"What the hell is your quirk?!"

"Whoever said this was a quirk?"

Long ago, humans developed abnormal abilities like no other, so much so that they became part of their everyday life. The percentage rating rose within every generation, and heroes and villains became a regular occurrence. But one day, a boy was denied power, and many discouraged him from becoming a hero. Just as it seemed the world was against him, five unexpected individuals offered their hand.

They offered him magic for a quirk.

They offer him magic of a Dragon.

Long ago,

When Dragons coexisted with humans

They ruled all.

The Sky,

The Earth,

And the Sea.

However, Dragons deemed the humans weak

As their spells and incantations

Were merely feather touches to their scales

They took joy in tormenting them,

And eating them as meals.

But then, one day,

A Dragon came with a proposal.

To live with humans in peace.

They were met with ridicule,

But many Dragons considered it.

A civil war rages within the Dragon race,

Neither side gaining ground.

Humans wanted to partake,

But they remain weak to fight

Then, with effort of both Dragon and Human,

They created new magic.

The Humans fought viciously,

And gaining ground with their Dragon Allies

But then,

Tragedy and Horror struck when no one expected it.

Ally became foe,

And all foes must be exterminated,

From the bloodshed and corpses,

Arose a beast.

Two hundred years later,

A baby capable of emitting light was born in China.

That was the first documented case of quirks.

Quirks, superpowers only seen in comic books, became real overnight.

Chaos befell the world.

Governments crumble,

Riots were widespread.

It almost seemed like all hope was lost.

But when darkness rises,

there is always a light that shines just as bright.

Heroes.

People with brave hearts and a desire to do what is right.

Years have passed since then,

And heroics isn't just an ideal,

It's a profession,

A career,

But for some,

it is still a dream

My name is Midoriya Izuku, and I dream of being a hero. But not all men are treated equal.

That's a reality I learned at the age of four. It wasn't long before most of the world deemed it impossible for me to be a hero. For I was born Quirkless, and there is no such thing as a Quirkless hero,

Then, when I least expected it, destiny gave me a chance.

A helping hand.

Or rather, six helping hands.

This is my story and how I rose to become the greatest hero.

It was a nice sunny day.

In a nice house, on the front lawn, a giant garbage bag was tied up with a much smaller bag next to it.

VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV

The whirling roar of the weed wacker shattered the silent atmosphere. A guy with a green spiky messy undercut hairstyle and low fade wore a green bandanna to cover his mouth and neck and sunglasses covering his eyes. He held the weed wacker firmly in his palm as he cut off the grass. He had a lean, muscular figure and a green sweater protecting him from any loose grass. The engine was loud as he continued to work under the sun. The owner of the house was an elderly woman who sat on the porch of her home. She listened as the boy gently stopped the weed wacker, its engine sputtering for a bit.

A few in the neighborhood noticed the boy and greeted him.

The boy waved at them and replied with a pleasant response. While they weren't capable of seeing his expression, they could still hear his smile.

The teen placed the electric weed wacker near the garbage cans without another word. He grabbed the rake that was left forgotten on the sidewalk and went back to the lawn. He was raking the grass until it was a large pile.

He had been here since early morning. As of now, he managed to clean four lawns. When he finishes, the neighborhood should be nice and tidy for at least a month. He had been building up a sweat. He dropped the rake and grabbed the smaller garbage bag.

"Izuku!"

The boy turned around and saw the owner of the house waving at him.

"Come, dear, have a little break. I'm sure you parched and could use a meal."

Izuku thought it through. He will admit that he felt thirsty and hungry. He finished his water bottle half an hour ago, and his throat was dry. His growling stomach wasn't really giving him much of a choice either. However, he didn't want to take advantage of the opportunity.

"I don't want to intrude…." His voice was muffled as he scratched the back of his head.

"Nonsense! You are more than welcome to." She waved off his concern.

Well, if she didn't mind…

He pulled down his scarf and removed his sunglasses to reveal freckles over and somewhat of a baby face with green emerald eyes. He tried to remove any stray grass from his clothes to ensure not to leave a mess. He removed his red shoes before entering the house.

Izuku had a small press-seal bag that the older woman had given him. He stuffed it with grass before going inside the house. However, he ensured not to leave stray grass on her clean floors.

"I know it's not much for a growing boy like yourself, but I hope this suffices."

Izuku looked at the spread. There was some iced tea as well as some cheese and ham sandwiches. There was even a bowl of salad, and Izuku had a feeling that it was specifically for him.

He smiled at her, "This is perfect. Thank you."

He washed his hands and splashed his face on the kitchen sink before sitting down. He placed the bag on the table as the older woman served him some iced tea.

"Take as much as you want, Izuku."

He took the salad and three sandwiches. "Are you not going to eat anything?"

She waved her hands, "No, it's alright. I ate a while ago. You could eat everything."

It was tempting, but Izuku didn't want to be seen as gluttonous, despite her insistence. He opened the seal from the bag before opening his sandwich. He grabbed a handful of grass and put it on top of the ham. He mushed the sandwich after he put the bread back.

So he took a bite of his sandwich and let out a satisfied grunt. As he ate, the woman, not bothered with Izuku eating grass, sat down on her chair with her own drink in hand. He finished his first sandwich and grabbed another.

"It's nice to see young people dedicated to working like this"

"Hmm?" He gave her a questioning look as he chewed, his sandwich halfway eaten.

The elderly smile, "Nowadays, the youth only care about heroes." Her smile became thin. "Heroes nowadays are more interested in fame and wealth. I remember my grandfather telling me how his grandfather complained about how the morals of heroes dropped."

"In my opinion, I agree. I've heard how the first generation of heroes was truly dedicated to protecting. And when a new generation was in need, they would choose apprentices and train them to take their mantles." She sighed. "Those were truly the days of heroes. A shame it all ended when the government established hero schools."

She took a small sip of her drink. Her facial expression changed as though she had eaten something sour, "I'm sure you heard of Mt. Lady."

Izuku's lips twitched in amusement, "Yeah. She recently graduated and opened her agency here. She can easily subdue smaller targets and fight against similar-sized foes. Unfortunately, the extra mass grants her enough strength to destroy buildings and other structures easily." He clicked his tongue and frowned. "Though she enjoys the attention, and she doesn't feel any shame from having to take that fame from another hero while basking in the glory. She is also shown to be quite vain, using her sex appeal to further her popularity."

"Exactly," The woman says courtly, though Izuku could tell she was peeved. "The young woman is too caught up with fame. But she's still young and has more potential to grow. But honestly, dear," She looked at him with a small smile, "You are more ahead of her than either of you believes."

"Thank you, ma'am."

She waved off his formality, "Please, call me Tomoko. I don't care much about formalities."

"Err, sure." He took the chopsticks and dug in on his salad. "I don't mind doing this, really. This is beneficial for both you and me."

She hummed thoughtfully as she took another sip of her drink.

His tongue carefully caressed his canine teeth. "I enjoy the service I give. It gives me a good workout, and I help people. Just making people happy is enough payment to me."

Tomoko smiled. She remembered when the young man came to this neighborhood a month ago. Izuku, with a weed wacker, a rake, and empty garbage bags at hand, knocked on the first door and asked to cut the grass for free.

Tomoko had to admit that when the young man came in, he certainly tidied up the neighborhood. Not to say it was a mess, but the neighborhood certainly has never been this tidy.

"That's nice to hear."

Whenever someone offers to give the boy money, he'll politely decline. Some even made him drinks or baked him a treat. Even her next-door neighbor, , invited him for lunch a few times. And on occasions when it was late, someone from the neighborhood would offer the boy a ride home. He would politely decline, though.

"I'll be honest with you, dear. Even if you were quirkless, despite society's belief, I firmly believe you can become a fine hero."

Izuku felt a warmth bubble on his chest, and he couldn't help but smile. He remembered his childhood well. When he was mistakenly declared quirkless, everyone told him he could never be a hero. Hell, some still believe that he could never be a hero with his quirk.

"Although there is more than meets the eye."

Had Tomoko said this ten years ago, his younger self would cry that someone actually believed in him. All while politely declining the praise. Though now, all he could say was "Thank you."

"I mean it, Young man. If people out there want to be heroes, they could learn a thing or two from you."

Izuku laughed,

[Ten Years ago]

Location: Devaron Eisley Forest

Time: 12: 43 P.M.

Date: Monday, July 24th, 2348

Five-year-old Izuku wondered if he'd done anything offensive to offend any god or goddess for the world to hate him.

Everything began when Kacchan gained his quirk a year ago. He thought Kacchan was so cool, but after gaining his quirk, he figured no one could be as cool as Kacchan.

Except for All Might.

He couldn't wait to gain his quirk because, sure enough, most of his classmates started to manifest their quirks. Yet, a year passed, and his quirk never manifested. Mom took him to the doctor to see what was wrong. Dr. Tsubasa was the most recommended doctor as he was Tsubasa's grandpa. Surely he would know what was wrong.

His entire world was shattered when he was diagnosed quirkless.

Everything changed, and he learned at such a young age that not all men are treated equal,

His friends all but abandoned him. None of them wanted to socialize with a quirkless kid. The teachers would turn a blind eye. Any time he tried to report, he was waved off and told he was lying. His records were tampered with so that their star students had a better chance of becoming heroes. Though their favorite was Kacchan

At first, the blond was hesitant. Izu was his best friend, and they spent their childhood talking about opening a hero agency together when they became heroes. But that dream is no longer available. Because without a quirk, the green-haired teen couldn't defend himself in any form.

So, he first tried to get him to quit being a hero. Eventually, it became physical, to the point where he started using his quirk on him. Then, the reasoning for his actions was lost, and Kacchan only cared about being the best. He used Izuku as his personal punching bag.

He was treated as a stepping stone.

He was wounded and covered in burns. Earlier today, Kacchan, his gang, and Izuku came to a nearby park. They sneered at him but didn't try to make him leave. But when Kacchan attempted to bully a kid with a relatively weak quirk, he couldn't really step aside.

Which eventually led to a beatdown from Kacchan and his gang.

Rain began to pour, and Izuku was incapable of moving. "I-I'm sorry, mom…."

He lost consciousness, and the rain washed off the blood and grime from Izuku. There was an earthquake, and suddenly the earth moved. The earthquake stopped, and suddenly, a giant rock and dirt hand went to grasp the injured child.

It ensured to be gentle so as not to crush the fragile being.

Everything was dark.

All there could be seen was darkness.

"Artorious, why have you brought a human?"

"A human hatchling, no less?"

"This poor hatchling was wounded and left to fucking die. I know I shouldn't interfere with human affairs or whatever fucking nonsense, but I wasn't enough of an asshole to leave him alone. Can you both heal him?"

"Yes, the scent of burns and blood is rather unpleasant. Bring him in; this shouldn't take long."

"Fucking great…"

[Present]

[Time Skip: One hour]

Time: 12:56 P.M.

Location: Musutafu's Animal Shelter

As soon as he took a shower, he took an hour's walk and stopped when he reached a particular Animal Shelter. He opened the door and was greeted with glee.

"Hey, look! It's Midoriya!"

The man at the front desk, with a straw fedora hat, and a few volunteers and staff, laughed and cheered upon seeing the freckled boy. Izuku let out an amused chuckle as he shook his head.

"Yeah, I'm here."

"And here I thought we wouldn't see you again!" A buff man sneered with black hair, although everyone could see through his facade, and was just as happy to see the boy. "I thought you were going to join the big shots and leave us, little people, here."

"Oh, don't be rude, Kinniku," One of the females snorted.

"Yeah, there are still around ten months before the entrance exams." Izuku said, looking amused, "Plenty of time to do some volunteering."

Kinniku shrugged, "Whatever, man."

Izuku shook his head, "Had they had their time to stretch their legs, Kaunta?"

The man at the front desk shook his head, "Nah, we had too much to clean. Didn't have the chance to release the dogs."

"And the cat!" Cried one of the female volunteers as they went to the back room.

Izuku raised an amused eyebrow, "Oh? So glad I came now, then."

"Fuck you," Kaunta laughed. "Get out of here!"

"Sure," Izuku said as he started going to the backroom, "Let me just get the leashes, and I'll be out of your hair."

"That is if he had any under that stupid hat!" One of the staff sneered playfully, causing a chain of laughter and an offended gasp from Kaunta.

"Well, excuse me!" He said rather haughty, "I'll have you know I have hair! I even brought a special hair care product recently!"

There was even more uproarious laughter that surged throughout the animal shelter, and Kaunta gave in and joined. Izuku shook his head as he left the building, chuckling.

A few minutes later, the door to the animal shelter opened, and seven dogs and a grey rag doll cat came out with leashes on them. The dogs were barking with excitement while the sole cat was meowing every once and a while. Izuku stepped out and closed the door behind him.

"Alright, guys, let's go and get some exercise."

The dogs and cat ran to a nearby park with Izuku behind them. This will be a good workout.

[Ten Years ago]

"He is waking up."

"Yes, it would seem we will have some answers."

Izuku blinked and squinted when his unfocused eyes looked at four giant silhouettes. When his vision cleared, he screamed.

Never in his life had he ever expected to encounter actual dragons! There were three of them, and they were ginormous!

One of them was the most muscular of the lot, and their scales were made of stone and dirt. They had horns on the jaw of their mouth, nose, and the back of their head. The Dragon's behind had more rock-like spikes on its back with giant wings.

The second was made of plants. He was thinner than the Earth Dragon, and his entire body was made of vines and other plants. They had horns growing from the back of its head and underneath their jaws, and they were made out of Himalayan Birch tree bark. While not as impressive as the others, their wings were noticeable and made out of wood and vines.

The third was a special kind of Dragon. He was a beautiful green that shone; if Izuku was correct, his scales were made out of gemstone. More specifically, green jewels. They had horns growing on the back of its head and jaw. Their eyes were black, with only green glowing pupils indicating there was something on their eye sockets.

Izuku almost fell when the ground underneath him shook and was suddenly rising. He looked down and saw that he was not on the ground as he thought. A large hand with turquoise, blue and purple feathers pushed him up. He looked behind him and saw a Dragon with the same feathers. Unlike his brethren, he had angel-like wings instead of the typical Dragon's wings. They bore no horns, and their smile indicated that he meant no harm.

"Do not worry, young hatchling." Spoke the feather Dragon, surprising Izuku, "I assure you, we mean no harm."

"Y-you can talk?"

The Dragons let out chuckles from the loud, boastful Earth Dragon to the feathered Dragon's soft laughter.

"Yes, we can talk, young hatchling."

"S-so you're not going to eat me like those Dragons in fairy tales?" the boy sniffed as he rubbed his eye.

Izuku noticed that some of the four Dragons had a few faces of disgust, and one of them grimaced in thought.

"We…Are not those types of Dragons, young hatchling."

Izuku had teary eyes, "But they exist, don't they?!"

The Dragons looked uncomfortable, but the feathered dragon spoke, "Do not worry, young hatchling. I can assure you that we, five Dragons, are the only ones in this existence. And none of us desire to eat the flesh of humans."

Izuku looked relieved until his brain caught up with what he said, "Wait, five? But I only see four of you." He looked around, "Where is the other Dragon?"

There were a few grumbles, but the plant-like Dragon stepped up, "Sutorimu is currently hibernating and won't be up for another few weeks. But I must warn you that while she holds nothing against humans, she isn't fond of them either."

"She's not fond of anyone." Muttered the Earth Dragon, earning a smack from the green dragon next to him.

"Sutorimu?"

The Feathered Dragon spoke, "Sutorimu is the name of the Water dragon." He shifted into a more comfortable spot as he sat down and leaned on the mountain, "But where are our manners? We forgot to introduce ourselves."

"I am Astarot, the Sky Dragon," The feathered Dragon introduced himself.

The plant-like dragon stepped up. " I am Singrid, the Forest Dragon."

"Artorious the Earth Dragon." Rumbled the Earth Dragon, his eyes never leaving the child.

The Green Dragon stepped up. "I am Smaragdus, the Emerald Dragon."

Astarot looked at the child in his hand, "What is your name, hatchling?"

Izuku straightened up, "M-my name is Izuku Midoriya."

Astarot nodded, "Well then, young Izuku Midoriya, tell me, why was it that you were left to die?"

The question caught the boy off guard. "Huh?"

Artorious raised his hand to Izuku's level, and the boy saw his gesture. He walked from Astarot's hand to the Earth dragon's palm.

"I was hunting for good stone to eat." Artorious spoke his tell, "On my way home, I noticed you from a distance. You were alone, covered in burn marks, and were fucking bleeding out. You were at the urge of death. Had I not returned here with you for Astarot and Singrid to heal you, you wouldn't have fucking survived."

As it turned out, the Earth Dragon had Kacchan's potty mouth.

Izuku looked at the Dragon before he looked down sadly, "No, I wasn't dying. That is just the result of playing with Kacchan,"

"Kacchan?"

"He's my friend. We've known each other since birth."

Smaragdus narrowed his eyes, "He shouldn't be a friend if he were the one that left you to die."

Izuku started making motions, "Kacchan didn't try to kill me! He was trying to be a hero!"

"A hero?" Artorious said with disdain, "the standards of humans in this realm must be so fucking low that they considered a shitty bully a hero."

"If anything, this Kacchan should be a villain," Agreed Smaragdus.

Izuku looked scandalized, "No!" The Dragons looked at him. "Kacchan can't be a villain. He has to be a hero!"

The Dragons frown and give each other glances, almost as if communicating.

"Young Izuku Midoriya, why do you wish to defend your tormentor?"

"He's my friend!" He insisted, then slumped, "He has this confidence that all of us can't help but follow him. He even has a powerful and flashy quirk!"

The dragons looked confused. "Quirk?" They mouthed.

Astarot looked at Izuku, "Young Izuku." The boy looked at him, "What is a quirk?"

Izuku was shocked, "You don't know?!"

All Dragons gave their negatives, and Astarot gave the boy a more descriptive explanation. "We had stayed away from humans for two hundred years, so we know very little of how humans changed or evolved throughout these years."

Izuku pulled out his notebook from somewhere, which baffled them.

"Where did he pull that out of?"

"Well, humans began developing new powers around two hundred years ago. They were called a different name at the time, but I don't remember." Izuku scratched his head, embarrassed. He'll look it up later. "But after a while, we started calling them 'quirks,' and now, around eighty percent of the population has quirks."

During his explanation, the Dragons' expressions turn to one of amusement. In contrast, Izuku had no idea why they had that reaction, and he finished his explanation. The Dragons never once interrupted him and listened until he was done. The Dragons processed his words, which made them silent. In the end, the Earth Dragon spoke, breaking the silence.

"Hatchling," Artorious said, grabbing the boy's attention, "I want to know, what is this bastard, this 'Kacchan's' fucking power?"

Izuku's eyes brightened, churning the dragons' hearts, though Artortious would deny it.

"Kacchan can create explosions with the palm of his hands! His sweat is some kind of nitrogen substance that allows Kacchan to spark on his hands,"

Astarot hummed thoughtfully, "So a young hatchling born with strong power." The Sky Dragon ignored Artorious snark of, "I've seen better."

"I can see why you believe he could become a powerful hero." He frowned, "Though, humans, especially those with tremendous power, have shown that they can fall to their selfishness and cause a ruckus."

Izuku winced when he heard the other dragons grunt or hum in agreement.

"B-but…."

Smaragdus, "Izuku, it is wise if you understand that this Kacchan is no friend of yours. It is quite obvious he wants nothing to do with you."

Izuku was silent, tears beginning to drop.

"Tell me, hatchling…." Smargadus looked at the boy, careful with his words, "What is your 'quirk'?"

Izuku froze. While he didn't fully grasp what they meant by magic, he knew that it represents today's quirks, And if that's the case, that means-!

"I do not want to assume anything, but you lack the scent of natural 'quirks.'" finished the Emerald Dragon,

Singrid nodded, "The stench of your injuries contained the scent of these 'quirks.' Despite it all, we couldn't find your scent that indicates your quirk."

When the boy didn't speak, Astarot decided to confirm what they knew, "You have no quirk." Izuku flinched. "Don't you?"

His silence is the confirmation they need, "Y-you aren't going to say how useless I am?" He hopes they don't. He likes the dragons and would be heartbroken if they wanted nothing to do with him.

The Dragons were taken aback, "By the stars Young Izuku, of course not." Astarot said, all of them aghast at the thought.

"I assure you we have nothing against humans without any quirks." Assured Singrid quickly, "We even befriended a few humans without them centuries ago."

Izuku felt relief overwhelm his body. "Oh."

Singrid hummed thoughtfully, so the boy was born without a power to call his own. Interesting. Though from his little interaction with the poor boy, he could tell he wasn't liked.

"He's a well-behaved hatchling, polite too… Had the humans outcasted him for something he was not born with?" Singrid was not pleased and looked at the boy who was chatting with Astarot about his magic. "I wonder… if humans rejected one of their kind for not being born with something they became accustomed to, what would happen if we gave him something greater?"

"Hatchling," Singrid said, getting the boy and the other Dragons' attention, "You were born without a quirk, is that correct?"

Izuku nodded sadly but was curious about why the wise Dragon asked.

"We can not give you a human's standard quirk, unfortunately…." Izuku looked down sadly, "But what if I teach you Dragon magic instead?"

Izuku's brain stopped processing for a moment as the three dragons looked shocked, scandalized, and dismayed at the Forest Dragon's suggestion.

"M-magic exists?" Izuku breathed as though he couldn't believe it,

"Yes." The plant-based Dragon looked amused.

Izuku's eyes shined with hope, "C-can you really teach me magic?!"

Before Singrid could confirm, the other Dragons finally got their wits back and dragged the Dragon further away from Izuku. Artorious gently put the green-haired boy on the grass before following his friends' antics.

"We'll be right back, young Hatchling," Smaragdus said with a shaky smile to Izuku's confusion, "Please stay here."

As soon as they dragged the Forest Dragon far away from the human's hearing range, they began to rebuke him.

"Are you out of your mind, Singrid?!" Came Smaragdus' harsh whisper.

"Yeah! Have you fucking forgotten what happened the last time we taught humans our fucking magic?" Artorious muttered bitterly, "I lost Metalicana and my nestmates because of that shitty disaster!"

Smaragdus looked at the Earth Dragon in confusion, "Your sisters, I understand, but I thought you hated your brother, as he took delight in massacring humans and eating their flesh."

Artorious' expression turned foul, "Don't remind me." He grumbled and glared at the Emerald Dragon, "Though I fucking hate the bastard, my point still stands."

Astarot coughed, gaining their attention, "Going back on track," The Sky Dragon looked at his friends, "Tell me, Singrid, what aspires you to do these teachings? We've agreed not to cause another Dragon King's Festival incident."

Singrid nodded, "Yes, but over these centuries, I had been observing the magic and wondered what truly triggered the cause-"

"Isn't it fucking obvious?" Sneered Artorious, "The humans were too fucking fragile to handle our great magic."

Smaragdus nodded, "Indeed. Humans simply aren't created to wield such potent power. The magic twisted their minds."

"Yes," Singrid admitted courtly, though a little annoyed at being interrupted. "Humans weren't built to wield our magic. However, you forget that our process was rushed."

"Before we escaped Earthland, I managed to get the corpse of a deceased Dragonslayer and observe its magic container. And to no surprise, I found many flaws." Singrid glanced at Izuku, who innocently looked at them from afar. "During our first century in this realm, I studied our magic. In hopes of finding a way to prevent the humans from losing their humanity."

Astarot seemed curious, "And have you?"

Singrid nodded, making the rest of the Dragons mutter to themselves, "Yes. As it turned out, our first attempt at the ritual was incomplete."

Artorious narrowed his eyes in confusion, "How so?" He was never great with the scientific part of magic, so this was out of his league.

Singrid turned to him, "When we set motion to the ritual to the humans, we only did the ritual to ensure humans can wield our magic. We never took precautions to see if our magic was incensed with humans. They lacked certain things that normally a dragon would have. As a result, their minds and bodies weren't ready for such magic. We taught the humans our magic, but we could've done better if we had prepared their minds and bodies."

Astarot looks thoughtful, "It does make sense. Humans aren't naturally capable of wielding such potent magic."

"Yes, so during our time here, I've been looking for ways to counteract this, and I found the solution."

Smaragdus looked just as impatient as Artorious, "And what is it?"

"There are two ways to prevent this process. The first is more simple but the easiest. Unfortunately, none of us are capable of doing it."

Astarot's eyes held a hint of grief, "The Dragon Soul Technique." His deceased mate was the only one Astarot knew that could use this ancient spell.

"Yes," Singrid said sadly, not meaning to open old wounds. "The Dragon Soul Technique is the simplest way to prevent the seed from blossoming. But because we have no knowledge of how the spell works and it's risky for us to master it as well, that is out of the question."

"Which leaves me with the only alternative I've discovered. Antibodies."

"Antibodies?" Asked Artorious, confused and dubious over it. "What the fuck is that shit?"

"Antibodies are a particular type of essence that will help a human adapt to our magic. It's a long process but painless. The process will damage the dragon seed inside the boy but not harm him. Additionally, it will allow the human body to adapt similarly to that of a dragon.

"In simple terms, the antibodies will ensure the humans turn into dragons in human skin."

Astarot seemed thoughtful, while Artorious and Smaragdus looked baffled.

Singrid brought in the issue, "That being said, the antibodies had the disadvantage of taking a while. The Dragon Soul Technique takes ten years at maximum, even with the most inexperienced dragons. But the antibodies work slower."

"Why's that?" asked Smaragdus.

"The human body is more complex than you think, especially with dragon magic." Singrid hummed, "I would explain it to you, but I'm aware that some of you aren't the brightest of the lot and tend to nod off to the sun."

Astarot chuckled while Artorious looked offended, and Smaragdus sighed in dismay.

"But to put it simply, antibodies allow the human body to adapt slowly. The human body changes over time, and to ensure it does not suffer, the antibodies will need to be cautious and thus will only attack the Dragon seed."

"And how long should it take?" Asked Astarot.

Singrid hummed thoughtfully. "If I had to guess, in less than half a century, maybe around two decades?"

"You don't sound certain." Snorted Artorious.

"This is the first time I used something like this." Defended Singrid, "But I have full confidence that in two decades, the humans shall be prevented from becoming dragons."

Astarot seemed thoughtful before looking at his friend. "Very well, Singrid, I will give you my permission to do the ritual with the boy."

Artorious and Smaragdus sputtered, incredulous over the sudden acceptance.

"Astarot-! Surely you wouldn't-!"

"Have you-?!"

"But!" Astarot said firmly, stopping the two dragons' sputtering and protest, "If we see any casualties or if the boy shows signs of aggression toward us, we will have no choice but to kill him. It seems cruel, but I prefer not risking another Acnologia." Astarot looked somber, "I would hate to take the life of someone so bright and young. So I hope you know what you're doing, Singrid."

Singrid nodded, agreeing with the terms.

He was confident this would work out.

Izuku had gotten bored a while back and decided to write a few things in his journal. Maybe he should do a side journal about the Dragons when he returns home? He'll have to ask his mom about getting more notebooks, though.

He heard thumping, and the ground shook. Izuku looked up, saw Singrid's giant form, and smiled down at him.

"Tell me, young Izuku, do you still wish to learn Dragon magic?"

Izuku's eyes brighten. "Yeah!"

"Good, let us start the ritual then." Singrid opened his palm and gestured for Izuku to climb on.

"What am I supposed to do?!" Izuku ran to climb the Dragon's giant hand.

Singrid gently placed the boy on his head, and Izuku grasped Singrid's giant wooden horn for better ground. The dragon started walking away, "First, we must find an isolated location. And I will do the rest. It will take a couple of days to complete."

"But what about my mom? I can't stay here without her knowing. She would worry and cry." Izuku looked concerned, "And I have school!"

Singrid hummed thoughtfully, "Do not worry, young hatchling. We will come up with something. But first, let us begin. Afterward, we can look for your monah."

"Monah?"

"It's our word for mother."

"Oh." Izuku decided to write that down later.

"But worry, not young hatchling. We will tell your monah about this."

"Ok!" Izuku paused and pulled out his notebook. "But what is the name of the magic you're teaching me?"

Singrid chucked at the hatchling's eagerness. "Ah yes, it seems I neglected to tell you this. The name of the magic is Dragon Slaying Magic."

"Dragon Slayer Magic?" He wrote that down,

"Yes. And with my element, you shall become a Forest Dragon Slayer."

Location: Midoriya Residence

Day: Thursday, July 21st

Time: 05:30 A.M.

As soon as his phone blared with his morning alarm, Izuku groaned under the sheets but shifted. He pulls off the covers and yawns as he turns off his alarm. His room was nearly bare of hero merchandise. There were a few action figures and posters of All Might here and there, but nothing too significant.

His younger self had cried when he found out he missed many opportunities to gain limited and rare All Might merchandise. Though, after many coachings from Artorious and Smaragdus, it was better not to seem obsessive.

"There is nothing wrong with admiring someone." Smaragdus said to the teary child. Izuku had just told them about the missed opportunity to gain limited All Might Merchandise and had been crying waterfalls. The amount of water the Midoriya produced was impressive. Even Sutorimu was impressed, and the two weren't Water Dragon Slayers. "But you mustn't be obsessive."

"Yeah, it's creepy as fuck." Said Artorious bluntly.

"Artorious!" Smaragdus berated the Earth Dragon.

"It's the truth!"

Smaragdus sighed and ignored him before turning his attention to Izuku, who was trying to dry his eyes. "Ignore him, Izuku, but listen, ok? You may admire this All Might as much as you like, but it would be better if you didn't treat him as a god. He is not invincible."

"B-but-"

"From what you told me, this All Might has tremendous power for a human. So there is little doubt that he is powerful." Smaragdus admitted, "But that's all there is to it. The man is a human. He is no god, and he won't be here forever."

Izuky wanted to protest, but he fell silent at Emerald Dragon's explanation.

"We won't stop you from admiring a human, but we want you to stop worshipping him like a god. You don't need all this stuff to admit your admiration to All Might. Besides, you don't even know him."

"I know All Might!" Protested Izuku.

"No, Izuku, you know his hero persona."

"Huh?"

Artorious snorted, lifting his head from his comfortable sleeping position, "Think brat, you admire this All Might, his selflessness, his feats, and his power, which itself isn't bad. But what fucking bothers us is that you don't know him from behind the mask."

"While Artorious could be kinder," Smagdarus shot the sly Dragon an annoyed glare, he turned to Izuku, "He isn't wrong per se. You worship this man as a god that you never paused and thought about what he is. You don't know his name or what he is outside of his hero persona. Humans have the decency to ignore common knowledge when they're enamored."

Izuku looked uncertain.

"It could be that All Might is the same outside of his mask." Smaragdus said gently, "But there is a chance that-"

"He's a fucking glory seeker." Finished Artorious.

Smaragdus sighed tiredly at Artorious rudeness while Izuku looked as though he was going to burst into tears again, "We are not trying to make you hate him. We just want you to see this point of view, alright? Go on and admire the man you call a hero, but you don't need a lot of stuff devoted to All Might to show the world that you admire him."

"I-i…." Izuku slumped,

"Brat, tell me something," Artorious said, getting tired of Izuku's devotion, "Would you like it if people suddenly started looking up at you the same way you do to that human?"

Izuku opened his mouth before closing it. Once the words were processed through his brain, the green-haired youngling turned red at the image, but at the same time, he felt uncomfortable at the idea.

"And there you go," Artorious said bluntly, shifting his body so as to he could get comfortable. He decided to go back to sleep. "Stop doing this shit."

Smaragdus merely shook his head at his friend's antics before turning his attention to Izuku, "While Artorious could be nicer about this Izuku, I want you to tone down your worship and not go as far as to grab every bit of artifacts dedicated to All Might. Alright?"

"Ok…." The boy said quietly.

[End Flashback]

It was quite the drawback for him to accept that Smaragdus and Artorious were right on his views on All Might. Thankfully, now he doesn't need to buy the rarest All Might limited merchandise. It certainly allowed his mother to save yen in her wallet.

That didn't mean he would slack off on enhancing his analytic mind. If there was one thing that didn't change in his childhood was his love for quirks. Thankfully the Dragon family weren't against it and encouraged his analytic talent. They could come in handy in the future and allow him to find weaknesses and strengths.

The boy yawned, showing off his upper body as he slept with no shirt. Evidence of his labor over the years was evident. He grunted when his muscles stretched and released a satisfying pop. He went on the floor and decided to do some handstand push-ups.

He continued for ten minutes before switching his attention to the pull-up bar drilled on his wall. He grunted as he pulled himself upwards, his muscles bulging while doing so. He did this for a few minutes before stopping and letting out a relieved sigh.

He walked to the little Bonsai tree on his nightstand and was content when he felt how healthy it was. There were some pretty stones and a gemstone his mother bought him. It took every ounce of his will not to eat them. And he was proud to say it was worth it for this beautiful decoration. He lifted a finger a small squirt of water landed on the earth.

"Might as well do my daily jog," Izuku muttered as he went to his drawer.

He took a shower and put on his workout clothes; A black muscle shirt and shorts. He went out in the hallway and into the front door. As he was tying his red shoes, his mother peeked out of the kitchen.

"Do you want any breakfast, Izuku?"

The Dragon Slayer thought about it before he smiled at his mother. "Nah, I think I'm good. I'm going to do my daily jog before going to Takoba Municipal Beach Park."

Inko nodded understandingly and smiled at him. She had to go to work now and didn't want to be late. "Alright then, I'm going to do my shift at the hospital, but I left your breakfast in the fridge. I might come home late again, so you need to make your own dinner."

Izuku nodded in understanding as he stood up. With his shoelaces tied, he was ready, "Ok, mom, I understand." He had his water bottle and planned on returning to eat his breakfast before heading off to Takoba Municipal Beach Park. If he got hungry later, he had money around to get lunch.

Inko gave her son a quick hug and a quick kiss on his forehead. Once the Midoriyas left the apartment before they went their separate ways.

He did some stretches outside his house before running off.

Izuku had been jogging for nearly an hour when his stomach growled. He grunted and stopped jogging before patting his stomach. "Damn it." He cursed under his breath. Normally, he would ignore it until he returned home, but it was hitting strong this time. "I shouldn't have skipped breakfast."

He pushed on nevertheless and continued on his way, wanting to finish his jog before going home. Though he subconsciously made a turn to a couple of trees nearby. He stops at a relatively old tree. His stomach growled as his canines ached. His nostrils flared at the scent the bark gave, and he got closer. He looked around and noticed that there wasn't anyone around this early morning.

Instincts took over, and Izuku licked his lips before he took a bite.

Chomp!

"I shouldn't be doing this," Izuku thought as he bit off a large chunk of the tree bark and started eating. "I could get caught. But... I'm so hungry."

A couple of bites became too many. Izuku lost himself to his appetite as he ate the old tree. When finished, the bark was gone, and not even leaves were spared from the Dragon Slayer's appetite.

His stomach growled.

Around a couple of minutes later, people were puzzled about what had happened to all of the trees. There was nearly nothing, and the few that remained had bitemarks everywhere. Even the giant rocks were missing. What baffled them was that some concrete was missing as well.

What would a villain want to do with all that?

Izuku, who had been hiding behind a brick wall, was utterly ashamed of himself.

"I ate everything," *he mournfully thought, trying to ignore the satisfying fulfillment he felt on his stomach.

He allowed himself to fall to instincts, which wasn't something to be proud of. Damn it. He thought he had better control of his instincts.

Well, he had been neglecting his elements for a while. Maybe he should eat more stuff to have a better grasp of his instincts.

"Looks like I'm skipping breakfast," Muttered Izuku, feeling the guilty pleasure of satisfaction in his stomach. "Maybe I should eat more dirt and rocks and drink plenty of water."

Once he made sure that no one was around, he continued his daily walk. Next time he'll eat his breakfast and bring some dense stones and twigs.

[Ten Years ago]

Location: Devaron Eisley Forest - Forest Terrein

Time: 13:07 (01:07) P.M.

Day: Monday, June 18th

It took a couple of days, but the ritual was complete. The boy's mother, while none the wiser about their existence, was kind enough to bring her son here throughout the week. Singrind is confident that the process is complete, but just to make sure, he needed to do a test.

He left his friends and took the boy further into the forest. After half an hour's walk, they reached an open area where sunlight shone through the center of the area. This was Singrid's terrain; trees were full of leaves that swayed gently in the winds, and the grass was as bright as the sun.

As it turned out, the give dragons split this forest. Singrid ruled the forest, Artorious ruled the rocky terrains, Astarot ruled the cliffs, Smaragdus ruled the caves, and Sutorimu ruled the lakes.

Singrid gently lowered his hands and placed the boy down. Izuku looked around in awe of this place, the dragon inside him seemingly purring.

Singrid cleared his throat, "We must do one last thing to ensure that the retrial has succeeded."

Izuku looked up at the enormous dragon. Singrind lifted his hand and let it hover in a small patch of grass. To Izuku's wonder and awe, the grass began to grow at will. The grass was as big as Izuku, and Singrid removed his hand.

"Now, child, to ensure the retrial was successful, you must devour this."

Izuku's excitement changed to that of warily and doubtful as he looked at the grass. "I'm not sure I can eat that..."

It was sudden that Izuku's stomach released a loud growl. Izuku blushed in embarrassment. His stomach never growls like that. But his consciousness shifted to the grass, and it almost seemed to be calling his name. He subconsciously licked his teeth and felt the sharp canines that suddenly grew ache.

He felt a hole inside of him, deep like a hunger that could never be filled. The grass suddenly seemed appealing as he walked over it. His instincts told him that the only way to fulfill that hole was by eating everything that patch had. Maybe even more than this land had to offer.

Instinct took over, and in an instant, Izuku was in the patch of grass. He yanked some grass and stared at it warily. His nostril blared as the intense scent of the grass released, a drop of drool fell out of his mouth. He swallowed the saliva so as not to seem improper.,

The boy bit into the grass and stuck out his tongue, "Yuck."

At first, it was unpleasant, as the texture of the grass wasn't something he enjoyed. The taste was terrible, and he was tempted to spit it out. But just as the unpleasantness came, it was gone.

The flavor was out of this world, and the grass seemed to melt on his tongue. Izuku took another bite, and there were no casualties this time.

"Mmm~ This is so good!"

He was crying tears of joy, but he couldn't help it. He ate more and more grass the patch had to offer. Singrind smiled upon the success of the ritual. The boy was now a Forest Dragon Slayer.

Now all they needed to do was to find a way to reveal this to the boy's mother.

[Present]

Location: Devaron Eisley Forest - Center Terrain

Time: 14:43 (02:43) P.M.

Day: Sunday, July 31st

Izuku let out some deep breaths as he snored softly. He had trained for hours and was tired. He laid on his back in the sleeping form of Astarot, his feathers bringing comfort to the human. Astarot likewise was asleep, on top of a concealed cliff, and was taking a nap.

He wasn't the only Dragon, as the rest were in their respective spots taking a nap. Singrid slept near the trees, and Artorious was asleep on the rocky terrains, all while snoring loudly. Smadagus was nowhere in sight, but it was well known that the Emerald Dragon preferred to sleep deep underground.

A large lake that seemed bottomless was nearby, and it was rather obvious that Sutorimu the Water Dragon was asleep there.

Nevertheless, everyone enjoyed the calmness and warmth of the day. Astarot's body curled as he kept Izuku close.

Izuku merely allowed himself to be swallowed by the warmth and softness of his fellow Dragon. He smiled in his sleep as he snuggled closer to Astarot's form.

"Are you sure about this, Izuku?"

"Yeah! They are super friendly! And they want to meet you!"

Inko was uncertain. The mother noticed how much her son had been coming here often. Today, he had begged her to take him to the forest near the park.

When she asked why, Izuku responded by saying that he had met some wonderful people who would teach him to fight, never mind that he was quirkless. The woman was skeptical about why they would want to help her son. She doesn't want to be seen as defensive or disapproving. It was just out of nowhere.

A lot of people just…. change when they find out her son is quirkless. And most of them have been unpleasant to Izuku. So she was surprised that her son admitted to bumping into a few kind people who were willing to teach him.

Even help him gain a quirk.

Inko didn't want to get her hopes up, not to mention it sounded absurd. No one had ever heard of a quirk that gives people quirks. And even if such quirks existed, the mother didn't want to burthen anyone to help them. Well, Inko decided she would provide him with a benefit of doubt for now.

"We're almost here!" Izuku said excitedly as he dragged his reluctant mother to the forest.

Their shoes crunched under fallen sticks and stones. They would go over the roots of trees and rocks. Inko felt out of breath the further they walked away from civilization. Inko had been neglecting her body for a while. Maybe she should take Mitsuki's offer to go to the gym.

Thankfully she was prepared and drank a bottle of water. Izuku, however, seemed unbothered by the long and treacherous walk and instead waited for his mom to catch up.

"C'mon, mom!" Izuku pointed to his side, "Artorious said he'll pick up from here."

Ah, yes, Artorious. One of the people to help her son. If she remembered correctly, her son said the rest of the names were Sutorimu, Singrid, Astarot, and Smaragdus. Rather strange names, in her opinion, but Inko supposes stranger things are out there.

They walked for maybe half an hour before reaching a large clearing surrounded by the forest's trees and a large rock mountain. There was a large lake with a large waterfall, which reflected the cliffs, trees, and mountains. It was maybe around eight kilometers wide, and Inko noticed that the lake seemed bottomless as she couldn't see the bottom of the lake. Izuku allowed his mother to awe the view before noticing something in the corner of his eye.

The scent they gave was also rather noticeable. The Earth Dragon must've made his scent obvious so the little boy could pick it up. Izuku could also pick up that Arotious was getting a little impatient and that he couldn't contain his amusement for what was about to happen.

The small boy tugged her mother, snapping her out of her awe as she turned her attention to him.

"Artorious is waiting for us!" He said, and Inko nodded.

"And where is he?" She asked as she looked around, but she didn't see anyone.

"Follow me," Izuku said as he took his mother's hand.

Izuku took his mother much closer to the rocky terrain of the land. Izuku turned to his mom and looked a little sheepish. "Artorious is going to take us to the rest…but mom…?"

"Yes?"

"Can…you not panic…?" He pleaded.

Inko suddenly felt an uneasy feeling in her gut, "Izuku, you're worrying me."

Izuku only smiled sheepishly before turning his attention to the empty clearing. The boy knew Artorious was aware of their presence, but it was better to announce it.

"Artorious! I'm here, and I brought my mom!"

His voice echoed through the mountains. For a moment, nothing happened, but before Inko could ask her son anything, everything started to shake.

"Earthquake! We need to take cover!"

Inko panicked as she grabbed her son and started running far away from the rocky mountain.

"W-wait, mom-!"

Inko didn't listen to Izuku's protests as she took them away from the rocky clearing. Then, the earthquake came to an abrupt stop when something came out from the earth. Izuku smiled when he saw what, or rather who it was.

"Artorious!"

Inko glanced back and froze. She slowly turned around and dropped her son's hand as she gaped at the ginormous figure who was lying on his stomach, watching with what seemed amusement.

"Artorious!" Izuku cried with joy as he ran to the giant Earth-Dragon.

Artorious snorted and lowered his snout. Izuku jumped and hugged the Dragon's snout affectionately. "Calm down, brat. We saw you yesterday; no need to go on a fuss."

"But I missed you!"

"Sure." The Earth Dragon turned his attention to the woman, who was shaking fearfully. He raised an eyebrow. "So, is this your monah?"

"Yeah!" Izuku turned to Inko, smiling brightly, "Mom, this is Artorious!"

Inko shakily looked at the dragon, "Y-you're a d-dragon.." She stuttered.

Izuku looked a little sheepish while Artorious looked amused, "Yeah, I'm an Earth Dragon. Amazing, aren't I?" He said cockily.

Inko said nothing; instead, she did something that Artorious wasn't expecting.

She fainted.

Artorious blinked while Izuku went to check on his mother, "Well, this was fucking lame."

[Present]

Location: Devaron Eisley Forest - Earth Terrein

Time: 15:12 (03:12) P.M.

Day: Sunday, August 7th

"Five Elemental Dragon ROAAAAAAAAR!"

Artorious grinned as he used his hand to block the magic roar Izuku shot him. Izuku was high in the air, putting as much power as he could. Artourious struggled to push back the power and was amazed over how far the young hatchling had grown. Beforehand, the brat could only tickle his rocky scales, but now he could feel the sting. And only a sting.

Izuku stopped his roar and began falling, but he was quick to act as he used the wind to fly. While in the air, Izuku cupped his hands together and shouted, "Sky Dragon's Sky Attack!"

Artorious grunted as the strong forces of winds just managed to push him if only a little. Many plants and rocks were blown away, but Artoriuous wasn't as bothered. He grinned in anticipation. The youngling is becoming as strong as a dragon.

Of course, this is nothing a full-grown dragon can do, but the youngling certainly had the power to defeat an inexperienced Dragon.

"Earth Dragon Roar!"

He held back, of course. There was no point in using all of his power on the human youngling. Yet.

But Izuku was prepared, "Momentary wind!" Using the wind to increase his speed, Izuku jumped from rock to rock, including one of the giant rock mountains, until he was in the air behind Artorious' back. Artorious canceled his spell, but Izuku pulled a move quickly.

"Five Elemental Dragon's Iron Fist!"

Five elements of magic formed on his fists, and using the wind from his feet, he punched the Earth Dragon's vulnerable back.

There was a loud CRACK as some of the rock and earth scales shattered,

Artorious grunted as he felt the pain but otherwise remained grounded. Artorious turned around and smacked the teen into the trees. Izuku grunted painfully as his back collided with the tree bark. He growled as he slid to the ground.

"Good job, brat." Artorious praised, "Your magic managed to damage me a little, so much power for humans. But you need to get stronger if you want a chance to beat me." He said cockily.

"And you still need to learn some humility, Artorious."

"No one asked you, Singrid." The dragon growled at the Forest Dragon, who just came to view. "Why the fuck are you doing here?"

"Your time training Izuku with his offensive spells is over. It's time for Izuku's healing spells lessons," Singrid said simply while Artorious huffed. "Come now, Izuku. Astarot is waiting for us."

Izuku had to use the winds to fly to Singrid's back. He held on tightly to the plant-like dragon as Singrid raised his wings. Artorious decided to go out to find some good stone and rock to eat, unbothered by the sudden rush of winds when Singrid took off to the sky.

Izuku whopped as he took to the skies with the Forest Dragon.

[Flashback]
[Ten Years ago]

Location: Devaron Eisley Forest - Lake Terrain

Time: 08:21 A.M.

Day: Tuesday, August 15th

Deep underneath the cool water, bubbles arose. On the very bottom of the lake water, a giant Water Dragon slept without care. They have small, fin-like wings and long, slightly finned tails to prop themselves quickly through the water. Their beautiful scales come in shades of blue, cyan, and teal green. They had a fin-like mane on their head and had much sharp-like skin that grew from their limbs, wings, back, and chest.

On the banks of the giant lake, there was some movement.

The moment stirred the Dragon awake, and the Water Dragon opened her eyes. This was Sutorimu the Water Dragon.

They growled when she sensed an intruder in her den. If it's Artorious again, she will have no remorse soaking him with boiling water. She stretched and swam to the top of the lake.

There was a giant splash as the water rose with the Dragon's ginormous figure.

She growled when she indeed noticed Artorious, but she was surprised upon seeing the other three. Sutorimu had figured out of all four males, Artorious was the only inconvenient one. She hid it well, though, and instead growled threateningly at them.

"What are you idiots doing here?!" She demanded with a snarl, "I made it clear two centuries ago that I want no one to come to my den without my permission!"

Artorious snorted at her anger, "Not so nice to see you too, Hundino."

"Enough," Astarot said firmly before Sutorimu made a scathing retort or soaked Artorious with boiling water. "I apologize if we've bothered you, Sutorimu, but there were a few things that needed to be to your knowledge."

The Water Dragon dropped her threatening form but remained on edge, "And why should I care?" She glared suspiciously at Artorious, "Did Artorious do something foolish to reveal ourselves to humans?"

Enraged and offended, Artorious went to tackle her and attack her. Had it not been for Smaragdus, who knew his friend well and was holding him back.

"Let me go, damn it! I need to teach this bitch some manners!"

"Like you're the one to talk, Artorious." Sutorimu rolled her eyes, "Your language is as foul as cow dung."

"Sutorimu, please don't provoke him." Pleaded Astarot, "Artorious has done nothing of what you accuse him of."

"This time." The sole Dragoness muttered under her breath. It mattered little as they still heard her. Singrid had to help Smaragdus hold back Artorious and cover his mouth with his vines. All there was were loud, muffled curses from the struggling Earth-Dragon.

"Back on track…." Astarot said tiredly, ignoring the struggle next to him, "We brought someone to introduce you to."

Sutomiru narrowed her eyes suspiciously. As far as she was aware, they were the only Dragons in this realm. So that can only mean one thing, "You brought a human with you?!" She demanded. She sniffed around, and sure enough, she picked up another scent. It was faint, but it was clear that her brethren had hung around a human

Not to mention the scent was being covered by Astarot's own scent, which was why she barely picked it up until now.

Astarot merely looked down. "Come out, Izuku. It's alright."

Sutorimu looked down; sure enough, a human hatchling with green hair peeked out from behind Astarot's hand. The Dragoness had no idea what to say. She had nothing against humans, and eating them always was unappetizing. She never understood why many of her brethren enjoyed eating their flesh.

But that wasn't what caught her attention. No, to her horror, she can smell the scent of Dragon on the boy. Sure, it was to be expected for the hatchling to be drench in the Dragons' scent. It was obvious that the boy (what was his name again?) and her brethren had been spending time together before she woke up.

But the strong scent carried out something different, a different meaning—a meaning she loathed with her very being.

"You taught the human hatchling Dragon magic?!" She hissed as she glared at the boy who hid behind Astarot, scared of her. "By the Stars, are you idiots, foolish?! We need to kill him befor-!"

"Calm down Sutorimu." Soothed Singrid, letting go of Artorious when he was snickering at the Water Dragoness' reaction.

"Calm myself, nothing!" She hissed, "I can smell your magic on the hatchling Singrid. This is your doing!"

"Yes, this is my doing." Confirmed Singrid, Sutorimu balking at his admittance without shame. "But I assure you, everything is controlled."

"How so?!" Demanded the Dragoness, glaring harshly at the Forest Dragon, who looked calm and indifferent. "The last time we taught humans our magic, they went mad. That was the reason why we fled Earthland in the first place!"

"I promise I will explain everything later." Singrid said, "I need you to trust us right now. Can you do that?"

Had it been any other Dragon, Sutorimu would've sprayed them with either frozen or boiling water and threatened them. She wanted to curse, yell at them, and beat them up for their stupidity, but she held her tongue. As much as she hated to admit it, ever since they left Earthland, she had grown a reluctant trust in these males.

If only by a little.

While she thinks this is a bad idea and stupid, she decided to remain calm for now. She will beat them up later for their stupidity.

"Fine." She said with finality before narrowing her eyes. "I expect a proper explanation later."

Singrid agreed and then turned his attention to where the human hatchling was hiding. "Izuku, can you come out, please?

Oh, that was his name.

Not that she cares.

When the boy didn't come out, Singrid spoke again. "I assure you, Sutorimu means no harm."

Izuku peeked out of Astarot's feathers but didn't leave. Singrid gently placed his open palm in front of the hatchling. Izuku hesitantly climbed on Singrid's hand, and the Forest Dragon gently raised the human. And then Sutorimu was face to face with the hatchling.

"Sutorimu, meet Izuku Midoriya, and as you already know, he is the Forest Dragon Slayer." Singrid looked at Izuku and gestured to the Water Dragoness, "Izuku, this is Sutorimu, the Water Dragon."

Izuku shyly waved at the Dragoness. "Hi…"

Sutorimu…was not impressed. The hatchling looked as though a strong breeze would blow him away. The other Dragons grew fond of the hatchling, though, including the notorious Artorious, which itself was a surprise. Sutorimu might as well give him the benefit of the doubt, albeit reluctantly.

"Hello." She said curtly.

Well, it was a start if Singrid said so himself. By the look of the rest of the Dragon's faces, they seem to agree.

Day: Wednesday, August 31st

Izuku was eating a bowl of grapes, with a few pebbles mixed in, in his room as he looked through online news. It had been reported that All Might had been spotted today in Masutufu, which made Izuku research the internet for information.

Around two months ago, All Might made his debut here when he took down a Sludge villain and took them straight to the police force without casualties. What made it funny is that people said All Might stuffed the villain in an empty soda bottle. Since that day, Izuku had been hoping to meet the hero.

No such luck, though.

Izuku was disappointed, but it was to be expected. Because it was well known that All Might rarely is seen, he only pops up once in a while, and afterward, he disappears from the face of the earth.

He glanced behind him.

His room was barred of any hero merchandise, the fanboy in him was a little disappointed, but at least he had a few posters of different heroes and action figures.

But he wouldn't lie that he envied the person who posted his room full of All Might merchandise on the internet.

Shaking his head at that, he turns his attention to the news article. If it was true that All Might was around, it meant that criminals around would be less willing to cause a racket. Well, that was a little disappointing. It meant seeing fewer heroes in action. At least he should focus his attention on preparing himself.

He had less than eight months to prepare himself for UA's entrance exam. He was prepared, there was no doubt, but that was no excuse for slacking.

The Dragons trained him to his potential over the years, he studied for top grades, and most importantly, he had been going around doing some community service. Many people believed in him, which included his mom and dragonkin.

He will not disappoint.

But now, he needed to get ready for bed. Tomorrow is a new year in Aldera.

Day: Monday, August 21st

"Forest Dragon's Wi-!"

"Singrid!"

The Dragon Slayer yelped and faceplanted to the ground at the interruption. Inko, who had been watching the training occur, giggled at her son's predicament.

Singrid, who had been training the boy with his offensive spells, turned around to see all the rest of the Dragons, Astarot leading them to them. Sutorimu and Artorious looked as though they didn't want to be there. The Water Dragoness specifically looked as though she wanted to boil them alive.

But Singrid could smell the tension his fellow brethren released, which was somewhat worrisome.

"We need to talk…." Astarot glanced at Izuku's fallen form and Inko, who looked at them with confusion, "Alone if you don't mind."

"Izuku, continue your training." Singrid said, looking at the boy as he picked himself up, " Inko, make sure he trains properly. I'll be right back." Inko nodded.

Izuku watched as the Dragons left out of his view. He also noticed that they were out of his hearing range, which he was disappointed about.

"Izuku!" The boy turned to his mother. "Return to your training. I doubt you want to disappoint Singrid."

The boy sighed and nodded. He took a stance and started working on his offensive spell again. He jumped in the air and shouted, "Forest Dragon's Wing attack!"

Forest magic swirled around Izuku's arms, flapping them like a Dragon's wings, the magic shot to a giant bolder. The magic collided, and there was a loud BOOM!

Izuku landed on his feet and waited for the dust to dissipate. To his and Inko's awe, the giant bolder was no longer there.

"I did it!"

Izuku couldn't wait to show Singrid. He had to wonder what the Dragons were talking about that was important.

"Are you certain this is the right time?" Singrid was surprised. He had thought they were going to tell the lad when he had matured.

"Yes," Astarot said firmly, "We can not hide this anymore. Izuku and his monah deserve the truth."

"Not to mention it is better if he knew why we fled in the first place." Smaragdus hummed.

"Or how we brought Ethernano to this realm, which is the reason why humans can use magic in the first place." Artorious snorted, "Oh, I'm sorry, I mean quirks." He cackled.

Astarot ignored Artorious' sneer and turned to Singrid. "There is also another favor we wanted to ask."

Singrid ignored Sutorimu's scoff of disagreement and sudden departure as he tilted his head, "And that is?"

"Well…"

"Izuku, Inko, we would like to tell you something."

Izuku, who was focusing on working on his roar, turned his attention to all Dragon males with Sutorimu being no where in sight. Astarot and the rest settled down in front of the Midoriyas. Astarot taking the lead out of everyone.

"Is there something wrong? Asked Inko, worry on her face,

Astarot shook his head in disagreement, "Not exactly. We-" He gestured to his brethren, "-had talked it over and decided you two deserve the truth."

"The truth?" Both Midoriyas tilted their heads in confusion.

"Yes, I suggest you get comfortable, for this is a long and sad story." Both son and mother did so, both having bad feelings about this.

Once they sat down, Astarot began.

"Let us tell you the story of the Dragon's King Festival and the Dragon who brought ruin to all. He is known as Acnologia."

"Acnologia?" Both mother and son questioned internally, as dread began to build up.

"Long ago, we lived in a world known as Earthland…."

AN: Funny thing, I had this story in mind for quite a while. However, I originally had no plans of making the story and eventually forgot about it, kinda. Anyway, my friends and I were at one point talking about many different fandoms we could create, including crossovers. I jokingly said Dragon Slayer Izuku, and they got interested. One point led to another, and I decided to sit down and write the story.
