Standing before the graduating students, Minato Namikaze, dressed in his standard jonin outfit, underneath his white Hokage robes, that had red flames at the bottoms.
The recent class of graduates had the highest number of clan heirs since its creation. The Hokage glanced down each of the rows and the feeling of pride surged his body when he saw his three children.
Not only were his children naturally talented, but they each helped protect the village. Twelve years prior to their birth, the Kyuubi No Kitsune attacked the village. The third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, he sacrificed his life by splitting the Kyuubi's chakra into three separate pieces. Menma, Mito, and Naruko each received three tails worth of chakra from the nine tailed fox.
As Minato though about it, guilt began to creep up on him when he thought about his eldest son. Naruto Namikaze. Before the triplets were born, himself, his wife Kushina, his former sensei, and Naruto's godfather, Jiraiya, Tsunade, Orochimaru, Kakashi, and even the third Hokage, they all trained him since the age of four.
Naruto entered the academy and within a few months, he graduated at the age of six. The legendary sannin, Orochimaru. He took the chance to train Naruto, alongside Anko Mitarashi, and another prodigy, Shisui Uchiha.
After the first year of being a genin, Naruto's performance with his team in the chunin exams, along with being the only Konoha ninja to make it to the final exam in Kusagakure, it got him a fast jonin rank. However, due to his triplets being Jinchuriki, Naruto soon found himself being completely isolated by his family.
The only one that showed him any signs of attention, was Orochimaru. However, because of Naruto's jonin rank, he was often sent on missions outside of his team. Minato began feeling guilty due to Naruto's isolation. A year later, both Shisui and Anko were promoted to chunin.
Orochimaru took Anko on as a student and they left the village. Had it not been for Shisui, Naruto would have absolutely nobody. Minato couldn't understand why he wouldn't take time, even during his free time to spend it with Naruto. Yet, he dedicated every moment of his day with the triplets.
Wanting to further help his son cope with being isolated and alone, Minato thought it would be a good idea to place Naruto inside the Anbu Black Ops, at the age of eight, being the youngest Anbu of all time. Fortunately, Naruto and Kakashi became close, were like best friends.
During the next four years, many things changed. Itachi Uchiha became an Anbu at the age of twelve, forcing Minato to raise the minimum graduation age being twelve. Shisui had also killed himself, causing Naruto to feel alone, once more.
Orochimaru was declared a missing ninja after all his experiments were found out. Anko was found shortly after, during a patrol Naruto was on. Due to her being branded by a curse seal, Anko was shunned away. The only ones that cared for her were Naruto, Minato, Kushina, Kurenai Yuhi, Hana Inuzuka, Asuma Sarutobi, Yugao Uzuki, and Kakashi.
The year after, Itachi snapped and killed his entire clan, leaving only his younger brother, Sasuke. While Naruto new the truth, he agreed to keep an eye on Sasuke from the shadows. To say Naruto's life brought him closer into the darkness, it would be an understatement. It was revealed by both Ibiki and Inoichi that pulling Naruto from the Anbu and forcing him into the core would hurt him more than not.
Instead, Minato pulled Kakashi and turned him into a jonin sensei, while Naruto received a new member on his squad, Yugao Uzuki. Many of the chunin became new jonin sensei for this years team of rookies. Anko declined the offer and when she was promoted to special jonin, she started working with Ibiki at the T department.
She kept her mask up of being a sadistic whore, while on the inside, she just wanted to be loved. Even though she was back, her and Naruto weren't anywhere close to how they used to be. However, Naruto did often check on her and would defend her if any crossed the line.
The Hokage sighed. His twenty year old son was standing behind him as the Hokage's personal guard, along with a few other Anbu, including the T department. The ten jonin sensei that were selected to teach also stood before the students.
"You all have officially taken the first step into becoming a shinobi of this village. The easy part is over. As an official shinobi, there will be new benefits you get, along with no rules you will have to follow. Please listen as I call out the teams." Minato said.
Inside the group, smirking with an arrogant expression. Menma had become rookie of the year, and Konoha's most popular. His two sisters were also popular and Mito was the top female. However, due to the circumstances, the three would be grouped together. This meant Sasuke would be the technical rookie of the year, paired with the second top female, with the dead last.
"Team seven will be lead by Kushina Uzumaki Namikaze. The members of this team will be Menma Namikaze, Mito Namikaze, and Naruko Namikaze. This team will be a frontal assault squad." Minato called out.
"Excuse me, Lord Fourth. If I may, I'd like to take my little genin and get introductions out the way." Kushina said with a foxy smile.
"Of course, go ahead." Minato said with a nod.
"Team seven, meet me at training field seven. You hav twenty minutes." Kushina said as she vanished in a shunshin.
"Okay, Team eight will be lead by Kurenai Yuhi. The members of team eight will consist of Shino Aburame, Hinata Hyuga, and Sai." Minato said.
"Team nine is still in rotation. Team ten will be lead by Asuma Sarutobi. The members of this team will consist of Shikamaru Nara, Ino Yamanaka, and Choji Akimichi." Minato said.
"Finally, the last team will be lead by none other than, Kakashi Hatake. The members of this team will be Sasuke Uchiha, Kiba Inuzuka, and Sakura Haruno." Minato said.
The pink haired girl shouted and declared that love would conquer all, causing many of the elite female ninja to sigh at another fan girl.
"Genin Haruno, such outbursts will not be tolerated. You're a shinobi of the hidden leaf, act like it." Naruto said in a cold tone, with his ice cold blue eyes, piercing into her soul. Sakura nodded and stood still.
"Alright, you've all been given your teams, and you will report to your assigned training field. Fox, Cat, please report to my office." Minato said as he vanished while using the Hiraishin.
"Come on, let's go." Naruto said while using the body flicker, that he and Shisui created with their wind affinities.
"Yes, captain." Yugao said as she vanished in a shunshin, following her partner.
Kushina was waiting with her arms crossed as her children arrived. "You're late by two minutes. I want you to run one hundred laps around the training field, perform one hundred push ups, sit ups, and pull ups. Then run up the trees one hundred times, now." Kushina ordered.
"WhT? Are you being serious, mom?" Menma asked.
"You three will refer to me as Kushina sensei, Uzumaki sensei, or Namikaze sensei." Kushina said in a stern tone.
Seeing they had no choice, the three nodded as they began their punishment. The red head jonin smirked while watching her children exercise.
Naruto and Yugao stood before the Hokage as they waited for their orders. "Cat, Fox, I've called you here because we're doing something a bit different. After the true genin examination, we're going to take the rookie teams and do a field exercise.
I have reason to believe that every year, the minimum requirements get easier and easier, thanks to the civilian council. We will call if a shinobi boot camp. I want you two to take charge and get our ninja into shape. As you know, we started implementing D rank missions into the last year, so doing them to build teamwork won't be effective." Minato said.
"Lord Fourth, are you requesting that I give them an exercise routine?" Naruto asked.
"No. I want you to use the next month to teach the genin everything you. I will provide you with everything I can." Minato said.
"Alright. I need Mitarashi, Morino, Shikaku, Shizjne, and Choza." Naruto said.
"No problem. But if I may ask, why then?" Minato asked.
"Mitarashi will be the perfect example of what a female shinobi is. She will teach them the realities along with different topics that she see's fit. Morino will teach them to use their minds and not get so outsmarted or break under pressure.
Shikaku is an excellent strategist. While most of them won't be on his level, teaching them to use their brain will be ideal for there growth. Shizune can help those interested in learning medical ninjutsu. Finally, Choza will help them with the proper diet and foods to eat. I can name a few who have no idea about what a proper shinobi diet is." Naruto explained.
"I see. What will you and Caf teach them?" Minato asked.
"Cat will assist me in the physical training aspect. Normally I'd choose Guy, but he is a bit too cheerful for my taste." Naruto said.
"Alright, after this week, boot camp will begin. We'll start them with a few D ranks before pulling them away. This should help with motivation." Minato said.
"Yes, Lord Fourth." Both Anbu said, and when they were dismissed, they left.
"If anyone can help this generation, it will be you, my son." Minato thought as he resumed his paperwork.
