Steve laughed at what Harry said. "On top of everything you're a gossip? You won't get that chance."

"I really hope not. You really love that woman, and that's why I'm here," Harry told Steve.

"Are you talking about Catherine?" Steve asked.

"Of course I'm talking about Catherine. Is there any woman you've ever really loved besides her? I don't think so."

"You're right," Steve merely said. He felt vulnerable when his feelings were exposed. "I need shave, I have the interview at 2:00."

Harry gave a small smile quietly. Steve had admitted it and Harry knew that Steve was difficult in showing his feelings towards Catherine. He changed the subject so that Steve would not be embarrassed. "Be very careful, Steve. I'm really worried about this. These guys aren't idiots and I'm afraid they'll recognize you."

"That's a risk I'm going to have to take, Harry."

"There's something we need to do before you get this job," Harry said and Steve wondered what it was.

Steve arrived punctually at the scheduled time for the interview. He kept his mustache and had his hair gelled and combed back. The female employees at the site were excited about the prospective new employee. "Hi, my name is Betsy. If you need any help you can count on me. I can teach you the job."

"Thanks Betsy, but I haven't even been hired yet. I just came for the interview," Steve replied.

"I'm sure you'll be hired," Betsy replied.

"Well, I don't know..." Steve replied.

Half an hour later he was interviewed by a rude man. Steve kept his cool although his urge was to grab him by the collar. "Fill out this form and wait for our contact," the man said at the end of the interview.

"OK," Steve took the form from his hand and filled it out slowly so as not to make any mistakes.

"There is one rule here that can never be broken: what happens here inside the establishment stays here. Do you understand?"

"Yes sir."

The next day, Steve awoke to a few knocks on the door. He got up, put on a shirt, and walked to the living room to open the door. "Good morning," Steve said to two guys who appeared to be almost six feet tall.

"Good morning. Are you alone?"

"Yes. I live alone," Steve replied.

They walked past Steve and into the apartment. They looked around and looked at Steve. "No girls?"

"No. Actually I had a love disappointment a few months ago. I'm giving myself a break, no girls for now."

The guy gave a smile. "Just for now, right?"

"Yeah," Steve replied.

"Is that your room?" The guy pointed to a door.

"Yes."

"Can I open the door?" The other guy asked Steve.

Steve shrugged. "Come on."

They went into the bedroom and opened the wardrobe and drawers, then went to the kitchen where they found an empty pizza box. "You gotta feed yourself better, man."

"Yeah, I know. I wasn't up to cooking yesterday," Steve told them.

They opened Steve's cabinet and refrigerator and grabbed a piece of cheese. "Very good."

Steve stood there looking at them not knowing what to say. The less grumpy guy pulled a piece of paper from his pocket and handed it to Steve. "The boss said you can start on that day and time. You're welcome."

Steve took the paper and smiled. "Thanks. If you can wait I can make you some coffee. Modesty aside my coffee is very good."

"We'll take it," the less grumpy guy replied, but the other guy quickly denied it. "No, we have other tasks today. Let's go."

Steve breathed a sigh of relief as they left. He waited for an hour before leaving the building, crossing the street and entering the building where he was living with Harry.

"Good morning, did you sleep well?" Harry asked him as he opened the door.

"Good morning," Steve replied and walked into the apartment. "You were right. They went to the apartment and searched even the refrigerator."

"We would have been in trouble if we hadn't rented that apartment for you yesterday," Harry told him.

Steve ran his hand through his hair. "I'm worried, they may have bugged the apartment."

"It's possible," Harry replied.

Steve pulled a piece of paper from his pocket and held it up like a trophy. "But I got the job!"

"Cool!" Harry replied

A month passed and Steve had made no progress. He had not been able to get close to the man who was chasing Catherine and was getting discouraged. He was on another day of work when he saw the man arrive. A few minutes later he received a tray of drinks from Sean.

"Do you remember the rule? What you hear here, dies here."

"Yes, I remember."

"You will serve the guests in that room. Be discreet, say nothing and ask nothing for your own good."

"OK," Steve replied.
Junior arrived at Catherine's hideout with Noelani. Catherine had not been feeling well for the past few days and Junior asked the doctor for help.

"I don't feel like eating, I feel very nauseous and I feel weak," Catherine told Noelani.

"Have you ever thrown up?"

"Yes, several times. And my breasts hurt too."

Noelani checked Catherine's vital signs and Junior stood back while Noelani did so.

"Any chance you might be pregnant?" Noelani asked at the end of the consultation.

"Yes," Catherine replied and tears streamed down her face.
