Maui Mall

11:00 AM

Massie Block strutted through the large, Mall hallway, trying not to show one hint of her anger or sadness towards Derrick. She walked in perfect step to "Glamorous" by Fergie. Everybody around her couldn't help but stare. She was beautiful.

She walked into Hollister co. in search for a new Spa tank. But instead she walked straight into Derrick.

Derrick's eyes widened and managed to say, "Hey, Mass."

Massie rolled her eyes and pushed past him, but he grabbed her forearm before she could get past him.

"What," she snapped, her amber eyes glaring at him.

Derrick flinched. "C'mon Massie, you know you want to forgive me," he suggested flirtatiously.

"No Derrick, I really don't," she replied flatly, pulling away from his grip.

"I'm really sorry," he whined.

Massie couldn't help but look into his large, beautiful brown eyes. But she managed to look away. "Just leave me alone," she said as she walked away.

Derrick looked at her longingly. He had to get her back, he thought to himself.

Massie went about her business. She picked out some tank tops and went to go try them on. When she stepped out of the changing room she was bombarded with people, asking for pictures and autographs. She signed a couple and pushed past the crowd to find about 20 cameras from different tabloids.

They were all waving PEOPLE magazine. Then she remembered. Just a few days ago she and Derrick were on the front cover. The picture was absolutely horrendous. The photographer had been at the perfect angle. It showed Massie slapping Derrick across the face.

Massie stopped dead in her tracks. How embarrassing! Never in all her life had she been more humiliated.

She dropped all the items she had been holding, and quickly walked straight out of Hollister, head down and made her way towards Starbucks. She immediately cut in front of the line and ordered a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino. Everybody looked startled but they knew not to mess with amber-eyed beauty. The line dispersed and before long Massie was the only one in Starbucks.

The man handed Massie her Frappuccino. She took a long, satisfying sip of it and handed the guy a 20 bill and walked off. Immediately she felt better. Her body felt like it had just been recharged with its very own Alpha battery.

As the cameras followed her throughout the Mall, all she did was simply smile and act cool and collected. Never again, would the cameras catch Massie in such a state of embarrassment.

Soon, Massie had finished shopping and made her way back to her car. She opened the door to her Porsche and found a bushel or roses in the passenger seat. She picked them up and admired the beauty of the large red roses. She then realized a card was attached. She held it up to the light and began to read:

Dear Massie,

I know I'm the last person you'd probably want to talk to right now, but I can't stop thinking about you. Every blink I take I see you… Every breath I take, I think of you. You're my world Mass, without you it'll fall apart.

Please meet me tonight, at The China Doll, at 8:00 pm.

-Derrick

Massie's heart leapt, but then remembered that she was supposed to be angry at him. She thought and thought about it on her drive home and before long came to a conclusion…

Who says I can't GO, I'll just go and break his heart…, she decided.

8:00 PM

The China Doll

Massie strutted into The China Doll and immediately spotted Derrick. H of course, looked HOT! He was wearing his diesel jeans, and a red polo. He looked amazing!

Massie of course, looked amazing too. In her Betsey Johnson skinny jeans, and her Splendid tank Derrick couldn't keep his eyes off her.

Massie sat down in the seat next to Derrick and immediately called over a waiter.

"Martini," she demanded as the man scribbled it down on his pad of paper.

Derrick gulped and nodded his head.

"So Derrick, why'd you ask me to come here tonight," Massie asked as she reapplied her lip gloss.

"I asked you to come here tonight because I think we need to talk," he responded taking her hand to hold onto.

"Well, what would you like to talk about," she said, snapping her compact mirror shut and dropping it back into her Coach clutch.

Derrick stiffened. "About what happened the other night," he held his glare.

Massie sighed. "We both know what happened the other night, Derrick. YOU cheated on ME, end of story."

"Mass, there's a story that led to it," Derrick began to explain.

Massie took a sip of her martini, never taking her amber glare off Derrick.

"You were late Massie, an HOUR late," he continued. "I thought you stood me up, I had a few drinks… and one thing led to another. Then I realized you were never late, you were there the whole time."

Massie nodded her head. "But Derrick, I don't understand it. I mean, every other guy would have just left the party, and would have left an angry voicemail or text on their girlfriend's phone. NOT make out with a drunken slut," she pointed out.

"I know I messed up Massie," Derrick started.

"Good, but that's not enough Derrick," Massie said as she stood up. Her plan was in full effect.

"What else do I need to do," Derrick said standing up alongside Massie.

"Oh Derrick, don't be so naïve. Did you honestly expect me to forgive you that easily," she asked.

"Um, well I guess," Derrick stuttered.

"Wrong," Massie scoffed. "Goodbye, Derrick," Massie said lastly as she made her way to the door.

Derrick didn't even bother calling after her. If Massie wanted a fight, then a fight Massie would get. He wanted her back; he wasn't going to let this get in his way…

Did you like it? Sorry it was so short, I promise I'll update sooner next time! Vote, Massington or a new couple??
