It was so sudden, with no warning or whatsoever. The girl just simply died peacefully in her room. She had always thought of dying and often made deadpan dark jokes about wanting to die. A 50/50 wish, the girl wanted it to happen, but at the same time, she didn't really want it.

Leaving so many things behind. Especially those unfinished book and online novels that she had yet to finish.

Instead of panicking about the current situation that she was in. The girl just stared down on her lifeless body without any trace of emotion. A normal person would have already screamed at this moment, yet not only did she not, her mind was filled with regret at the sudden realization that she cannot touch any book.

So even if she was a ghost, she cannot read, much less touch any object.

The girl tried many times to get back to her body in different ways, but it seems like this wasn't as simple as astral projection. Looks like she had really died. With no more ideas coming into mind, she slowly closed her eyes and drifted away.

Not knowing how much time has passed, the girl was gently awoken by a series of voices that was familar.

As she opened her eyes, the sight of her family crying over her lifeless body that was placed in a coffin. Before she even knew it, looks like it has been a few days since her death.

Floating around her family members, her father, mother, older brother, older sister, and younger brother. With an apathetic expression on her face, she stared close to the faced each one of them. Clearly not bothered with the sad sobs, and messages of lament that came out of their mouth.

The girl knew that they weren't lying somehow. Though she had no idea how she knew.

Despite the cries, her expression remained unmoved. Even when she knew she cannot touch objects, the girl imitated the action of sitting and sat on top of her own coffin.

"So... you mourn for me." A mocking smile and a one airy laugh was the first thing that the girl did. It was such a sad scene, yet instead of being touched or showing any emotion of sadness, she had responded with a scorn on her face.

"I'm sorry... We're sorry... We, should've listened..." the older brother said with a sorrowful voice. He had regretted not listening to the girl's troubles. Not believing what she claimed to be experiencing back then.

"Nee-chan... huk..." the little boy cried as he clutched his sister's phone, it was what had connected the two of them. His sister seldom showed emotions, playing games with her was the only thing that he knew how to have his sister show some emotions.

"Why would you... you idiot.." the older sister's straightforward was the same as ever as she slightly punched the coffin where her younger sister was.

"..." the father didn't say anything as he somberly looked at his daughter's pale face. It clearly told him that his daughter was no longer the more he looked, and so he placed his gaze away.

"My baby girl... why did this happen to you..." the mother's trembling voice were filled with despair, as she desperately clutched on the coffin and prayed on and on for her daughter to come back.

The girl's ghost had watched them, the very front row, but there wasn't even a trickle of sadness showing up on the girl's face.

"So only now did you all decide to show that you care?" the girl couldn't understand their thinking process.

When she was alive, they would always find fault for the things she did. Pressuring her to be good, to have etiquette, good morals, good grades. No matter what she did, it was always not enough for them, especially her parents.

They make themselves look like what their doing is right. She cannot speak back, she cannot make excuses...

She just needs to listen and nod.

"How stupid..."

"Only being kind once I'm dead."

The girl cannot understand the concept of regret. The regret that her family was currently feeling for her death.

She felt a sting in her chest. It was the feeling whenever she tried to held back tears. Tearing her apart from inside, like it was crushing her heart. Something was stuck in your throat as she tried hard to even her breathing.

Clench your teeth, straighten your lips, and make a small smile like nothing happened. That was all she remembers whenever she was with them.

That was exactly why she cannot comprehend why these people are crying over her.

She was just some stupid family member who only brought problems to them. She was inconvenient, no worth at all. It will make no difference even if she disappears, just like what was happening right now.

"How incredibly stupid..."

She proceeded to close her eyes, not wanting to see it anymore. Such a sight stings her eyes. Looking at their sorry state makes her remember those unpleasant memories that she had experienced.

"Un... How incredibly stupid..."

—she repeated herself as she opened her eyes. The familiar warmth flowing down her cheeks as she slowly disappeared.
