
"Please don't." His eyes dropped to the floor, and he relaxed a little.
"What?"
"Please don't tell him."
"I've got…wait. How did you know I was thinking that?"
"Shaggy, like I said, there are questions that cannot be answered."
"Don't give me that crap, Dr. Cullen. How did your son know what I was thinking?" Carlisle Cullen sighed, looked at Edward and nodded. Edward nudged Bella and whispered something into her ear. Bella very slowly looked up, and what Shaggy saw made him jump. Bella had strikingly red eyes, and she was deathly pale. But at the same time, she looked fresh, new, beautiful.
"You…you're a…a vampire." He looked around the room. "You're all vampires?" Shaggy backed away slowly. Bella nodded timidly.
"But not him." She pointed to Jacob.
"I know."
"Please. Shaggy, do not tell Charlie. If any human finds out about us, then they have to either be killed or turned themselves. Those options would destroy Bella either way. Please." Edwards pleading eyes burned through him, but not only did he use eye contact, but also the sound of his voice sounded desperate.
"No, I've got to tell him. You should have seen Charlie, he was crying when we interviewed him. I'm sorry but I-" He suddenly seemed to change his mind. He felt compelled to help them.
"Thank you Jasper." Edward muttered.
"Fine. Okay. I'll help. But I need to speak to Charlie anyway. Just to inform of any changes."
"Thank you, Shaggy." Edward stood up and walked towards Shaggy. Flinching, Shaggy at first thought he was going to be bitten by Edward, but then realised he was holding his hand out. Taking his hand, they shook. Edward had a small grin on his face.
"I'm not Dracula, you know."
"Don't even mention that name." Edward unleashed a crooked smile.
Following Dr. Cullen to the front door, he offered Shaggy a ride back to the hospital to collect his car. They didn't speak during the journey, but exchanged thanks at the end. Shaggy climbed out the car, and Dr. Cullen sped off. Climbing into the Mystery Machine, he buckled his belt, set the sat-nav and made his way to tell Chief Swan the developments.
