Br'er Fox sighed while he and Br'er Bear were finishing up the display for their special party they were going to have with a Br'er brother of theirs. "You sure this whole event is going to be fine?"

"I'm certain it is... I think."

"I don't like that."

"Come on when have I ever let you down?" Bear asked upon tapping his club casually behind him with a grin on his barely contained casually happy face.

"Let me think: all the time."

Bear blinked while he watched Fox strut back and forth in such a worried state which of course raised the larger mammal's curiosity regarding his swift partner's state.

"...Well you sure be certain to be in the mood to drink."

Fox sneered while he dusted off his clothes. "To get all my sorrows away of course. How else do you think I manage to be here?"

Bear was prompted to answer only for Fox to take his club and smash him on the head with it as a way to silence him since he had enough humiliation as it was. Meanwhile nearby was Br'er Rabbit going about his business with zero idea as to what his Br'er brethren were up to.

"They sure look like they're getting something fancy for what it is that they're doing! But I best not interrupt until I see what they're really up to...!"

Bear was getting the seats ready upon noticing Fox yawning. He scratched his head. "Hey... are you feeling okay?"

"I'm a nervous wreck on top of being exhausted. What does it look like?"

"...seems like you could use a drink."

Fox was about to snap at Bear but then remembered what they were going to do that night and somehow it got him relaxed enough to take the time to think since he was noticing the fact that he was sweating. "Oh jeeze am I a wreck; guess I'm letting the anticipation get to me."

Sometime later Br'er Wolf managed to arrive and he had a cool look to him that didn't seem to affect him while he approached the table with Fox and Bear already having the drinks set up.

"Ahh, brothers!" Wolf called out upon extending out his arms. "It's been a long while. How are you both?"

"Oh it could be better; but I'm happy to see you!" Fox responded upon adjusting his hat after the hug. "I just hope that you enjoy the drinks as much like I would!"

"Well they certainly look quite ripe given the color of that wine."

"They're freshly squeezed from the grapes." Bear said with a casual laugh upon tapping his shoulder with his club.

"Say are there anyone else here to join us?"

"Oh it's just us!" Fox assured while wrapping his arm around Wolf. "Come and have a seat, my brother! You deserve it for coming this far out to here!"
