Chapter 1 Devil of Jura
10 years ago before Rimuru arrives in Jura forest
Treyni and her sisters just recently moved to Jura forest. During this time there was a lot of dangerous wildlife. A young Treyni and her sisters are being chased by a group of large brown sabertooth wolves that stood at six feet tall on all fours and are known to be extremely dangerous and aggressive when hunting in groups. High up in the trees something even larger was pursuing the wolf's without them knowing. Along the way the number of wolves mysteriously started to decrease. The wolves had backed Treyni and her sisters into a corner and begun to circle around the sisters. The sisters decided to make a last stand. Two wolves charge in and leap into the air. This was the opportunity she was waiting for. Using her powers, Treyni used vines from the forest to catch them in mid air and used a sharp branch to pierce the inside of their mouth and through their head. Death was instant.
They used the opening to head back the way they came and tried to slow them down but they easily evaded the wolves. They were now traveling through a narrow path. They were about to reach the exit when one of the sabertooth wolves appeared in front of them and cut off their exit. It had a grin on its face as it watched the sisters in fear. The other wolf appeared on the opposite side to prevent them from trying to escape. In the brief moment they turn their backs the other wolf from the exit leaps and pins Treyni to the ground snapping its fangs at her. Treyni was doing her best to hold it back from biting and crushing her throat. The wolf from the other side was growling and flaring its teeth at the sisters. The two younger sisters were scared for their life. The wolf was preparing to leap at the younger sisters, when suddenly something knocked the wolf off its feet and pinned it to a tree. The other wolf that had deep scars on its face looked up to see what was going on. It felt the presence of something but it could not see it. The next moment, it was suddenly flung off and also pinned to a nearby tree. Treyni looked around and saw no one around. She was shaken by the presence of this mysterious and unseen being. Remembering her sisters, she runs over to the girls, hugs them tightly and then they immediately leave the area.
The area was quiet now. The first large brown wolf that was attacked, half its body had fallen to the ground now. The other wolf was no longer moving. The object that impaled it began to decloak revealing a metallic kind of spear (combi spear). The next day Treyni was tracing her steps back to the area where the wolves were slain. All the wolves were not where they were supposed to be. When she came to the last known location of the forest, she found the wolves. They were all hung up, and two heads and spines were missing. The two she killed with branches still had their heads. Those two were separated from the others. She noticed that both had one large fang tooth missing from their mouth. Treyni walked a little closer and saw something inside one of the wolf's mouths. She grabbed the object and observed it. It was a necklace with two large wolf teeth.
"Whatever it was, it saved me and my sisters." she thought to herself.
"It's better to stay far away from this area." She said as she looked around.
Rising Beastmen 5 years before Rimuru
Near the edge of the forest, a group of beastmen decide to try their skills against some of the more challenging monsters in the Jura Forest. They knew it would be dangerous, but at the same time they would be recognized for their great feat back in their country. The three beastmen Albis, Suphia and Phobio had heard rumors of strong monsters being taken out by a single person, in addition to hearing about the "Devil of Jura". The three beastmen had two objectives: to bring back a monster they killed and to uncover the truth about this invisible demon.
"Hey you guys heard about the rumors in the Jura forest?" Suphia asked them.
"Are you referring to the Devil of Jura, in the hot areas? I too have heard about it. Though I doubt it has anything to do with taking out some of the strong monsters in the forest." Albis replied.
"I don't give two shits about some Devil of Jura. It's probably some rogue elfs trying to make a name for themselves. They are very good with magicules, you know." Phobio replied.
"Well that's the thing, no one has confirmed who or what it is." Albis replied.
"We should capture it and take it back with us." Suphia commented.
"Ha? Are you stupid? NO ONE has seen it, beside it's probably nothing special once we uncovered what it is." Phobio replied.
"We can discuss that later. Right now we need to find some decent monsters to kill and take back with us." Albis commented. Each one had taken out a respectable monster. At that moment they felt a huge pressure, followed by birds in the surrounding area to take off flying.
"What was that?" Albis asked
"I don't know, should we try to find out where it's coming from?" Suphia asked.
"I'd rather not. Something with that high of a magicules aura, I'd rather nor bother it." Phobio. replied.
"We should hurry and leave, I don't want to stick around and find out what that was." Albis commented and the other two nodded.
There was movement in one of the bushes followed by heavy footsteps. The three turned to see what was heading in their direction. A large but not fully grow Anjanath towered over them. This particular beast was known for being hostile and aggressive. In addition, this Anjanath had clawed wounds and burns marks on its body. It saw the three beastmen and their freshly killed monsters. The Anjanath let out a massive roar, the beastmen decided it was better to leave their prize and live to fight another day. It was a shame that they would leave there empty handed, but due to the circumstances it could not be helped. After the Anjanath chased them off, it began to eat the leftover monsters the beastmen left behind.
*Heat Vision/magiculesal Eyes*- The Anjanath is eating and does not suspect a thing. The Anjanath lifted its head. It was feeling like it was being watched by a superior predator.
The three returned back to their homes feeling disappointed at the loss of their kills. They realize there will be other valuable monsters to hunt so it's not the end of the world. It was night time and Suphia had just cleaned up and returned to her room, when noticed a bag sitting on her window. She looked around to see if anyone was around. She opened the bag and it contained the head of the creature they were forced to leave behind. Suphia placed the head back into the bag and took off to Albis' home. When she got there Phobio and Albis were outside waiting for Suphia to arrive.
"Oi, what the hell is this? Phobio If I find out you were sneaking around my room Ima beat the shit out ya!" Suphia yelled.
"You must be joking?" Phobio replied.
"Calm down, Suphia. We are all just as surprised as you are." Albis intervenes .
"This doesn't make any sense." Suphia pondered.
"None of us had time to gather any parts from the monsters we killed. Even trying to retrieve the head would take time and that monster was not giving any." Albis commented.
"What do you think happened to the Anjanath that chased us out? That was something even us beasts need a whole party to defeat." Suphia commented.
"In other words, someone found and brought them to us. How thoughtful of them." Phobio noted.
"That creature is usually very hostile and relentless. I'd doubt it would let anything near its territory." Albis added.
"I think we should just be thankful we got our material from the creature and move on. We did kill these after all. It would be an insult not to take what's ours." Phobio commented.
"An excellent point." Albis apuled.
The three looked at their trophy and material. Outside the village the head of the monster was sitting on a rock and then a mirage walks by and picks it up.
Five years later there were more talks about the Devil of Jura Forest. No one has seen it because the only thing it leaves is a bloody mess of whatever poor creatures it killed. It hunted all sorts of dangerous creatures in the forest. Its signature trademark was hanging the creature upside down and in some cases the heads and spine were were some cases it even hunted the other races but that was only because they tried to hunt it and make a name for themselves. Most of the time it is just a random arrogant group looking for trouble. The other races figured it was better to stay out of the area. The humans tried putting a bounty on it but no one has ever seen it, so it never happened. There were many stories surrounding the Devil of Jura. ogre,orcs, monstermen, goblins,beastmen and other races learn to stay out of the very hot areas that had the strung up creatures. This area was known to have extremely dangerous creatures. After Veldora, the Devil of Jura was the next thing in the forest local inhabitants did not want to cross paths with.
One day Veldora's presence had disappeared which caused a huge shift in power within the forest. Many other creatures and demons began to fight and try to take over. Recently there have been rumors of the orcs making movements lately and were rapidly growing in numbers. In addition there was talk of a certain slime named Rimmaru in the forest.
*Present day* The day before the attack on the Ogres village.
The orc army has begun the invasion. They are great in numbers and always hungry. They eat their victims and fallen comrades in order to gain strength. The orc army of 10,000 came from the far east side of the forest. As they continue their quest, they pass through some of the hotter areas of the forest. These areas were known to be dangerous and also had plenty of resources (food). Due to the orcs killing a lot of the habitats, they started to flee to other areas far away from the hot area on the east side. A mirage moves through the forest using the trees searching for some game. Unfortunately there wasn't much of anything around. In addition the area was dead silent which was very unusual. After a long search something finally came into view. The mirage leaped through the trees closer to the unsuspecting creature. The next moment a number of orcs attacked and devoured the creature, not even its bones were left. Afterwards they retreat back to their army. The mirage followed them back to their camp. It watched from the trees out of view from everything. The campsite was where the main forces were and at the center was an orcs lord.
*Predator noise with a low growl*
Until recently the orcs activities have begun to upset the balance of power in the forest. The orcs attack and eat anything they could find in the forest dead or alive. A lot of creatures in the hot areas began to move into other areas because of the orcs. The orcs' activities even disturb the Devi's areas. Treyni could not allow it. If left alone all races would be endangered. Treyni is older and taller now, with long green hair and light greenish type dress. She was now the manager of the has attempted a few times to try to find it but even she couldn't locate it. The only clue she did have was that it was around the hotter areas in the forest. The problem with trying to pinpoint it, as there were many areas to try and search. One thing she was certain of is that it was something not originally from the forest.
If the forest was to survive this upcoming disaster, she would need the strongest beings in the forest to battle the orcs. Treyni was thinking back to when she first came into the forest and when she and her sisters were attacked by the brown sabertooh wolves. She wonders if it's the same individual that is roaming the hot areas. She held onto the two wolf's teeth's necklace that was left behind that day. Treyni is still uncertain about the meaning behind it. She decided to search for it in the hot areas in the forest. Treyni heads out in search of the Devil of Jura. Treyni was thinking back on the creatures that were defeated here. The thing they all had in common was that they were strong and powerful. She needed something that would get it's attention. If the Devil was attractive to strong and powerful creatures, then unleashing some of her power should get it's first two areas she searched yielded no results. The next area Treyni was walking through the hottest area of the forest. The surrounding area has tall trees that cover the sky and allow different sizes of sunlight through the upper area. There was a medium size body of water that was ankle deep flowing river several feet in front of her. She could feel the heat. Treyni once again unleashed some of her power, a burst of wind went in all directions. Afterwards she used her power to search for a response of any kind. Treyni felt a small presence far out from where she was but it was very hard to tell because something was covering it.

Treyni was walking around an open area.
"Is there anybody out there? Hello?" As she shouted out.
*Switch back to normal view.*
*Dem Bones-Predator 2 OST*
She waited patiently with her arms folded in front of her. She had a sad look on her face and slowly started to walk off.
"No luck here either. I'll try once again later. Guess I'll contact the Ogre and.."
The small presence was moving towards her and was getting larger. Then she heard lots of birds flying off and making noise in the distance. In the same direction she saw leaves shaking. A mirage figure that blended into the forest, leaping through the trees, making its way to Treyni. Another two followed behind the first one. There was a big splash in the river. The next moment, like a ghost, heavy footsteps were walking towards her. Treyni stood her ground. As the footsteps were slowly making its way to her, for a few split seconds revealed the true figure in the reflection of water beneath their feet before it disappeared again. A brief pressure of magicules could be felt. Three Predators deactivate their cloak and phased into existence. *Decloaking SFX* Three tall, muscular ripped with dreadlocks humanoid creatures phased into existence and towered over Treyni. One was lightly armored and had strange writing on its mask. The second one had a demonic looking mask and had a little more armor on him. The third one seemed to have had more armor than the other two. Treyni noticed that they were wearing skulls of creatures from the forest on them. She also noticed the skull of a brown sabertooth wolf with scars on the hip of the lightly armored one. As her eyes widened, she had flashbacks of the day she and her sisters were attacked by the large brown wolves.
"The Devil of Jura. So there are three of you here?" Treyni was surprised.
*Predator crackling noise*
"So that is why I could find him/them. They are able to blend into the forest making it almost impossible to find and detect them." Treyni thought to herself.
"Thank you for coming to meet me. There is an important matter I need to talk about with you." Treyni said with a low bow.
The lightly armored Predator pressed a few button on his wrist computer *Wrist Computer SFX* and an image of the orc lord appeared on the projection.
"Is that an orc lord? This is much worse than I thought." Treyni commented while looking up at the Predator.
*Predator crackling noise*
*Flashback* Unknown location* 25 years before Rimuru arrives in Jura Forrest
A ball of light appears in the unknown location. It was watching three screens with three creatures across three different times. In the first screen a humanoid creature with a human female was battling a large black insect looking creature (Alien Queen). The pair defeated the black creature however the humanoid creature was impaled and died from the severe wound it received. The next scene displayed another of the humanoid creatures battling a hybrid insectoid that looks similar to it (Predalien). The hybrid was stronger than the humanoid but it still put up a fight to the bitter end. The humanoid was able to land a killing blow but it was impaled by the hybrid's tail. The last screen had a once disgraced and exiled humanoid who had lived a long life and was fatally wounded from battle with an extremely dangerous creature on one of its hunts. The creature had lived a long life, it still sought more hunts and battles.
"Notice, begin summoning. Successfully summon three souls. Notice: three souls lack the required magicules. Beginning reconstruction. Reconstruction complete. Reconstruction of ideology and concepts fitting for souls now have are now mid calamity level. Bestowing unique skills. Three souls now meet requirements to enter the new world. The necessary equipment and information will be provided for them upon arrival. They also have their knowledge and experience to aid them.The beings known as Yautja aka Predator will serve the futuredemon lord of Jura Forest. Until then, they will become accustomed to the new world and hone their skills to serve the demon lord. When the one known as manager of forest seeks you out that will be your signal that the new demon lord is coming. Serve the demon lord and become the ultimate warrior and hunter. Should they refuse this offer they shall be sent back to the void where they will cease to exist. Do you accept these terms?" Voice of the world explained.
The three souls summoned were in a ball of light similar to the Voice of the World slowly moved up and down indicating they understood.
"Good. Beginning materialization." Voice of the World replied.
The first soul began to materialize. Scar made his appearance and began to examine himself. He recently became Blooded in his rite of passage, however the Queen Serpent got loose. Scar and Lex were able to defeat it, but Scar died after being fatally wounded in the battle. The next soul began to materialize Wolf. Wolf had responded to a distressed call on Earth. Upon arriving he finds out that there is an abomination serpent (Predalien) as well as an outbreak. He contained the outbreak and defeated the Predalien but was fatally wounded and had a mini nuke drop on him and the Predalien wiping out the whole town. Wolf also examined himself and had a younger appearance than when he fought the Predalien.(Scar's built) Wolf's face no longer had the acid burn and he had his other tusk. The third soul also began to materialize Scarface. The missing eye he lost a long time ago was now restored. The three Predators notice that they had some of their gear on them.
"Notice, not all your gear is with you. According to your tradition, you must acquire them. The location with the remaining gear will be provided once you reach the new world. In addition to acquiring the rest of your gear, a camp will be provided once you reach the condition. This will also serve to assist you in getting accustomed to the new world." Voice of the world commented
"Rite of passage. This world." Wolf commented.
"Correct. The key to your survival will be teamwork. Warning. Do not underestimate the creatures of this result will lead to your downfall." Voice of the World replied
"Worthy prey. Kill some time." Scarface commented.
"Many." Voice of the World replied.
"Hnmh." Scar snorted.
"Who are you?" Wolf asks Scar.
"A Young Blooded. Honorable death?" Scar replied.
"Elite. Honorable death." Wolf replied.
"You?" Scar asking Scarface.
"Elite. Honorable death."Scarface answered.
"You from the future?" Wolf asked Scarface.
"Yes. Disobey rules. Exiled. Redeemed. Obey the rules." Scarface replied.
"Obey the rules." Wolf replied.
"Obey the rules." Scar also replied.
A few things they all agree upon is that they continue their honorable ways as they have before. They will need to establish new rules and a leader. Scar was inexperienced so he declined. Scarface was not up for it because of his past mistake and wants to prove himself. So they chose Wolf to lead them. Wolf had a little experience so he partially accepted with one condition. Wolf's condition was simply to complete a task that was worthy of a leader.
"I will begin transferring you to the new world where you will be reincarnated. Young ones ensure you are ready before you leave. Step through that portal when you are ready. Serve your future lord well." Voice of the World commented.
The Predators were equipped with double wrist-blades, shurikens, combi spear, net gun, net com, field kit, camouflage and their bio mask. Each one had a mask tailored to them. The other gear they will be retrieving is their plasma caster, which is currently hidden away in the new world along with other gear. A rectangular light opened behind the three Predators. The Predators pressed a couple of buttons on their wrist computer *Wrist Computer SFX* and began to walk towards the light. As they were walking to the light, their camouflage activated and they disappeared like ghosts.*Camouflage Activate SFX*
"Happy hunting. Hopefully there won't be any problems like the last one." Voice of the world commented.
A ball of light appeared out of the night sky. It flew down and headed towards the Jura Forest. As it flew over the forest, three spheres fell from it and landed inside a lake.*Splash SFX* There was a break in the water surface, three mirages came out of the water. As they moved towards land, the mirage had blue lighting moving around them. The camouflage slowly deactivated and the three Predators stopped to observe their surroundings. It was night time and the moon was big and bright tonight. The Predator's wrist computer began to activate. Inside their hud, they were given headings leading to somewhere. Wolf pressed a few buttons on his wrist computer and a pyramid appeared on the projection.
The three took off running and jumped into the trees. They covered much ground and eventually they made it to the base of a mountain. The terrain would be very difficult for a human to traverse, but they were not human. Maneuvering through the terrain would be childs play to them. They made it to the entrance near the base of the mountain. The three young Predators enter the mountain. The path descended deep into the mountain. While they were descending the area began to get warmer. The three Predators reached the bottom on the path and right in front of them were hot springs and a medium size pyramid. The Predators scanned the building and to their surprise there were demonic creatures inside of the pyramid. Creatures like large black wolves, red bears and black Predators could not contain their excitement. The one thing they all were certain and that is they will claim this area for themselves. They entered the pyramid and began to make their way to the center. Once they reached the end of the hall, they entered a type of area and at the center were the demonic creature. They were just laying around chewing on bones of their recent victim. Each of the large creatures had four underlings around them except the bear had one. The Predators are anticipating that the underlings would be sent in first before they could take out the bigger ones, so they will need a plan that will insure their victory. Wolf would draw their attention, while Scar and Scarface would strike at the opportunity of their desired prey. Scar and Scarface activated their cloaks and went in opposite directions, while Wolf watched the center of the area.
Wolf makes his way down to the area and jumps in announcing his presence with a roar. The group of demonic creatures looks to see what foolish creature would come into their territory. It turns out to be something that looks like a human but they were not quite sure. They didn't take the young Predator seriously, so the large Alpha Blackfang Wolf sent in his subordinates to handle him and he just ignored Wolf for now. Wolf, noticing the larger alpha wolf, is ignoring him and did not take that very well. In the meantime, four smaller blackfang wolves were charging towards Wolf. They were not as fast as the black serpents, but they were not to be taken lightly. The black wolves ran circles around Wolf as he had his combi spear in one hand, but not extended it yet. The blackfang wolves came at Wolf all at once from different angles, with perfect timing and incredible reactions Wolf activated his combi spear and spins in a circle knocking back all four of them. The Predator was not wasting any time, leaps towards one wolf and stabs it in the head with the spear. One of the wolves recovers quickly and leaps towards the Predator. Wolf timing his attack perfectly, tilting his spear at the right angle causes the demonic wolf to be impaled. Another demonic wolf recovers and charges in and leaps towards Wolf. The Predator with amazing reflexes catches the Blackfang and slams it to the ground. The Predator tightens his fist and punches the pinned wolf in the head, killing it. Wolf looked around for the last wolf but it was nowhere to be seen. Then out of nowhere the last one appears from the shadows and jumps on the Wolf's back. The Blackfang went for the neck but Wolf grabbed the demonic creature's neck and slammed it to the ground and snapped its neck. Wolf walks over and grabs his spear, the Alpha Blackfang growling after seeing his subordinates taking out so easily. Wolf brushing his shoulder as if he had dirt on it. This really angered the Alpha Blackfang .
The black tiger, and red bear sent in their subordinates and they charged in at Wolf. The subordinate tigers and bears were closing in on Wolf. The other two Predators made their move and jumped in the arena. They deactivated their cloak and impaled the tiger and bear in the head, it was a sure kill. Now it's just the three black tigers. Each of the Predators engaged with the black tigers and swiftly took them out. All that was left were the head blackwolf, red bear and black tiger. Each Predator decides to take on the large creature alone. Scar would take on the black tiger, Scarface would take on the red bear and Wolf would take on the Blackfang Alpha.
Wolf Predator vs Alpha Blackfang
The Alpha Blackfang flared its teeth at Wolf and let out a loud howl. Wolf ready himself for battle. The alpha wolf charges in at incredible speed. Wolf moves out the way. Wolf turns around and the large alpha is nowhere to be found. Wolf looks around and still no sign of his opponent. The alpha appears behind Wolf and smacks him with its paw, sending back several feet. Wolf knows he can't take too many of those blows and best to avoid them as much as possible. The alpha charged again. This time Wolf charges in as well and throws a Shuriken, the alpha jumps over the shuriken making sure his body doesn't touch the strange weapon that was thrown at him. He looks over and doesn't see his opponent. The alpha wolf's shoulder was impaled by something and rib received a heavy blow by some unseen object. The alpha is breathing a little heavy now. Wolf deactivates his cloaks and watches his attack plan be successful. The alpha was trying to catch his breath, still had some fight in him. He began to run towards Wolf but it was not as fast from when the fight started. The alpha leaps up and raises its paw to strike, Wolf moves out the way and slashes it face with his wrist blade and grabs his spear. The Alpha counters with another paw strike and sends Wolf back several Alpha wolf attack was not as strong as before but it still packs a punch. Wolf gets up and notices the Blackfang is gone again. Wolf grabs his combi spear and looks around. A pair of eyes appeared from Wolf's shadow. The Alpha wolf jumps off out of the shadow towards the unsuspecting Predator, however the Predator starts releasing a little electrical energy, quickly turns around and throws his spear as hard as he could. The spear went through the Alpha wolf's lung and landed into the wall behind it while still discharging electrical energy. The Alpha is down and breathing heavily. Wolf began to walk towards the downed Blackfang and drew its wrist blade. The down Blackfang realizes it was bested not with strength but intelligence and that his opponent was a few steps ahead of him somehow. Wolf looks at his fallen prey and the prey looks at him. The Blackfang just gave a satisfying grin and Wolf delivered the killing blow. He pulled off a small metal object off the dead wolf body. It was some sort of tracking device that allowed him to keep track of his target. Wolf looked at him and they were releasing small amounts of electrical energy. This concept is something none of the Predators were aware of. Scar discovered fire magicules and Scarface had dark magicules.
Everything that was in the area is now dead. The three Predators meet in the center with their trophies in hand. Headhunter, their unique skill activated after gaining their trophy they also acquired more power and new skills from their trophy. Wolf gained the Tactician skill, which will allow him to overcome impossible odds in battle. Scar gained an Engineer skill, which will allow him to make weapons, armor, upgrades and other tools. Scarface gained Beast tamer, which allow him to tame and train any monster. A door opens up and leads to another path. The three Predators enter the door and follow it to the end. They came into a larger room. In the middle of the room was a chest waiting to be open. Wolf opens the chest and there lies the prize plasma caster. An image of the pyramid was projected from the chest and with the location to the remaining demonic creatures. A message was written in their language: "Clear the pyramid and claim your next prize." is what the message said. Wolf, Scarface and Scar understood their next task. While still looking at the image something was moving around the Predators' feet. They look down and see four young wolf's and two pick the young animals up and examine them. They all gave a head nod. They attach the plasma caster and then carry out their next task. After a few hours, the three Predators have completely cleared out the pyramid of demonic creatures. It is now officially their base.
*Present Day* Ogres village attack by Orcs (Night time)
1000 orcs made their attack on the 300 ogres. Their homes were set on fire and dead bodies were everywhere. The ogres did their best to fight back but they were greatly outnumbered. So to ensure their survival the clan head sent his son,daughter,blacksmith,aide,swordsman,ninja and blacksmith aide,(Benimaru,Shuna,Shion,Hakurou,Souei and Kurobee) out ensure the clans survival.(at this point in time they are not named) It was a sad parting for them, they knew it was the last time they would see each other and there home.
"Take care of your sister and the others." Clan head comments
"I will father." Benimaru replied.
"They are coming. I will hold them off. Go now, live to fight another day and avenge us. "
The clan head passed his last words to everyone before they separated. He looked up to the sky and saw the moon was very big and bright tonight.
"Hmm. A Hunter's Moon tonight?" Gave a small chuckle.
In the forest
A group of orcs were hunting the remaining remaining six Ogre got separated into two groups. The orcs also separated and continued to hunt them down in the forrest.
-Birds eye view radar activated showing the Ogre green and Orcs red. A button is pressed and small red dots light up around the two groups.
One side (Shion and Kurobee)
They continued to run through the forest and their pursuers were closing in on them.
"To think that orcs would dare attack us and nearly wipe us out is unforgivable. We will be the laughing stock of the forest if we make it out of this." Shion complained
"I agree with you on that. However, we still have to make it out of here first." Kurobee replied.
They continue running until they bump into another group of orcs that was ahead of the other group.
"Shit there was another group ahead and they had us surrounded. We can't escape." Kurobee commented.
"Then there is only one thing left to do." Shion draws her morning star.
"For once I agree with you on this one." Kurobee draws his hammer.
"Hahaha, so you want to play a game?" One orcs soldier commented.
"Let's play with them for a bit." Another replied.
One orc comes running in at Shion, she moves to the side and swung her morning star at the orcs's knee, bringing it down to one knee. Then with another swing, she hits him in the face knocking him to the ground. Shion gave one more swing to the face to make sure it was dead. Another orcs moves in to attack and swings his ax. Shion steps backwards to dodge the attack, then she crushes the orcs hands and swings towards his face, killing him.
"Come on, who's next?"
Kurobee manage to take out a few as well, however they were still greatly outnumbered. They both manage to take out a couple of orcs. The orcs simply laughed and toyed with the two ogres. They knew their end was near and it was only a matter of time before they would fall. They two started to lose steam after taking out a few more orcs. They now had their backs to each other and were breathing heavily.
"Well things are not looking too good now." Kurobee commented.
"Don't tell me you're giving up already?" Shion replied and Kurobee simply chuckled. The two stood back up on their feet ready to go another round. One of the orcs threw a chain from there, their blind spots trapping both of them. The two ogres could not break free and one of the ogres came in and knocked them off their feet forcing them to drop their weapons. The orcs began closing in on them and their mouths were drooling saliva. Shion looking disgusted at the thought of being eaten alive. She looked up at the sky and admired the large moon for the last time. While looking at the moon she saw a mirage leap across the trees from one side to another.

"Did you see that?" Shion asked Kurobee.
"See what? All I see are these orcs about to kill and eat us." Kurobee replied.
"No, I seriously saw something just now."
"It's not unheard of for people to go crazy before they are about to get killed."
*sighs*
"It's been fun, but playtime is over." The Ogre soldier commented and raised his axe.
"Do you want to play a game?" Voice Mimic
*Predator crackling noise*
*Flying Shuriken SFX* The orcs arm that was holding the ax fell off in front of him. The Shuriken lands into a tree nearby. He just looked confused as to what just happened. The same time there was a small hole shot through his upper stomach. He looked at it wondering when he got that hole there. Then three spears like objects came from inside of his body lifting body off the ground enough to where his feet could not touch the ground. The other orce soldiers looked and slowly backed away. As four orcs soldiers were backing up, they heard a snapping sound and an invisible rope pulled them up by the ankle up into the trees. A stream of blood poured down to the ground. Then another stream poured and two more after that. Two other orcs tried to make a run for it but as they passed between two trees, red lines passed through them and they fell to pieces on the ground. The remaining orcs attempted to fight back, but they were only swinging into the air. As one orc was stepping back, he stepped on a device that triggered an explosion setting him and fire sending flying in the other direction. The other orcs looked shocked and confused because he could not see what it was that was attacking them. Shion was also looking around to see who the attacker was. As she was looking, she saw a red line pointed down at the unsuspecting orc from a good distance. *Plasma Cannon SFX* There was now a large hole in the orc soldier's upper body.
"Did you see that?" Shion asked Kurobee again.
"I'm not sure what I'm seeing," he replied.
There was only the orc with a chain and sickle left. The orc's entire body was shaking in fear as he was looking in all directions to see where the attack would come from.
"Where are you? Show yourself!" the orc yelled out. There was only silence. Shion and Kurobee were looking around to see where the attacker was going to come from.
"Playtime is over." *Voice Mimic*
*Predator crackling noise*
"Huh?"
Two sharp camouflage blades pierce through his head and then were retracted back. The last orc fell to his knees and then hit the ground. The chain that was wrapped around Shion and Kurobee loosened up enough for them to break free. Once they were free they slowly got up and checked the surrounding area but it was just dead silent. Shion notices a strange metallic object stuck in the tree.
Other side (Benimaru, Shuna, Hakurou and Souei)
"Brother we got separated from the others."
"Don't worry, we will go back for them once we lose the orcs. Those two won't die so easily." He replied
Shortly after said that another group of orcs appeared in front of them.
"Tsk, looks like we will have to force our way through."
"There is no other way around it. Let's be quick about this. They made quick work of the orcs, however the other group caught up and surrounded them.
"Hahaha, nowhere to run now!" one orc shouts.
"We have you surrounded now!" another orc yelled.
The orcs were closing in one them. The ogres were ready to fight to the death. As one of the orc soldiers in the back was walking to the ogres, his jaw was caught on an invisible wire that lifted him up without him making a sound. A stream of blood came pouring down in that spot. None of the other orcs saw him. The next moment they heard someone laughing. They all looked around to see who it was. They turned around and saw one of their orc soldiers standing (being held up by a cloak wire). They went over to him to check on him, but he was not responding. A beeping sound could be heard and they looked to see where it was coming from. They then notice a hole in the gut. The timer finishes counting down and then it explodes. Seven orcs were dead and three more screaming would soon follow because their entire body was on fire. The ogres were not sure what just happened and were a little shaken.
"Young Master, we need to take this opportunity and leave before more come." Hakurou pointed out.
"Brother?" Shuna shaking him.
"Huh? Right, let's find the others and get out of here quickly."
"Hahahaha." *Voice Mimic*
Benimauru and his group turned around and saw nothing but dead bodies there. They were a bit shaken, but they pulled themselves together enough to leave the area.

The Ogre regrouped and checked to see if they all were okay. They know it was not wise to stay in the area so they wasted no time leaving the area. While they were walking they asked each other how exactly did they lose the orcs that were pursuing them.
"Did you guys see something out there?" Shion asked.
"No, all we saw was a group of orcs set on fire from one of their own." Benimaru replies.
"There was definitely something that attacked the orcs. We couldn't see it." Shion replied.
"Do you think it could be the Devil of Jura" that we have heard stories about?" Shuna asked.
"That's just a child's story to scare little kids." Kurobee replied.
"Brother sama, what do you think it was?" Shuna asked.
"It could have been a elf, a highly skilled one." (Benimaure) replied.
"I know the elves are skilled warriors, however after tonight I'm not so sure if that was them." Souei commented.
"Could it have been the dwarfs?" Kurobee asked.
"There is no way that could have been the dwarfs, it was too fast. They may have impressive weapons, but after what I saw, I don't think it was them." Shion replied
"What do you mean?" Benimaru asked.
"I saw something moving and then there was a strange red light and a loud noise that took out one of the orcs. There was also a strange noise as well." Shion commented.
"Did you see a big fire by chance?" Shuna asked.
"There was only one on our side, it set the orcs on fire after stepping on something." Shion replied
"That's strange, one of the orcs seemed to cause a big fire, Shuna replied.
"Two different methods, two groups and two totally different areas. Hmmm. Young Master, we must move quickly and cautiously." (Hakuro) commented.
The ogres left the area swiftly, meanwhile back in the battle area with the orcs, Scarface returned to retrieve his gear. When he looked for his Shuriken, it was not where it should be. Scarface let's out an angry growl and punches the tree knocking it over. Wolf appears and assesses the situation. Scarface begins to scan the area *Visions Cycle SFX* and finds a trail of footprints leaving the area. Scarface looks at Wolf who has also located the trail as well. Wolf points his finger in the direction of the footprints. Scarface activates his cloak and disappears into the forest.
Rimuru's village present day
Rimuru just recently built a grave for his friend Shizu and saw her companions off. He went to a cave to test out some of his abilities. After going through a lot of them realize that some of them are pretty overpowering and decide to avoid using them in a fight. While still going over his abilities he received an urgent message from Ranga. Rimaru puts on Shizu's mask and immediately makes his way over to his location. When he arrives there, most of his security team is knocked out and Gobta is cut up but nothing too severe. The ogres that escape the orcs attack have run into Rimaru security team. The head of the ogres Benimaru accuses Rimaru for the attack on the village when he saw the mask. Rimaru heals his subordinates and attempts to reason with them at first so he had to display some of his power and skill. Even after the display of power this only lead Benimaru to think this was what Rimaru was doing. Rimaru made one last attempt in displaying his power and unleashed a mass pillar of black fire. After carefully looking closer at the mask Shuna realizes that this is not the same demonic creature that attacked their village. Shuna runs between her brother and Rimaru.
*Heat Vision/magiculesal Eyes* Scanning…
"Wait Brother sama, this is not the same demon." Shuna pleads to her brother.
"Nonsense, can't you see he is wearing the same mask." Benimaru replied.
"The wolf and goblins believe and follow this person. This person feels different from the demon that leads the orcs tribe. This one hid his aura while the other one didn't."
"Think about this carefully now?" Ranga points out.
Scan Complete: One lightly armored.
No armor detected on others.

Benimaru feeling convinced decides to hear Rimuru out. Meanwhile there is movement high up in the trees out of everyone's view.
"What are you?" Benimaru asked.
"I'm just a normal slime." Rimaru replies with a smile.
"Warning! Multiple lifeforms approaching your current position!" Great Sage alerting Rimuru.
"Ha? Great Sage, how many?"
"20."
"Are you serious!" Rimuru was shocked .
Just as Rimuru was about to alert everyone, Shuna was mysteriously floating backwards off the ground. *Decloaking SFX* Scarface appears and is holding Shuna up with one arm effortlessly. Shuna was more surprised than scared.
"Oi, oi are you serious? This guy is here?" Rimaru was a bit shocked and excited.
Rimuru's excitement is going to have to wait because it was not the best time and he needed to take care of the problem at hand.
"Why is there a Predator here in the forest?" Rimuru wandered.
"Sister! Let go of her, you demon!" Benimaru yelling at Scarface.
Everyone in the area drew their weapons. Scarface activates his plasma caster and fires a low charge shot at a tree knocking it over and setting it on fire a little bit. Everyone looked back at Scarface, who motioned with his finger to put their weapons down. Everyone followed, they did not want to make the situation worse than what it was. Scarface pulls out a circular object (Shuriken) and taps it. Everyone was looking a bit confused.
"Is he saying we have something of his?" Rimuru asked.
"That's ridiculous, how and why would we have something that belongs to him." Benimaru asked.
The next moment three red dots appeared on Shion's large chest. Scarface motion with his finger her to "Come here"
"You can't be serious?" Rimuru was surprised.
"No, I don't have anything that belongs to him. Haha" Shion eyes looking away.
*Three dots move to her head*
"Okay! Okay! Don't shoot!" Shion paninicking.
"Just return it to him so he can leave already!" Benimaru yelling.
Shion slowly walks over to where Scarface and Shuna are.
"It will be ok princess."
Shuna gave a head nod. Shion takes out the same circular device and hands it to Scarface. As soon as Shion place it in his hand, Scarface turns his head to look around and sees the incoming orcs closing in on their position from a distance. Scarface activates his Shuriken and looks at Shion.
"What is it?" Shion asked Scarface.
"Want to play a game?" *Voice Mimic*
Shion eyes widened as she realized this guy was the one that took out the orcs that night. He threw the Shuriken and it decapitated four orcs' heads before they knew what was happening. Then he activates his plasma caster and fires off two shots taking out two more orcs. The Shuriken returns to Scarface, he shakes it twice and puts it away. An orc leaps out of a bush nearby, Scarface not even looking, fires his wrist netgun and steps to the side. The orc struggled to break free, the net only got smaller and tighter the more he moved. Scarface pulls out his combi spear and extends it. The orc looks up and sees the Predator holding the metal spear and it then impales him. More orcs were running in from one direction.
All eyes were on the Predator's next move. He was still holding Shuna and Shion was still standing in front of the Predator. Scarface puts Shuna down and retrieves his combi spear and collapses it. Shion grabs Shuna and rejoins the other. Scarface engaged the orcs. He starts off by shooting his plasma caster at one orc that caused a small explosion and disperse the orcs and then leaps in. He raised one arm and extended his combi spear. He twirls it around and strikes his opponents. Every strike he delivered was a killing blow. He shot his plasma caster and kept them dispersed and picked them off.
"Should we assist him?" Shion asked.
"I don't think he will need it. He seems to be able to take care of himself." Souie pointed out.
Meanwhile Scarface was battling the orcs. One was coming at him, he was readying his plasma caster for another shot, when it was hit by a morning star in the face. Shion joins the battle and points at Scarface.
"I won't allow you to look down on the ogre tribe". she shouts at Scarface. Scarface just looks at her and tilts his head a little.
"Hahaha." *Voice Mimic*
The last orc appears and it's a lightly armored one. He was carrying something with him. He was very angry that his subordinates were taken out. Scarface scanned the device he was carrying.

It is a device that allows him to track down the ogres. After he scanned it, he shot and destroyed the device.
"Tsk, I don't know who you are, but if you know what's good for you, hand over the ogres." The Higher Orc commented.
"Want to play a game?" *Voice Mimic*
"Sure. I'll be taking your head after I kill you" Higher Orc draws out his sword.
"Hahaha." *Voice Mimic*
Scarface vs Higher Orc
The light armored orc rans towards Scarface while swinging his sword. Scarface steps back outside the sword swings range. The orc goes for another swing, this time Scarface grabs the orc's wrist, crushing it enough that he drops his sword. Scarface then open palm strike the orc in the chest, knocking him off his feet landing on his back. The orc crawl on all four to get away, Scarface slowly walking behind. The orc stumbles across a tree branch and decides to use it. He grabs it and swings it at Scarface but he blocks the swing, breaking the branch. Scarface then Spartan kicks the orc in the chest, sending him flying back several feet. The orc gets up and charges towards the Predator and attempts to tackle him, but he is stopped and thrown like a rag doll in another direction. In a last ditch effort the orc engaged in a fist fight with Scarface. Scarface welcomed it and engaged. They exchange blows but Scarface punches were effective against the lightly armored orc. After one of the orc strikes missed, Scarface used his wrist blades to cut open the back armor and delivered a strike to the back. The orc tore off the rest of the armor, as it was in his way.
"Is that all you got!" orc shout.
Scarface stood silently and tilted his head a little. The orc charges in at Scarface, he catches him by neck and lifts him up. Scarface activates his wrist blade and stabs the orc in the gut and drops him. The orc rolled over to his stomach attempting to crawl away. Scarface walks up behind the crawling orc.
"I'll be taking your head after I kill you." *Voice Mimic*
"What?" Higher Orc looked spooked after hearing his voice.
Scarface grabs his lower spine. After two tugs he pulls the bloody spinal cord and skull out, holds it up and lets out a roar of triumph. Everyone is in a bit of shock after what they just seen. Scarface turns around still holding his bloody trophy in one hand and Shion is standing several feet from him, not sure what to make of what she saw.
"The Devil of Jura!" Shion was speaking in her Ogre language with her eyes widening open and was shaking a little bit.

Chapter 2 Preview
Meeting Room
Treyni had informed Rimuru that the orc lord has indeed been born and is leading the orc. Rimuru thought the orcs wouldn't find him appetizing since he is a slime.
"The orc lord will eventually become a demon lord. This matter is something that you can't ignore." Treyni stated.
"Alright I will suppress the orc lord. I will need more allies since we are greatly outnumbered." Rimuru points out.
"Yes, I believe the lizardmen would make a good addition to your forces."
"Well, one of their subordinates came by to offer an alliance, however his negotiation skills were not that impressive. I hope they send someone more capable next time."
"Yes he was quite full of himself, but worry not there will be an additional alley assisting you on the upcoming battle." Treyni sipping on some tea.
"Really? That is very reassuring coming from you, Treyni san. I just hope they are more promising than what the lizardmen display."
"Well, why don't you asked them yourself." Treyni smiles and continues with her tea.
"Eh? They're already here? Where?" Rimuru getting excited. Treyni was silent but pointed behind him.
Around the same time he was turning around the smoke was clearing up and three red dots appeared on his chest. Everyone in the room stood up. *Decloaking SFX* Scarface appeared from the right side of the room.
"The Devil of Jura!" Everyone speaking there navtive language. Scarface turned his attention to the left.
*Decloaking SFX* Scar appears on the left side holding his combi spear parallel to the floor.
"There's another one!" Benimaru points out. Scar turned his head to the right, looking to the center of the room.
*Decloaking SFX* Wolf appears in the middle holding his non extended combi spear and is the one aiming at Rimuru, then deactivates it.
*Predator crackling noise*
"Eh? Ehhhh! There are three of them!" Rimuru and everyone in the room was in complete shock. Treyni just gave a small playful laugh.
"I was just as surprised as you are. They will be assisting in the upcoming battle." As she walked to the middle where Wolf was standing.
"Treyni san, it's dangerous over there!"
"It's quite alright, I can assure you." she smiled. Rimuru slowly walks towards Wolf.
"Please wait Rimuru sama. Let's see if they are worthy to be your allies." Shion said being prideful.
"Oh my." Treyni covered her mouth.
"Shion! I know you just got your name and evolved into an Oni, but aren't you being a bit overconfident here? One of them wiped out most of the orcs single handedly." Rimaru thought to himself with a disbelief expression.
"You there, the one with the red scar on your mask! I will test you personally!" Shion points at Scarface with a smile.
Scarface turns his head in Shion's direction. Shion was just smiling. Scarface slowly walks towards Shion. Rimuru is hoping Shion didn't piss him off. Scarface was two feet from Shion and was towering over her and looked at her. *Predator crackling sound*.Shion was still smiling. Rimuru and everyone was feeling a little tense.
*Hahahaha. I promise you a night to remember!" Voice Mimic.*
Scarface begins to walk to the exit of the room and turns around to face Shion. He motioned with his head to "follow him" outside where they will have more room. Shion walks towards Scarface passing by Wolf and Treyni and they head outside. Wolf, Scar, Treyni and everyone else followed them outside.
"Are you sure this is ok?" Rimuru asked Wolf.
Wolf just lightly chuckled and gave a head nod. Everyone gathered around the open area and we're whispering. The Predators were on one side and everyone else was on another side. Rimuru walks to the middle where Scarface and Shion were standing.
"Alright this is just a little spar. No killing or causing serious injuries from either or you. Understand?" Looking at both of them.
They both gave a nod. Scarface removes his plasma caster and combi spear.
"You may begin!" Rimuru signals them to begin.
