Chapter 1
Disclaimer: I own nothing and this is the only chapter I'm going to post it in.
I was sitting with my two friends, Maria and Zack, laughing about how stupid the myths we were learning were when there was a knock at the door and in walked my 'Uncle' Sev, who lived in England.
I looked at him questioningly as he went and started to talk with the teacher. As he was talking he kept glancing and motioning over to me. I tried to read their lips but they were too far away and not opening their mouths enough. Finally I gave up and turned back to Maria and Zack.
"So who's that dude?" asked Maria as I turned back waiting for an answer along with Zack.
"Oh, that's my 'Uncle' Sev. He's a really good friend of my dad's. They both went to collage together so ya." I answered them before turning back to see if Uncle Sev was done talking to my teacher and almost had a heart attack because they were standing right behind me.
"Hey Uncle Sev, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in England teaching at your school?" I asked while looking up at him questioningly.
"I'm here to take you from school. So gather your stuff so we can leave." He said solemnly without saying or doing anything else.
I nodded confused and started to gather up my stuff. Once I was done I said bye to Maria and Zack before following Sev out of the door.
We were quiet as we walked out of the school and out to the parking lot. Finally at about halfway through the parking lot I couldn't take it any longer and blurted out,
"Why are you here and why did you take me out of school? Does my dad know you're here? Why did they even let you take me from school I don't think that you are on the list that they have? Also where is your car?"
He was quiet for a few minutes until we were behind the football field when he finally stopped walking and turned to me.
"Emily what I am about to say is going to shock you but you have to believe me and you have to try your absolute hardest not to freak out or to totally dismiss what I am going to tell you, ok?"
I nodded while wondering what was going to most likely shock me and that I wouldn't believe.
He took a breath and then said,
"Emily, I'm a wizard. Your father was also one and you are a witch. And the reason that I was able to come and get you is because your father and mother have disappeared and we are pretty sure that the Dark Lord, otherwise known as Voldemort, is behind it."
