Massie's Beach House

11:00 AM

Kristen looked at David in astonishment. Had David overheard her and Kemp's whole conversation? Had he heard her say "I love you" to Kemp?

"David… it was nothing," Kristen stood up and removed Kemp's hands from her hips.

"What do you mean it was nothing," Kemp asked angrily as he stood up beside Kristen.

"I mean, it was something, but it meant nothing," Kristen stuttered, her words confusing herself.

"Kristen, I can't believe you would betray me like this," David yelled.

"David, I love YOU," she yelped, tears coming to her eyes.

"You just said you loved ME," Kemp's voice boomed.

Kristen began to cry. She was so confused. David or Kemp?

"I'm sorry," Kristen whispered.

David and Kemp looked at each other in confusion.

"Kristen, have a good life," David said nastily as he slammed the door shut.

"Wait… don't go," she yelled after him, her voice cracking.

"I can't believe you, Kristen. You're such a bitch. I don't EVER want to see you again," Kemp screamed as he followed David out the door, leaving Kristen alone to cry.

Kristen felt her body collapse on the floor, and sobbed.

She had just lost the two people she loved the most…

Alicia's POV

Alicia arrived at the Paper Lantern looking fabulous and all eyes on her. She stepped out of her yellow Ferrari, and onto the parking lot pavement. She strutted into the Paper Lantern with loads of confidence, and immediately spotted Josh.

He was sitting at the bar, probably drinking his 5th beer.

"Hey," Alicia called out to him flirtatiously, as she took the seat next to him.

He looked at her drunkenly and when he saw her dress, it immediately struck him back to reality.

Alicia was wearing an extremely short mini dress from Betsey Johnson and tall, black boots. She could have been mistaken for a stripper.

"Hey," Josh stuttered as he looked her up and down several times.

"Martini," she ordered gingerly.

Alicia glared at Josh, expecting him to give her a compliment.

"Oh, Ummm… you look great, Alicia. Nice dress," Josh managed.

Alicia giggled, "You look great too,"

"So… how are you," Alicia asked, taking a sip of her martini.

"I'm good… soccer is having its off season right now, so I'm just relaxing her with my boys," Josh explained.

Alicia nodded. "I know how you feel. It's so great to be relaxing and taking a break from all the paparazzi."

Josh laughed.

"What," Alicia asked, amused by Josh's sudden outburst. She began to laugh herself.

"Well, it's just in high school...," Josh began.

"I wasn't able to have a decent conversation without sex involved," Alicia completed his sentence. She had heard that so many times from many of her old high-school friends.

"Exactly, I mean guys wanted to be with you because you were hot… not because of your intelligence or your ability to have a conversation," Josh added.

"You used me," Alicia whispered, and then ran out of the restaurant.

Josh looked at her run away and then it hit him… Why the hell did I just do that to the woman I love the most?

He began to run after Alicia, but by the time her had gotten to the parking lot, Alicia had driven away. He looked into the distance and something caught his eye.

A single piece of paper was left where Alicia's car had been parked. He picked it up and began to read:

Josh:

I know that I may have given you the wrong idea, by the clothes I wore or the way I acted, but that doesn't mean that you had the right to take advantage of me…

By the time you've read this I will be long gone… If you want to apologize, don't.

-Alicia

For the first time in his life, Josh Hotz regretted something he had done. He had just ruined his chances of EVER being with Alicia Rivera.

Unless…

Massie's POV

"Kuh- LAIRE, we are going to be SO late for the Victoria's Secret Fashion show," Massie exclaimed, as she slid her D&G sunglasses on and zipped up her Juicy hoodie.

"Okay," Claire yelled back to Massie as she ran down the large staircase that led to the driveway. She slid into her black Lamborghini and pulled up next to Massie's blue Porsche.

Massie turned up the volume on the radio to "Glamorous" by Fergie.

Claire did the same and followed Massie's lead to the coastal highway.

Soon, they had reached the luxurious building that was hosting the Victoria's secret fashion show. Massie and Claire parked their cars side-by-side in their designated parking spaces.

They walked together into the hectic dressing room where the models were expected to change into their outfits and prepare themselves for the runway.

Immediately Massie's personal hair stylist, make-up artist, and fashion consultant spotted her in the crowded room and pulled her over to the side to begin to style her.

"Massie, it is so good to see you," Jakkob, he hair stylist, said in his heavy accent, as he embraced her in a hug.

Massie nodded.

"Mass, you look AH-MAZING," Talia, her make-up artist commented.

"Thanks," Massie replied graciously.

"Okay, well we should get you dressed," Stella, her fashion consultant said as she handed Massie her selected outfit. "Go put that on and HURRY," she demanded.

Massie hurried off to the nearest dressing room and put on her barely-there outfit. She was modeling a lavender push-up bra and a thong, and of course, a feather boa and headdress.

"Massie, you look amazing," Claire squealed when as she exited the dressing room.

"Ehmagawd, you look great too," Massie replied commenting on Claire's silk nightgown.

Suddenly, the director came over the loudspeaker addressing the models to get in line.

"I'm first," Massie said worriedly.

"You'll do great," Claire assured her.

"Thanks," Massie said as she began to make her way to her starting post.

"Good Luck," Claire whispered after her.

Jakkob and Talia did some last minute touch ups on Massie's make-up and Stella perfected her outfit.

Finally, the show was about to begin.

Massie could feel the butterflies in her stomach, but shook them away as she stepped out onto the runway.

The extremely large room was pitch black and then one spot light landed directly on Massie at the head of the runway.

"Independent Girl" by Ne-Yo began to blast through the speaker and Massie began her catwalk.

She skillfully made her way to the end of the runway, and grinned out into the audience, but then she saw… Derrick?!

Wait, that couldn't be him, right…?

She shook her thoughts from her head and gave a sexy pose.

"Massie," she heard someone whisper.

Her facial expressions turned to worry as she saw Derrick stand up onto the runway next to Massie.

The audience gasped.

"Derrick, you're ruining the SHOW," Massie hissed.

Derrick flinched, but he couldn't leave without hearing Massie say 3 simple words.

"I love you," Derrick confessed.

"Awww…" the audience said.

Massie cold feel her facial expressions softening and her knees loosing feeling.

"Say you love me back, it's the only way I'll ever be happy," Derrick pleaded, his puppy dog eyes growing larger.

"I can't," Massie whispered.

"Please, Massie," he whispered back.

Massie cut him off with a passionate kiss.

"I love you," Massie whispered into his ear.
