What do you do when your in love with your best friend? That's what I ask myself everyday. I'm in love with my best friend Edward. I have been for the last five years.

I've always been a quiet girl anyways. Edward's always had a steady girlfriend hanging from his shoulder. Me, I have never had a boyfriend, usually because Edward doesn't approve of my suitors.

The only people that know about my feelings for him are my mom and my cousin Alice. She doesn't live here, she lives in Dallas, Texas with my other cousin Emmett.

She has been my best girl friend. I can trust her with anything. She has been in a long distance relationship with Edward's friend Jasper, who lives in North Carolina with his twin sister Rosalie who is dating Emmett. So yeah all of my friends are spread out across the country.

They are practically soul mates. Any body could tell that just by looking at them. Edward thinks his girlfriend, Tally is his soul mate. I mean yeah, she is a nice girl, but I don't think she is really happy with him.

Edward is a great guy. He is probably the sweetest guy I will ever meet and that's saying a lot.

When I graduate from High School, I plan to go to Juilliard. There I will be studying and practicing to become a singer-songwriter. I'm into the drama and arts part of school.

Edward will be going to UCLA. At first he was unhappy that we would be apart. But I have convinced him that this is the right thing to do for his career.

Even though it breaks my heart to think of him going, he deserves this chance.

Even if I'm not there to see him make something of himself.
