Luna Loud was at a loss, never before had the fifteen year old seen one of her siblings look so lost...
Lincoln...Oh God Lori...all thoughts about her oldest sister just made Luna more furious.
What Lori did, crossed all the lines one could violate in a trusted position of power. Lincoln was sitting on Luan's bed, the former boy was wearing a long blue tshirt and black shorts( courtesy of Lynn jr).
Luan and Leni sandwiched Lincoln between the two of them, Luan kept cracking dumb jokes trying to lighten the mood. Luna could see the desperation in Luan's eyes as Lincoln doesn't respond.
Lincoln was devastated, Luna didn't blame him(her)?
Wincing Luna wondered how she should address Lincoln for the time being, from aperances alone Lincoln looked like a preteen girl. But Luna could clearly see her brother in those devastated eyes.
" Hey, guess what mom said we could bring upstairs"!
Lynn Jr looked a little to proud of herself as the athlete followed by Lana entered the bedroom pushing the TV on a portable cart. Lincoln looked up briefly, before going back to staring at their painted toe nails.
Lacing her voice with a liberal amount of cheer Luna patted Lincoln on the shoulder, " they have that new protectors of the universe out...".
Jumping up Lincoln squealed, " I've been wanting to see that new movie for like a year now...but it's not out for streaming yet.
Lincoln looked a little dejected before they sat back down. Looking from sister to sister Leni surprised everyone by speaking up, "why don't we see if dad can take us to Ballmart? I've totes got the money to spend on a movie"!
In all of Luna's years, never before had she been so proud of Leni. Lincoln smiled for the first time that night and hugged Leni tightly.
Lynn Jr broke the silence by calling out boisterously, " what are we waiting for, let's go get that movie"!
" let's make like a banana, and split", Luan chortled eliciting groans and a weak laugh from Lincoln.
As everyone was making for a hasty exit there was only one person left standing, Luna was dumbfounded to see Lola looking contrite in the corner of the room.
The eight year old beauty Queen was sitting down with her knees pulled up to her chest. The unshed tears in Lola's eyes gave Luna a pause, Lola was not know for openly showing weakness.
Being known as a pagent shark, the blonde was incredibly cut throat. Kneeling down Luna made sure to give Lola plenty of space, " Everything okay Lols"?
Lola shook her head and tucked her head into her knees. Patting her little sisters shoulder Luna found herself immediately worried, Lola was refusing to talk to her. That alone was a red flag, Lola loved being the center of attention.
" Is it about Lincoln"?
Lola looked up with tears filled eyes, " It's my fault"...
Frowning Luna listened to Lola, " I gave Lori some makeup and stuff...I didn't know what she wanted it for but I knew that it somehow involved Lincoln"...
Silently cursing Lori, the brunette tensed before picking her little sister up. Lola sniffles as she clings to Luna.
" You didn't know what she was up to Lola, and we all know how Lori is"...
Luna couldn't of been more dissapointed of Lori, to involve her baby sisters in her wrong doing. Lisa and Lola were far more apologetic than Lori was, given their ages it was sad that the eight and five year old could tell that what they did was wrong. While the almost eighteen year old refused to even apologize.
Ruffling Lola's hair Luna suppress her anger twords Lori, " Let's go catch up with the others".
Nodding Lola hugs Luna as they make their way down the stairs.
Inside her Lab, Lisa worked dillagently. The junior scientist had taken apart the " pod" as it was known, and was in the process of seeing if the effects of the machine could be reversed.
It was nerve wracking for the five year old, all Lisa kept seeing was Lincoln strapped into the pod and the betrayal in her male siblings gaze.
Despite her assurance to her maternal unit Lisa knew the situation was dire, the effects of the " pod" changed Lincoln's genetic makeup so to speak.
Even with her intelligence Lisa knew her boundaries, somethings were never ment to be tampered with. For the first time in years Lisa found herself at a crossroads.
Lori had propelled her past all her reservations. taking her glasses off Lisa let one tear fall, it was all she'd allow however.
She had a job to do.
Upstairs Lori was curled up on her side crying, normally the teen would text her long time boyfriend Boo Boo bear, but her mom had cruelly taken her phone.
Lori couldn't believe that her had spanked her, it was literally unfair. Lori was literally an adult and her mom had no business putting her hands on her. Plus it was a total invasion, little kids got spanked.
Sniffling the teen stared at the wall in her room dejected, Leni briefly popped in but the blonde went straight to her vanity and took out her purse.
Lori attempted to get Leni's attention, it was a shocking surprise when the blonde fashonista pointedly ignored her. Growing frustrated Lori raised her voice, " this is literally unfair".
Leni continued rummaging through her vanity as if she didn't hear Lori.
Mouth open Lori growers, No one ignored Lori Loud. Sitting up Lori clutched her pillow to her chest, her irritation level was at an all time high.
" Are you ignoring me"?
Leni turned to give her older sister a hard look, " I'm not very happy with you Lori, what you did to Lincoln was terrible and mean spirited"...
Leni continues speaking as she starts pulling her clothes from the closet, " You've been acting like a bully since Bobby moved, if he could see how you treat your siblings he'd be ashamed".
With that Leni grabbed the small bag she'd packed, Lori for once was speechless.
Anger bubbled closely to the surface, of all people Leni was talking down to her. Lori started speaking but Leni left without another word, and with her absence Lori was left just with her thoughts.
More than anything Lori wished she could talk to Bobby, since he'd moved Lori had only seen her Boo Boo bear twice in almost a year.
Lincoln was to blame for all of her misery, for fuck sakes why couldn't he of told Clyde to fuck off like she asked. It was always fucking Lincoln. Of all her siblings Lincoln always had to buck the system, nothing was ever good enough for the so called man with a plan.
Lori wanted to scream out in indignation, on reflex she grabbed the pillow she was previously hugging and chucked it at Leni's vanity.
Smash.
Lori winced at the sound of Leni's vanity mirror shattering. This day couldn't get any worse.
