Chapter 19: Written Exam

Third Floor Classroom

Team 7 appears at the door where the first Chunnin Exams are holding. Kakashi is at the door with a proud look on his face.

"Well, I am so proud of you, you have decided to compete in the exam." Said Kakashi before turning to Sakura, "Especially you, Sakura."

"Me?" said Sakura taken back by what Kakashi mentioned her.

"That's right, I forgot to mention that in order to partake the chunnin exams, everyone in their teams must be willing to do it and come here simutantiously as a team should." Kakashi explains to his students. "And out of the three of you, I suspected that you- Sakura would be the most reluctant and wanted to hold back until you are mentally and physically ready. And not just because for the sake of Sasuke and Naruto."

"Well, it did come to mind at first," said Sakura with hesitant honesty as she avert her eyes away from her sensei. "But I also wanted to prove myself and not become a nuisance to the team."

"Well now, that is good to hear," said Kakashi, "as a team, all three of you must be ready for what's to come, especially when there is no turning back."

Kakashi then gives his three students his trademark eye-smile to expression how proud he is with them.

"And as your sensei," said Kakashi "I couldn't be prouder to see how mature you three are."

Kakashi steps aside so that Team 7 can enter through the door and enters the classroom where the Chunnin exam will take place.

"Good luck, and learn through experience during the exams." Kakashi said before the doors close.

The room is full of candidates form different Hidden Villages such as Suna, Ame, Kusa and others here in Konoha, only older which suggests that they were seasoned veterans who tried to pass the exams only to fail due to how difficult it sounds. Naruto, noticed that the candidates are looking back at him and his team with intimidating leers, perhaps to act all touch but he knows that is nothing but baloney as he knows that they are scared and nervous about taking the exams, even though some had many attempts in the past.

But the leering from the others made it uneasy for Sakura and Sasuke, for they are starting to realise that they'll be facing them eventually during the exams if it involves combat. And them against more experienced Genin...is something to be afraid of, especially with those from foriegn villages which they have no idea what tricks they have up their sleeves.

Not only that, but the number of genin, including himself and his teammates, Naruto would estimate that number would be about 600, meaning that there are about 200 genin teams cramped up in this classroom which can normally fit at least half at best.

"Sasuke-kun!"

Suddenly, Sasuke was tackled from behind, not an enemy but someone he considered worse: a fangirl.

Ino Yamanaka, another Sasuke fan girl hugs the Uchiha Emo from behind. Sasuke didn't flinch, only groaned in silent and let's her hug him so that he can get it over with.

"Oh I'm so glad to see you here," said Ino, "did you miss me?"

"Hn," Sasuke grunted as he waits for Ino to let go of him.

"Hey, let go of him, Ino-pig!" Sakura shouts angrily when she saw Ino glomping on Sasuke from behind. And the tone of her voice is so grinding that everyone is starting to cover their ears.

Damn it, Sakura, Naruto thought with annoyance as he held his hands over his ears.

"Oh, so you're here too, Forehead," said Ino with a teasing smirk and taunt Sakura by sticking out her tongue and performing akanbe at her. "Then again, you need to be here if you want Sasuke-kun to be strong. Good girl."

Sakura growls angrily at Ino as she wanted to get her back at her, but she noticed how everyone is leering directly at her for her previous outburst, she decided to keep her mouth shut so not to antagonized the other genin further.

"Seriously, you have to wander off the moment your precious Sasuke-kun is here," Shikamaru Nara, the lazy genius walks by to approach Ino and Team 7. And Choji Akamichi, the fa- I mean Big Boned genin follows with an open bag of crisps which he constantly chomps in the dry crispy contents. "You are so troublesome to deal with, much like agreeing in taking the exams."

"Do you always complain, Shikamaru," said Naruto with his arms crossed. "Then again, it's a real surprise to see you here."

"I was about to say the same thing," said Shikamaru, although in a lazy tone his shock is genuine. "Then again...why bother, knowing you being here is troublesome enough as it is."

Naruto couldn't help bue smile and chuckle at Shikamaru.

"You never change, Shikamaru," said Naruto shaking his head at the lazy boy, then he caught a familiar scent and turns to another direction. "And you also, since you still like a wet dog...Kiba."

Kiba Inuzuka, the dog boy and his pup Akamaru made themselves known wile Shino Aburame and Hinata Hyuga, the shy Hyuga beauty follows. Kiba scoffs and smirks at Naruto while Akamaru yelps at Naruto.

"But talk from you, Naruto," said Kiba "You still reek of fox, more like a horny vixen judging by the smell."

Naruto couldn't help but sweat nervously as the fact he did forget to take a bath after having his fun with Kyuubi under the covers.

"Then again, you always smell like a fox to me," said Kiba as he grins cockily at Naruto. "It's no wonder why people hate you if you constantly stick like vermin."

Naruto knows Kiba is trying to provoke him as he usually does back when they were pupils in the academy, but thanks to his training with the Ombre council at the dark tower, Naruto isn't so easily riled up by simple insults...especially insults from a mongrel like Kiba Inuzuka.

"You think you're gonna attack me with insults in order to make me fail, you're dead wrong," said Naruto as he pump his fists with determination. "I ain't the same Naruto Uzumaki you use to bully back in the academy, Kiba. In the past months, I've matured and will prove it by becoming a Chunnin."

Kiba was taken back by Naruto's unexpected maturity, but scoffs at his usual obnoxious confidence and turns away.

"Whatever," said Kiba under his breath.

Naruto sighs in delight as he finally got his back on Kiba, even more when he sees Hinata and smiles as he is happy to see her again. Hinata noticed and blushes while looking away, shyly when Naruto's smile beams at her.

"Well now, so the rumours are true,"

A teenager walks towards the rookie 9; he has silver hair tied to a pony, dressed in purple and grey ninja gear and has circular glasses over his dark eyes.

"The Rookie 9, this generation of genin are here together to partake this half of the year's chunnin exams." Said the silver haired teen. "I must admit, your sensei are gutsy to send you this early.

"Who are you man?" said Kiba scowling at the genin for stucking his nose into everyone's business.

"Oh forgive me, my name is Kabuto; I am some sort of a veteran when it comes to these exams" said the teenager known as Kabuto

"How many times did try in this Exam" said Sasuke

6 times, so this is my 7th" said Kabuto, "It's been almost four years since started my first attempt on these.

"Man, suck" said Kiba

"Or rather the Chunnin Exams are as difficult as they say," said Shikamaru with an exasperated sigh, "Seriously, this is so troublesome."

Naruto pays no mind to Kiba or Shikamaru as he just looked at this Kabuto with utmost attention.

From all the records I have received for my agents, I have not heard of any Kabuto, perhaps he is a spy, but a spy for what? Thought Naruto as he narrows his eyes at Kabuto as there is something suspicious about him.

"Yes, the Chunnin Exams does have reputation to be ruthless to every genin who participates, and despite my failed attempts I happen to gather enough info so that I can try and pass this time."

"So...you have any idea what to expect?" said Kiba

"Sadly, the Chunnin Exams aren't always placed in Konoha," said Kabuto with an apologeic look. "Over time, the exams will take place in either in Suna, Ame or Kusa, and each are different than the next. If it wasn't, I'd be chunnin on my second attempt, but as you can see I am still Genin...for now."

"So you're useless to us," said Sasuke

"Not necessarily," said Kabuto as he pulls out a deck of card. "During my time, I came prepared by learning every candidate here in these ninja data cards, so that I know who am competing against" said Kabuto

"Data card?" said Sasuke "You mean you have everyone's info?"

"Yes, I just need a name and village" said Kabuto "Anyone you want to know in particular?"

"Naruto of the leaf"

Naruto widens his eyes when Sasuke said that, why would he ask about him. Now only that, does Kabuto know about him being Overlord? If that's the case, Naruto doesn't want any leaked info revealed and gets ready to act if that's the case.

"Okay, then," said Kabuto as he place a card on the floor and starts to channel his chakra into it. Suddenly the card's blank face starts to reveal data containing the blonde along with his portrait which was used for his ninja license. "Naruto Uzumaki: from what I see, his chakra is improving and learns shadow clone jutsu at young age. Did a substantial amount of D-rank mission, a B-rank mission (I'm impressed) and is given a special award from the Hokage for assisting Chunnin Iruka Umino for defeating the traitor Mizuki Tora."

Naruto relaxed, nothing about him as the Overlord Maelstrom was leaked which was a relief, Sasuke however was disappointed as during the following months, the Uchiha was discreetly suspicious around Naruto as he's occasionally out of character, acting smarter than being his obnoxious self. Sasuke was so suspicious around Naruto that he wanted to see if there is anything new and if he's keeping things to himself, but it would seem that nothing was hidden and Naruto was just being lucky.

I can't believe I asked about the dobe's info thought Sasuke, scoffing in disbelief that he just asked for Naruto's info from Kabuto.

Sasuke then asked Kabuto again for more info on a few genin, such as Neji and Rock Lee. Learning that they are from the same team and, despite being a year older than the Rookies, this would be their first ever time on the Chunnin Exams. Naruto then asked for the data about a genin named Gaara from Suna, which Kabuto obliged and showed him.

At first it was normal, but then he mentions that Gaara did a few B-rank missions and return without much a scratch on him, this got Naruto's attention. If Kyuubi said was true, then he could be a problem for him on the long run. He needs to be prepares if they ever encounter, especially when Konoha is his main focus when his armies await for his orders to strike.

I wonder what life did you experienced Gaara, thought Naruto as he looks ahead and saw the red haired genin in the distance. He frowns sadly as he can imagine hat kind of childhood he must've had in his village. By the way you spoke to your teammates, Suna must've broken you to the point that you developed distrust and misanthropy...which I can relate if Konoha succeeded in breaking me. Perhaps...I can help you, become friends as we share a common interest, and help you exact your revenge on Suna for breaking you.

BOOM

Suddenly a poof of smoke erupts right in front of the classroom's blackboard and emerging from the fading smoke are three ninja, two wearing light grey jumpsuits while the third one in a darker grey with a black trench and a hitai-ate worn over his head like a bandana. The man in the middle pulls a terrifying grin which is more so given the few face he has on his face.

"Alright maggot pay attention, I am Ibiki Morino, your proctor and worst nightmare" said Ibiki with a sadistic grin.

The proctor Ibiki Morino was known for his reputation as he is also member of the torture and interrogation division for the ANBU, specialized in psychological torture as would use his prisoner's own fear against them rather than force, which is perhaps why he is this years proctor of the chunnin exams.

But Ibiki has a dark secret, just like Iruka he is an agent of Ombré, he was saved by Damonhart when a Leaf ninja named Aoi Rokusho stole the Nidaime's sword

(Flashback 15 years ago)

Young genin Ibiki has fallen in battle against a traitor named Aoi Rokusho, Aoi has tricked Ibiki's brother Idate in stealing one of Konoha's treasures. A weapon known as the Raijin, a sword with a blade of pure lightning-based chakra with a hilt that resembles a Vajra, which was also the emblem of it's previous wielder: Tobirama Senju, the Nidaime Hokage.

Sadly, Aoi killed Idate before Ibiki would even reach them, shocked and angered to see his brother's charred and eletrocuted corpse by the traitor's feet and attempted to apprehend Aoi for his crimes. Sadly he also tasted the might of the Raijin, but it only stunned him as the elecrticity still courses though him. Aoi laughs triumphantly as ne not only disposed of his pawn Idate, but took down Ibiki as well.

"Ha, ha, ha, oh how the mighty Ibiki has fallen," said Aoi with the Raijin in hand while the glowing lightning blade hums vibrantly beneath it's vajra shaped hilt. "I have waited for Idate to become desperate after his own brother failed him on his first try in the Chunnin Exams, and what's funny is that you barred him from ever taking anymore tries in the future.

"Idate should've known about the no-win situation, Aoi," said Ibiki, "but you, you manipulated him, you bastard."

"You made it easy for me, and look where it got you," said Aoi, "defeated and without a brother."

Dark Haze Jutsu said a voice as a dark haze covers, Aoi widens his eyes in shock when the black haze starts to cover the area around him and Ibiki. The traitor starts to take a few steps back until he is pressing his back onto a nearby tree until a figure starts to emerge out of the dark mist, a figre he immediately recognised.

"Y-you, why have you returned" said Aoi

"Whatever my business in this kami forsaken village is my own." said the voice as he plunged his blade into Aoi's heart. "And it'd be pointless to explain it all to a dead man."

The figure dispels the haze. The ninja/knight can see no fear in Ibiki's eyes, in fact he waits for death as he has nothing left to live for, especially when there is no living from the Overlord Damonhart. But instead of death, Damonhart looks at Ibiki with intrigue while taking the Raijin off Aoi's cold dead hand.

"I'm impressed, normally people in Konoha be terrified of me," said Damonhart "And here you are, calm and collected when the chance of death is near.

"A ninja hides his emotions from his enemies, plus I don't fear anything" said Ibiki

Damonhart suddenly laughs as is very impressed at Ibiki's courage, and as he approaches him, he then gives him the now deactivated Raijin.

"What is this?" said Ibiki with confusion.

"I could use people like you, you have quite a reputation for your intimidation, Ibiki Morino" said the ninja/knight.

"You know me?" said Ibiki

"I may have fled from Konoha, but I still keep tabs on it and know who is still serving my brother," said Damonhart, "You, Ibiki have been a very interested person with your expertise."

"You honestly think that I would betray the Hokage and join you?" said Ibiki

Damonhart takes off his mask and stares directly at Ibiki's eyes.

"Yes, yes I do," said Damonhart with a grin. "And besides, I know you resent Konoha for the driving your parents to suicide."

This made Ibiki tense for once, he never told anyone about that as he kept his personal life a secret, he never even told Anko about his parents suicide and people thought they died on the line of duty, even blame it on Damonhart during his hunts.

"How...How do you know that?" said Ibiki hanging his head low with forgotten dispair. "I...never told anyone."

"Information is a powerful weapon to a shinobi," said Damonhart, "and I have many spies in Konoha to relay such information to me. Including the tragic deaths of your parents after Konoha shunned them for their...cowardice, which in fact was the wisest decision out of the impossible choices."

"Aborting the mission is nothing but shame to us ninja," said Ibiki "My parent's are cowards, and I shouldn't let them be remembered as such."

"Then why bother living under their shadow?" said Damonhart "Start over, redeem your family name by serving me. Konoha will never grant you any respect when they learn of you parent's suicide."

"Is that a threat?" said Ibiki

"No, because I don't make threats," said Damonhart , as he pulls out is sword and places it next to Ibiki's neck. "I can always kill you and spare your of the shame, and you'll be nothing but another Konoha ninja I hunted in the night."

Ibiki took a moment to think over what Damonhart just said, and he does have a point. Konoha will never truly respect him, not even if the fact that he is the last son of deserters who took their own lives"to escape the shame of their failures. He's seen what happened to Kakashi when his father took his own live for the same thing, leaving Kakashi a pariah until he was taken in by Minato as his pupils. But Ibiki doesn't have someone like that, his parents are dead, so is his brother, leavng him alone in Konoha.

"Normally I would die by your blade...but I'm not my family," said Ibiki as he then looks up and frowns at Damonhart. "And the fact that you saved my life, means I am in your debt. So if you'll have me, I am yours."

Damonhart smiles as he remove his blade from Ibiki's neck and offer him his hand which Ibiki took.

"Then it's settled," said Damonhart as he helps Ibiki up and gives him the Raijin. "Consider yourself under my services, Ibiki."

"And what can I do for you, my Lord," said Ibiki

"I need you to keep an eye on Konoha for me and report everything back to me," said Damonhart, "you are now my agent and you will only obey me and my successor until the day you die."

"As you wish," said Ibiki bowing to his new master. "I, Ibiki Morino, am your humble servant, Lord Damonhart."

(Flashback ends)

Ibiki looks at Naruto and nods at him secretly.

Young lord, good luck on the exams, thought Ibiki as he discreetly starts at Naruto, because of my reputation I won't go easy on you.

"Okay listen up, for this is the only time I will say this" said Ibiki as he get's everyone's attention. "each and everyone of you will be seated on the desks before you, you will be seated away from your teammates to start the first part of the exam. Now hurry, we don't have all day here."

The Genin where given their designated seats by the many row of desks facing the blackboard. Naruto took his seat, which by surprise and pleasure is next to Hinata. He smiles at Hinata, and Hinata only looks away with a blush forming on her cheeks and a meek smile on her lips.

"Nervous?" said Naruto

"A-A little," said Hinata

"It's normal to have jitters during the exams, but I'm sure you'll do well," said Naruto before frowning when the thought of Kiba. "especially with your teammate around."

"I-I want to say I'm sorry for Kiba's behaviour," said Hinata frowning sadly at herself. "I wish I could tell him off...but."

"It's fine, I can handle dog-breath," said Naruto "But right now, let's start this part of the exams...which I assume is a *shudder* written test?"

Hinata couldn't help but giggle at Naruto as she knows how much he hates written tests, even back when they were only academy students he still hates them.

Suddenly Ibiki slams his fist on the podium to silence everyone who was murmuring at their desks, they then turns to pay attention.

"Alright, now that you're all seated, pay attention as I am about to explain what's going on," said Ikibi as he picks up a piece of chalk and starts writting on the blackboard as he explains verbally. "To some who don't know, the Chunnin Exams are divided in 3 sections, this is the first: the written exam."

This caused some among the group to groan when they heard that, but they were immediately silenced when Ibiki turns to face them with his leer.

"And in this exam, each of you will be given 10 points," said Ibiki "the reason for this is because you will be given 10 questions on this exam, questions if answered wrong results in point deduction. However, you will be watched by the sentinels should anyone of you were caught cheating, those who ever caught gets 2 points deducted from their score. But if you were caught 5 times, you and your team immediately fail and disqualified from the exam."

This causes the candidates frightened but not Naruto, he knows of Ibiki's reputation that he knows the true meaning of this test. The test isn't mean to see how smart you are, it's about information gathering, meaning you must cheat but not get caught by the sentinels. Naruto smirks at this as he lover his gauntlet clad hand and gets ready for the test to start.

And once the clock reached it's new hour, Ibiki begins the test which everyone instantly starts, following with the sounds of rustling paper and pencil strokes and taps. It was a slow moment in the first few minutes, but the rookie 9 and team Gai caught on with the purpose of this written test and knows that they must secretly cheat in order to get the answers.

The sound trio also cheats as they listens to the writing from the candidates next to them. As the Sand siblings, Kankuro used one of his puppets to disguise itself as one of the sentinels so that he can cheat without being penalized, and discreetly share the info to Temari. Gaara on the other hand manifests a floating eye made by his own sand and uses it to spy on the other candidates so that he can copy the answers which are correct.

Kiba uses Akamaru to find the right answer, the pup can sniff at the scent of the candidates who are certain that they have the answer and relays it to Kiba as writs down the answer. Shino uses a bug from his swarm to find the answer, the beetle searches for the right answers from the others and relays to it's host. Hinata as well as Neji uses their Byakugan, so they can search their own answers. Tenten secretly puts up mirrors so she can see the others' test paper that will help herself and Rock Lee. Shikamaru couldn't be arsed and Choji finds the test hard, luckily Ino uses her Mind Transfer Jutsu to help them give the answers.

Sasuke uses his uses his Sharingan to copy the answers in his paper, Sakura just uses her book smarts to pass this test as she is clueless about the purpose of the written test. Naruto summons a Green, despite the stupidity and foul smell they produce, this green is very smart and always cleans his name Brainy a name the minions called him. Brainy turns invisible, and try to find the right answer for his answer, Naruto secretly gives Hinata the answers by slipping a sheet of paper on her lap so she can see with her Byakugan. This shocked Hinata and asked him why he is helping her. He responded silently and mouthed out "I don't want you to fail, Hinata-chan", causing her to blush even more and smiled to know that he really cares for her.

He really cares about me, thought Hinata as she smiles at Naruto, he didn't have to but he does and she appreciates it.

"Thank you, Naruto-kun" whispers Hinata with a bit of bravery in her voice

"You welcome, Hinata-chan" whispers Naruto, happy to hear that she isn't stuttering when she thanked her. Meaning that she is becoming braver and more confident now that she has proper support where her sensei and teammates fail to provide for her. "

She became more confident, perhaps I can ask her on another date without her fainting again, thought Naruto as he smiles at Hinata for gaining her confidence.

45 minutes passed and Ibiki told them to drop their pencils.

"Okay, now its time for the 10th question," said Ibiki, "but before we start I need to tell you more about it. In order for you take the 10th question, you must decide if you want to take it or not."

"Well of course we wanted to take the final question," said Temari with a confused look on her face. "Why wouldn't we."

"Because the decision you make will determine on what happens next," said Ibiki ,If you refuse, you and your team will immediately fail the test and be disqualified from the exams. However, if you accept and answer the question incorrectly, not only will you fail, but are barred from taking the Chunnin exams ever again."

This shocked everyone, a choice such as this sounds completely unfair, some even starts to protest and rally up in complaint.

"You can't be serious, making us to chose from quitting and failing?" said Sakura as she slams her hands on her desk in outrage. "What kind of choice is that?"

"Silence! The choice is yours to make," said Ibiki "It's a gamble which shinobi must take, give up so you can try again, or accept while risking your own success. What is it."

The tension is becoming for everyone, to decide on taking the 10th question or not is unbearable. Naruto remains calm but noticed that Hinata isn't, he reaches for her hand under the desk and held it to support her. He smiles at Hinata and reasures her that everything is going to be alright, the optimism does help a bit for Hinata, but the decision for taking the 10th question is hard.

Suddenly hands starts to rise up as many candidates have decided to give up, meaning that their other teammates are disqualified also. Slowly, more hands are held up as more genin begins to surrender and leaves the room in defeat. Soon, many teams are forced to surrender and leave, decimating the populace in the class room until there are about 80 teams left, but surprisingly none from the Rookie 9, Team Gai, the Sound Trio and Gaara's team didn't raise their hands at all.

"Last chance, you will be risking your entire career as shinobi," said Ibiki, "unable to become Chunnin, forever genin."

"Just get it over with," Naruto exclaimed, "It's quite clear that we made our decision, even me for I never back down. Believe it!"

Ibiki couldn't help but chuckle at Naruto and his little performance, especially when he does have a point, no more hands were raised to show their defeat, and the number candidates remaining seems promising.

"Very well, then I've got one thing to say to you all" said Ibiki with a cruel grin that made everyone except Naruto to shudder with fear. "Congratulations you pass"

Then a window smashes and a person jumps in. she has purple hair in a spiky ponytail. Wears a tan trench coat, orange short skirt, fish netting under that coat, she has a grin that rivals Ibiki's.

"Listen up maggots, I am Anko Mitarashi, proctor of the second exam" said Anko

"You're early, again" said Ibiki with a deadpan expression.

Anko sweat dropped and laughed sheepishly at Ibiki, she then looked at the number of people left and returns to Ibiki with the same deadpan look on her face.

"What the hell, Ibiki I can about so many candidates here?" Anko crossing her arms with disappointment. "Don't tell you've gone soft."

"No, they just proved themselves to be worthy ninja" said Ibiki "I gave them the 10th question, and they answered it without fear."

"Whatever, because when I done with them there will be half left" said Anko grinned that scared everyone. She is Anko Mitarashi, the snake mistress and former student of the Snake Sannin, Orochimaru. Also she is also an agent of Ombré recruited by the Overlord Damonhart, it happed when he freed her from Orochimaru's curse seal back he returned to Konoha, ever since, people think she still has the curse but in truth, it's just a tattoo.

Orochimaru's lab

Young Anko is screaming in pain as Orochimaru bites hear on the neck. The curse seal is slowly forming on her neck. She drops to her knees panting in pain, Orochimaru grins as the experiment went successful.

"You are lucky to be alive, Anko you now have the perfect variant of the curse seal, kukuku." said Orochimaru with a smirk. "Which is surprising, considering the many failed attempts that cost many their lives."

Anko roared in anger as charges at him, she fails as the snake sannin dodges her and she falls to the ground. She tries to get up, but the brand on her neck suddenly burns and causes Anko to scream in agony as she clasp her hand over the mark. She looks up at her master and leers furiously at him, but Orochimaru isn't fazed by her leer as he only smiles and chuckles.

"Don't be foolish Anko, you still have a lot to learn" said Orochimaru as his long tongue creeps out from his wide lips. "And with the cursed seal, you will be my greatest asset ever."

"And you still need to learn about life and power, Snake"

Orochimaru's eyes widened as he remembered that voice years ago, he turns around to see none other than the Shadow Demon himself, Damonhart the Overlord of Ombre.

"So, you have returned, Damonhart" said Orochimaru

"Yes, but not for a visit, I am here for business" said Damonhart

"And that is?"

"The destruction of your twisted experiments on fuinjutsu, and to claim what is mine. My agents have informed me that villager have gone missing these day and found the source. And I see that girl must be one of your test subjects" said Damon angrily at Orochimaru for using children. "You disgust me, snake"

"kukuku, being leathered by the killer of the Namikaze" said Orochimaru "Last I heard that had no problem killing children, so forgive me if I point out your hypocrisy."

"Not at all, I am aware of my actions and regret nothing from it," Said Damonhart "But the difference between you and I is never like you from the beginning, as you always creep me out back when I was only a academy student, you and that pervert Jiraiya."

Orochimaru took out his sword and points it at Damonhart.

"kukuku, you may be an SS-class rouge ninja but you can't beat a Sannin; have at thee, Damonhart" said Orochimaru as he charges at the Overlord.

"I will make this quick, my son needs me" said Damonhart as he raised his gauntlet and points it at Orochimaru

A son? Thought Orochimaru as never recall Damonhart having any children.

But Orochimaru never got the chance to think for as Damonhart performs STOP and immobilized him. Then Damonhart charges at the snake and slashes him with his sword before dispelling the spell. Orochimaru then falls to the ground and screams in pain as the attacks immediately inflicts all over his body simutantiously.

Damonhart is about to finish off the Sanin, but Orochimaru's body suddenly breaks up into a pile of snakes and slithers away into small cracks on the wall to escape. Damonhart scoffs as he sees this and turns away.

"Pathetic, it doesn't matter what rank you are; no one can stop me from completing my goal" said Damonhart before he walks to the frightened Anko.

Anko has heard of the tales of the Shadow Demon of the Bloody Leaf, of the many Konoha ninja he murdered whenever they left the village for missions. She couldn't believe she is seeing him right now, and thought she is about to die by his blade. Damonhart is aware of Anko's fear for him and slowly approaches her while putting away his weapon to show her he means no harm.

"Relax, I will release the burden you hold from you, just relax" said Damonhart as he places his hand on Anko neck, destroying the curse seal.

Anko can feel no pain anymore, she is free. She was surprised that Damonhart did that, but with her recent suffering gone, she couldn't help but run towards him and gives him a hug. Damonhart is surprised by this, but returns the hug and pats her back to comfort her.

"Thank you sir, I don't know why you did that but thank you," said Anko with tears of joy.

"It's no problem, Anko Mitarashi," said Damonhart, "although my rare act of kindness shouldn't go unpaid."

Anko then removes herself from Damonhart.

"What do you want?" said Anko nervously as she asks the Overlord.

"You are very lucky to survive that, meaning that you must be strong," said Damonhart as he offers Anko his hand. "I want you to be my agent, serve me and in time, serve my Successor"

Anko was taken back by this, he is asking her to betray Konoha, she was about to refuse the offer, but Damonhart then gives her a good reason.

"Sooner than later, the news of Orochimaru's heious experiments will ne well known to the Hokage," said Damonhart, "and when Konoha learns of this, do you think they'll see you as a victim, or an accomplice since you are his pupil."

Anko is taken back by this, Damonhart has a point, Konoha is very quick to judge people, they'll see her as a traitor too. But if she accepts the Overlord's offer, she'll be a traitor for real. This is a very sticky situation she is in, be a accused as a traitor for something she did nothing wrong, or be one by turning sides with one of Konoha's hated enemy.

Giving up, Anko immediately nodded and took Damonhart's hand, she now loyal to her saviour and she won't betray him. She then runs out the lab leaving Damonhart to destroy the lab by letting it aflame with his Fireball.

"Now to claim what is mine" said Damonhart as he leaves the burning lab.

Anko had thanked him for freeing and she will repay him by serving his son and successor, Naruto. And Damonhart is right about Konoha seeing her as a traitor despite being a victim to the snake, and not even the support from the Sandaime Hokage could stop the villagers' accusations, and even if she made friends with some of the ninja, even they in their own way believe that she's an agent of Orochimaru, waiting for his orders to reveal hr treachery. Little does Konoha know is that they got the wrong master, for he is sitting among the genin candidates partaking the exams.

She smirks when the news of the impending invasion reached her, and she is more than excited for it to happen.

"Alright, tomorrow we will start the second exam tomorrow, arrives at training ground 44 aka the Forest of death" said Anko as she leaves.

Naruto looks at Hinata with a smile.

"So, do you want to go on another date with me, Hinata-chan?" said Naruto smiling at her.

Hinata couldn't help but blush when he asked her, but she nods in acceptance and for once, she never fainted. Which is good for her first date with him was a start of her development.

Dark Tower

The council watches as their young lord asked Hinata on a date at the tower heart, Kyuubi and Neliel crosses their arms in jealousy as they wanted to go on a date with Naruto also, but can't for he is needed in Konoha for the impending invasion. Hizashi only chuckles from this, his niece is lucky to be liked by the Young Lord and he finds Kyuubi and Neliel's jealousy amusing.

The young lord is a very lucky man for having 4 women thought Hizashi chuckling at the jealous pouts on Kyuubi and Neliel's faces. It's a good thing that Itome isn't here to see this.

Grimmjow just grunts, once again he is still having trouble getting a girl for himself. And seeing Naruto bag another babe makes feel a pang of jealously himself.

Back in Konoha

Naruto and Hinata are walking to Ichikaru ramen, despite the disappearance of his addiction, he like to take her for some ramen, Hinata would love to have some ramen with Naruto. This was a dream come true for the both of them.

"Hinata, I want to show you something" said Naruto as he performs a jutsu

Secret Genjutsu: release

Hinata was in shock at what she just saw, to see Naruto appear as none other than Maelstrom, the rumoured Overlord of Ombre who succeeded Damonhart. Like all Konoha, Hinata has heard of the tales of Maelstrom, how he slaughted so many ninjas from both Konoha and Iwa in the past 5 months. She should be frightened right now, but for some reason she could make herself to be afraid as it's Naruto. And she can't be frightened by Naruto, no she won't. However, the more she looks at Naruto's true form, the she becomes allured by it as she suddenly blushed even more than what she use to.

OMG, he's gorgeous, I wonder what does he look like naked, thought Hinata when suddenly she is fuming from mental overload. For the sight of a much sexier Naruto is too much for her to handle, especially when thoughts of a perverted nature start to invade her mind. NO, bad Hinata bad, no pervy thoughts.

Naruto couldn't help but smile and laugh from this, he was worried at first that revealing himself to Hinata was a bad idea. But it would seem that Hinata is taking this well...sort of. Seeing Hinata so flustered by how sext he is in his Overlord armour, Naruto slowly approaches Hinata and holds her hand.

"Are you alright, Hinata?" said Naruto

Hinata starts to regain her thoughts and looks at Naruto, she still has to compose herself when she is at the presence of an Overlord, even if it is Naruto. She nods hesitantly at Naruto before looking away with a blush on her face.

"I just...need time to process this," said Hinata, "You, being Maelstrom, it's hard to accept."

Naruto smiled once more, he understands who she is feeling right now. Not wanting to pressure the poor girl, Naruto gives her some time to compose waht she just learned and let her cool down.

"How about we discuss this elsewhere, said Naruto as he then snaps his fingers and emerging on the ground is a waypoint gate. "That way, I can also to show you my true home"

"O-Okay" said Hinata as she allows Naruto to pull her closer to him until she is completely within his embrace. This made her blush again but she immediately calms down as the embrace made her feel safe and comfortable, she then rests her head on Naruto's chest and listens to his calm heartbeat. Naruto smiles at Hinata while he takes her to the waypoint gate and teleports into the Dark Tower.

What they didn't know is that they were being spied upon, Neji just saw Hinata being taken away by who he believed to be Naruto, but as he saw him transform, he isn't sure if Hinata was tricked or not.

What just happened, they just disappeared where did they go? Thought Neji with sudden surprise and confusion. He search for any clues that would help him solve his mystery, but nothing was left behind, making the Hyuuga boy more puzzled.

Chapter 20:

Dark Tower

Naruto and Hinata appeared in the tower's throne room and are welcomed by the councillors. Hinata couldn't help but hide her face right in Naruto's chest while the Young Lord deeps his embrace so give her comfort and assurance.

"It's alright, Hinata-chan," Naruto whispers in Hinata's ear. "You are safe here, you're among friends here."

Hinata nods while her face remains pressed on Naruto's chest, for some reason she feels safe as she is right now, but to hear his words of comfort she removes herself from Naruto, albeit hesitantly as she warmth and mesmerising sound of his heart is too much to resist.

"Welcome back, young lord" said Golbez, "and to you too, Lady Hinata."

L-Lady Hinata? Thought Hinata when the thought of being a Lady of the Tower with Naruto makes her blush even more. As if he's saying that she's Naruto...betrothed. Oh merciful Kami, please don't let this be a dream.

"Thank you," said Naruto to the Lunarian Knight, I hope you don't mind me bringing Hinata-chan here."

"Ah yes, Hinata Hyuga," said Neliel with a frown, still jealous of her. "we have heard so much about you. The girl who stole our Lord's heart. You got some nerve hogging him for yourself, girl."

Naruto sweat dropped as Hinata hides behind him, he was glad that Kyuubi was not here to welcome him she would scare the hell out of poor Hinata.

"Can you stop scaring her, Nel-chan," said Naruto with a deadpann expression while Hinata hid herself in his warm embrace. "After all I happen to have a crush on her ever since I was a child, so behave."

Hinata blushed at what he said, Naruto-kun has a crush on me?

"It's been 10 years since I last saw you, Hinata you have grown up as a fine woman and found a good man"

Hizashi Hyuga, Hinata's suddenly appears from the shadows. Hinata was shocked as she saw who believed to be dead for 10 years.

Uncle? Thought Hinata in shock.

Hizashi smiles at her and saw how she had grown into a fine kunoichi, he is partially glad that Kurenai was competent in training her as she can. But thanks to Naruto, her confidence and strength is growing and he couldn't be prouder, unlike his brother Hiashi as he abandons her for another daughter Hanabi.

Hinata is in shock that her uncle who believed to have died for 10 years is standing there, completely alive. Tears suddenly starts to pour our from her eyes, and rushes towards her uncle so that she can hug him. Hizashi took notice and smiles as he opens his arms so he can accept her embrace. A touching reunion lightens up this cold dark tower. It may be strange and confusing, but it's a nice feeling regardless as Hinata is happy to see her uncle again.

Hiashi, my foolish brother, Hizashi thought while frowning in anger as he is sick at how cruel he was, no doubt influenced by the clan elders who are pulling his strings. You may have shunned her like how you shunned those in the Side Branch, but she now has me for family now. And you will never harm her again.

Konoha: Hyuga Compound

Naruto returns Hinata from the visit to the dark tower, he had told her about his family, she was scared at first but she was happy that his father saved her uncle from fate and faked his death to start anew. She understands why Naruto wore a Genjutsu that even the Hyugas can't see through. She will keep it a secret and soon she will be living with him. Naruto smiles as Hinata would never betray him, a proof of love.

Naruto takes Hinata home, she kisses him on the lips and he shares the kiss with her.

"Thank you, Naruto-kun I had a good time" said Hinata

"I'm glad to hear that, well I'll see ya the second exam Hinata" said Naruto before he walks to his apartment

Hinata say goodbye before entering the compound

Without them knowing Hiashi and Neji glares at Naruto leaving the compound

"Neji, I want you to assassinate that boy" said Hiashi "Do it in the second exam."

"Hai, lord Hiashi" said Neji bowing at the clan head before looking back at Naruto, causing his Byakugan to bulge in his eyes. He doesn't know how Naruto vanished like that or where he took Hinata, but he'll be sure to end the boy's life as he is a threat to the clan.

That demon brat will NEVER touch Hinata, thought Neji his leer full of pure hate. Apparently he is like the rest of Konoha, believing him to be a demon too. And if what the current generation say about him, he'll be easy to kill. A dead-last failure like him is weak so a Hyuga can easily kill him.

Training grounds 44

Naruto arrives to the training ground with his team-mates. Naruto listens to Anko's explanation when he felt killer's intent from someone. Neji Hyuga, the nephew of Hiashi and son of Hizashi, Hizashi had warned Naruto about Neji yesterday when he wanted to show his new home to her.

It is time for Naruto and Hinata to go back to Konoha, Hizashi hugs her goodbye and wish her good luck on the Chunnin exams.

"Do your best, Hinata-chan" said Hizashi "I have faith in your success."

"T-Thank you," said Hinata, she is still getting use to getting support from her once dead uncle, but it feels nice and helps with her confidence.

"And remember, true strength comes from your true feelings, you love will make you stronger." Said Hizashi "Remember that I and Lord Naruto loves you and will never stop."

Hinata nods and walks to the waypoint gate. Naruto was about to leave with Hizashi stops him

"Young lord, I just want to tell you to watch out for my son, Hiashi would undoubtedly send him to kill you for dating his daughter." said Hizashi in concern.

Naruto nods

"And if possible, please free him from the caged bird seal like your father freed me" said Hizashi "As you can understand, being apart from my son aches me.

"I'll try, Hizashi," said Naruto "But know that I will not go easy on him if he shows any aggression to me."

Naruto looks at Neji, thinking about what life he had to go through without his father.

Naruto then walked to the gate to the forest, Sasuke has the Heaven scroll, their objective is to find the Earth Scroll and get to the within 5 days.

Team 7 entered the forest, along with the other candidates.

Team Gai sped up as Rock Lee is thrilling to fight tough enemies, Neji is on a mission from Hiashi: Kill Naruto and make it an accident.

Team 7 stopped so they can think of a plan, Naruto leaves to go to the little boy's room. Naruto is now a few miles away from his comrades and waiting, he is waiting for one of his agents. Iruka Umino appears from the trees bows to Naruto.

"My lord, how are you" said Iruka

"Bad, I think I have an assassin after me"

"Who?" said Iruka in concern?

"Neji Hyuga, That bastard Hiashi wanted me dead for dating Hinata-chan" said Naruto

"What are your orders?" said Iruka as he bows at Naruto again

"Go to the Hyugas compound and inform the side branch family that my father liberated to prepare for a coup on the Main branch" said Naruto "that way, the Hyuuga Clan will not assist the Konoha ninja when the make our move.

"Hai," Iruka said and vanishes to do his mission.

Naruto is about to leave when he sees a barrage of kunai aiming at him.

"STOP" said Naruto

The barrage of kunai is now frozen in time; Naruto walks to the direction where the kunai were thrown. Neji Hyuga immobilized in time was seen with a grin in his face and an activated Byakugan in his eyes

Neji, so that bastard Hiashi did send you to kill me after all, thought Naruto frowning at the immoblized Hyuuga. That fool, he has no idea who he's messing with.

Naruto makes shallow cuts at Neji before he says RELEASE, Neji screams in pain and collapses.

"I see that bastard of your uncle sent you to kill me, but its futile." said Naruto as he reaches in Neji's pocket and finds an Earth scroll

"Consider this payment for your ignorance"

Naruto then leaves to return with his team-mate when he hears fearful screams

That's coming from the spot where Sasuke and Sakura thought Naruto as he rushes to help his "Comrades".

Naruto reaches the destination; he hides behind a tree and sees what he was. A grass ninja has bitten Sasuke's neck and a curse seal is formed.

"Secret Genjutsu: release"

Naruto is now in Overlord mode and charges at the Grass ninja. He kicks the grass ninja to a nearby tree and completely destroys it.

Such power, who is this guy? Thought the grass ninja

"Who are you?" said the grass ninja

"I am known as the Maelstrom Overlord and I know who you are, Orochimaru, Snake Sannin."

The grass ninja's eyes widened as he takes off his disguise and reveals a pale skinned man with long black hair and yellow snake eyes.

"How did you see through my disguise" said Orochimaru

"I am an Overlord, no one can fool me, I've heard about you from my father's memories, you experiment on innocent lives for your selfish ambition and you escaped my father's wrath." Said Naruto as he points his sword at Orochimaru

"Kukuku, Damonhart was just fool, If I known of his power, I would just take it off him" said Orochimaru

"I'll gonna tell you a tiny secret, Snake" said Naruto as disappears from Orochimaru's sight and appeared behind him

"Never insult an Overlord." Said Naruto as he punches Orochimaru

BOOM

Orochimaru flies to another nearby tree and destroys it, Orochimaru is now pissed off someone powerful is beating him to a bloody pulp.

"Summoning Jutsu" shouts Orochimaru as he smears his blood on his summoning seal and slams his palm on the floor.

Orochimaru summons a giant brown snake and slivers towards and devours Naruto

"HA, not so tough now are you" said Orochimaru

"Pray for you god, DE LA ZORRO" shouts Naruto as he draws out his sword and flashes in a bright white light.

The snake then exploded and a figure revealed itself, it's a human with fox ears and nine golden tails flying in the wind. He is wearing a black shirt, black pants, black cloak and black leather boots. (Zorro suit) his face is shown but he is wearing an bandana that covers his eyes and hair also wears a hat that once belongs to a legendary hero who brand his insignia to his enemies.

"It takes more than snakes to stop me, bastardo. Said the mysterious person

"What happened to you?"

"This is the power of my sword, de la Zorro. Named after the once famed hero who freed the people from corruption, Zorro was his name, I remember the last time I met him" said Naruto

Dark tower, arena

Naruto, spars with his Kenjutsu trainer, Grimmjow. Naruto gets beaten by him every time.

"Come on, kid you won't get strong if you don't surpass me" said Grimmjow

"I-I w-won't -gi-gi" Naruto sighs and faints

"Huh, he must be tired, can't blame him" said Grimmjow

Naruto's mindscape

Naruto wakes up, he finds himself in some sort of desert but in a town as well. The town was deserted; no one is here until a figure appears.

"Hola, Signor Naruto, it's good to see you."

Naruto sees a figure; he is wearing all black his face is covered in shadows by the hat he is wearing.

"Who are you?" said Naruto

"I am the spirit that resides in that sword of yours; I'm a bit surprised to be in a Japanese sword and not in a spainish one. My name is Alejandro de la Vega, but to the locals of my village, I am known as Zorro. The de la Vega family died out when my son Joaquin turned 18 and fled because of Civil wars. He died in the shinobi Nations and I now reside in a sword that someday be wielded by swordsman with true potential." said Zorro

"So, you are my sword's spirit"

"Si" said Zorro

"How do I waken your power?"

"You need to say Pray for your God, De la Zorro and you will have my power, adios amigo we will meet again" said Zorro as he vanishes

Real world

Naruto woke up in his room with Kyuubi and Neliel in bed with him.

(Flashback ended)

Naruto in his resurrectión took out his sword; it is now a rapier with a beautifully designed hilt and guard.

"Vamos, anaconda" said Naruto as he charges at Orochimaru.

Naruto and Orochimaru charges at each other and clashed swords at together. The battle was catastrophic, Orochimaru uses his tongue as a whip and rope strangle and Naruto uses his new tails as swords, they each blocked slashes and lunges. Orochimaru was being overpowered by Naruto

How did he get such power, it's impossible to stop him? Thought Orochimaru worried.

Orochimaru tries to strike until Naruto kicks the blade away. He grab's the snake's wrist and charges his chakra into his palm, an orb of chakra forms into Naruto's hand

"Adios anaconda; Rasengan!"

Naruto plunges the Rasengan into Orochimaru's chest and he went flying.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" screams Orochimaru as he flies in the sky.

Naruto then seals his resurrectión and walks to the unconscious Sasuke and traumatized Sakura

"STAY AWAY, I KNOW YOU, YOU'RE THE NINJA THAT KILLED ZABUZA" screamed Sakura with a kunai in her hand, trying to protect Sasuke. "NARUTO, HELP US!"

"Shut the hell up, girl SLEEP" said Naruto as he performs Sleep on Sakura

Sakura falls to a deep sleep. Naruto activates his genjutsu and examines the cursed seal.

So this is the cursed seal, I don't think I can destroy it, not if I want to. Damn Uchiha I could kill you right now but I need you in order to achieve my goal for conquering Konoha. Thought Naruto angrily

Naruto then checks if the heaven scroll is still here, fortunately it is. Orochimaru was just testing Sasuke's strength. He then picks Sasuke and Sakura up and rushes to find a cave to camp in.

5 days later, the tower

Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura have reached the tower in time, Sakura had her hair cut short, be because the enemies would grab it and slit her throat. Sasuke is in terrible pain from the Cursed seal.

Naruto would destroy the Seal but he didn't want to because he hates Uchiha and he knows why now, he hates them because they are power hungry ninjas that would do anything to gain power. Madara stole everything from the First Overlord and swore eternal hatred to Madara and his clan.

The first overlord then attacked the founded Konoha to claim his stolen powers until he was killed by Hashirama Senju, the Shodai Hokage and one of the founders of Konoha. Naruto would never forgive the Uchihas for stealing from his ancestor.

Naruto opens the Heaven and Earth scroll, they only says one word:

The scrolls start to get smoky, he throws away the scrolls and then a person appears out of the scroll:

"Congratulations Team 7, you have passed the second exam." said Iruka

Preliminary rounds arena

The Sandaime Hokage appears to congratulate the remaining candidates for passing then Second exam.

"I would like to say well done for passing the second exam, you all know that the life of a Chunnin is a dangerous one, you will be given missions such as assassinations that could be complicated unless you have a cunning plan to make it a success." Said Sarutobi "Now before we start the third and final exam there are too many candidates, our guests the feudal lords from neighbouring countries including the Kazekage from Suna will be expecting strong and skilful shinobi to entertain them. Our proctor Hayate Gekko will be the judge for these Preliminary rounds."

Then Hayate Gekko, proctor of the Prelimitary round has arrived, despite the coughing and sickly appearance he is a strong and skilful swordsman. He too is an agent of Ombré, he met Damonhart at a stormy afternoon when he was 10, the storm is the cause of his sickly appearance and Damonhart saved him.

9 year old Hayate is running away from home, his mother and father shouted at him for no reason.

Damn them, I hate them. I wish is was dead

Hayate hides in the ally when 9 year old Yugao Uzuki finds him

"Hayate-kun, what are you doing here, the storm is dangerous."

"I'm running away, my mom and dad shouted at me for no reason" said Hayate as started to cough, the storm is giving him a fever.

"Hayate we must go in, you'll catch a cold"

"No, I rather die"

SLAP

Yugao slaps him for saying that, she doesn't want anything bad to happen to him

"Don't say that, you have a bright future, ahead of you, perhaps with me" said Yugao as she blushed at what she said

Hayate smiled until he coughed and started to get feverish. Hayate faints to unconsciousness.

"Hataye, HAYATE, HELP HAYATE'S SICK, HELP ME!" shouts Yugao in desperation

"Don't worry little girl, he won't die"

Yugao looks and sees a ninja/knight.

"Please help him" begged Yugao

"Are you in love with him?" said the ninja/knight

Yugao blushed and nodded shyly. The ninja/knight summoned blue minions, Yugao panicked until the ninja/knight places his hand on her shoulder

"Don't worry, they are healers, they will help your friend" said ninja/knight

The blues casts a healing spell on Hayate; Hayate slowly gains consciousness and sees Yugao hugging him.

"Thank you mister for saving Hayate-kun" said Yugao "How can I repay you?"

"I can see why you are here in a terrible place such as this, I am on a guest to save my son, and If I fail you will protect him, can you do that?" said the ninja/knight

Hayate and Yugao nodded as the ninja/knight shows a holographic image of the baby Naruto

"You will be my agents, you duty is to serve me and protect my son. I am Damonhart Namikaze, 5th Overlord of the dark tower and king of Ombré" said Damonhart.

"We will obey your every command, Master Damonhart" said Hayate as he coughed

Hayate, along with Yugao and Iruka had been ordered to serve and protect their young lord.

Young lord, it's good to see you again thought Hayate as he coughs again

"Listen up; I am Hayate Gekko, your proctor and judge of the Preliminary rounds. Before I start would anyone like to give up?"

There is no respond, what are left are the rookie 9, team Gai, sand siblings and the sound trio.

"No, okay let preliminaries begin"

The screen appears in to arena, it is 20ft tall and 40ft wide and name are randomly changing until 2 names are shown. Those name with fight against each other. 2 names appeared on the screen

Sasuke Uchiha vs. Zaku

"Those whose name stays here, the rest shall leave to the upper level to watch the fight" said Hayate "Okay the rules are simple, if you are killed or unable to fight you will lose. I will stop this fight if necessary."

Sasuke and Zaku nods

"Okay, BEGIN!" said Hayate as he leaves the arena.

Sasuke activates his Sharingan and charges at Zaku smirks and raises his hand to Sasuke.

"Slicing sound waves" said Zaku

Air currents shoot out of Zaku's hands, Sasuke misses barley until he feels pain from the curse mark. Sasuke drops to his knee as he hears a voice in his head

You wish for power, use me and you will become powerful said a dark eerie voice in Sasuke's mind.

No, I won't surrender to Evil

There is no good or evil, only power use me said the dark voice.

Sasuke resists the curse seal, and stood up and charges at Zaku missing the air currents, he then kick him in the chin lifting him up in the air then suddenly Sasuke does a move called Lion's Barrage to end the match. Zaku lays on the floor unconscious.

"Sasuke Uchiha wins this match" said Hayate

Sasuke walks to the upper floor when Kakashi stop him

"Sasuke, come with me so I can deal with that Cursed seal for ya" said Kakashi

Sasuke was shocked at this before he nods and leaves with Kakashi.

The next round began.

Shikamaru vs. Kin

Shikamaru tricked Kin by using Shadow Possessionand knocked Kin out, Shikamaru win this round

Ino Yamanaka vs. Sakura Haruno

Basicly it's a fight between rivals who loves Sasuke, Naruto finds it pathetic, although Kyuubi and Neliel have a bit of a rivalry but they decided to share Naruto. Anyway he decided to not watch the catfight.

The match was a draw, Sakura and Ino didn't win.

Shino vs. Kankuro

Shino uses his insects and Kankuro uses his puppet called Crow. The battle was won when Shino's insects devoured Kankuro's chakra strings that control Crow and Kankuro surrenders.

Temari vs. Tenten

Tenten is known as the "Weapons mistress" and wanted to have a spar with the famous "weapons master" that her father told her as a bedtime story, she skilfully throws her weapons at Temari but just blows them away with her big fan.

Tenten then took two scrolls out, she was about to save these for the final exam but she use then anyway, she uses Twin Rising Dragons and took out all of the weapons that she has and throws them at Temari. Termai then blows them away.

"My turn" said Temari as she swishes' her fan at Tenten, the winds are like blade, they cut Tenten with little cut then she drops unconscious.

"Winner is Temari" said Hayate

Tenten unconsciously remembers the story of the "Weapons Master"

(Flashback 10 years ago)

"Daddy, tell me a story please" said 4 year old Tenten as she is in bed.

"Ok, I will you a story, a story about a great warrior that masters every weapon that was used in battle. Long ago in the kingdom of Fynn, a powerful empire invades the peaceful kingdom of Fynn, a young man with his adopted siblings fled to escape the empire but was caught by dark knight, and they slew the young man but survived. The young swore that the empire will go down but before that he must master every weapon he can hold, a sword, bow, axe, spear, mace, daggers and shield. His name is Firion and he was known as the "Firion the weapons Master"

Tenten was amazed and inspired that she wanted to meet the weapons master and prove that she will surpass him.

The match continues.

Kiba Inuzuka vs. Naruto Uzumaki

Kiba cheers because he thought that he would get an easy battle, Naruto looks at Kiba

Never underestimate your opponent, Dog boy or you will regret it thought Naruto with a hidden smirk on his face

The match begins, Kiba was beaten Naruto to a pulp, Naruto was just toying with Kiba because he too arrogant. Naruto took out a whistle and blew it. Kiba's and Akamaru's ears started to hurt. The Inuzuka's senses are like dogs, very sensitive.

"Ha, didn't expect that did you Dog boy, I bought this dog whistle so if I run into you and your pup" said Naruto in his "Knucklehead" act

"Hey, he cheated" said Kiba to Hayate

"That counts as a weapon and tool for Ninja, dog whistles are authorized" said Hayate

Clever thinking Young lord thought Hayate with a hidden smirk on his face.

Kiba is now pissed off as he fed Akamaru a food pill then he turned into a clone of Kiba

"Take that you bastard; Fang over fang"

2 cyclones appear toward Naruto, he dodges them but they continue to strike at Naruto. Naruto then places his hands to stop the cyclones, he succeeded and Kiba and Akamaru stopped spinning.

"How, that could've torn you to sheds" said Kiba in shock at what Naruto did.

"Surprise" said Naruto as he gave a left hook at Kiba. Then he kicked Akamaru.

Kiba and Akamaru are on the floor unable to move.

"The victory goes to Naruto Uzumaki" said Hayate

Naruto walks to the upper floor when he saw Hinata happy, she is proud of Naruto beaten Kiba. Naruto walks to Hinata and gives her a hug.

"Well done, Naruto-kun" said Hinata with a lot of courage, she no longer stuttering and now brave because of seeing her Uncle, she likes her uncle before his "Death" and was glad to see him again.

"Thank you Hinata-chan" said Naruto

Hinata was happy until see saw what terrified her.

Hinata Hyuga vs. Neji Hyuga

Hinata was shivering, she is about to fight her cousin, she then gained back her courage when she remembered her uncle's word

Remember Hinata, true strength comes from you true feelings, you love will make you stronger.

Hinata walks to the arena; she is now confronted by Neji.

"Hinata you should give up you aren't destined to become a chunnin, you are only here because of your team mates, now they are not here to help you, you shou-"

"Be silent, Neji" said Hinata angrily, "I can tolerate your harshness to me no longer."

"What?" said Neji as he was taken back by Hinata's new grown confidence and anger. For 10 years he's known her to be nothing but timid and shy, this is new and strange to him as he never saw her angry at all.

"I'm sick of tired of being let down, being called weak because of my kindness, you just hate me because I am from the main family." Hinata grits her teeth in anger, tears starts to pour out from her eyes as she begins to activate her Byakugan and leers angrily at Neji, making him flich and step away.

I DIDN'T WANT THIS." shouted Hinata, now feeling brave than ever, she hates that her father belittles her, calling her weak, abandoning her with low expectations. And she hates Neji for the same thing, only because of some petty feud between the main and side branches of their clan. "I didn't want us to fight as enemies, but I can't sit by and do nothing anymore. This division of our clans has gone long enough."

"You can't change it, Hinata," said Neji "And much like the result of this match, you can't change our destiny."

"Destiny," said Hinata, she hated that word when it's being used by Neji. But it's more than excuse to give up when all hope is lost. But hope isn't lost to Hinata, so to hell with destiny. "we choose our own path, Neji. You only abandoned yours when Jiji died"

Neji is now angry when she mentioned his father.

"DON'T YOU DARE MENTION HIM" Neji roared at Hinata, "It's because of you, he is dead!"

Hinata didn't listen as she poses in her Juuken kata with her Byakugan activated. Neji couldn't help but feel uneasy by how calm and focused Hinata is, much like a clan heir should present herself. But that's not all, when he stares right into her eyes, he becomes more unnerved...scared in fact as there there is something else in her Byakugan activated eyes, something he never thought she'd show.

Cold murderous intent of an ninja.

I can feel killer intent coming from her, thought Neji as his back feels cold and riddled with goosebumps. He gulps slightly and tries to calm down so to reclaim his composure, I don't know how she gained such confidence, but she'll fall by my hand and lose like a failure.

"If you want to fight, very well but remember this, you are destined to lose by me"

Hinata just charges at Neji with the intent to kill, the kind-hearted Hinata is still there but now with an darker side: a cold-hearted Hinata that she will only show to her enemies, with no mercy at all.

Neji and Hinata now clashes in battle with their Juuken style Taijutsu. The style is, in opinion by all, like elegant dancing between the two, and instead of fists and kicks, Neji and Hinata attempts to press their outstreched palms to jab on their opponent's bodies, only for them to each swat their attempted moves away which then gives out faint flows of chakra eminating from their hands.

To the naked eye, it may seem to be like they are trying to slap one another, but to the trained eye, they can see that the Hyuugas' hands are covered in chakra, and their bulged pale eyes are fixed to certain parts of their bodies.

Naruto knows what Hinata and Neji are looking at with their Byakugan as it was mentioned to him by Hizashi prior his training in Ombre. The Byakugan grants the wielder the sight to see their opponent's chakra network within the body. And with the Hyuuga's Juuken style, they can taget the chakra points that can either disable their opponents or kill with just a single jab of their palm. And judging by the way Neji and Hinata are striking, it seems they are attempting to go for near-fatal moves.

Naruto couldn't help but be proud of Hinata as she developed a very deadly side of her, which is turning him on.

Well done Hinata-chan, you have faced your fears and proved that emotion isn't weak.

The battle continues, and Neji is struggling for Hinata i not showing any mercy, now when there is pure hatred in her eyes and putting a lot of strength in her moves. This worries Neji, she is overpowering her and without a doubt kill him if she hits him with one of her moves. Not only that, as Hinata is showing her strength as the heir of the Hyuuga's main branch, this will makes him feel small...just like he already is as a member of the Side Branch.

NO, I won't lose to her, thought Neji as the thought of his defeat by the hands of Hinata infuriates her. Especially when it goes against what he believes in. She is destined to lose, she MUST LOSE!

Neji suddenly pushes on through desperation and forced determination. He pushes back Hinata as he becomes more arrgessive with his own moves, turning the tides of the battle in his behavour. Hinata is noticing this and becomes worried as she is not switching for the defence so to protect herself from Neji's attacks. But it is all in vain as Neji managed to make a fatal blow on Hinata by jabbing his palm staight to her chest. Hinata's eyes widened in shock by this, she can feel as if the wind in her lungs was knocked out and her heart stops beating. She looks at Neji with surprise while getting an indifferent look from her cousin, then she looks at Naruto and starts to seep out tears.

"N-Naruto...kun," Hinata said speaks with utmost difficulty, "I-I'm sorry."

And like that, Hinata collapses.

"HINATA!" screamed Naruto in fear as he ran to Hinata. He drops down to his knees when he is near and starts to checks for a pulse, he sighs in laboured relief that he found it. Although it's faint, Hinata is still alive and that's enough. Hinata slowly opens her eyes to see Naruto kneeling beside her, tears starts to flood her eyes as she feels ashamed for losing in front of him.

"Naruto-kun, I'm sorry" said Hinata with tears seeping out from her eyes. But Naruto smiles sadly at her and place his hand on her cold wet cheek.

"Shh, it's alright, Hinata-chan," said Naruto as he tries not to break up in tears himself as he feared for her life. "You proved yourself that your strong, and I am proud of you."

Naruto kissed Hinata on the cheek, causing the girl to blush faintly as she is wounded internally and of need of medical condition. Fortunately a squad of Medical ninja came to collect Hinata so they can take her to the hospital, Naruto watches with worry as they place Hinata on a stretcher and carries her out of the arena.

Neji glared at Naruto, Neji failed to kill him once but he takes satisfaction to put Hinata in her place. Naruto turns to look at Neji with anger, he is furious at the Hyuuga boy as he nearly killed Hinata, his future mistress. Yes, Naruto asked her to be her Mistress when he took her to the Dark Tower, and with hesitation, Hinata accepted as she would be happier to live with Naruto. Even if he is evil, she wouldn't care as it wouldn't change how she feels for him.

But the fear of her dying starts to plague Naruto's mind, and he'll blame Neji for this. His rage brews and boils like a steaming kettle which the immense heat would eventually crack it into pieces.

How dare you try to kill my Mistress, you will pay for this Neji

Neji just walks away. A medics rushes back to Naruto while another goes for Kurenai up on the ledge.

"Miss Hyuga is fine, Neji missed the heart, but her ribs are broken, we need to treat them in order for her to survive" said the medic

Naruto nods as the medic and thanks him for telling him. Naruto gives Neji another leer before he returns to the ledge so that he can watch the rest of the preliminary matches.

Rock Lee vs. Gaara

Rock Lee, the ninja will a disease that eats away chakra so he can't perform jutsus but that doesn't stop him from being a ninja. His suit is inspired by his role model and teacher Mitao Gai, the green beast of Konoha and eternal rival of Kakashi. Lee is ready for the round with Gaara. The battle begins, Lee then charges at Gaara and kicks him but the kick was blocked by the sand that spouted out from Gaara's gourd. Lee keeps kicking and punching butt Gaara keeps blocking. Lee can't get a single blow until Gai shouts

"LEE TAKE THEM OFF" Said Gai

"BUT GAI-SENSEI, I CAN ONLY DO THAT IF SOMEONE PRECIOUS TO ME IS IN DANGER" said Lee

"I'm giving you permission" said Gai in his good guy pose

Lee nodded and took off then weight strapped in his legs

Weights; how can that change the situation?

Lee then drops them and then

Naruto was shocked at this.

Those weights must weigh a ton, if he was wearing those all the time, then his stamina and speed must envy my Sonído

Naruto was right, Lee's speed increased as punched Gaara, Gaara sand was not quick enough to defend him, he was beaten to a blood pulp, until he disappeared, he was wearing an armour of sand, a secondary defence just in case. Lee's right arm and leg is now cased in sand.

Lee tried to release himself from the sand; Gaara smiled a insane smile, his eyes hunger for blood when he says

Lee's arm and leg in now crushed, Lee scream in pain until he fainted. Gaara was about to finish the job when Gai Intervened. Gaara was confused.

"Why did you save him, he failed" said Gaara

"Because he's my student, he is precious to me" said Gai

Gaara was about to leave when he saw Lee stand up

"Lee that's enough, you fou-" Gai didn't finish the sentence when he saw Lee's eyes, he is unconscious.

"Oh Lee, look at you. Even unconscious you still never give up to fight" said Gai in tears, he is sad and proud at the same time, Gai hugs Lee "That enough, you have proven to the world that you can be a ninja without Ninjutsu.

Naruto looks sad at Lee's condition

He is strong not just in body, but in mind and soul. He never gives up a fight, until the foe is defeated, when I conquer Konoha and encounters him; I will give him an Honourable Hero's death.

Gai takes Lee to the hospital, Naruto gives a salute.

Recover your injuries, Rock Lee so I will fight you. You have been honoured to be my rival, a rival that will equal my strength, a rival that will be soon stop me and become a hero of the Shinobi Nations

Choji Akamichi vs. Dosu

The battle didn't last long, Dosu knocked Choji down with his sound jutsus. Dosu won that round.

The preliminaries are over and the Hokage appears to congratulate the victors

"Well done for passing through the Preliminaries, I am proud to see most talented ninja before me, Now in this box in are numbers, take one and tell me the number" said Sarutobi

The prelim victors took out a number.

"1" said Naruto

"2" said Neji

"3" said Gaara

"5" said Temari

"6, troublesome" said Shikamaru

"7" said Shino

"8" said Dosu

"Then Sasuke is number 4, the final exam will start within the month, so that means you will have time to train new Jutsus and skills, good luck for the tournament in the final exam" said Sarutobi

"Does that mean only 1 person will win, how troublesome" said Shikamaru

"Yes, but the proctor will mark your results if you are worthy of being chunnin, even if you win or lose Nara-san" said Sarutobi

Shikamaru just mutters "Troublesome"

"Now, go rest and train for the upcoming exam" said Sarutobi as he leaves, everyone leaves except Naruto and Hayate. Hayate blows to his Master

"Report" said Naruto

"I believe we have competition for conquering Konoha, young lord. Sound has waged war against Konoha" said Hayate

Naruto growls at this, no one invades and conquers Konoha except him.

"If that's the case then we will kill those Sound ninja, do they have allies" said Naruto

"Not that I know of, young lord" said Hayate

"Okay, if you see a sound ninja spy, go follow him and find out who are teaming up with"

"Hai Lord Naruto" said Hayate as he disappears

Naruto was about to leave when Iruka appears with a smile on his face

"Mission accomplished, the Hyuga branch cooperated to join us, they are all forever grateful for being released from the caged bird seal" said Iruka

"Not all" said Naruto sadly

"Pardon, young lord" asked Iruka

"Neji Hyuga is still in loyalty with Hiashi, I will release him personally, but after I punish him for hurting my Hinata-chan" said Naruto's eyes turned blood-red, the Namikaze legacy has reawakened.

Hospital

Naruto went to the hospital to Hinata and Lee. Naruto asks the reception.

"Excuse me, can you tell what room number Hinata Hyuga and Rock Lee are in?"

The nurse tell him the number, Naruto thanks her and goes to Hinata first.

Hinata's room

Naruto enters Hinata's room, Hinata is fine now the broken ribs are now mended, Hinata see Naruto smiling.

"Hinata-chan, how are you" said Naruto

"I'm fine, but I disappointed you Naruto-kun, I didn't prove my strength to you" said Hinata sadly

Naruto walks towards her and gently hugs her and kisses her on the forehead.

"What are talking about, I've seen you overpower Neji, I'm proud off you Hinata-chan" said Naruto smiling at Hinata

Hinata blushed, she is now happy that Naruto is proud of her.

"Thank you, Naruto-kun" whispers Hinata as she is getting tired.

"You're welcome, I need to go and visit another patient, so you get some rest, my hime" said Naruto as he kisses her on the lips and leaves

Hinata blushes once more

He kissed me on the lips and he called me his hime. I glad he likes... no, loves me. Thought Hinata sleeps peacefully in her bed.

Rock Lee's room

Naruto enters Lee's room, but Lee is not in the room. Naruto then see a window open

With the injuries he gained he shouldn't leave this room, where is he.

Naruto can hear counting, Naruto looks out the window and see Lee with a sling on his arm and a cast on his leg, and he is doing push-ups.

"995, 996, if I can't do a 1000 one arm push-ups then I will do a 1000 one leg squats, 997" said Lee in pain.

Lee is struggling but he won't give up.

"998"

Lee is sweating and screaming in pain the nurses then see what Lee is doing.

"Sir please stop, you need to rest" said the nurse as she is about to stop him

"DON'T STO ME, I NEED TO END THIS, JUST 2 MORE, 999 AGRHHHH!" screams Lee in pain

"COME ON JUST 1 MORE, YOU CAN DO IT, ARGHHH! 1000" said Lee before he collapses to the ground.

Naruto was impressed, even in his condition he did 1000 one arm push ups

I'm impressed; you will make a worthy rival.

Naruto then summons a blue.

"When the nurses leave and Lee is asleep, heal his arm and leg" said Naruto as he leaves.

The blue nods the hides under the bed.

Naruto is about to leave when he sees Kakashi heading for the room that believed to be Sasuke's.

"Hey Naruto, what are you doing he?" said Kakashi

"Just saying hello the Hinata-chan and Rock Lee" said Naruto

"I see, well I need to see Sasuke, I'm training him, what about you?" said Kakashi

"I'll have personal trainings on my own, so see you LATE-r" Joked Naruto

Kakashi chuckles at the pun Naruto made and walked to Sasuke's room.

Training Ground 7

Naruto enters the training grounds when he sees Hayate with a few cuts.

"What happened to you?" said Naruto

"I had a little run in sand ninja, the sand in allegiance with the sound ninjas"

(Flashback)

In the night, the Sand Jonin and the Oto spy Kabuto just watched the destructive powers of Gaara releasing Shukaku.

"So that is the power of Shukaku?" said Kabuto "Quite impressed"

"Are you sure your okay with that, he was a sound ninja" said the sand Jonin as he and Kabuto watched Gaara kill Dosu.

"Yes, he was just a pawn for Lord Orochimaru's plans, also he has competition" said Kabuto the Sound spy

"Competition, someone want's to destroy Konoha?" said the sand jonin.

"Yes, Lord Orochimaru fought him, he has great power. He is known as the "Maelstrom Overlord"

"Overlord, I've heard stories about them, I thought they were just a legend" said the sand jonin

"No, they aren't. We must find and kill in order to complete our plan"

"Don't worry; Gaara will kill him in no time" smirks the Sand Jonin

They chuckled, in the shadows Hayate is spying on them

So, the Sand is in allegiance with Sound and Orochimaru is the leader of the Invasion, this could be valuable information for the young lord.

"Oh and don't worry about our little spy, I will dispose of him" said Kabuto

"No, allow me; consider it a proof of loyalty for Sound" said the Sand Jonin

Hayate then run to give the information to Naruto, but he is now encounted by the sand jonin

"So, the Hokage sent the proctor to spy on his allies"

"No, I am sent to spy on the sound spy for my master, I just found out that you are secretly allies with Orochimaru" said Hayate

"Yes but I afraid you can't tell your master because you are already dead"

Hayate then took out his sword and charges at the sand ninja.

"Creasent moon dance"

Hayate went faster as he used that move, but his sword is stuck on the shoulder part of the sand ninja armour.

"He, impressive but your sword is stuck. A sword made of winds however can't get stuck; goodbye"

The wind then slices Hayate until he drops to the ground dead. The sand ninja chuckles and leaves, as he didn't know that it was a shadow clone, the shadow clone disappears and the information is sent into Hayate, but he shared some injuries, from the clone.

"So they use Gaara as a secret weapon, they should be ashamed of themselves" growled Naruto as he leaves

"Where are you going?" said Hayate

"Too free Gaara from the curse he is in" said Naruto as he disappears

Gaara's apartment

Gaara is just sitting as Kankuro is working on his puppet and Temari is looking out of the balcony.

"So, how was the training" said Kankuro

"Lousy" said Temari in a bored tone

Gaara said nothing.

"I see… well I wish something interesting happen because I hate waiting for the invasion" said Kankuro

Then suddenly, a dark haze appears in the room.

"What the-"

Kankuro was knocked out along with Temari, Gaara's eye widened as a figure grabbed him by the collar.

"Are you Gaara of the desert?" said the figure as the haze clears to reveal Naruto in his Overlord form.

"Yes" said Gaara in fear

"I see, SLEEP"

Gaara dropped to a deep sleep, Naruto drops him as the sand forms into a demonic racoon

"YES, I'M FREE BABY, OH RIGHT CHAOS TIME" said the Demon freed from Gaara in happiness

"Are you Shukaku? One of the great 9?" said Naruto

"WHO WANT'S TO KN- WAIT, DAMONHART?" said Shukaku in shock

"No, I'm his son, Naruto" said Naruto

"I see, your father was a good friend of mine, he impressed me with the carnage he has shown me in his Overlord days, anyway how is Kyuubi, last time I heard the bitch got herself seal in some brat" said Shukaku

"Now you wouldn't be talking about me are you?" said Kyuubi as she appeared from the flames in her human form

"*whistle* you look great in that form, I'm so Jealous that you are free, I stuck in that brat and I can only gain control if he's asleep, a rare occasion." said Shukaku with a pout

"Would you like to be free, Shukaku-san" said Naruto

Shukaku was shocked in that.

"Would you do that for me?" said Shukaku

"Yes, but in one condition, you will swear you allegiance to me and never terrorise Gaara anymore" said Naruto

"Deal, like I wanted to terrorise the brat anyway, I have a bit of a soft spot with him, the way they treat him makes me sick" said Shukaku with anger in his voice, he didn't like what humans did to Gaara.

Naruto performs a jutsu that will release Shukaku on Gaara, Shukaku is now free, he in human form. He is in a monks robe and a shade hat, his face is tattooed on the left side. His eyes like when he is in demon form.

"Ah it's good to be free, thank you Naruto, Those sand will now regret of sealing me in Gaara-san" said Shukaku with a sadistic grin in his face.

"Okay, now I can go now" said Naruto as he leaves the sleeping Gaara with Shukaku, Shukaku vanishes into sand a returned to Gaara's mindscape.

When Gaara wakes up, I will explain the change of plan. We are now allies of the Overlord

A month later: Konoha arena

Naruto had trained allot in the month and rushed to the main arena where the final Exam is. Naruto is confronted with Shikamaru, a worried Temari (she is worried because Gaara slept good, and she know what would happen if Gaara sleeps), Neji (who is glaring at Naruto, he is still on a mission to kill Naruto and this will be the best opportunity do it), Shino and Gaara (Gaara is now at peace because he has slept and he thanked Naruto for freeing him from Shukaku, Shukaku told him everything) the Only people who are missing are Dosu (who was killed by Gaara) and Sasuke (Like Naruto would carte about him).

Genma, the senbon chewing Jonin and Proctor appears towards the contestants, Genma is also an agent of Ombré, his job is to spy on Konoha and reveal the dark secrets that the Konoha council has made. Genma was keeping an eye on Danzo, the old War-hawk, military advisor and former head of a secret ANBU section called ROOT who was disbanded by Sarutobi for the safety of Naruto.

The council nodded, they hated Naruto because he contains the Kyuubi, Danzo was about to use him as a weapon but now that Sarutobi is back to his Hokage duties, his plan is now foiled.

Genma heard of what Danzo was planning to do, he reported it the other agents

The agent meeting place

Iruka, Ibiki, Anko, Hayate, Yugao and Itomé were gathered to listen to Genmas report

"The young lord is in danger, Danzo and the council is planning to kill him" said Genma

The agents were shocked

"How dare they, we will stop them" said Anko

The Agents agreed then they rushed to Naruto's apartment.

Naruto's Apartment

8 year old Naruto is safely asleep in his, Root ANBU quietly crept inside to assassinate him, but he was stopped as a snake shot out and killed one of them.

"Who's there" said one of ROOT

8 figures approaches from the shadows, they are masked so they won't reveal their Identity

"We are the Agents of Ombré and we will not let you kill the young lord"

"What are you talking about, the Kyuubi brat must die" said ROOT

"Don't compare lady Kyuubi with Lord Naruto" said a raven haired female agent (Itomé)

"Lord Naruto?" said ROOT

"You are looking at the new Overlord and we won't let you kill him" said the tall agent (Ibiki)

"Ha, you are fool, we are from ROOT, the strongest Shinobi from Konoha" said ROOT

Half of ROOT is now dead as two agents with swords stained in blood killed.

"You are fool, we are Agents of Ombré, deadliest of all Ninja" said the agent with a ponytail (Iruka)

"So don't underestimate us" said the Purple haired Agent (Anko)

The two swords wielding Agents then killed the rest of ROOT.

"They are arrogant fools" said the Male sword wielding Agent (Hayate)

"Yeah, they won't succeed as long as we survive" said the female sword wielding Agent (Yugao)

"Now that ROOT are disposed of we should dispose of the bodies before the Young awakes" said Itomé

The agents agrees and takes the bodies and cleans the blood away

I'm glad you are safe young lord, soon Konoha with meet its fate

"Okay, we will begin the exam; Round 1 is Neji Hyuga vs. Naruto Uzumaki.

Naruto and Neji stay as the rest leaves. Naruto glares at Neji with hatred, he has hurt his Hinata-chan and he will pay for it. Neji glares at Naruto with a smirk on his face, because he believes that Naruto is destined to die by his hand.

"You are a fool Naruto, you should give up; you aren't destined to win" said Neji

"Sorry to disappoint you but fate is not on your side, I will make you pay for hurting Hinata-chan" said Naruto with a smirk on his face then anger at Neji for hurting Hinata

"She had it coming, she is weak"

"Weak; I've seen her overpower you, she has proven her strength, her love of me gives her that strength and I'm proud of her" said Naruto with a proud face

"Emotions make people weak, you just can't see that"

"Emotion makes us human, enough talk we have a battle to start" said Naruto with a battle stance

"So true, let fate decides who will win this fight" said Neji with his Byakugan activated.

Dark Haze Jutsu

A black haze appears surrounding the arena.

"What is this?" said Neji

Naruto in his Overlord form appears and grabs Neji by the collar.

"This is your fate, Neji. You fate for hurting Hinata-chan" said Naruto as he throws Neji to the floor.

Neji stood up in pain, his Byakugan still activated. He was shocked what he sees as the haze gets thin.

"Impossible, you are known as the Knuckleheaded ninja, how you got such power?"

"I had this power ever since I was graduated; I was deceiving you all because you are my enemies. But you Neji, you are gonna be reunited to someone you believed to be dead" said Naruto

"Who"

"Your father, Hizashi Hyuga"

"IMPOSSIBLE, MY FATHER DIED WHEN I WAS 4" shouted Neji

Naruto just grabs him by the neck and punches him in and faces Neji flies back at the wall, Naruto uses Sonído, punches him and kicks him more. The force of his punches broke every bone of Neji's body, Naruto keeps punching him and kicking him until blood comes out of his bruises. Neji screams in agony but Naruto ignored him, he wanted him to suffer for what he did to Hinata.

"Pl-please no more, I-I can't take anymore" pleaded Neji

Naruto just kicks him in the face, Neji screams in agony. Neji pants for air as the pain is too much for him

I can't believe it, his too strong, I can see now how Lady Hinata feels now, Naruto is showing me her pain. Thought Neji

Naruto then grabs Neji by the collar and ripped out his Hitai-ate, showing his Caged Bird seal.

"I know why you hate Hinata-chan but don't blame her for something she didn't want. You are a fool for keeping your loyalty to the person who is responsible of your father's "Death", yes I know about the feud between your family and basically I don't care, what I care is the conquest of this Village and the execution of the fools who tried to control Konoha for their selfish ambition" said Naruto as his free arm blows in black Chakra. "I think you have taught a lesson about the difference in strength, Fate does nothing, Emotions does everything, including strength, Secret Sealing: Release

Naruto then punches Neji in the forehead, the caged bird seal is now destroyed and leaving Neji unconscious on the ground. The haze disappears and Naruto changed back in his disguise.

"With Neji unable to fight Naruto wins this round"

The crowd boos at Naruto, they see him as a cheater, but Naruto and Genma don't care.

Soon those boos will be turn into screams of terror when the conquest begins thought Naruto with a smirk on his face.

Naruto walks out of the arena so the next round, but Sasuke is not here.

"Young lord, when do we attack?" whisper Genma

"When Sound makes its first move" replied Naruto as he leaves

Genma nods

"Next round is Sasuke Uchiha vs. Gaara of the Desert" said Genma

The crowd is getting anxious; they want to see the last Uchiha fight. Sarutobi sighed as he is about to disqualify him until…

"Lord Hokage, there must be a good explanation for being late, can't we just postpone the match until he arrives" said the Kazekage, or should I say Orochimaru.

Sarutobi nods as he tells his guard to inform the proctor. The guard then body flicks, to tell Genma to postpone the match.

"Lord Hokage wants you to postpone Sasuke's match" said the guard

"I see… everyone listen up, due to Sasuke's lateness I hereby postpone his match, the next round is Shikamaru Nara vs Temari" said Genma

The crowd boo, the WANT to see Sasuke fight. Shikamaru groaned of disbelief.

"Great, my match is started and I'm a girl" said Shikamaru sarcasticly "How troublesome"

"Oh shut up and fight, Lazyass" said Naruto as he kicks Shikamaru off the ledge and fall off.

"Whoa AAAAAHHHHHHH!" shouts Shikamaru

THUD!

Shikamaru crashes down and glare at Naruto for pushing him.

"If I ever survive this, you're dead Naruto" grumbles Shikamaru

Shikamaru just lay there watching the clouds, Temari is getting impatient and charges at Shikamaru, she uses her unfolded fan as a club and whacks Shikamaru.

BAAM

The dust clears and she misses, Shikamaru is standing on 2 kunai pinned on the wall.

"You really are a spunky one, I hate Spunky" said Shikamaru

"Oh yeah, well I hate lazy arses who won't put up a fight" shouts Temari

"How troublesome, but don't have a choice" said Shikamaru as he jumps off the kunai and performs his signature jutsu.

"Shadow Possession Jutsu"

Shikamaru's shadow reaches for Temari, she realises this and jumps back a few times until the shadow can't reach her. Temari then swings her large fan the winds blows and slices the ground, trees and at Shikamaru. Shikamaru hides behind a tree, he puts his fingers touching together, he is thinking of a plan. Then it hit him.

Temari is now getting impatient; she swung her fan once more. Winds slice the trees and grounds. The shadow then reaches out, using the shadows from the debris that Temari used, he then had her pinned, the shadow now caught her.

"How?" said Temari

"The debris you creates I used the shadows from them to strengthen my Shadow possession Jutsu" said Shikamaru with a smirk.

A very clever plan, use the terrain for your advantage, I seemed to underestimate you, Shikamaru thought Naruto as he is Impressed until

"Ah the hell of it, I quit" said Shikamaru lazily

The audience was dumbstruck and Temari was surprised.

"What, why?" said the confused Temari

"I used so much chakra to use this jutsu and It doesn't last long, if this dispels then I'll become an easy target, besides being Chunnin is just too troublesome" said Shikamaru as he Dispels his Jutsu freeing Temari.

I was impressed with Shikamaru's strategy, he could make a brilliant general when it comes to battles; however Shikamaru is Shikamaru no matter how much he changes thought Naruto as he sighs

"By the surrender of Shikamaru, Temari wins by default" said Genma

Shikamaru lazily walks back to his seat. Naruto then waits for the next fight.

"The next round is Shino Aburame vs. Dosu" said Genma

Shino appears on the arena but Dosu is not here.

"As Dosu is unable to appear, Shino wins by default" said Genma

Shino then walks to his seat. Naruto is getting impatient, Sasuke is not here yet. Naruto look around to see his 8 Agents, Iruka, Ibiki, Anko, Yugao, Hayate and 2 others who are cloaked and masked. Genma is waiting for Sasuke to come.

If you don't arrive on time Sasuke then I have no choice but to start the conquest. Thought Naruto

Then suddenly, Kakashi and Sasuke appear on the arena.

"Sorry were late, we got lost on the road of life" said Kakashi

Everyone sweatdrops as they heard Kakashi's infamous excuse of being late.

"Lair, but you're lucky I have to postpone Sasuke's match" said Genma shaking his head

"Oh, that is good well I better be going" said Kakashi.

Gaara, who lost his bloodlust because now that Shukaku is free and no longer terrorising his mind, casually walks to the arena.

"Okay, the match begin" said Genma

Garra's sand then spouts out from his gourd, striking at Sasuke. Sasuke jumps back and throws 5 kunai at Gaara; a Sand clone grabs the kunai and throws them at Sasuke. 2 kunai hit him. Sasuke grunted in pain then performed his Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu and blow flames at Gaara, the sand protected him until the sand turned into a wall of glass. Sasuke smirk at this, sand is weak against fire, he performs the same jutsu again, Gaara blocks the fire with his sand, formed another glass wall. Gaara snarled at this.

Damn you Uchiha, you think turning my sand into glass can stop me, think again

After that the wall of glass shatters in tiny piece and turns into glassy sand and shards of glass (A/N yes that is possible for Gaara since glass is made of sand, no matter what). The shards then flew to Sasuke cutting him. Sasuke then run up to the wall, setting up hand signs and channelling chakra in his arm, the sound of thousand of bird echoes in the air and a ball of lightning appears in Sasuke's hand. Gaara then creates a ball of sand around him to protect him. Sasuke ran in full speed with lightning in his hand and charges at the ball of sand Screaming.

CHIDORI!

BAAM!

The Chidori hit the ball, Gaara screams in terror as he sees his own blood. Sasuke panicked as he sees a demonic hand and heard a demonic voice

"How dare you hurt Gaara-san you disgusting mortal" roars a demonic voice

Then a person appears wearing a monk's robe and a shade hat. He is now pissed off. Naruto see this and rushes to stop him

"Shukaku, stop, he'll be avenged" said Naruto, trying to calm Shukaku down.

Then a Boom echoes the air and Feathers floats in the air putting the audience asleep, Naruto notices this Sound has made their move. Naruto, the agents, and the rest of the Leaf ninjas dispel the genjustsu.

"Genma, it's time" said Naruto

Genma nod and signals the Agents, the agents then jumps to the arena, the 2 cloaked agents took of their disguises, the reveal themselves, Hana Inuzuka, the older child of Tsume Inuzuka who as banishes for secretly breeding wargs for Ombré and Itomé Uchiha, she massacred the Uchiha clan when she overheard their plan of destroying Ombré

(Flashback 5 years ago)

As Itomé walked home from saving Naruto from ROOT, she overheard he father Fugaku plotting to destroy Ombré.

"So it's settled, tomorrow at dawn we strike, with their Overlord gone we will wipe them out and the Uchihas will be victorious" said Fugaku

The Uchihas cheers with pride.

(Song cue)

Fugaku smile then looks at the window with disgust

What can you expect?

From filthy little heathens

Their disgusting little city is like a curse

The Uchihas nods and agrees with Fugaku.

Their hearts are nightmarish black

They'll stab you in the back

The Uchihas stood up and chants

Fugaku throws sheathed swords and kunai pouches to the Uchihas

The Uchihas grab them and took out their sword and waving them in the air

Fugaku then took out his sword and point it in the air

The Uchiha activated their Sharingan, and pull out their kunai and point it in the air

Itomé heard this and prepares to kill the Uchiha Clan

"Time to end this" said Itomé as she rushed to slaughter the Uchiha Clan.

(Flashback ended)

Itome saved Ombré from the Uchihas, the people Ombré praised her as a hero and the Council of Ombré welcomed her as a reward for her deed and loyalty. She left Sasuke alive because she believed that he would create a peaceful version of the Uchiha Clan like her Uncle Ventus. But Sasuke was traumatized by the Massacre that he only wants one thing: revenge.

Sasuke glares at Itomé with pure hatred, he performed Chidori and rushed to kill her, however, that attack didn't reach her as she grabbed his arm and dispelled the Jutsu.

"Foolish little brother, you are too arrogant too see the truth of the Clan, and you know what" said Itomé as she whispers in his ear

"You always will"

Itomé uses Tsukiyomi on Sasuke. Sasuke screams in agony as he sees the Uchiha Massacre once more before he faints. Itomé drops Sasuke and bows to Naruto.

"What are you orders, my lord?" said Itomé

"Summon the army, the Conquest has begun" said Naruto as he drops his disguise.

"the 8 Agents nodded and does a combined Jutsu, a large gate appears in the arena(the gate of hell from BLEACH) , this shocks the leaf, sand and sound ninja, the gate opens and an army of Minions, Warg riders, dark knights, arrancars and ninjas ran out from the gates and yells out a war cry, the audience wakes up and sees the upcoming army, they scream in terror and runs away, the sound of screams is like music to Naruto's ears. Once he has suffered, now it's Konoha's turn. Golbez, Grimmjow, Neliel, Ulquiorra, Hizashi and Kyuubi appeared out of the gate, thrilling to fight.

"YAHOO, IT'S TIME FOR FUN" said Grimmjow in excited.

A group of Leaf ninja approaches them.

"Oh look, some toys for me to play" said Grimmjow

"I agree, these worms are nothing but dolls" said Golbez as he zaps the ninjas.

The ninjas then scream in agony before they die

"15" counted Golbez

"No fair" argued Grimmjow

"All's fair in Love and War, Grimmjow" said Golbez

"Hn"

"Hey, you're not playing "Kill many before the Conquests ends" without me" said a voice behind them

Zabuza Momochi, in his new ninja uniform, a black ANBU uniform (Similar to Naruto's Overlord Uniform but without the armour)

"Hey, the game began when we arrived here so shut it" said Grimmjow killed a whole bunch of ninja in his way "18"

Naruto then appears before them, his eyes filled with glee, Konoha will fall by his hand.

"I won't let you have all the fun" said Naruto

"Of course not, young lord" said Golbez

Naruto then smiles until a large bunch of ROOT ANBU

"By order of Lord Danzo, you will die" said the Leader ROOT

Naruto then smiles sadistically and his eyes glow red. Naruto rushes and slashes one ROOT, blood spouts out from his wound, Naruto rushes and slashes at him again. The ROOT panicked, Naruto is slowly slashing then one by one very slowly. Naruto wanted to enjoy this as it lasts.

Dark Haze Jutsu

Dark Haze appears around the area, ROOT are now getting scared, Naruto is taken them down like a predator stalking it's prey, also the ROOT ANBU can hear is Naruto's dark chuckle.

"Heart, Lung, Liver, Jugular, Spleen, Kidneys, now which one to strike first" taunts Naruto, scaring the ROOT. One ROOT screams as he is getting dragged until.

Splat

Blood stained the floor; ROOT got terrified and ran away. Naruto then growls at the coward.

"And where are you going" said Naruto as he hunting them down.

Hyuga Compound

Hiashi killed a whole bunch of Orcs, Minions and ninjas. Hiashi is struggling because he has no backup

"I need help" shouted Hiashi in desperation as he continues to kill more Orcs, Minions and ninjas.

The main Hyugas rush to aid Hiashi until the Branch Hyuga stops them and kills them. Hiashi was shocked to see the branch betray the main Hyuga

"You will pay for your treachery" growled Hiashi as he activates the caged bird seal, but nothing happened. The branch Hyugas then laughs as they took their Hitai-ate, the caged bird seals is no longer on their foreheads.

"How?" said Hiashi

"My master free them, brother"

Hiashi recognized that voice and turn to see his twin brother Hizashi.

"Hizashi, how your dead" said Hiashi in shock

"Surprised, don't be I faked my death so I could get my revenge and here I am" said Hizashi

"When did you-"

"Became a spy? A month before Damonhart's exile, I was an agent of Ombré before I "died" for the Hyugas" said Hizashi

Somewhere in Konoha

Naruto is chasing the rest of ROOT, knocking the buildings down with his Chakra Enhanced punches.

"Come out you coward, I know you're here, I can smell your fear, and It's smells delicious" said Naruto as he licks his lips.

Gaara appears as he felt Naruto's chakra skyrocketing. Gaara bows down to his new master.

"Ah Gaara, my new friend are playing Hide and Seek, would you like to help me?" said Naruto sadistically

"With pleasure" said Gaara who is hungry for Blood.

Naruto and Gaara then knocks down building in order to find the remaining ROOT, some were unlucky as they got buried alive from the collapsing build. Naruto and Gaara noticed that as they can hear screams not just from ROOT, but from the unlucky citizens, the Scream then became a symphony of death echoing in the wind.

"I think this game will be more fun if I invite some friends" said Naruto as he summons 500 browns

"Break" said Naruto to the Browns

500 Reds are now summoned

"Burn"

500 green are now summoned

"KILL" screams Naruto in Happiness

1500 minion then scattered to Break, Burn and Kill. The Building starts to break and Burn. The villages and Ninja killed, and Naruto level the houses to the ground. Naruto then sees the Hokage face and do want no Shinobi should do: destroy it.

"Kyuubi, Queen of the Kitsunes, I summon thee"

Kyuubi, in her demon form then appears in flames, hearing screams of terror as they saw Kyuubi, she laughs at the mortals and Naruto jumps on her.

"Take me to the Hokage Faces, the so called "Pride of Konoha" Kyu-chan"

"With Pleasure" said Kyuubi in her demon form

Hokage Faces

As Kyuubi reaches the Hokage faces, Naruto took out his sword and shouts

Pray for your god, de la Zorro

Naruto is now in his Ressurrectión, he slices at the direction where the Hokage faces are and smirks. One by one, the Hokage face starts to crack and crumbles in rubble. The Hokage faces are no more, Naruto laughs insanely as the "Pride of Konoha" is no more.

"NO ONE SHALL STOP ME, FOR I AM THE SUPREME OVERLORD, HA HA HA HA; NO ONE!"

At the walls of Konoha

Two figures watches the destruction and carnage in Konoha

"So terrible, the Overlord has destroyed this peaceful village" said a figure in white and blue armour, he has flowing white hair and bright blue eye.

"We got to find the survivors and stop him" said the weapons wielding figure; he is wearing a chest plate and a bandana over his head

"So true, Firion, we must put to an end to this conflict or the world is destroyed" said the white and blue knight

"Yes, the leaf shall raise again, For I, Firion the Weapons master and you, Cecil Harvey the Paladin shall form a rebellion and end the Overlord's tyranny forever" said Firion

Firion and Cecil then descend to Konoha to find some survivors

"The Rise of the Leaf has begun" said Firion and Cecil
