Massie's Beach House (Dylan's Bedroom)
7:00 AM
Dylan woke up to the bright sun shining through her bedroom window. She let out a loud yawn and looked at the digital clock that stood on the side table next to her bed. She groaned when she looked at the time: 7:00 AM! Dylan rolled over onto her side but she felt another person in the bed…?
She looked at the man who was in the bed: Chris! How did he get in her bed? Did they have sex last night?
And then she remembered… Chris had kissed her yesterday on Alicia's yacht! That kiss turned on to a full on make out, and then… this.
Dylan shook Chris awake. He let out a loud yawn and his blue eyes opened. They looked deep into Dylan's emerald eyes.
"Good Morning, babe," Chris said as he leaned in for a kiss, but Dylan pulled away.
"Did we… have sex last night?" she asked him.
"Yes. You don't remember?" he asked her, confused.
She shook her head yes. "Chris, I don't think we should see each other anymore." Dylan said, looking into his eyes.
"What, NO. Dylan, I love you, and I thought you loved me too! Why?" Chris asked, his voice shaking. He obviously cared about Dylan, and Dylan obviously loved him too. But it was all just too confusing…
"Chris, you don't understand! I do love you, but things just haven't worked out in the past… don't you see?" she asked, tears stinging her eyes.
Chris got up from the bed and his voice boomed, "Bull, Dylan! You know that's bullshit! We love each other! It's taken me 10 years to admit my feelings for you, and after one night… it's all over? And NO, I don't understand. I DON'T see what you see, BUT I know that that all we need is to be together!"
Dylan could feel the tears pouring down her face. She couldn't look at Chris. She loved him, but something inside her was telling her that Chris wasn't the… one. And another part of her just wanted to kiss him and tell him that she loved him and that she felt the same way, but it's like something inside of her wouldn't let her do that… and Dylan knew that she should trust what her body was telling her.
Chris looked at Dylan crying hysterically on the bed and how she wasn't able to look at him or talk to him. He could feel the tears in his eyes. He really did love her, and he didn't want to lose her.
"I'm sorry, Dylan. I'm so sorry!" his voice shook, as he walked out of the room leaving Dylan alone… to cry.
Claire's POV
Claire looked out onto the runway from backstage and watched Massie get practically swept off her feet from Derrick.
The whole crowd was "oohing" and "ahhing" for them as they joined in a kiss.
Claire couldn't help but wish that happened to her with Cam but then she shook herself back to reality.
I love Roger. But wait… do I really know that? I mean I've only known the guy for a day and I've know Cam for… practically my whole life. Uhhh… why does everything always have to be about… CAM?
"Claire!" someone called behind her.
She spun around to see Roger holding a bouquet of flowers in his hands, but something didn't seem right…
"Oh, hey Roger." Claire said with little enthusiasm.
"I brought you flowers, for good luck." Roger said, handing her the flowers.
"Oh, thanks." She said quietly as she took the bouquet.
"Is something wrong?" he asked, stepping closer to Claire and taking her hand in his.
"Um, no. Nothing's wrong. Thanks for the flowers." Claire said.
"Um, okay. I think I'll just be on my way then." He said gesturing towards the door.
Claire nodded. "Bye." She said.
"Bye." He said awkwardly, as Roger walked out of the large building.
Claire sighed. Roger was awesome. He said all the right things, and did everything perfectly, but why did he make Claire feel so empty?
But Cam… Cam did everything WRONG, but made her feel like she meant something, to HIM, and that was all that mattered in the world…
And then she understood…
Claire sprinted out of the runway building and left everyone watching her sudden outbreak. She hopped into her and sped off as fast as she could.
She had to find Cam… before it was too late.
Kristen's POV
Kristen buttered her bagel and opened the daily Hawaiian Newspaper. She flipped through the main news and groaned when she saw the Fanfare section. The main article was of how the press had found Kristen crying hysterically on Massie's porch. She read the article and rolled her eyes. How could she allow herself to be so vulnerable to the paparazzi… but whatevs. That was the least of her worries right now. She had just lost BOTH Kemp and David, and plus she was so confused.
Kemp or David? But it's not like it mattered… they both hated her.
"Kristen!" She heard a voice behind her.
She spun around to discover David carrying a box of her belongings.
"I just came by, to give you all the things that you left at my place… now that we're over." He said nastily.
Kristen stood up from her chair and stomped over to David and snatched the box from his hands. "Fine!" she scoffed in his face.
She walked to the granite countertop and put the box on it. She pulled out the box's items.
"My blow-drier, my soccer trophies and medals, my novel, and… my ring." Kristen said as she held up the items.
"This isn't my ring." Kristen said as she inspected it.
"Well, it would've been your ring. I just had no use for it, so I thought you may as well have it." David explained.
"What do you mean, it would've been my ring?" Kristen asked, confused by David's explanation.
"Well, yesterday I WAS planning on proposing to you over a romantic dinner, but then… I found out about Kemp." He said.
Kristen sighed as she collapsed into the refurbished stool that stood in front of the countertop.
"It was a mistake, David! Kemp was the biggest mistake of my life! I love YOU! You're the one I love, not HIM!" Kristen screamed.
David walked over to her and snatched the ring from her.
He got down on one knee, and with tears in his eyes asked, "Kristen Gregory, will you marry me?"
I am SO sorry for the long wait! It's just that I was so busy with school and soccer!
I hope you liked this chapter! Next chapter will be Massie and Alicia and Kristen's response to David's proposal!
