Chapter: 4

They came down the staircase and he led her to Lune's table. Baron bowed and walked away to sit on the other side of Lune. Lune got up from his chair and kissed Haru's hand, he then pulled out a chair for her and she sat down.

After a while music came on and Lune offered Haru to dance, but she said no, knowing that the lack of dancing experience would embarrass her. Lune then walked over to Yuki and she smiled happily and said yes.

While Lune and Yuki danced Baron was looking at Haru. He had never felt like this before. He had felt warm and loved when he was with her. It had never been like that before. He looked carefully at her. I wonder how it would be like to dance with the woman I lo…He never finished the sentence before the song was over and Lune had taken the girl and almost forced her to dance with him. Baron also noticed Yuki standing in the corner while looking jealous and angry at Haru. Indeed, Yuki had always wanted to be with Lune and Lune's lack of attention towards her had made her more angry, lonely and cold. He remembered when Yuki had smiled and laughed and greeted all the employees warmly. But when the prince needed to find a wife, his father always set him up with beautiful girls and Haru had been the last drop.

Yuki looked towards Baron who smiled towards her and thought that he would help her a little. He stood up and walked towards Lune and Haru, who looked like a scared mouse on the dance floor. He pricked Lune on the shoulder and asked permission to dance with Haru.

Lune looked suspiciously towards Baron and said yes. Baron then took Haru's hand with his right and around her waist with his left hand. She felt so fragile, as if she was going to break with even the slightest touch. Haru looked intensely at Baron and Baron could feel his heart melt.

Haru felt that dancing with Baron was a complete different experience than dancing with Lune. Lune wanted her to dance perfectly and she could feel that he soon just would stop and humiliate her. With Baron her feet soared and her dress swung perfectly around her ankles. Baron hadn't stopped looking into her eyes which made her blush. This was about the fifth time – or perhaps sixth – time he had made her blush. Neither Lune nor Machida had had the same effect on her.

Baron had the most hypnotizing green eyes and she could feel his touch. She blushed again, looking away from him. No, how can this be. Am I really in lo…The music stopped suddenly and Baron had stopped in the same second.

Lune made his guards dismiss all the guests and promised them an excuse later on. Haru had let go on Baron but he still had his hand on her waist, protective.

When the guests had left, Lune started to talk.

"I had never thought you would fall for such a girl, Baron," he said. "Nor did I think that you would fall for my bride." he yelled at him.

"Guards! Cease him!"

Baron pulled Haru out of the way, while fighting the guards. "I never meant to fall for anybody, Lune. And I apologize for doing such a thing, especially when it's your wife-to-be."

He had already knocked out all the guards and stood still for a moment, facing Lune. "You don't even love her… why marry her?" Baron asked.

Lune ignored his question and smiled evilly. "I supposed you love her don't you?"

"Yes, I do" Baron said out loud, he had just realised it himself just now.

"Baron", Haru whispered with teary eyes.

"You know how I always told you that I would find something that you couldn't get?" Lune asked Baron, calmly.

Baron nodded knowing where this was going.

"Well… my plan was to find a girl that would steel your heart and after that I was supposed to marry her. Since you didn't fall for any of the other girls I got rid of them and started searching for the perfect girl. Apparently it succeeded." A grimly laugh came upon Lune's lips.

More guards came towards Baron and he could hear a scream coming from Haru's lips, someone trying to close her mouth. He saw her get dragged away by Lune but he couldn't get over to her.
