It was a chilly autumn night, signaling winter was fast approaching.

You were bundled in one of Shinichiro's coat and his sweats that he insisted you wore because he didn't want you catching a cold.

"As much as I'd love to take care of you and shower you with all my love and attention so that you can be nursed back to heal, I don't want you to suffer," Shinichiro said, "Nor do I want to suffer because I won't be able to kiss you — I don't want your germs, no offense babe." He added in, grinning at you in the mirror to let you know he was only joking.

You snorted, "Oh, none taken."

"Love you, really, angel."

"Cool."

Shinichiro let out a laugh and shook his head. "Please forgive me. I was just joking, of course."

You raised a brow, your lips quirking.

"Who would wanna pass up on your kisses? Germs be damned. Love conquers all and all that shit, right? My kiss will conquer your cold." He replied and then paused. "Hold up, your kisses belong to me and only me, though. Please don't ever kiss anyone but me."

You were full on laughing now, burying your face in his back to fight against the blush that was creeping up your face. You don't know how, but Shinichiro never fails to make you laugh. He was your sun, the source that basked you in warmth and love.

"You're the only boy I've ever kissed, Shin. And it'll stay that way." You whispered, letting the wind carry your confession.

"What was that?" He said, taking a right turn.

"Nothing!" You replied, hugging him tighter.

"Your hair is all messy," you laughed, reaching your hand out to flatten the strands of hair that were poking out.

Shinichiro smiled. He was like a little cat when it came to you, always craving your touch and affection. To put it simply, he was down bad.

Shinichiro put the helmets away and then snaked his arms around your waist, lifting you up so that you were seated on his motorcycle.

He put your arms around his neck and stepped in closer so that your legs were trapping him.

"Hey," he said.

"Hi," you smiled.

He smiled back, the streetlights making his eyes shine like stars. You stared deeply into his eyes, awestruck at how they were looking at you with such tenderness.

Was this how you looked at him too? If so, you hoped that he could see it, you hoped that he could see just how much you meant to him.

You touched his face, stroking your thumb along his cheek. "You're so handsome, you know that, right?"

He grinned. "You just realised?"

You turned your head, bashful. "No. I always thought you were but, of course, I wasn't going to tell you that."

"Aww, why not?"

"Because your head's already big enough," you replied, patting his head.

He catches your hand and brings it to his lips, kissing it. "I love it when you compliment me."

You knew he was talking about your earlier comment but you couldn't help yourself. "What, that you have a big head?"

He flips your hand over and peppers light kisses along your wrists. You bit down on your lips as his mouth met the area just above your collarbone. "Shin," you said, holding back a whimper.

"Hmm?"

"I-"

He tips your head back, giving himself more access to your neck. You shuddered against him.

"What is it, pretty girl?" He teases you. "Do you like this?" He said, nibbling and sucking gently on the flesh around your neck.

He had an unsure smile on his face as his eyes searched yours, silently seeking for permission. You hummed, shyly nodding your head to reassure him. "I like it. I like you."

Shinichiro let out a shaky breath, taking your hand in his and positioning it against his chest so that your palm was flat against his heart.

You could feel his heart racing. It mirrored yours.

"Only you can make me feel this way," he said, a small grin tugging at his lips.

Your heart did a little flip. Wrapping your arms around his neck, you leaned in to kiss him.

He was like snow. Soft and pure. His lips moved against yours gently as he used his hand to tip your head back.

Kissing him felt like you were high up in cloud nine, drunk on love. It felt so right. So perfect. You and him belonged together.

"You're so perfect," Shinichiro said breathlessly, as you pulled back.

"No I'm not,"

"To me you are." He replied, dropping a kiss on the top of your head.

You tightened your arms around his neck, nuzzling your face in the crook of his neck. "I love you."

Being the dipshit he was, he pretended to not hear. "Hmm, what was that, pretty girl? Could you repeat that?"

You scowled, giving him a punch in the arm. "I hate you."

"That's not what you said," Shinichiro frowned. "You said you loved me."

"Oh look, so you did hear,"

Grinning, he planted a kiss on your cheek as you rolled your eyes at him. "I love you too."

Leaning back against the wall that the bike was propped against, you looked at Shinichiro. "Omi told me that you guys have an upcoming fight?"

Shinichiro pouted with a cute little frown on his face. "Omi? Seriously? Since when were you on nickname basis with him?"

"Aww, are you mad?" You teased, pinching his cheeks. "Jealous?"

"No," he huffed, turning away.

"I'm just teasing, sorry." you replied, turning his head back. "You're my number one, Shin."

A smile lit up his face, making your heart swell. He was honestly too cute for his own good.

"So…the fight?" You asked again.

Shinichiro shook his head, "It's nothing you need to worry your pretty little head about, angel."

"If it's any fight concerning you, then of course I'm going to be worried, dumbass."

He laughed, "Fine. It's honestly nothing big — just a fight on Saturday with a newbie gang who challenged us."

"You'll win, right?"

"Of course, we're the Black Dragons. Have we ever lost under my command before?"

"Hmm let me think," you said, pretending to think hard.

Shinichiro shook his head in amusement, "You have so little faith in me."

"And why's that not a surprise?" You raised a brow, subtly hinting at his not so impressive fighting skills.

"Ouch." He dramatised, holding his heart.

"Am I wrong, though?"

"Maybe you should protect me instead," he suggested, holding your hand in his and kissing them softly.

The irony.

"Maybe you should let me come to your meetings and fights then…" you suggested, coyly.

"That does sound tempting,"

You stroked his jawline lazily. "What's stopping you?"

Shinichiro let out a sigh, caving in to your warm touch. "I know what you're trying to do, Y/n."

"Ooh, calling me by Y/n now are we?" You joked.

"Shh," Shinichiro said, putting a finger to your lips. "You're a little menace at times, you know that?

"You love it,"

"Don't I know it."

You widen your eyes at him, silently seeking for the answer that was at the tip of his tongue. He just needed a teeny tiny more of a push.

"Shin." You tried again, "I bet you look so cool in your Black Dragon uniform."

His lips quivered. He was grinning. You knew that he was basking it all in.

You sighed dramatically. "I wish I could see you ruling over the gang, you must look so impressive. Too bad I won't ever be able to witness that side of you, instead all I see is you being a dummy."

You smiled at the scowl that was forming at his face. Gotcha.

"Why don't I just go ask Omi instead—"

"Don't you dare." Shinichiro muttered, irked.

"Well?" You said, a smug grin evident on your face.

He released a deep sigh. How could he deny you? "Fine, I'll pick you up tomorrow."

"Yay!" You said, way too enthusiastically to piss him off. "Thanks, Shin."

He made a face at you as you pecked him on the cheek, but you could see that he was trying but failing to hide his smile.
