Step by step Danny taught Danielle everything he knew about Cryokinetic powers, he and to his amazement she was doing better than him when he first started. He'd be a little jealous if it hadn't been for his fatherly pride.
He created ice statues of some of his enemies and told her the target spots where she needed to strike. She landed her mark on each one one the first go.
"I DID IT, I DID IT, I DID IT." Dani cheered while jumping up and down and pumping her fists in the air.
"Yes you did, and on your first try too, I'm impressed." Danny said as he walked up to her.
"But why did I have to hit those exact spots daddy?" She asked not seeing what her father was trying to teach her.
"Because that's where their weak spots are." He then knelt down behind her and pointed to the statue of Johnny 13. "Johnny 13 gets his power from his bad luck shadow, Now in a real fight an Icicle wouldn't do much damage, but bright light will send it packing."
"Bright light, got it." Danielle made made a mental note of her father every word.
He then moved on to the statue of Ember. "Ember gets stronger by hypnotizing people with her guitar and making them chant her name, the more people that chant the stronger she becomes, but her guitar is like a conduit for her power."
"So I should aim for that, right?"
"Not exactly, breaking her guitar will keep her from controlling others. You have to stop the people from chanting or extinguish her pony-tail. Doing either one will render her powerless." The next was Skulker. "Skulker is a hunter and he's been after me since I was young, which means he'll be after you too, I was barely able to get away from him back then but if you're resourceful, and you remember that he's just a tiny ghost in a big metallic suit, you'll see he's not that big a deal. The head houses his true form, disconnect that from the body and he's down for the count."
"How small is he?"
"About the size of a frog."
The last statue was of the Ghost King, Pariah Dark. "Now I know it's unlikely that you'll ever run into him, but Pariah Dark get's a lot of power from his crown and ring. He's still strong without them but can be defeated."
"Can you tell me the story of how you beat him?"
"Sure, after training," He then walked away and started making a new ice statue.
"Who's that?" Danielle asked looking at the statue of an angry person on a strange board.
Danny's expression turned serious. "This is the Red Huntress. Now Dani, listen very carefully she may look intimidating but she's still human and has feelings like everyone else. She use to be part of the higher crowd until her father lost his job at Axiom Labs because of... a ghost related incident and she lost everything. Her great hatred for ghosts makes her a force to reckoned with. Since she's not a ghost your ghost scene won't work on her so you have to be extra vigilant. Also, when dealing with her, winning the fight isn't what matters, but getting away should be your number one priority, and the best way to do that is to take out her hover board. Make sure she's close to the ground otherwise," Danny then blasted the statue at the board causing it to topple to the ground and shatter. "Do you understand."
"Yes daddy, I understand."
KA-BOOM!
Danny and Danielle cringed the explosion. When the smoke cleared what shocked Danny the most was who flew in, the Red Huntress.
"YOUR MINE GHOST SCUM."
"Huntress!" Danny exclaimed as he dashed to grab Danielle only to be hit by a purple blast from the Red Huntress and slammed into a wall.
"NO, DADDY!" Danielle shrieked.
"Stay back Dani," Danny groaned as he stood and faced the Red Huntress. "I don't wanna fight you Valerie."
"Don't give me that Phantom, I saw what you did to that ice statue of me."
"You saw that?"
"You bet I did, and now I know what side you're really on." Huntress then summoned her cubic cannons and fired on Danny, who dodged every shot.
"Hold still ghost!" Huntress was getting angrier with each passing second.
"Sure, and how about a draw a bulls-eye on my forehead." Danny quipped, irritating Huntress even more. She suddenly heard a small giggle and turned to see Dani hiding behind an old crate.
"Alright Phantom, lets see if your so-called daughter can dodge as well as you." Huntress said as she aimed her wrist cannon at the crate and fired it.
"NO!" Danny was expecting an explosion but instead Danielle was coated in a pink slime from the neck down. The slime quickly solidified freezing the young Phantom in place.
"GOTCHA!" taking advantage of the opportunity Huntress fired a blast that knocked phantom right out of the sky, she then bombarded him with blast after blast, not giving him time to recover. She was going to end it once and for all.
Dani watched in horror as her father was mercilessly attacked over and over again by Huntress. She felt tears roll down her cheeks and looked away.
Huntress stopped her attack and jumped to the ground to better inspect her work. Phantom was on his back, panting, trying to get back up.
"Please *pant* Valerie-"
"Begging won't help you, your done for." Huntress interrupted, she took aim at Phantom ready to finish the job.
"Valerie stop!" All eyes turned to where the new voice originated. It was Damon Grey, Valerie's father.
