It was the middle of the day- their first day, mind you- at U.A. Whilst everyone was inside being congratulated on getting into the most prestigious school in the country, Class 1-A was taken outside by their teacher, Shota Aizawa. Aizawa planned to test their resolve to see if they were worthy of being trained in heroics. They were already through a good portion of the tests and now it was one "Izuku Midoriya's" turn to see how far he could throw a ball with his quirk. Izuku was about to throw the ball using his entire arm at 100%, as was Aizawa about to erase his quirk and berate the soon-to-be "problem child" for doing so, when suddenly- "Time Out!". And then everything froze.
No one moved. Izuku, who had been halfway through throwing the ball, just stopped. So too did Aizawa, whose eyes were still changing from black to red. Suddenly, two people appeared at the testing site. "Hey, Clockwork-" one of them said, casually addressing the other, "Thanks for doing me this favor. You know I can't stop time and I'd really rather not have to travel all of them back to the moment they left, one by one. Such a pain that would be..." The figure addressed as "Clockwork" seemed to rapidly age from a small infant to a young adult as he responded in kind, "It's no worries, Rai. After all, you are indirectly trying to stop a calamity. Although I do hope this should fulfill the debt I and Daniel owe you."
Rai, with a dismissing wave of his hand, disregarded Clockwork's words. "Of course, your debts are fulfilled. Hell, this was honestly more you doing me a favor than paying anything back to me. S'all good man!" Rai said with a wink. Clockwork, smiling in satisfaction, proceeded to hand some sort of object to Rai before making his exit, "Good, good. I hope you succeed Rai, for the fate of this world is now in your hands." And with that, Clockwork vanished. Leaving the fate of the still-frozen world in the hands of the young god.
"Cryptic as usual, Stopwatch," he said with a grin on his face. "Time to get to work."
With a groan, Izuku woke up feeling his entire body aching. As he stirred back to consciousness, he realized he was on the floor and slowly sat up. When he rubbed the tiredness out of his eyes, he looked around and realized he was no longer at U.A. Instead, he was in some sort of living room. He looked around, trying to figure out where he was when he noticed that everyone in his class and his teacher was also on the floor, along with- 'All Might! What's he doing here? What are we all doing here? Is that Principal Nezu and Recovery Girl too?!' Izuku thought, recognizing the unconscious forms of his mentor and the respective school staff.
Suddenly, the room was filled with groans as the people began to wake up. "Ugh. What the fuck?" Katsuki Bakugo, Izuku's childhood 'friend' and bully, said. "Where are we?" Izuku's new friend, Ochaco Uraraka, said. Realizing that they were somewhere new and not in U.A., Aizawa quickly stood up, readying his capture scarf in a fighting stance. As he surveyed the situation and everyone got up from the floor, realizing the same thing as Aizawa, he noticed that the room seemed 'homey'. There were several armchairs, sofas, and bean bags all spread throughout the room as well as a TV on a wall and a little kitchen in the corner. Overall, it looked like a more casual breakroom.
Noticing that one of the armchairs was not empty, Aizawa's scarf shot out and wrapped the unknown individual up in it, pulling him from the chair. "Ah, finally," The unfamiliar person said, "It was a bitch and a half waiting for you all to fuckin' wake up. God, y'all sleep for ages." Tired of his bullshit and honestly alarmed at how they were in an unknown place with not just his coworkers but his class, who were children, "Where are we and who are you? Why did you kidnap us?" he aggressively demanded.
The boy, who honestly looked like a teenager, responded with a grin on his face, "To answer your questions in order: You are in the restricted breakroom! Here at Confederation H.Q., we have several breakrooms, some better in quality than others due to the required clearance level to enter, that we use to relax after a long day of work. My name is Rai, the current leader of the Confederation, and head representative of the High Council, and I've kidnapped you all to view the future of your world! Er- well, not the entire future, per se." At that last part, Aizawa used his quirk to turn his eyes red to intimidate Rai into explaining further, which kind of work. "Hey! Hey! Hey! I can't show you your entire future! If I did then you'll try too hard to stop it, which will just force it to happen anyway! And trust me, you don't want this future."
Aizawa didn't move after Rai finished explaining, trying to figure out whether or not he was lying about anything. He most certainly didn't believe anything about him showing them 'the future'. He also didn't know what this Confederation was, and he couldn't guess whether they were even still in Japan. He decided, although against his will, to release Rai from his capture scarf. "Thank you," Rai said with quite a bit of gratitude in his tone. He walked in front of the TV, looking out to the sea of U.A. students and faculty who are now all alert and fearing for their safety. "Now I've taken the liberty of restricting your quirks while you are here, with the exception of those with quirks who don't harm or are important," Rai said, alarming everyone as they attempted to use their quirks.
Katuski tried to ignite his explosions and he found that he couldn't as almost everyone in the room was also incapable of using them. The only people who could access their quirks were Izuku, All Might, who was currently in his buff state, Nezu, Aizawa, Recovery Girl, Kyoka Jirou, Koji Koda, Mezo Shoji, Fumikage Tokoyami, and Momo Yaoyorozu. "Do not ask how I did this, I won't be telling you as it will be of no use to you and your endeavors," Rai said, slightly thankful that he remembered to disable their quirks. Frankly, he thought Katsuki and Shoto were scary. "What will be useful to you, however," Rai said, showcasing the large TV behind him, "Is the foresight of these world-shattering events!"
Nezu, who had been silent this entire time whilst absorbing data, was extremely cautious of this entire situation, however, he was excited at the prospect of future knowledge and so, "I believe we should all have a seat and watch this supposedly 'apocalyptic' future," the resident Chimera of U.A. said. All of the teachers present looked at him in disbelief, not even understanding why Nezu is choosing to entertain their kidnapper's actions. "Yes! You should all have a seat! Especially since I took the time to grab all these extra seats from the breakroom a few clearances down. Hopefully, Dākami doesn't get mad at me for that, haha." Rai said, slightly wincing at the reaction of whoever this 'Dākami' is.
Once everyone had calmed down enough to take a seat, much to their chagrin, Rai proceeded to explain what they were gonna watch. "Now, as I said before, I can't show you the entire future from where you are right now to what we currently have. Frankly, that'd take ages and I'm too lazy to put in the time to show each and every episode. So, instead, I'll be showing you the important events, letting you skim through all the important, awesome, jaw-dropping, death-defying bits before sending you all back."
He said before taking an empty seat on a three-man couch residing a certain green bean and the brick shithouse that was All Might. "Also," he said, suddenly remembering something he honestly shouldn't have forgotten, "to those of you privy to a super secret, century-old quirk, said quirk will be revealed in the showing of these events. Trust me, everyone in this room is completely trustworthy, so you have nothing to fear!"
Finishing with a wink towards Yuga Aoyama, whose eyes slightly widened, he turned towards the TV, with a remote that came seemingly out of nowhere and pressed the 'ON' button.
