At the end of 4th year Harry finds out just how badly Dumbledore has manipulated his entire life and just how bad the discrimination in the magical world is and has had enough. He and Sirius leave the country and have the Goblins collect all the money others owe their families and sell off all their properties and shares in British magical companies and close down any British magical businesses they own outright and have all their money moved to Gringotts in Canada. They put a large notice in the Daily Prophet saying that any magicals including werewolves that want to leave Britain can contact them through Gringotts and will be granted sanctuary and safe passage. The goblins get rid of the horcrux in Harry's head and heal his malnutrition. nearly every muggleborn, werewolf, halfblood and light pureblood take the offer and a mass exodus from Britain happens leaving the pureblood elite to rule themselves. Harry's great grandfather had bought and warded an area of Canada that was twice the size of Britain. The magical Canadians were happy to have them as the Potter, Black, Bones, Abbott, Diggory, and Patil fortunes would boost their economy. The magical Canadians were more than happy to grant citizenship to everyone that came over and had no blood biase or bigotry. All the children, even werewolf children, were allowed to attend school and all the adults were easily able to find work or build their own business. Gringotts in Britain realized that the economy was screwed and they had every vault emptied and the contents sent to the owners before closing the bank completely and leaving Britain as well.
